Luckily, it has never happened to me as survivor (knock on wood). It's no different from looping around a hooked survivor.
If anything it's worse than that since all you have to do as the killer is just technically facecamp because of that survivor and you got 2 for the price of 1.

I wouldn’t complain
because if l am looping you round a hooked survivor, you were probably camping them in the first place.
or l dive bombed and therefore deserved to be camped.
On a side note l haven’t come across to many killers that would pick up a downed survivor next to a hooked survivor anyway.
In my case, I hooked, pop near gen, saw scratchmarks, turned back, survivor let go of hooked survivor, I hit survivor, she tried doing a 1 for 1, I had stbfl with 4 stacks, she was my 5th stack by the time I was done with the cooldown she was under the hooked survivor.
So basically she didn't let me leave that area before she tried saving.
And I was picking up everyone, there was 3 4th year cakes and 1 bps so I wanted hook points.

I've had this happen so many times today. Then they wonder why they're slugged all match.
I almost bleed someone out like that well 1/3rd and she would've died because she kept on doing it.

Survivors: *do this*

Lol
I was called a fa---t killer for that by fat I don't mean fat I mean the other word that is hate speech

I've had this happen twice to me as killer. To prove a point, I stood there until they moved. Long story short, they crawled out from under the hooked survivor.
I also did it so they stop, I had stbfl 5 stacks with the obsession on hook but some survivors will just stay under and then complain.
-
Oh yeah they are making it extremely easy because of that but then complain to the killer.
-
Currently thanks to the pandemic I've had a lot of free time almost a year, I don't go to school and I always finish the rifts.
But I do believe the grind for the rift needs to be less since most people buy separate passes example (r6s, cod, etc)
Most games that have passes have a double xp weekend and stuff except dbd which is the only thing I complain about it.
Hopefully the devs get into the sweet spot of the rift time not just 70 days especially when it takes that long and to answer the question.
Yes, this extension changed a little bit for normal people that do have to work and or school.

I absolutely despise the experience playing as them with a controller now.
I’m still bewildered how I even got the Adept at all. Luck I suppose.
The high volume of missed pounces because of how easily Victor is dodged by survivors is mentally breaking me, and I regret investing BP beyond simply unlocking their teachables.
I’ve watched videos.
I’ve taken on board advice after advice on these forums.
I practice. I be patient.
Nothing works reliably. Survivors in red ranks are dodging pounce last moment 90% of the time, or hug a tight, tiny loop that Victor can do nothing about. Kick kick kick. Crush crush crush. Some games are STILL games where ZERO pounces land at all, making Victor entirely pointless. I am sick of it, and have only persisted due to the delusion that the experience would get better eventually, and that my money wasn’t wasted.
If you are someone coping just fine with The Twins with either a PlayStation or Xbox controller, good for you. More power to you.
But for me these abysmal, frustrating killers are going in the trash 🗑
Same, since I rarely run meta perks and I play against a twins most likely I will be slugged, I already hate them with a passion and I also got the adept.
I prefer spirit and freddy over twins any day.
-
I do want a buff for distortion but when you think about it, isn't the point of running it not to hide but to find the killer's perks?
That is how I run it, if I pass through a totem and 1 stack goes then undying, if I'm healing close to the killer and 1 stack goes then nurses, if he hooked and 1 token goes then bbq.
I do wish there was a buff but currently as it is now it is really strong when paired with OoO especially with the new ruin/tinkerer/undying meta.
-
The thing is, this game was scary but the longer you play you won't get scared anymore.
I'm also a big fan of horror games especially fatal frame, silent hill, old RE.
But after getting used to horror stuff you just get used to scares and won't be afraid anymore.
I just don't think dbd is that kind of horror game and will never be.
-
I think a lot of my poor chainsaws with billy, Idk why but after the nerf I can't get used to curving etc I crash on the minor stuff or walls very often now it's as if I was never a billy main before just a random billy user
-
Because of the bad rank reset, I wish it went back how it was a few months ago, not 2016 rank reset but the other one.
Basically now since it only resets one color everyone who plays gets to be a red rank player.
-
I thought I was going insane because I've been seeing this on every match that I play as survivor, good to know it's just another bu..... I mean feature.
-
^ I agree with Lyfe right here.
Just bring nurse with IF and slug ezpz.
-
My solo build is usually the same one I use when I play with my brother.
Wglf,BT,bond and adrenaline.
But I also sometimes use stuff like.
Vault build + IW and SB since if I get chased survivors won't be scared of touching gens which in solo queue is a blessing since everyone is allergic to doing gens.
-
Not starting on pc is my worst regret.
I had all killers up to demo P3 all perks at the time on ps4.
At the beginning of 2020 I moved to pc and have to re do everything again.
Same goes for some survivors, I had like 3 P3 survivors all perks and most had all perks but with no prestige.
-
This is what I've been thinking about prestige and how to make it slightly better and also reduce the grind.
On regular and P1 you start getting T1 perks up to T3.
On p2 you start getting T2 and you can get T3 as well.
On p3 you start getting T3 perks instead of having to waste more bp for all perks.
You could also keep event stuff like cakes/flashlights/medkits etc.

