Sucks. But there is always a counter to those types of perks and thats distortion. A very underrated perk but very very effective against killers that are sweaty for a chase.
-
Hopefully they will address more on the hud updates on what each survivor is doing during the match to help solo q players coordinate better. They said they would tell us next year how thats going or if it will be implemented which i hope they do put that in soon.
-
Ill never regret voting for david and dredge. Those skins are honestly the besting looking winter themed outfits period.
-
Thats not happening. Especially in December. The devs literally said on last dev update patch that its the final DEV patch of the year. The next one is in january. Dev updates are the only patches where they change anything dealing with characters base gameplay

Why does this game promote ragequitting so much? There are a bunch of people on these forums that admit to doing this, and there are a bunch of streamers admitting on recorded video to doing this, but I don't see BHVR reminded people that it's against the rules. The DC penalties obviously aren't good enough, and people can bypass the DC penalties by directly running towards the killer and giving up on hook. Ragequitting should be considered sandbagging the team, because that is what it ends up doing.
Is this game supposed to be so casual, that we don't want to stress people out by expecting them to play a game when they no longer find that game fun?
You can always report ragequitting on the unsportsmanlike behavior button in end game and go beyond by sending enough tickets. I just believe nothing will happen because they know there may be circumstances that ppl just dont want to play that match but not resort to dcing. Now i suspect they probably have done something if that same player keeps getting so many ragequitting report tickets with video evidences piling up that they will do something. But i never seen it though. One would suspect if you do that every match, you'd probably just quit the game by now lol

I feel like the quality of my solo q matches would increase dramatically if matchmaking threw the frequent ragequitters and the lone wolf survivors somewhere else.
Lone wolf survivors aren’t required to hide in a corner and trying to sneak out, but some people are doing this, and it feels bad being on their team.
And I don’t ragequit, so I’m not sure why matchmaking is sometimes placing me with survivors that ragequit at the slightest inconvenience.
Are there any plans for survivor matchmaking to go beyond just looking at MMR numbers, and consider additional things, like how often a player does unsportsmanlike behaviors?
Thats a bit of a reach when it comes to unsportsmanlike behavior involving rage quitting. There are ppl that probably just believe that the match is already lost even if they continue the match so they just wanna go next. Its also why they nerfed reassurance because you could potentially force a player to stay in a match when they dont want to stay.
Now when it comes to dc, they devs already have a proper penalty syatem for that.

Its getting to the point that she needs to be deleted. Same for nurse too. Lol
-
Nah. Im gonna keep being consistent and complain why feng and even the original 4 survivors keep getting more treatment.
How are you a company jeopardizing ur own latest creations by not supplying them with extra cosmetics early on. But instead give it to older survivors. Its like they purposefully dont want their newest characters to succeed or be played at all. And they do it specifically to characters they know that wont be played much.

Id just like to think felix is a very tall guy although every male is programmed to be the same height. He has a long torso and legs so its kinda unique for him.
-
Dont know but Cote said his story isnt finished in an interview so we may see him in the future.

For number 4, yes. People who hide and crouch around all match not contributing should receive very little BP and their MMR lowered, even if the killer gave them hatch/gate.
Why should a teammates mmr be lowered for something out of their control and managing to find hatch? You cant control if your team gets demolished by a good killer and you're the last one standing with 5 gens left. The game is already over and saving that one teammate wont change the outcome.

Pointing during a stun? How is that not bm? Its like haha take that. I do it sometimes too
Idk. I mean in that case, stunning the killer in the first place is bm because you caused them pain and more time. There really are players that take stuns personally whether its from head on, pallets, power struggle, DS etc.
-
Im pretty sure the survivor who's running to you get a notification of the perk on their screen if they're in distance of kinship activating. Less demanding than reassurance since it activates at like 16m i believe. But im down for more info being added for the team
-
Is pointing really bm? Now i understand tbagging. But i usually say come here when i stun or throw pallet because im asking to be chased more. Not to be mean. But i guess everyone interpret things differently i suppose

Lol I was flexing my fingers to rant about yun jin. Beat me to it 🤣
If you read into the backstories some of the survivors have dark sides. For example Dwight poisoned his boss, yun jin obviously, several have struggled with drug and alcohol addiction.
David king also sticks out, he's a pretty sadistic guy. I've read his tome 11 entries (which are hella feels) and I do love him as a character. But you have to admit, violent debt collecting, bareknuckle boxing. Breaks a fan's finger rather than just humor the dude for a few minutes. He's a pretty nasty guy to anyone but close friends. Entity could've easily morphed him into a killer, hell his backstory reads like it could be a killer's backstory more than some killers 🤣
Love that about the david part. Yea, the entity definitely couldve made him a killer. Just how the entity has altered deathslingers eyes to only see the survivors as anyone that has done him wrong in his life during the trials the entity couldve done the same with david with his enemies. But he's a different case because he's a man thats very good at giving hope to other people which the entity feeds off.

