So killers let's hear the "Devs are so survivor-sided they don't care about us killers" talk. Come on. My morning cup of coffee doesn't taste bitter enough without it.
The only ppl who say tht have been playing the game for like 200 hours and or just has no skill in killer lol. Anyone whos a vet on this game knows both sides have advantages and disadvantages depending on different scenarios so to sum it up as one sided is so ignorant aha. But once you have discovered the DBD third eye you tend not to complain that much anymore. And if youve been here for a while (and really actually have) you'd realize they have nerfed perks and or abilities on literally both sides multiple times so 😐 theres whiny babies on both sides tht dnt know ######### theyre talkin bout lets leave it at that. To add on as well. Which ik a lot of posers are gunna be upset...if you have said "finally after years" you are obviously not playing that game or dont pay attention to any of the perks or dlcs. From when this first came out they have changed survivor perks and abilities ######### tons of times. Just thru the course of last year maps and physics of the game have changed to aid the killer lol. So to say "afters years" lol like you mean a singular year or months? Because it hasnt been YEARS fam.

Well must be some really strong pallets, strong perks with it or an amazing medkit lol
Mainly amazing med kit. No way am i talking about brown medkits or self care lol. Good med kit with botany works like almost every time. Especially mixed with dead hard to add the distance to the next jungle gym.
Edit: wanna add i only use this strat when im aiming for a lot of chase points because of challenges and so on.

I believe peanits clarified what is meant by healing. It's only you healing yourself so other survivors can heal you and so can perks.
You shouldn't heal behind a pallet anyway since there is virtually no chance you'll get the heal off in that chase anyway.
Lol ive gotten many heals off behind 2 pallets lol. Its not hard. But its good inner strength wont be effected since its one of my fav perk in the game with quick n quiet

@CashelP14 said:
Well played devs. I don't have a good enough picture to show it so can someone add it underneath please.
I just wish healing wasn't one of them. Seeing a killer can 100% still be tunneling u coming after u when trying to heal behind a drop pallet or if u quick n quiet in a locker with inner strength? U didnt actually lose the killer yet ur just avoiding another hit. This forces the killer to pick u up. We cant hop in lockers anymore if ur an inner strength user? Or will it stop once im fully healed? Because thatd be more fair other than that everything else is agreeable with.

Keep the item seems a little bit much. A score event for destroying items with FD or for leftover items after the trial seems easier too implement.

We all know how killer games go. Find your first survivor, he runs in circles for 3 minutes, all the gens get done and they escape with Adrenaline/BT/DS/DH. This has become so bad that there are only 2 killers (Sally and Rin) that can consistently perform well in Red Ranks if they want to double pip and retain their Rank 1. Even worse - Rin was broken last update so unless you were Nurse your pip was a heavily weighted coin toss. Some killers such as Caleb and Triangle Daddy can sometimes beat a strong Red Rank SWF, but can't compete if they use the Genrush Strategy.
This is why I think the game should try and cut down on this stupid running in circles strategy to win every game without thinking. Instead, we should focus on the Stealth aspect of the game. I think most survivors (who aren't pathetic bullies) can agree that the suspense of a killer almost finding you in a hiding spot is far more thrilling than running around a pallet 10 times rinse repeat. The fact that there are 10+ pallets which can each last from 30 seconds to a few minutes (Bloodlust takes way too long to kick in) pushes the "chase killer only" meta that has plagued so many players into only playing Rin Sally and sometimes Caleb.
We want to play Amanda and sneak up on survivors.
We want to play Anna and line up a sweet hatchet on a Zarina who didn't quite hide well enough.
We want to play Lisa and scare survivors with our Phantasms.
But we can't - because the meta right now is looping, and any killer that doesn't excel there isn't viable.

