So we'll get a machine gun wielding killer next year π€
-
I play around half 11 through midnight when on 2-10 shift. Its my dbd shift :) Don't have too many complaints with the game. It is what it is and its not gonna improve drastically anytime soon so I just enjoy it in the moment. Needs a spark whether that be a full on maps chapter or a new gamemode .....
-
This aint much better considering its 2022. Its second only to a PS1 Hagrid
-
Jungle
Pirate Ship
Theme park
Castle/Medieval Town
Tropical island with boats instead of exits (Longshot)
-
Give survivors a harsher field of view, make it darker or somewhat disorted like on GTA 5 when you take those drug challenges π

Obviously they hint at a new, meta defining, nay gamebreaking mechanic that allows one to sit down on the benches in Garden of Joy.
Would be a meme feature if you could just give up and sit on the bench like a parent at a playground whilst the kids (survivors) run around and play whilst trying to get you involved π
-
Only been complimented once. I've complimented some killers, its not a good feature on console.
-
Oni with his speed and swordsman ship would make it interesting. Hard to go against size though. Bigger usually wins
-
Oni could use a wraith esc add on which mutes his 'grr' when he gets his power and/or uses it. He might aswell yell "29 30, ready or not, here I come"
π
-
We still have shelter woods and rotten fields too. So boring yet they haven't bothered to remake them/add something to them. Graveyard, church for MM estate and a funfair or graveyard for Coldwind.
-
I play Tinkerer Oni. Never faced that myself but I did watch a stream a few days later of my game and it seemed like good fun. I barely face any stealth builds these days. Haven't seen a wraith or GF for months
-
It takes some skills, like observation, defending, when to hit/grab/chase off etc. Avoiding BT and bodyblockers takes some skill too, not loads but Its not 0 skill like playing as the doctor π

I saw that played earlier today on Youtube with success lol but it didn't look very easy.
I ll have to give that a watch. Sounds good π
-
Had 3 down and 1 injured with Oni a few times, usually get 2 before deciding to hook. Need the survivors to be somewhat grouped fairly close to get 3 or more. Possible with the purple lion fang and crutch for max speed and duration.
-
I love dead dawg on both sides. Always seem to do well with Oni on it due to long sight lines and few obstacles. Its a good map imo
-
Can't believe they didn't give deathslinger grenades
-
Gotta be Slinger and Oni's time to be blighted.
-
Game licensed killers tend to be really popular. PH, Nemesis and now Wesker.
-
Oni πΉ
Genesis
Prancin Bat Tricks
Flood Gecko
-
Ghost Face;
I'm all tears π
Spilling Gemma's π§π‘
Flirtive Grace π
-
I miss the numbered ranks yes. Brown was easy, so was yellow, green and purple got tougher and I never played enough to reach red. I don't even look at the grades, completely pointless as they reset.
-
A dam site load of effort went into this post, well played. Too much to actually reply too though.
For perks, I think it would be cool (not liked) if they were categorise into perk groups and you may only select 1 perk from each group. Group 1 contains the exhaustion perks, Group 2, information perks, Group 3 healing perks and group 4 say miscellaneous such as end game/start game. Same goes for the killer, slowdown - info - status inflicting - Miscellaneous
Think a pick 10 system would also be hated by many, but again, it would spread out the meta perks and balance player load outs.
Map wise id rework Rotten fields and Shelter woods by actually putting obstacles in them and basically, remaking them both. Id add night time variants to cold wind or even make it so it starts dark, and gets lighter as the match goes on
Id also create a realm that required assembling parts for collection to rebuild something, instead of just repairing gens, such as finding parts for a kayak etc
Got tonnes of wacky ideas but not enough time to write them all down π
-
She's a pain for solo players as some players will cleanse themselves opposed to some that don't want her to get her power, some atleast cleanse in dead areas so atleast make her work for it.
I barely face her so im not at all fussed about getting a few recently. Plagues always seem decent players when I face them.

