Maybe if they worked on SBMM just a bit more I wouldn't mind having it back. I had a few matches with a killer I play often (Ghostface) normally getting 3 to 4 kills most games, yet I was still placed with people who literally had 7 hours in the game at the max. One of them ended up adding me and asking what rank I was, then I found out the entire lobby was 20-17 in rank and I was rank 2 at the time. It was very awkward....

When I do play survivor, I try and go for the "two rule". So I can at least get one pip. Two gens, two totems, two unhooks/heals. If I'm really up for extra points, I'll bring a toolbox to sabo hooks. Emblems are still annoying because of how poorly designed they are, but that little system I do helps me get one/two pips depending on how well I did for the rest of the game. The only times I depip are from tunneling/camping games.

If I enjoyed that match, noticed an improvement in survivor or killer gameplay from me or if I just had a cool moment during the match I guess.

No matter what the killer is, I stay of its 3 or more cakes. If I match is unwinnable I start doing things last minute to wrap in some more points, totems, chest, maybe halfway try and do a gen. Help a few teammates that are injured or even try to loop the killer long enough for the other survivor to find hatch before I die. Even a terrible match with a DC at 5 gens can get me 160k points. So I might as well stay. There is no point in leaving a match that wont even last more than 10 minutes when I can get that much BP.
However as killer? I honestly will just let the last few survivors go if they stay long enough. Hopefully farm if we can.

I was rank 4 at the start of this event and I went down all the say to rank 19 just letting survivors get crowns. Sometimes they don't realize I want to farm now because it's low rank; sometimes I don't even wanna farm but I still let them make it out if they picked up a crown. I get my hooks(or until they
finish the last gen) and leave them alone to get out.

I hate a lot of them lately this week! However my favorites have been a nice Pyramid head and Oni. Out of the 200+ hours I have in this game, are mainly from playing killer, however lately I been playing survivor more because I wanted to see both sides of the game. (Also to use my survivor info on being better at killer.)
I'm not the BEST looper in the world, but I play to get better at both sides. This week I been able to run killers for half the game if they continue to go after me. The PH I played with was pretty good. I didn't make it out that match, but in my eyes I won because I was able to loop them for so long, even lose them a few times. End game chat was not what I expected. They actually told me I did excellent running. It made me really happy to learn I was getting better at survivor and even got positive comments about it.
The next game was the Oni. I missed up a skill check at the start of the match because I was looking at VC. I committed to the gen knowing the killer would show up, but it was more than 95% done. Killer turned out to be Oni, I didn't want to loop shack, so I ran to a TL wall. I was actually able to loop them for the rest of the gens. By the time I got hooked, my teammates had already 99'd the gates. End game chat was also pretty good. I said gg wp, as well as did the rest of my teammates. They ended up said gg wp and "I hope you guys had fun." I told them the match was very fun and was kinda tuff because they almost got me so many times.
Short one, but when I was new to DBD as in less than 60 hours. I have having a hard time learning killer. I had this one pig match that went really bad from the start. However I did get two kills. Turns out I was playing with a streamer. She was extremely nice and told me don't feel bad for playing aggressive at the end. She also told me she had a lot of fun and she understood how hard it was to learn killer at the start. She wished me luck and so did her teammate. Honestly? That moment right there is what turned me into a pig main.

Devour hope...but you got to understand the chance of having the combo of undying and devour hope completely snowball the entire team with 2-1 gens left is so fun. Do I need these perks? No, I'm fine without them but I will use them everytime time I get for the pay of the 50/50 chance it works. (I mainly only use it on lower killers tho)
For survivor? I gotta stop it with fixated. Simply walking around the killer always brings me into tears when it works LOL.

Everyone is playing killer right now for easier BP. I can't even blame them, if everyone brings cakes and you play well. The match can end in at least 180k-200k BP. My highest BP match as a survivor though was 160k, and that's ONLY because the killer was nice and farmed. A normal game though I mainly got 91k out of that match.

I think I'm just getting more lucky LOL. Not only as a killer main myself, been letting survivors keep crowns and if they want, farm with me. I also been getting nice killers that farm whenever I play survivor this week or just fair sports that tell me I played well. My first match of the day so far was this really nice blight that let me keep my crown on feng. I let him hit me, and hook me for him to get points as well.
Not saying I always farm though. It's a bit harder for survivors to get crowns, when I dont feel like farming I will play normally, I just won't kill them. I pretty much ######### off for the rest of the match.