Bro..monto has said this. Puppers and ohtofu has said this idk about how many times...fair isnt double pipping n a 4k on the killer side. Its a VIDEO GAME both sides need a chance to "win" 2 kills is EVEN whoch if you played good that at the least an even pip whoch youd still keep ur rank 1. Idk y u think rank even matters if you have 2.8k hours. I have 3k hours n rank is the most pointless ######### ever. Not to mention it is sooooo easy to hit rank 1. As killer and survivor. Unless u r using a bottom killer with no add ons or trash perks. Not to mention u really think those are the only 2 killers who can counter loops??? I highly highly doubt u have anywhere near even 500 hours this sounds like a huge noob posts. Which most of these are. I never comment but this was so stupid to read. Looping is bad at where it is now
But not for the reasoms u stated. They blocked a lot pf exits for thos reason on these new map updates. If u played pld dbd forever loops were an actual thing. There are barely any endless loops left. My idea. Take the very few long loops off the maps make sum more pallets unsafe. All done. This is literally a cat chase mouse game n ur asking for little to know chase. Look at the names of the perks? The way the games designed? If u hate chasing so much play a different game. Yall just want a completely diff game at this point. Also u probably just suck. You can have 30k hours n still just be trash at a video game. Ive met ppl whos played the same game since they were kids and r still bad
Because they refuse to just get better and keep on finding fault in the game. N i cant stress this enough. To win in any game unless its candy land you need sum sort of skill. You need to EARN IT work for it. Which oof survivor needs a lil tweaking on tht part but as killer yall r fine. Its more of survivor being too easy than killer being too hard. Also u have to accept survivors will adapt. So many things have been taken away on the surv side to make ######### harder n every update they just fckn deal with it. Just play the damn game

I know a lot of people post on here ranting about the aforementioned, and say that they're done with this game cause they got salty about something. And it seems to annoy people a bit, so i'm sorry if this does, but I feel like I have an actual constructive reason for posting this. Devs, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, please enable mouse and keyboard on console. I actually posted about this a little bit ago but in that post I neglected to mention that not having it when I play is driving me half insane. I cant deal without it anymore. Even after the sensitivity buff, survivors are still able to dodge hits way too easilly. Im constantly getting 360'd out of hits when I shouldn't. Survivors on console always try to run behind your back, knowing that you will have a hard time hitting them. They will literally run behind your back and stay there so that you can't even turn to look at them. By the time you can see them again they're too far away to hit. So you pretty much have to blindly lunge behind you and oftentimes the survivor is able to dodge the hit by moving SLIGHTLY in the opposite direction, and you miss by a fraction of an inch, giving them ample time to get to another loop. This happens to me every single game. It's actually caused me to lose the game on several occasions, and I'm just done with it. And thats not even mentioning the fact that huntress and nurse are borderline unplayable without keyboard and mouse, and those are my fav killers, which rubs it in even more. I've played Nurse for at least a few hundred hours and I still struggle with her when I feel like I shouldn't. I actually had one of my worst games ever with her earlier, so you can probably imagine how pathetic I feel, having invested so much of my life into this killer, just to suck at playing her. I LOVE this game and i dont wanna stop playing, but I'm not going to play a game in which your opponents can use technical limitations against you to work in their favor. (limitations that they themselves do not suffer from, since from what i've heard survivors are not hindered from playing on controller.) It's not fair, plain and simple. I will gladly go against SWF death squads, I'll eat DS like it's candy, and I will gladly die to NoED every other game because I refused to do the smart thing and GTFO cuz I had to try and save my teammates. But I feel like this is a fair place to draw the line. So on principle I'm putting DBD down for now. And if the devs are reading this, please do the right thing. There's no reason that console players shouldn't have the same playability as someone on PC. I probably sound like a killer main, but I'm not, I play both sides. It's just that this issue doesnt hurt survivors at all really. And sorry if this seems like i'm salty and complaining, but this is something that needs to be said. The fact of the matter is that survivors have an inherent advantage on console that wasnt intended, and they should not have. Enabling keyboard and mouse requires pretty much no effort, and if the devs won't do that then I'm afraid I have no business playing this awesome game anymore. Losing games because I have to play on a controller completely ruins my fun so there's really no reason to play anymore.
Out of everything that's wrong with this game...this is the reason you chose to not to play. Even if your request was made you'd still have. About a hundred bugs you're playing with. Lol. But hey if thats your tick. 🤷🏾

It really depends on how one defines 'winning'.
Some feel that 4K is winning, others feel that earning more BP is more viable.
I prefer the latter. The more BP, the better in my opinion.
Tunneling can end the game faster, but nets you less BP on average.
Tunneling, camping, etc. Is pretty much useless if you want more BP.
Slugging helps though (survivors can complain all they want, but being slugged is STILL better than getting hooked in most cases). It can extend that length of the match and create more opportunities to get BP.
I usually average 50K+ per match as killer. Even if a survivor escapes.
Agreed. All these noob players 4k with moris get a dpip n less points n see it as a win. Literally how. Lol it even says entity displeased dont see that as a win.

