  • Nice, Ghostface and Pig won't be the only ones to BM back and Ghostface can double BM

I see Blendette. Blendette hook. Blendette unhook? Blendette Mori.

Nothing to do with skill, as you can see.

    All Blendettes must die.

The penalty is good and should stay in place.

For hackers are bans and in some countrys courts responsible.

Sorry what? Are you joking? Not all countries have proper laws for this and how long would it take to create a law for distrupting a game? Besides, my countries courts are already overloaded with others serious crimes. I rather have my judges sending real gang criminals to prison rather than someone ending a game on the internet.

  • So they removed the DC penalties for a third time? Good riddance. Well sucks when an entire game DCs but when you get bad scenarios like:

Getting 4 man slugged and never hooked just to be trolled by the killer

When someone takes the game hostage

Killer DC but you still get penalty for no reason

You DC and get punished for others crappy behaviour or stay for god knows how long, wasting your time. How is that fair?

  • Close but no cigar.

  • Once every 20 games-ish I would guess. I used to see Billy atleast once a day before the "rework". Now if I am lucky I can see one every five days or something.

Oh and I would also play as Billy every day. Now I have so little fun with him I rarely touch him anymore. Broken animations and bad addons just killed him for me.

  • Isn't that only for healthy survivors?

  • Fair enough. But the descrition of the perk is just spot on. I get gameplay must have priority over lore but man you really shouldn't give oni blood orbs based on the descrition.

  • Agreed. But the devs don't want instances where a killer is denied of his power, hence why they gave Plague a corrupt fountain at the start. Then again lets be honest, when are you going to run into 4 survivors running No Mither, and you play Oni.

  • I don't think we ever will, people have been asking for years. BHVR has screwed over colour blind people because it might give non colour blind an advantage. So yeah lets just ignore the problems of 10% of the population or what the percentage for colour blindess is.

  • Maybe go play Civilization for a while.

  • Yeah thats pretty much it. If they click, they want you to chase them. Check if they are a good looper. If true, go find someone else and don't actively go for that person unless they are out of position. Kill their friends and hook them, they are the clicky clicky persons problem now.

  • No counter killers (don't @ me), great walls of china fences on Haddonfield, Blendettes taking game hostage

  • Color blind mode should be in the game yesterday. People who want to get an advantage will find a way somehow, just look at the strecthed screen settings some players do.

  • She is still op, there I said it.

  • short answer: bhvr just want to slap a cool down on everything

I'm against this idea. Breakable walls are for killer to reduce or extend loops, as they want. It would be too abusive for survivors to break walls.

    From a survivor main.

My thoughts exactly. Forcing the killer to kick walls is more to the survivors advantage. Why would you want to break a wall that makes a loop super hard for the killer. So why not make it able to somehow block up a wall the killer has kicked? Its more in line with the current use of the perk, or maybe that might be too strong?

  • Not really, you can do it with only 1. I have tried with both and I didnt get that much of a larger jump I think.

  • well not true space billy but you can jump off the hill to the left side and get a good boost if you do it right

  • Its possible on Azarovs and Coldwin farm hills.

  • The new THICC grass... but at the same time my anxiety will spike even more now when playing against Trapper. Holy cow you have a harder time seeing the traps.

  • Well, I know I will keep Calm Spirit on now... More perks that make you scream, more incentive to use an underrated perk.

I agree. It has a big learning curve. But when mastered it's one of the best perks in the entire game.

I've already made my counter point to moon/crabwalking, so I'll make it again. If a single perk forces a killer to change their movement, (and potentially miss survivors they don't see), then it's too powerful on its own.

You last point is flat out wrong.

Spinchill. Being nearly useless on indoor maps. That is the opposite of true.

No it does not need a nerf. If your largest argument for a nerf is that a perk forces a killer to change his movement because of a nerf, we need to nerf all the OP perks like:

Calm Spirit (because Killer might set off a crow in the distance which the survivor might see and know the killer is approaching)

    Premenition (Spine Chill light)

Technician (Need to get even closer to check the gen is not worked on or get direct line of sight to the gen)

Dance With Me (Scratch marks are gone, better check every corner around this window, survivor could be hiding here somewhere)

Diversion (Loud notification over there, better check it I guess since I have no one to chase right now and don't know where any survivor is)

Poised (More perks messing with scratch marks and distrupting my tracking if it pops in chase)

Distortion (I should have seen 3 survivors in the distance, hmm better check nearby if someone is hiding within 40m or go over to a corner in the map where I suspect a survivor is in a locker)

Other absurd perks with simular situations.