A lot of survivors are being a lot faster with gens for crowns (at least that's what majority are doing.) I noticed that lately when the event started, but didn't matter to me because I been letting survivors keep them. I'll hook them not to derank but leave them alone the minute they finish the last gen or everyone is on death hook.
To be far I even tested it today with some friends. Casual swf I guess, but we rarely use vc seeing our group is sometimes 50% pc and 50% console. We ended up finishing three gens within the first minute of the game (all on different gens, I was the one looping) and I felt so bad for the killer. They did end up tunneling one of our friends who was new to dbd though, fair honestly we looked like a sweaty try hard SWF.

It depends what hex you are trying to protect with it. In some lucky cases running it with Devour Hope can literally change the game. Its a 50/50 chance it works depending on both totem spots and IF you get three totems before they see both totems. Try running that combo one day, it's super fun

I think I been getting a little lucky. I'm more of a killer main however I been playing survivor more to not get bored of killer lately (also to get better at survivor and understanding both sides.) I been getting a lot of nice killers that farm or simply ignore survivors to let them get crowns. I only had a few matches where I got tunneled, but it's mainly new players I would guess that don't understand it's a somewhat dick move.

Honestly just wanna hear the funny cases of what happens during matches for some people, Im normality always tired but this was the first time I actually threw a match because of it

I personally plan to prestige all my killers and maybe some survivors while I am at it. Pros are that its easier to get rare addons or better perks (plus the bloody outfits if you care about them) However the cons for me is that you just don't get to keep perks you already got if you prestige

I have never faced a billy, like ever. The only time I ever see a billy is when I play him. Most of my matches have been Myers, Ghostfaces and a few freddy mains. It's mainly just Myer mains though,

As a Killer main, I can confirm this. Most people who play killer lose a match or two and then assume the problem is the game, not their own skill.
Both sides have advantages, some fair, others not so fair (keys and Freddy lunges, to name only two)
Everyone on these forums need to hurry up and grow some thicker skin. At the end of the day, it comes down to wether or not you had fun.
This is extremely true haha. I'm def somewhat more of a killer player now but I'm still new to it. I know it's my fault because im not that experienced when I fail to apply map pressure and only land myself with a 2k sometimes. It's fine though, can't win them all however it's def a learning curve for next games.

I play both sides, but I have more hours on killer. However when I do play survivor with friends I'm somewhat between 2 and 3. I can loop someone for a solid minute or two and since I'm the only one that brings BT, I try and go for hooks when others can't. However, I still hide sometimes debating on the killer. If its one of the huntress's that have god aim, I'll sneakily do gens for my team. Those type of Huntress scare me so badly because they are so good with her

Sometimes they find them by mistake, but I have seen a few realize that a killer can't pick them up, so they would refuse to move until someone came to pick them up or all gens got done.

Whenever I play killer I never slug to prevent the hatch because it's so boring when I can just move on to the next match.
When a survivor is lucky and found the hatch first, then it is what it is. If you think it's only fun by getting 4k then do not complain when survivor DC, because survivors have no obligation to cater to your 4k play style either. Does it suck for the others when a survivor or killer DC? Absolutely. But you can't control someone just because they don't enjoy the experience and want to quit. There are players who will always DC regardless of the kind of penalty. Sometimes you just have to realize that this is just a game and move on.
Oh don't get me wrong, I don't slug for hatch either. Most DCs this week have been after I pick them up to put them on a hook. I figure they either know, I know where hatch is or their teammate found it before I could get to the closest hook. I understand it's a game at the end of the day, however it doesn't stop it from feeling like a free way out. Specially without the penalty. Though, penalty is gone for good reason (That being console players crashes more often after this update when playing the game.), so it's expected people will abuse the free DCs right now.
I never said it's fun to get only 4ks either. If I think someone plays well and they are the last person, I'll gladly carry them to hatch or farm with them for a bit. Whenever I try for 4k, It's because I'm running perks/offerings that give me more BP. I need all I can get for the teachables I can get for both killer and survivor. So it sucks when I use good survivor pudding or bloody streamers and I can't get fully value out of it (video at the top for ref)

I don't think it's too often, I only had it happen to me once or twice, sometimes survivors get downed in a weird spot of the map that doesn't let you pick them up. If the survivor themselves doesn't move, you'll just have to let them bleed out.

I wear the pride charm because yknow, Im part of the LGBT+, however I don't farm just because I see others with the charm. The only way I will farm with survivors is if one or more survivors DC. I have a lot of games where I would get everyone on death hook and it's a close game. Most of the time, someone dies and the other DCs. It's slightly unfair for the other survivors, so I'll farm with them and let them leave. Other than that, I won't farm.

I been getting DCs a lot more often lately, It's mostly SWFs though DCing for their teammate to get hatch. Somewhat sucks because I can't get my BP for all hook states, I don't care that much but I hope people don't start relying on DCing when they play against killers they don't like or DC for hatch.
