Also Tinkerer was given the Oblivious effect so any killer running that perk would counter a borrowed time safe for instance if they were camping or Proxy camping.

The effect of tinkerer is situational. Killers who can hide their tr via power are essentially given a green light to proxy camp, which is not an incentive in the right direction in my opinion.

I think the Frenzy buffs are more significant than people think.

Default FF duration is 10 secs. Speed was buffed from 5 to 5.2 m/s. Legion gained a whopping 2m buff over a full frenzy and they go as fast as a 115 killer with 3 stacks of PWYF, while being unable to down survivors and having to endure one of the longest stuns in the game at the end of their power. Very significant.

  • A power that:

    • makes you unable to down survivors while you're using it
    • stuns you if you miss
    • stuns you if you hit twice and empties your gauge
    • stuns you if you cancel it
    • loses half your gauge when you use your basic attack

BHVR: let's nerf the parts that are still usable.

  • Neon Neas across the world will rejoice.

  • No one:

    Literally no one:

    BHVR: we'll nerf Legion

  • Can he also get some medication for his cough?

Just go for the rescuer , lol , it's not like we have original bt

Personally, if I can, I always hit the rescuer because of DS anyway. I won't refrain from giving a quick smack to the unhooked, so they waste time to mend. This change doesn't affect me in that regard. If for whatever reason I have to focus the unhooked, I usually count down from 17 from when I get the notification of the unhook, if I were close by, so their endurance expires, while I try to zone them in an area where they can't loop me easily, if possible.

Lol anyone who complains about them finally changing deep wounds so BT isn't countered by freddy and stealth killers for existing just wants to get downs for zero effort.

I read the patch notes and, if I understood correctly, stealth killers can still counter BT to some extent. They can't cheese the down by hiding their terror radius and forcing the mend timer to go down, but they can still stealth camp and deny the endurance status to proc.

Probably because a certain streamer said wraith was better than billy and the 3rd best killer in the game (which is total bs imo).

'Certain streamer' likes to express a lot of questionable viewpoints just to stir the pot and stand out.

I doubt the Devs have any plans to nerf Wraith, it's not Pig or Legion, after all.

Before anyone suggests it will be fine, I will provide 2 examples that will make people cry:

    • Survivor = Borrowed Time, Decisive Strike, Adrenaline, Dead Hard, Object of Obsession
    • Killer = Hex:Ruin, Pop Goes The Weasel, Thanatophobia, Dying Light, Barbecue & Chilli

OoO is doodoo outside SWF, unless you're going for a solo Q last survivor escape build. Sub Unbreakabill for OoO and now you have the full sweaty build.

Killer looks amazing, especially with Forever Freddy add-ons. Enjoy the insta DCs, because the DC time-outs would be shorter than the actual match!

I'll add my broken combo as well: Sole Survivor/Distorsion, Iron Will, Calm Spirit, Q&Q, Dance with Me on P3 Claudette. Good luck to the Killer!

wait what. Where can i find this info!?!?!?!?!?! and most importantly... IN WHAT WAY ARE THEY GONNA DESTROY THEM AGAIN

BHVR: we buffed Legion! From here on out, their m1 attacks will also inflict deep wound!

Do they have to die on the hook for this to count? I’m thinking I’ll just use blood warden and run a survivor in loops until EGC is low, hook them, and then let all 4 die when the timer expires! 😈

I can only imagine the salt in pgc. Post again with your results!

First fix the reveal mechanics. Then we can start discussing what changes he needs.

I agree with this. However, if they fix the mechanics, then I would argue he doesn't need changes for the time being, especially with the new iteration of Kindred being introduced. I say this because I ran into an awful lot of GFs who just hide near the hook while in shroud.

Survivors also use 99ing to save allies from hooks and heal them up to be nice and safe without being on the EGC timer under pressure. If the only "counter" is to go to the end of the map to open a gate yourself, you're freely handing them the unhook and time to go to the other gate, or you're opening a gate in borrowed time range.

Opening the gate as killer is a surrender that almost guarantees forfeiting anything else you could get. It's equivalent to the not-slugged survivor just walking to the killer.

I never said that you should. I was replying to your points that survivors 99 to mess around and that EGC was introduced to encourage survivors to leave (see below).

Bloodwarden is a part of it but it certainly isn't the entire reason. Many survivors 99 the gates then run off back into the trial to mess with the killer, burn as much of their flashlight as possible, show that they can run around a safe pallet for as long as possible, and then instantly open the gate and leave when they're good and ready.

Blood Warden is not that threatening, and can be seen before even entering the gate which gives you plenty of heads up to avoid revealing yourself to the killer and you can just chill behind a rock for a minute.

EGC was designed to create pressure in the endgame in order to encourage survivors to leave as soon as possible, and you're lying to yourself if you think 99ing gates isn't at least partially motivated by circumventing that goal. It's like saying "oh us killers, yeah we ONLY slug for the 4k to protect against Left Behind!"

  • A couple observations.

    1) They are not perfectly comparable scenarios. In the case of the 99'd gates, the killer has the option to trigger EGC by opening the gate, if they're pissed about the survivors messing around. In the case of the slug to prevent the hatch for the last survivor, and I suppose you mean when the gates aren't powered which is a different scenario altogheter, then the survivors don't have the same option to force EGC barring a DC, which will get punished soon.

    2) Slugging is a perfectly viable and legal tactic. It doesn't mean it's a fun one, though. Nobody likes to get slugged just they don't like being on hook. You're essentially waiting until you get help, but you're not doing anything or very little gaming-wise. This is compounded by the fact that it takes 4 minutes to bleed out on the ground, which is boring as hell. If they lowered the bleed-out time to 2 minutes to match the sacrifice sequence, that would probably help to make these situations more bearable.

They won't. I really feel the Devs hate Legion at this point.

I really have to question if someone among the Devs suffers from PTSD from old Legion for facing them in-game. It would suggest an extreme level of pettiness and caprice, but I struggle to find any other explanation at this point to make sense of the additional unnecessary nerfs.

  • Camping and tunnelling, assuming solo Q, are dealt with with a mixture of (in order of priority):

    1) Gen pressure

    2) Meta perks (BT, DS, etc.)

    3) Game-sense

Yes, meta perks before game-sense, that's the sad truth of the balance right now.

Gen pressure is self-explanatory, it's the best way to punish stubborn killers. If you lose gen pressure, then even successful daring rescue attempts will be in vain when you're all on death hook with 4 gens to go. Game-sense is necessary to know when to go for a rescue and when to do something else. If you know the killer is camping, try to lure them away. If they're not interested, then don't get stubborn and do something else productive with your time. At the end of the day, if a killer wants that person or one person out of the game, they very often can accomplish that and there's little a survivor can do, unless they can get and give second chances, that's why meta perks are must in these situations and game-sense is no substitute.