"Some of us get our kicks seeing just how hard we can fuNk with the Killer and waste their time entirely." - One of the reasons survivors get tunneled.

"It's a legitimate part of the game. Stop acting like it's not." - So is tunneling stealthy survivors.

Congratulations on making the case for Killers to tunnel survivors in your anti-tunnel post.

This. I just had a game today with 3 Blendettes wasting my time by hiding in bushes and taking the game hostage. Stealth is part of the game and I like trying to not be seen by the killer if I can but its an entierly different story when you just stealth around to troll, waste peoples time and taking games hostage. I am equiping a mori every time I see a Blendette from now on.

  • No, devs have said its a valid strategy. Also, maybe don't do stuff that warrants the killer to tunnel the crap out of you like bringing Object of Obession, tbagging, flashlight clicking and jumping into lockers with DS. This lowers the chance of you getting on killers hitlist and maybe, just maybe not getting face camped in the basement.

  • Would be cool Legion should have unique music track, but I don't want every killer to get his own terror radius music. I kinda like some of the old ones. I thought that some of the original killers could have the old music but thats out the window now with Hillbilly having his own music. Also I know there might be some licensing problems but I would love to have this for the Pig.

    https://youtu.be/YpU6C9lCE8s

  • I run into them a lot less. I can count on my fingers the number of times I seen them and I play daily.

  • No not really but I totally get why you would do it.

  • Because the devs are favoring the survivors. They don't want to upset and risk a large part of players leave the game.

On a sidenote, make DS deactivate when the killer hooks someone else, you touch a gen, get healed, heal someone else, touch a totem or go into a locker because if you do any of those things you aren't tunneled anymore. I am so tired to lose games due to chasing the rescuer, loosing chase and finding the hooked guy again after 59 seconds.

Actually I am not. Survivors just DC and don't care anymore about their teammates. Btw while in the dying state you have 4 full minutes before you bleed out, it's perfectly counterable, and it's one of those strategies you must apply to try to win.

I mean... if you are just going to slug everyone and not even hook them even after everyone is down, you basically waste everyones time.

  • Ugh no. These are the kind of situations where you are really happy the dc penalty is gone.

  • Tested him first game with no addons. Seems to have a impact, I actually had to think before I used my chainsaw. I knew I had filled half of the overheat guage, and had to walk for a bit before chainsawing across the map, because I knew if I just rushed I would overheat in any chase I had at the end. To be continued with more testing.

  • Seriously, they almost ended him once already. I am really worried about this. I guess we spam RIP Billy again.

  • Oh no they are changing him again. Just no, he is fine where he is now.

  • Second chance perks are fine (for the most part). The problem is when they stack all second chance perks together for some really frustrating situations. Im not going to go into noed, thats another discussion on its own, but Dead Hard, Desicive Strike, Unbreakable, Adrenaline on four survivors is really frustrating. If you haven't played against a full SWF with this setup you might not understand why people complain about second chance perks. Lets think up of a scenario, imagine this match I am playing in:

Lets say I play killer. Runs around and find a Jake, swing and hit he is injured. He runs to the next pallet, looping it for a bit, makes a bad mistake that should be punished. Oh he has Dead Hard and makes distance to the pallet and drops it. I finally catch him and hook him. He gets saved and sits himself on a gen with another person. Now I manage to catch them off guard so I slug Jake, while Meg is running off. Generators pop in the distance. I have to eat a stun, let Jake escape my grasp and loosing all pressure I got or leave him letting him pick himself up. Now I run after Meg, Jake picks himself up from the floor. Same chase happens with Meg, loop, hit her once, loop, Dead Hard into a pallet. Another 2 gens pop in the distance. Hook meg, chase someone else. Meg gets saved, decides to sit on a gen. I come back and only see her. Generator is half way done. She jumps into a locker and I spot a Dwight at a jungle gym nearby the generator. What am I supposed to do? If I chase Dwight, she can keep working on the gen, if I open the locker, same story, eat the DS and she jumps off my shoulder. Lets say I pick her out of the locker, gets stunned, she runs away. I somehow manage to catch up to her, Dead Hard into a pallet. I mind game the pallet somehow, she goes down. I leave her slugged to force the Dwight off the generator. I injure Dwight. Looping on to the next jungle gym, I see Dwight makes a mistake and I swing and miss because of Dead Hard. Now Meg picks herself up, Jake and the Blendette I haven't even seen the whole match pops the last generator after Meg is up, Adrenaline proceeds to heal everyone back to full health and sprints away in my face.