I was playing last night and I had a person on the hook saw someone was going for the unhook. I'm playing Pyramid Head so I can hit both the unhooker and hooked survivor with my power so I might as well defend the hook. After I down both of them I spot another survivor nearby so I slug both as both had been recently hooked and could have DS up.
After I down the 3rd survivor and hook them, I spot the 4th survivor around. The game basically ended there. All 4 survivors were around my hook at that point.
Of course I get called a camper in the end game chat.
Sorry to hear that, some survivors just never play the other side so they don't know what is happening there are some that do play killer and understand what is happening.
-
Great, as someone who rarely used moris I think this change was great.
When I play survivor I hated getting tunneled to get mori'ed 2 min into the match.
-
Remember the bug that she had what was it? Last patch? That was perfect and I wish that would've stayed.
-
Rank currently for me means = harder time to get adept and feel like depipping just to get it easily since the rank reset is a joke.
-
Survivors back then didn't abused strong stuff it was very common for people to play against each other regularly since everyone was connected to the same server so it was easier to keep an honor code.
Back then you never saw 4 survivors running the same meta perks it was possible but not that much unless a sweaty squad.
Even if the game is improving and "helping" killers there is always something that helps survivor.
Less bugs, that is for both sides but here are some things that most likely will never get fixed, Nurse bugs, Billy bugs, burning wraith/nurse.
Remember 7 blink nurse? Remember 5 blink nurse? Remember 3 blink nurse? No one uses those addons anymore since 3 blink nurse now is unfun granted she had to get nerfed because of how busted she was.
Billy, phantom saws, bumping into invisible stuff.
Burning wraith with a flashlight boom 5 sec stun animation because someone brought a flashy.
Remember all those nerf Noed posts? Still to this day is continuing.
Everyone can hold M1, this is something I personally dislike a lot since it's true.
OoO before when undetectable became a thing which you may know, it was horrible against stealthy killers especially ghosty and piggy.
OoO now "data shows that OoO users die a lot" most killers hate this perk and if you play killer and love it you either are a only spirit user or a godlike nurse.
Balancing killers, Pig got nerfed, billy got nerfed (which the only things he needed was addon rework and didn't need the new animations and fov), oni got nerfed in 1 week then got brought back but without the super flick, nurse got nerfed and got buggy, spirit got nerfed (she needed it as well and still does more) ph got changed and got buggy, legion got changed (granted it was needed since they were extremely annoying to play against).
From my experience, killer can't use meta perks or will get shittalked but survivors are free to use all meta perks.
I agree that it is easier now than before for killer and harder for survivor but you are being biased by saying that only killers complained back then.
-
I just think that killers are tired of being called ######### and being shittalked for playing killer.
Every single match there is always a salty survivor that can't take an L, why? Who knows.
-
I was done with the rift 2 days ago, I didn't knew it was extended
-
Were you playing on midwich against an addonless wraith? And a combat straps pig?
Sounds familiar but it might not be me, if it was me, I apologize I was having a very rough night against OoO every match.
-
*Hostage dr and old forever freddy flashbacks*
No thank you, those matches were the most boring thing out there.
Perfect matches should last 10-15 tops.
Queues taking longer isn't because of fast matches or etc, it's just one side having more players than the other.
Less killers = more wait time.
-
I suggest not using IF on huntress, if you want to practice more of her use what I use or something similar.
Iron maiden, bitter murmur, bbq and whispers/nurse's calling.
IF on huntress sound good on paper but it's not worth it, you either see the other survivor or not because of her low TR.
-
Just like I said in another thread, not all survivors and killers are toxic.
Sometimes they will try baiting you to follow them.
I suggest learning how to not give a crap, slug when you want to and feels like the best idea, show them that you will do anything to win.

Maybe reduce the time it takes to switch from Victor to Charlotte? I have to wait like 3 seconds to play the game every ~45 seconds and it feels really bad.
This is what I think as well, make the switch from victor to charlotte faster since locking a survivor in a locker is 10 seconds 3 to change that gives you 7 seconds which is nothing.
-
Just like every team is not a swat team, not every killer is toxic but hey a lot of survivors believe that every killer main is toxic.
-
You mean to tell me there aren't bots yet?????!?!
-
I'd be down for a Billy ugly sweater

I didn't hate moris as a survivor, If I got hit with one when I was on death hook I didn't care. it was when I was found first, someone unhooked me and I was tunneled out of the game in less then 5 mins that upset me. now that's less likely to be a thing with moris.
as a killer I've only ever used them on killers with cool kills., the lame ones I don't even bother
Yeah when I play survivor and I see a mori on second hook, I'm more than happy with the outcome, I also hated getting farmed and into mori.
And same, I only used cool looking moris example, oni, ghostface, demo.
But mostly I used moris for dailies which I haven't gotten in a very long time.