@bubbabrotha said:
If you are playing to win, which I am, tunneling makes sense. By removing a link, you are making the rest of the survivors do more work, which makes patrolling gens more succesful. By tunneling someone out of the match you are making mid to late game much easier. I don't think it's the nicest strategy, but if you play to win that isn't an issue. I guarantee that person you refused to tunnel isn't going to care if you have fun, they want to win as well. It's a free for all. That's why I'm ok with scummy tactics on both sides. And I never play survivor. If you want to bodyblock, flashlight spam, or the like go ahead. We're all trying to win in the end.
Completely depends. The build the map the killer the survivors. Im not tunneling with thanat on a legion makes literally no sense.

@slim0b said:
A lot of scummy tactics have existed in this game for as long as it goes back.
Tunneling was acknowledged and a surge of anti-tunnel perks were created and some have already been here since the beginning.
Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Breakdown (regardless of it being an awful perk), Adrenaline and Iron will also function as anti-tunneling perks in desperate need, but we can leave iron will out due to it being probably the most useful overall perk in the game since it helps with many aspects.
Slugging also has it's counters, and a perk even introduced in the last patch.
Unbreakable, Soul Guard, Tenacity, and yes, flip-flop.....
The only effective Anti Gen-Rushing perks we have as of now with no retarded requirements are Pop Goes the weasel and Corrupt Intervention, Corrupt intervention is simple to understand, less gens early game = get a hook with 1 or no gens completed.
Pop, You're rewarded for hooking a person a 25% slowdown to ONE gen. It's actually great since 25% is 20 seconds which is a lot, it's to one gen only, sure. But the more hooks the more you get it. Simple and straight to the point.
Old ruin was passive and had great effect, instead of 3 gens being completed in 80 seconds of the game it would take 100 or 105 seconds, enough to push you off a couple of them or at least 1. Best case scenario survivors actively look for it early-game instead of doing gens.
Here are perks that some survivors might overestimate and mention as anti-genrushing below, but they really aren't...
Thrilling tremors: Blocks what's NOT being worked on, and if you play killer you know this is a tracking perk not a gen slowdown.
New Ruin: Punishes gens NOT being worked on, again if they work it they'll finish it.
"Thanatophobia": Probably the MOST overrated killer perk, assuming you're continiously injuring with it you'll be at 3/4 injured survivors, which is 12% slowdown. 12% slowdown to gen speed is Horrible, adding only 9 seconds, what can you do with 9 seconds? Hook a survivor?
Dying Light: Another overrated perk, and honestly dumb in design. Let's say you get to 7 stacks by deliberately ignoring the obsession, 21% slowdown.
But wait, this 21% slowdown does NOT apply to obsession, so you may think, ok let's just get rid of the obsession!!
Getting rid of the obsession de-activates the perk....
Ok screw it, let him be, I'll just find someone else. But by this dying light only applies to 2 PEOPLE, because you're chasing one of the 3 people it applies for. And the perks already gains its stacks by hooks if you're at 7 stacks by ignoring the obsession you MUST have killed someone by now. So it only applies to 1 person.
12-24% slowdown for 1 or 2 people, is it really worth it?
Surge: Only affects gens in 32m, but let's say you're in 32m, thats 6 extra seconds..... WOW
Dead man's switch: No possiblity for synergy with other perks since blocking gens causes ZERO regression, even if you have new ruin or if you damaged it, survivors must touch and let go after you hook so this only works if you have lots of mobility (Billy or nurse) OR you can intentionally make people let go (doctor or freddy). But these aren't the only 4 killers in the game are they?
Survivors will just get back to the gen after you finish downing the survivor near the gen and finish it while you pick him or her up, in the exact same time he would have if he didn't let go.
NOED: NOED doesn't really counter gen-rushing. But it punishes it. No killer should be forced to run this perk in fear of getting gen-rush matches, and I say this should be a base-kit perk because totems directly become an essential secondary objective
Point is, we need to make changes to counter gen rushing. Implementing more perks for the killers that focus mainly on gen speeds is not what I suggest since killers shouldn't have to rely on a perk (like old ruin), while you're on a cooldown bar spree go for gens too, 40 seconds cooldown between working on 1 gen to the other, you can heal in it, do totems, but just not gens.
My point is that if you get queued against half decent survivors, okay at looping, don't waste time, and know what their main objective is, you're in the shlt.
Im tired of noobs hitting red rank n then thinking they know what they're talking about. You didn't even list dying light or thanat as a good slow down ur obviously a toddler within the gaming timeline i cant even take this post seriously...simple u r bad get better. So many people killers and survivors blame the game its just you sucking. Unless its an actual bug or a perk that cant be countered your complaint is just u being trash. But even stating this youll just keep complaining argue and not get better. Even thos itll come from someone who has like 1000 plus hours in the game. Also if you were here 4 years ago you should know gen times has been slowed down about 5 different times already.