Horror is pretty diverse and horror can simply be more than an individual character being scary. It would be far more limiting to the game if the devs had to make sure every character fitted some arbitrary meter of scariness for their character designs.
Wesker is from a horror franchise and he is one of the main villains in the franchise. He fits perfectly fine.
Apart from he looks like a survivor and runs like the other killer that doesn't really fit. Not horror, scary, intimidating at all, just a cheesey Felix lookalike from the 90's π
-
I play as Tinkerer Oni. Unless you have Spine chill or an swf calls me out, im ambushing the Jeff out of you regardless of how the gen is positioned. If that's not exciting then I don't know what is π
-
Why would a solo survivor waste time transversing across the map to unhook someone and risk getting caught themselves? If a fellow survivor is nearby then fine, help them when clear, but I won't leave one half of the map for the other if I'm repairing a gen.
-
Think it should be once per trial. Problem with that is, solo players might lose track of who's used there unbreakable and who hasn't. Not sure I think infinite unbreakables are a good idea, then again, very rarely do get slugged anyway .....
-
Pretty much the older the character, the most outdated there mori is. Trapper really needs one in which he puts a survivors head in a trap. Wraith could have a gruesome one based on Predator and spinal cords.
Personally, I feel like all killers should have a bunch of moris players can choose from. Stick alternative moris in the battle pass and unlocked in season events.
-
Perhaps try a new killer and work your way up again?

Then you'll get accustemed to Bot movement not non-potatoto humans. IF you want to mechanically learn a killer that's fine but don't expect to learn how to really loop against bots.

Going after someone you've already hooked be they fully healthy again or not is valid but that can't be justification to just do it all the time.
Just now i faced a Turkey Demon Monster Thingy who 3 hooked me before having anyone else hooked... How the hell am i supposed to play? The guy literally rather have chases last longer by making me use DH than chase anyone else. And i've had a Pyramid Head call me a hacker cause i DH'ed a Punishment of the Damned Special Attack. Granted i did it behind a wall too which obviously made the guy suspicious but i saw the red flash i hit DH, i thought i was dead but i wasn't and i panicked and immediatly dropped a pallet when it wasn't necessary.
I'm not a streamer, not a Youtuber and i've already been called hacker cause i have a pretty decent grasp of how to use Dead Hard.
Killers are goddamn paranoid. I'll try use Balanced Landing even though most maps don't offer much use for it. It's either that or Smash hit though smash hit is a 50/50 that feels like a 100/100 lose cause i don't know how to pallet vaccum.
The whole point is that players can mechanically learn a power instead of being rinsed by real players. The bots have nothing to do with it, just the ability to freely use a killers power at your own leisure
-
Bots could equal more blights and nurses as its the perfect type of match practice.....
As soon as bots arrive, I'm putting Oni aside to try Blight :)
-
I often escape as the only player but barely score more than the 3rd placed player as I kept my nose clean, evaded the killer, did my job and got out π
-
Or give all players it once per trial. Like Unbreakable.......
-
Ghost face can be a decent shout. His green addon that insta restores his NS upon breaking a pallet makes him able to be a handful as he is frequently in and out of NS.
-
Lol
Yeah resting state technically. Give me a minute son, just need to take 45 ....
-
Need base kit prove thyself. Can't believe that's not been done yet.
-
Never get camped and I don't camp when I play killer so....
-
Felixster
Huntress
Nurse
Blight
Legion
-
The only one I don't agree with is the base kit unbreakable. Its rendered a lot of plays/killers/scenarios as useless.
-
I slug instead of tunneling if I end up downing the unhooked player shortly off the hook, but as Oni who somewhat relies on slugs, I ll have to resort to tunneling now..... why drop 2 and go after the 3rd when after I get to them, slugs 1 and 2 are up and back on gens :/
-
The zombies being faster and smarter would be a start. My labrador could pick up the controller and navigate away from the current ones.
-
In football terms;
1k is like losing by a single goal
2k is a draw
3k is like winning 1 nil (unless they fluked a hatch escape with 4+gens left
4k is a clear win and how many gens left equates to your winning margin π
-
I preferred the old dead hard. Hitting a survivor with demon strike only for it to be null and voided because of a button click is super annoying. Its a cheesy perk now albeit takes some skill to use.
-
Remember when the Coldwind farm looked atmospheric?
-
I only assume where the vaults and pallets are, I have a rough Idea and I scope out the areas as I play, but when I watch back of players using WOO, my word is does look strong. Saves you taking a wrong turn and gets you off the hook, figuratively π
-
Always like the swamps. Atmospheric, balanced, the leveled buildings are like fun houses and the pale rose is fun to be chased around.
-
He definitely needs a rework. Never see him anymore.
-
Don't see any cheating when I play. Only seen enough in my time in the game to count on one hand easily. Never even accused/suspected of foul play before, yet alone seen a lot. Seen a floating/teleporting pinhead and a couple of speed crawlers, that's it
-
Hadn't seen or heard of Hellraiser for about 25 years, then dbd added and since then ..... I've still not seen or heard anyone or anything about hellraiser
-
Finding a survivor straight away is pretty easy imo. Better value using Corrupt so that they can't do as much early on. Its handy for Oni, Shape and Trapper but its kinda obvious where survivors will be at the start.