I’m aware. But it’s a very common belief here in the DBD community that the meta is the only good thing a given character has in this game.
”I only small pp/Ruindying because everything is trash” is something I hear a lot.
Oh, I may have misunderstood.
Yeah I agree some people just think that you can only play with meta perks, if no meta perks then "I already lost" which from my experience it actually damages players more than it helps them.
I have ruin undying, I'm good to go!!! *They break both totems asap* "I already lost"
I have DS!!! I will play dumb to use it!!! *Complains about tunnel endgame*
Some people just think that Meta perks is the only way to win which is a common mistake these days imo.
Some people try to avoid improving at the game, something that I say when I use semi or full meme builds "I got outperked not outskilled"
-
Meta and good isn't the same.
Meta stands for most effective tactic available.
Good is well just good.
Basically they are using the best they have to win.
As soon as one meta is outdated another one will come out.
-
It all depends on who you use.
But most come down from survivor mistakes, they don't look back? Take a shortcut, they look behind? You can try to mindgame.
No exhaustion was shown? Expect dead hard, learn how to read scratchmarks well, I know many killer mains who can't read them well.
Abuse your red light, get bbq not only for the double bp but for info as well.
If a survivor wants to be chased where there are no gens, don't go unless it's a dead zone which ain't uncommon these days.
Make a build for X killer not for all of them except ruin + undying that works for everyone.
Look for crows, I can't believe people don't know this, I understand survivor mains not knowing but killer mains? Free tracking, if a crow is leaving survivor is right there if crow is coming back 15 seconds have passed since survivor was there.
Since you are a survivor main, think of what could work against you, believe it or not that works amazing.
Hopefully something from what I said helps.
-
I honestly prefer new Freddy over old camping tunneling dying light Freddy.
Old Freddy as you know it was hard for new players since stealth wasn't an option and also the penalty for being asleep.
I think there are only a few things that should make new Freddy more "skillful".
1. Remove snare spam.
2. Let bt work when asleep.
That should at least help in some way I think.
-
I run MoM more than I run DS and MoM tends to be useless, I just want an obsession in the match.
Good to see you are also finding ways to play around OP.
I've been doing the same with exhaustion perks except head on but I mean it's just for fun and not to win tbf.
-
Idk how other killer mains are but I beg to differ, I love to have challenging opponents not boosted survivors.
And here is something that can work for you mainly since Idk who you use, use stbfl and slug, they will regret it when they try to "bully" you.
And there are less killers now a days because most of our bugs never get fixed, example nurse crow sounding bug, still there, been like 2 years maybe more.
Myers bug took a very long time to get fixed.
killer takes more time to learn since there are a lot of killers and ways to play them, many killers will have horrible times while playing and probably quit or quit that side then survivors complain that queues take forever them not realizing that it's them bm'ing the reason why there are less killer players.
-
Nothing, last thing the community decided it was balanced was Billy's basekit, now he is nerfed.
So nothing, I don't want fun and balanced killers to get nerfed.
-

If you're in first hook, I'm running to you, you attempt to yeet trying to steal my unhook points, I'll just wait till you reach second stage.
I did this to a Dwight, and he decided to sabotage the game and help killer find me.
Sandbag, clicking flashlight in my direction, and the killer took his side without any knowledge.
Next time I see someone try to yeet when they see me coming for save, I'm just going to turn around and leave you on hook.
Leave them on hook then if that is what YOU want, you are just making it harder to win for your team.
I love how before trying to escape when someone was close was a funny and normal thing to do, now you guys consider it toxic what happened?

I bet it was hell, I'm still working for it, most of the time I try to do 11 hooks and still get gold, I'm starting to slowly give up on that adept since it's making me miserable.
It is by far the hardest adept, not because of the twins but because of the emblem bugs.

It seems like whenever I'm in an open map I always have the worst time. I can't do anything because the line of sights are far away. An tips to help play against really experienced nurses?
The only tips I know against very experienced nurses is lose LOS and DH.
There is nothing you can do against an amazing nurse.
-
You are not supposed to win, only survivors are allowed to win from my experience.
When you hook someone, you have to go to a corner of the map allowing unsafe rescues.
When they try to 360 you are supposed to miss your hit even if it's impossible to miss.
You are not allowed to run perks like bbq, stbfl,tt, corrupt, pop, surge (I got someone complaining for using it), enduring, spirit fury, whispers, nurse's calling, undying, ruin, surveillance, thana, sloppy.
You can't play freddy, slinger, trapper, spirit, oni, ph, billy, clown, nurse, hag, huntress because all of them are easy mode.
They can BM you can't, not allowed, reportable offense right there.
Don't put map offerings, they can send you to whichever map they want.
Respect the 4%, free hatch if they 4%.
When you lose, make sure you escort them out, they don't know how to leave the match without you there.
Never slug, if you have stbfl and you want a free stack of it and you are near the hook if they don't have bt you are supposed to willingly eat the DS because you tunneled.
-
@Sluzzy said:

What if it a stealth killer hiding waiting for you to touch a gen and then tunnel? Why should a perk be disabled for doing the objective? Very counter-intuitive. Killer perks are awarded for doing their objective, failing to do their objective, the survivor doing the objective...
You are not being tunneled if you are doing your objectives.
DS is a great anti tunnel perk when it works like that, not abusively which is the way people use it.
-
Freddy will get an overheat bar for placing snares, if he places tok many he will get a cramp and will not be able to use his teleport for 5 minutes.