Now most rank 1 matches aren't like this, you need to split map pressure and let people go if they run you for more than 15 seconds, but the point is having 4 different second chance perks rob you of all pressure you got in the span of a couple of seconds is frustrating beyond words. If you played killer and had a match like this you would understand why people complain about second chance perks.

  • If you implement that change, Hillbilly will cease to be. The whole point of this killer is map pressure and snowball potential. People were fine with his base kit before the rework, it was mainly the instant saw and crack Billy addons which needed nerfing. He is supposed to shine when survivors get caught out of position and punish over altruism. With the rework, his snowball potential is slightly nerfed due to the strongest addon combos being gone. Yes its still possible to chainsaw 4 survivors in a row if they all group together in a spot, but you have to be very precise and not miss any saws or you risk overheating. Again, having all 4 survivors in a single place is really questionable. If the game has turned into a slug game, crawl away and split up, over altruism against a instant down killer is a very bad idea.

  • Hawkins is more killer sided I would say. Most pallets are unsafe, a few are safe, and there is one know god pallet that doesn't always spawn. Balanced Landing helps alot on the map.

Shelter Woods is also slightly to the killers favor I would say. Lines of sight could be a double edged sword thou. No good place to consistently use Balanced Landing, limited amount of pallets, but most are decently safe. Unless you do the gens quickly, you risk running out of pallets and then its gg.

Rotten Fields is just what it is, unless you are a high mobility killer its terrible.

Only map I know Im really screwed is Ormond. Pallets galore, strong main building. Plenty of jungle gyms.

Dead Dawg is rough, main building has alot of walls to break, and two gens are pretty safe where you can see the killer comming from a mile away.

  • Please no. We have enough cool downs as it is on both killer powers and perks. Cool downs are already a questionable thing on other perks like Blood Echo and Thrilling Tremors etc. If infectious Fright is such a problem for you, run Calm Spirit. I mean, god forbid we try to change the meta from Decisive Strike, Unbreakable, Iron Will, Dead Hard, Adrenaline, Borrowed Time... I am honestly surprised to see so few people run it, considering the snowballing threat the perk creates for instant down killers.

With the "look down" animation I agree, I would be really happy if they changed it back, even tho I got already used to it, just move your mouse slightly upwards, it's annoying, but it does the job just fine.

I guess so. Just the charge loss from pallet stuns would be good for now tbh. I can live with new animations and the stupid scream but the old smooth animations would be nice to have again.

  • Yep, with engravings back, curving is possible again. Old billy is back except for his animations still being odd and loosing his chainsaw charge when stunned.

  • Finally, they listened. Thank you bhvr, thank you entity.

  • Its annoying yes. I don't understand why it was necessary to add to his basekit.

  • YES. Billy is still alive, praise the entity! Now we need to wait and see if we can get Spacebilly back

  • One of the worst killers in terms of fun to verse. Just by existing, he zones you and forces you to dodge constantly and loose distance. Only counter is break line of sight which is impossible on some maps. All DS games end up being we genrush him and get out of dodge asap. Also most just camp the hook making saves impossible unless you got borrowed time.

  • So I need to stay in the game because I got caught first and Bubba is insidious camping me in the basement. I think hanging on the hook is killing my team more than letting go of struggle tbh.

  • TBH I'm starting to think DC'ing is becoming a necessary evil. For context, I was in a game where the killer was just slugging everyone letting them bleed out, not picking up any survivor just to be toxic and waste everyones time. So my choice is to stay and waste my time getting nodded at by the killer or dc and take incremental time out ban. Players dcing is clearly a sign there is something wrong with the game, look back at old legion, we remember how fun it was being chased by a moonwalking no counter killer and the infinite mending exploit. As soon as the deep wound showed up in the hud the entire game basically dced or just ran up to the killer and wanted to be hooked.

  • Add colourblind support now. It should have been in the game yesterday yesteryear.

  • No. How about we fix the frustrating gameplay mechanics and designs which is causing players wanting to DC/suicide first hook in the first place? Attemting to kobe already has a punishment, and having a punishment for failing a struggle phase, really? So I get punished even more (on top of being on a hook) because my team are across the map hiding in bushes or the killer is face camping me and nobody has borrowed time to rescue me?

  • Sooo give me a reason to ever pick Death Engravings again, because I can't see any...

Edit* Give me areason to play Billy again, because you made him really boring with almost all addons

  • +1, can confirm, servers are laggy and auras are looking worse than before. Bring back the old auras please.