No one is denying that sometimes killers DC too, for stupid, selfish reasons. In my experience though it happens far, -far- less often, like even factoring in there being 4 survivors and 1 killer, killers still DC considerably-less than survivors.
The few times I've seen killers DC it's usually when they've lost multiple gens and are really struggling to get their first down.
Not surprised that killers dc less often than survivors. They have the power role in this game. And they can do many things to push the survivors to dc themselves whether its hard tunneling, slugging, camping etc.
And thats the reason why generally the community especially survivors have a more "show off" attitude when they cause a killer to dc while theyll most often be more disappointed when killers cause them to dc (for being tunneled etc and not playing long enough in the game)

Mandy has literally said she's pinned it to remind people of the importance that representation has. The post is up because it's about someone being happy about proper, good gay representation within media, and it clearly details exactly why it's important, hence why the post is still up. There haven't been any significant posts about it since to update threads to, so this is the most recent example we have of why representation in media is important.
Now you won't know this, because how could you, but for quite literally three and a half years before David King was officially confirmed gay (and for a month or so after that, too), there were bouts of what I came to call The Great Forum Representation Wars, where usual suspects would bring the exact same arguments to the exact same threads knowing neither side would change their mind. Essentially it was anti-rep vs pro-rep, and it would always end- every single time, with a moderator (be it Gay Myers, Rizzo, Washu, Mandy, or someone else) closing the thread and repeating that representation is important, that is BHVR's stance, and therefore the threads calling for no representation were pointless.
This post was pinned, in a way, to always give people easy access to it, to remind themselves and others of just why it's important to feel represented in media.
If you hate this story so much, and hate seeing it pinned, boo hoo. You can just unpin it yourself and move on with your life. But this post means a lot to people- absolutely OP and I'm almost certain other people too- and is a wonderful example to point to just in case we reach the Sixth Great Forum Representation War, and has still lasted less time than Orion's Wholesome DBD Moments Thread did.
So, once again:
pov you hate seeing people be happy.
And im so its still pinned up. Hope it stays for a long time. David's my main and always has been.
-
Sigh....another post pitting killers and survivors against one another. Why cant people just enjoy a casual horror game regardless of the outcome.
-
Easy question. The reason she is so popular is because her cosmetics carries her. That's it. But that can be her downfall. She literally only has 3 paragraphs of bio to her name for 5 years so if you ask a feng min main, "what do u like about her?" The only thing they can say is that she's a cute gamer. Thats it. Every survivor, with the exception of some license ones have more lore than her so shes a bland character in terms of depths to her personality and life, but her cosmetics and cute design is the only thing that helps her.
But hey, if you like feng, thats you. Some ppl dont focus on lore and just go by looks while others go for many other things that connects to them from their lore.
For example, i main david because he's the lgbt rep and before the announcement, he had a good background in terms of depth. A jerk with a heart of gold. Thats willing to put himself in danger for those he just met in the fog. And i gravitate towards characters like that. There is even a post about david in the forum thats pinned about someone having a special connection to david that the devs acknowledged it. That's how you handle a character imo that will have a more impact to the community than anyone else
-
I swear everytime i read a post about nurse having counter play and is not hard to play against, i giggle with so much satisfaction.
-
Not the best perk but i think its fine as it is. Plus it perfectly fits jake anyways. Although you are far away working on a gen, you have to be mindful on the placements of scourge hooks. So next, if a teammate is downed there, you'll be ready ahead of time and be strategic. Its pretty fun to use
-
I do find it strange that a character with a paragraph of a lore to their name for 5 years is carried only by their looks and cosmetics. Personally, i believe thats simply favortism from bhvr because they know it will give them more money when in actuality im sure they make most of it from license chapters and rift passes.
I just wish that other survivors get the same treatment. Heck, even felix, an introverted architect, of all ppl cosplayed. Other survivors can do the same as feng. So it concerns me that they are focusing too much on feng when other survivors need it more in order to boost their playability.
-
Play as you want. I play no mither daily so im usually tunneled anyways. But i want that. I want to be chased with NM because its tense and fun for my playstyle. Sometimes i dont last, but there are times i give long chases and hope my team can finish gens. So if you do resort to tunnelling, personally i wouldnt mind as a survivor. Just make sure ur having fun at the end of the day
-
The pick rate plummeted once it was reworked. Then ppl switched to sprint burst, lithe etc. But now, ppl are getting used to learning to use dead hard. Now the pick rate has increased it to be back to the number 1 used exhaustion perk. Although still not at a high pickrate % as it was b4 rework.
-
I think the rarest skin that the general public could get was the claudette earth day botany healer skin. It was available as a log in for one day in 2016 and never re-released again.
-
Im pretty confident they said they will adjust the percentage of the current NM recover timer with the new 45 seconds. By how much, no idea. They will either show it in new ptb or later in the future because they specifically didnt mention how much exponential will change as well and thats all it does. Pick yourself up.
