Survivor have the option to cleanse or not, when ever they want during the game.
But IMO hex should be change to something like what's in this video:
Yes, but that's the problem. If you refuse to cleanse Totems, that's on the Survivors. No Hex Perk needs nerfed because a Survivor chooses to do something other than cleanse Totems. If you want the Hex gone, cleanse Totems. If you want the Hex to stay in the game because doing generators is more important to you, then you suffer the consequences.
I just don't understand how people can say "Survivors can choose to do what they want" then complain about how Hexes need changed. If you choose to leave the Hex in the game, that is your choice. Don't complain about it later and say it needs changed because you don't want to spend 20 seconds cleansing a Totem that's lit up, crackles quite loudly, and is visible from halfway across the map.

True and since you gain token on unhooks then by 7 token you stop hooking survivor and kill them right away.
If you wanna change the perk to 32m range and add 1 token then the speed boost should be permanent.
1: +1-2-3% speed
2: +3-4-5%
3: +5-6-7%
4: Exposed Status Effect
5: +7-8-9%
6: Mori
Gain a token if you're 32m away from a unhook (unhooking yourself would now give a token too)
The effect persist until the hex is broken.
either that or
1: +1-2-3% speed & all actions
2: +3-4-5%
3: Exposed
4: 5-6-7%
5: Mori
A survivor who know the game should be able to identify the speed increase and thus know that Hex: Devour Hope is in the game so the bone hunting start sooner.
The bone hunting should start at the beginning of the match, regardless of what Perks are being run by the Killer. If you don't want to cleanse Totems, then you get to suffer the effects of them. DO THE BONES.
imo, most of the newer Hexes aren't powerful enough. They are nice Perks, but they seem to fall powerwise in between regular Perks and Hexes. They need more teeth to them, because if it isn't Ruin, nobody is going to cleanse.

I'd give her a bath, and maybe a haircut. She really needs to take care of herself better...
-
If you mean Escape, not very often, maybe 20% of the time?
My win though is if I can get solid BP and either safety or pip. I'll take the death if it means getting one of my team members out the door. So hook swapping is perfectly fine.
Team escaping, even when I die? Maybe 30-35%. Still a bit low, but she is really easy to play and people have made almost an altar out of how difficult she is to counter so now they are afraid before the match really starts if it's a Spirit. It doesn't help the little whine babies who DC or suicide when it's her. Trying to 3v1 a Spirit is NOT going to end up well.
-
I've seen too many Megs run at the Killer, clicky-clicky with their flashlight, get hit within 5 seconds and DC.
Might be a stereotype, there are a lot of good Meg players, but it happens sooooo often... Shame really.
-
Picked up some new Killers because of the sale, get some really awesome people who notice that I am not comfortable with them so they don't get sweaty with Looping and all that. Have had a lot of really fun matches with good Survivors. Especially when they realize I just want to chase them and try stuff out. They will chase for a bit, take the hit, then someone swaps in for them so we can keep going. Had a helluva good time in one match with a couple Dwights, a Meg, and a Leon. Everyone almost maxed out, except for me on Sacrifice oc. 5 Cakes too, so it was definitely worthwhile.
It just seems off though because usually when I'm trying to learn a Killer I get the sweatiest douchebags around who realize that I am new to at least that Killer so they bully the hell out of me. Bodyblocking, flashlight blinds all over, just absolute ######### when all I want to learn is how the hell does this power work. This Event has been a blessing since I've found a couple new Killers I'll want to Prestige and level up now.
-
I think they need a Chapter that is purely about bug smashing and optimization. While it might not make money, it would probably bring a ton of older players back who quit because of these issues with the game. Too many companies think money, money, money, then when the game fails, it's because "reasons" rather than the fact they didn't keep the game healthy overall.
Then maybe some more new ones, but currently, adding in more broken things to an already buggy game is just going to make it worse. They really need a full Chapter of just fixes and care. Maybe throw in some cosmetic sets and a new map or two. I love getting new maps, even if they aren't thematic to any specific Killer. Just make them fun and interesting. A Wax Museum, Alchemist's Lab w/ surrounding fields/woods, maybe a house/mansion, or pick any other horror trope scene. We can always use more GOOD maps.
-
Reddit post... yeah... Twitter post... yeah. I'll believe it if it happens to me. There's been so many rumors and gossipmongering bullshit posted on those places that even if they said the sky was blue with fluffy white things floating in it I'd still look outside and make sure.
As far as I know they keep backups on their end of things now, in part so that people have a harder time hacking.