I never even mentioned getting stunned. Breaking chase will not always yield another survivor within the span of 30 seconds to a minute. It's funny you act like you're good but it seems you've never actually played this game before.
Ive played the game for 3 years. I dont whine about perks. Unless its excessive. Like old DS. Even ruin didn't have to be changed. Ppl just suck. N u said dead hard into a pallet ok they dead hard n threw the pallet down now break the pallet. Ppl act like breaking a pallet cost 3 gens. Your build is trash or you cant use your killer properly. Unless you are using clown or legion or meyers or maybe trapper this shouldn't be a complaint. Literally who tf are u using that cant counter dead hard naturally? Youre just bad. I rarely rarely get dead hard. Even freddy can counter dead hard with a corner snare like Jesus learn the game. Good luck getting better.

dead hard cannot be countered when used to its fullest extent. Like I said, it is able to be countered if the survivor using it is bad. You are at a jungle gym, you moonwalk fake and the survivor doesn't read it properly, you go to hit the survivor, they dead hard into the pallet. What was going to be a down and adding map pressure now just single handedly lost you the game as it will take a good 30 seconds at the very absolute least to catch that survivor, if they are not a bad player, that alone just bought them 1-2 minutes.
Balancing a skill around bad players is bad game design.
how do you get stunned unless you sucked enough to be baited into a pallet... Why not break chase ultimately you just suck or arent using your killer correctly. This explains the player base now. The fact you think dead hard is honestly impossible to counter unless the survivor sucks just shows you needa practice. Watch some vets or plays is what i recommend. Because if no vet killers are complaining theres most likely no issue. But if you wanna blame a perk and not your play style go ahead.

lithe has a requirement, and that requirement usually isn't game breaking, as the game has algorithms that govern the spawning of windows.
What makes dead hard especially unfair is that the killer can read a survivor, outplay them, and not be rewarded for doing this. Dead hard does not teach players to get good. What makes dead hard even worse is what you pointed out in your post, there are 3 more perks survivors can run with dead hard.
In an ideal scenario, a mistake should be punished. Perks like dead hard do not punish mistakes. There is no counter to dead hard, other than relying on the player that's using it to be bad at the game and not aware of their surroundings. When you combine multiple perks like iron will, dead hard, unbreakable, and decisive strike, it can take a killer minutes to take down one survivor, which will lose the game. The only reprieve the killer gets is that thankfully the vast majority of survivor players are extremely terrible, but when the killer gets a group of good survivors, the stark imbalances of this game are elucidated.
If you can't counter play dead hard you just suck. That's my opinion. Assume every survivor has dead hard its not difficult. Ive been doing it for 2 years. Also again lithe can be combined with other perks head on too. They all can do the same thing. And it has a cool down. So its not like they can dead hard you two times. Also there are potatoes tht use dead hard. Dead hard into trees. Dead hard too soon and so on. N again the perk is literally bugged. If you complain about a bugged perk then im sorry your doodoo. I dont care if i get incoming hate. I said what i said. Oh also the cant counter it. What killers do you people use? Because half of the killers have abilities that can naturally counter if you have common sense. Huntress spirit billy bubba pyramid head nurse learn how to play the game instead of calling everything unfair or broken this is why we have such crap players now.