Be happy you have all the Perks and Icons that tell you it's in play. Back when the first notification it was up was someone getting OHKO and you had to determine if it was an insta-down Killer power OR DH because we didn't have this Exposed garbage cluttering up the screen.
It's already been passively nerfed by all the information spoonfed to people not to mention the lighting of active Totems. It's actually in a really comfortable spot right now. Totems were always supposed to be a secondary objective for Survivors, but no one wants to see it that way because it pulls time away from "Do Gens!" Cleanse the totems to prevent an enormous number of nasty effects that can snowball a game fast. DO TOTEMS!
And for that person who whined at me because I cleansed a lit Totem and "ThEre'S nO rUiN!!!!" Yeah. The fact the Killer was running DH doesn't even enter into your mind I'm sure. There are a dozen other effects you can permanently remove from a Killer just by cleansing. If it's Haunted Ground, I'm sure all these sick juking, 5 gen running Survivors on the Forums can easily outlast that whole 60 seconds.... maybe. As far as I'm concerned, I'll keep cleansing every single Totem I come across, and hope and pray my fellow Survivors do too. Cause I'm really tired of doing 4 Totems and still getting nailed with NOED because GeNzzzzzz!!!! omg!
-
Eh, if they last second switch to some stupid trash, like one i had recently that swapped to 3 flashlight wielding Meg's, I just walk over to the nearest exit gate and stand there facing the switch. If they manage to somehow interact with me, I'll find the nearest corner and stand there. Once the gens are done, I hit the exit gate switch and go find a corner to wait out EGC.
If you want to do trash things, I'll play like a trash Killer. Hopefully they depip, since they spend at least 3-4 minutes trying to get me to interact with them, and by then, most of the gens are done. No one gets over 10k BP, and I imagine their emblems are trash as well. I do get a bit of hate from this, especially since they lose their high end add-ons, but if you're going to be an #########, well I can be one too right?

I mean, i don't think stranger things was ever added because it was scary
Hmm. I'm not really a fan of Stranger Things. It looks like a cool show and all, but I don't watch shows anymore. Most are boring with the same recycled scripts and environments. It, along with Resident Evil were added mostly to get new players from their specific fanbases. Much the same as with the other licensed Killers. Fans of those series would be drawn to DbD to maybe live out a fantasy of playing as their main antagonist, or surviving as the protagonist. Demogorgon certainly isn't a "proper" slasher flick monster, much the same as Nemesis. They're more drawn from an action horror style of genre, but cash is cash, and at least they fit the DbD theme reasonably well.
As for FNAF... the fanbase is pretty large, but it's mostly younger people who are scared by simple things that have no real horror value in and of themselves. The animatronics are kinda creepy, but they don't have that inherent terror value like Freddy, Michael, or any of the other licensed Killers because they don't really do anything. They just move when you aren't watching, and if they get too close... they jump at you. Oh boy... I tried one of the games one time. It was unimpressive at best. Like Spooky's House of Jumpscares but without the action and actual moving around.
Not saying that DbD is scary or anything, except that f'ing Ghostface pulling me off a damn gen, but it has a certain horror atmosphere that is reasonably serious in nature. Once you've been playing for a few dozen hours, it loses that horror feel, but for the first 20 or so, DbD is a damn scary place. I still remember playing it back in 2017 for the first time, my cat probably does too cause she got tossed about 10 feet the first time I ran into a Killer. FNAF just doesn't have that same feeling. It's more like a bunch of kids at a sleepover in elementary school telling local legend ghost stories.
There are just too many other good horror series that would fit into DbD. Personally, I'd love to see something akin to The Grudge or some of the other Japanese horror films. The Spirit is great, with her jerky movements and odd posing. With her increased phasing add-ons, she is creepy AF. One of the few Killers that actually does give me chills sometimes, just from the way she moves. I'd much rather see this type of thing added, or maybe something out of Middle Eastern/Indian lore. The Plague is Babylonian (right?), but I'm thinking something more along the lines of Djinn or the Hindu Mythos. Hell, I'd rather play as the Chupacabra than one of those ridiculous FNAF animatronics. Hmm... Blood sucking goat demon? That sounds like a good next chapter eh?