I think in some situations is dead hard too strong and bad designed. For example where people get more distance for a vault /pallet or overall to get into a pallet/vault. I mean as a M1 Killer your chase duration will tremoundesly increase. Moreover other Killer with there ability will get problems too like Oni.
It ist just hard frustating if 4 people have dead hard and punishes you for no reason. You do everything good as Killer and lose a complete chase and maybe all your pressure because of one Perk with nearly no counterplay.
If people know how to use dead hard you will have a really bad game.
All in one:
Dead hard has a bad design because you get often punished, multiply times in one game for no reason and everyone knows the game doesn´t forgive that good for Killers.
This makes no sense. The point of lithe is the same thing to get to another loop. Are you going to complain about lithe... And theres windows all over the map and within every loop. You literally loop until you cant loop no more lithe to a different loop. This is the point of the perks...u honestly think dead hard is the only get away perk to lead into another loop or pallet? Quick n quiet and head on is the same thing. Stun n then go to a different loop. Your trash survivor if dead hard is the only perk u use tht way. Not to mention dead heard is bugged right now so ur complaining about a perk thats not even fully usable all the time.

One thing I’ve never fully understood is why so many people complain about being matched with or against players with ranks either higher or lower than theirs. Isn’t that how every online game works? Another multiplayer game I play a lot is TLOU and the maximum rank you can be is 999. You’ll never find a lobby of just 999’s. It’s always mixed. I’m 999 and I’ll sometimes have a rank 1 on my team. Friday the 13th is exactly the same. I’ve never seen a game group people together based on what level they’re at. So why do so many people expect that from DBD? Is it because they don’t play any other games and aren’t used to this being the norm?
Simple its a 4v1 not an actual multiplayer it makes a difference. So like the person above said red rank against new person. New person now quits dbd. And on the other hand 3 new survivors getting carried by devotion 20 rank 1 and then devotion 20 rank 1 dies they escape and they play tht way till they hit red rank n thats why we have a bunch of pure ######### red rank survivors now. Also the multiplayers i play they usually match u up within your ranks. The only time theres a nooblet and a prestige is when the prestige brings the nooblet with them. But like ranked uncharted. Ranked gears. Ranked cod. Ranked battlefeild ranked paladins all have ranks around your rank.
-
This sounds like a Nooblet question or a i never get good survivors question. But u said ur on ps4 so probably the 2nd one. Like 5% of the red ranks on ps4 are actually good and have common sense. They aren't using the flashlight right. Also using a flashlight isnt toxic. Having swf flashlight chain you like a human centipede is toxic. Nothing in the game is toxic unless its excessive. Example proxy camping isnt toxic camping isnt toxic slugging isnt toxic as long as its for a valid reason. Same with survivors using items and blinding isnt toxic. Half this comment was directed to the butthurt nooblets calling it toxic. Anyone who mains one side of the game is usually a butt hurt nooblet while vets play both sides and understand the issues of both and like theres like 5 things in this game that are genuinely toxic. Also you must have bumb ass headphones if you cant hear a survivor moving in the grass. Unless they have iron will on which is broken right now you should be able to hear em.

I think the stealth Killers are better on console because it's a bit more likely that you'd miss them because of the lower quality.
I wasn't sure about Freddy because the only console version I have is Nintendo Switch and, well, he isn't there.
But every Killer that needs precision of any kind is worse on console because you can't be very precise on a controller.
Why did I make this? I don't know.
Billy, nurse, huntress im 100% positive are worse on console. The other ones i have never used on PC or seen a streamer use one on console and then PC. So i honestly don't know. Spirit...idk why she'd be worse on console she doesn't aim or have a weird hit box and so on. She just walks and hits. So idk how her phasing would be any different on console.

Tell Me that when I fully heal a slugged survivor from downed to healthy in less than 10 seconds against a killer with sloppy, thana and dying light.
They said "technically increase healing speed" they're 100% correct. Botany we'll make itfor example increase healing speed. Autodidact doesn't, it works around skill checks and tokens and doesn't increase speed just if you hit the skill checks.