Iron Will right now silences your breathing aswell, they need to remove this.
Wow. Now I had not noticed that, but yeah, that is way too much.
-
I wouldn't touch it at all. It's reasonable and balanced imo. All it does it remove the grunts of pain, Killers can still hear your breathing and movement. Using an entire Perk slot to offset what is usually a short period of time before you're healed seems pretty decent.
If the only way someone can track a Survivor is by their grunts of pain, that speaks more towards someone's failure to track rather than the Perk being bad. Scratch marks, footsteps, breathing, crows, and just generally knowing how Survivors move will trump Iron Will every time. You just actually have to work at it a bit rather than having it handed to you.
-
If you fully stalk everyone, and the match hasn't ended, you've done something very wrong. I rarely ever run out of stalk with him, and when I do it's because I was being stupid or killed someone off before I had completely drained them.
Frequently I'll use Devour Hope with him. You might only get 1 hit with it, but that saves a huge chunk of your stalk, and most people don't expect it on the Shape. Make Your Choice can help with this as well. It might seem a waste, but if you're running out of stalk frequently, finding another source for an OHKO will help you.
He doesn't get extra stalk if you are stalking two people together right? You're just wasting the stalk on both of them? I seem to remember he used to, then it got changed. Been a while since I played him though.

Need to give Feng more so I have some choices!
Killer side... Hag in a monokini? Perfect. Until that happens though... eh. I wouldn't mind something new for the newer Killers. Twins could use some love no doubt. Maybe some kind of nanny outfit and give Victor a pacifier and a knit cap? Would be interesting!

Map: Hawkins Laboratory
Perk: Self Care
Chapter: All Kill
Game Mechanic: SWF
Why? I hate Hawkins. That maps sucks from both sides. Just cannot play the damn thing no matter how much I try on either side.
The number of times I've been sitting on a hook, or laying on the ground, watching that one jackass who hasn't done anything all match self-care on top of the hatch... no. Get that stupid Perk out of the game. We have medkits.
All Kill. I like the character concept, but it's too generic. You could put the background story for Trickster on anyone and it works. You can feel the cash grab nature of the whole Chapter trying to feed off the KPOP fans.
SWF. It ruins the game for solo queue and makes it impossible to balance properly. You cannot balance a game that gives people using voice chat such a huge adavantage over the solo queue'ers. Anytime you nerf to balance for SWF, Solo queue suffers 100x worse. I understand people want to play with their friends, and I think that's fine, but the abuse with voice comms makes it ridiculous. To me it's cheating, even if the devs don't see it that way. Using a 3rd party tool to gain an unfair advantage is against the rules. Unenforceable for sure, but still a cheat.

@Tostapane said:
... But it's the lack of respect that each side has for the other. A game can still be enjoyable even if it's unbalanced, but with all this toxicity around even a perfectly balanced game can be annoying...
It's because no one wants to accept the blame for their mistakes and poor game play. If they can blame someone else, anyone else, they will so they can feel better about completely screwing up something and causing their team to lose. That would require being able to process emotions that aren't anger, joy, or fear. So many people grow up not learning how to process emotions like guilt, shame, and embarrassment. The only reaction they know is to scream, rant, rave, and blame someone/thing else for their mistakes.
It's a shame, but you can see it all over social media. We as humans used to be able to process these emotions and learn from them. Now though, it's just blame the other person really loudly and it's not your fault. Society at large is responsible for this though. Just look at the popular streamers and other social media "influencers". They're the ones with the loudest mouths and the nastiest takes on things, not the ones who are polite, courteous, and willing to take the blame for their mistakes.
-
There's is nothing scary about FNAF, unless you're young. It's a meme at best.
We need Hellraiser, Pumpkinhead, maybe a Leprechaun skin for the Twins, or any of the other iconic slasher/horror flicks from the 80s/90s. Stalking around as the Tall Man would be fantastic in DbD. An animatronic toy? No.... please just no.
-
Survivors have that secondary objective of doing totems. If they choose to not do them because they want to bang out gens, NOED is part of the punishment for that. I get crap in post-game sometimes because someone saw me doing a glowing Totem. They said "There's no Ruin, ######### were you doing?" I could only reply with "Devour Hope didn't proc did it?" since the Killer was running that. Of course, no response from the Survivor, but the Killer got a laugh.
Doesn't matter what you do or say, Survivors will cry about a reasonably fair Perk because they don't want to leave their gens. It's a Totem, so it needs to be a huge effect. It's their choice whether to make sure it never comes into play or not.
tbh I find NOED to be one of the more balanced Perks in the game. Huge reward, but really huge risk because against a smart team it will never come into play and you are down to 3 Perks for the whole match including EGC. I don't run it myself, I never build for the end game, but I also never complain when it comes out because I know my team screwed up and couldn't take a couple minutes to stroke all dem bones.
-
I think it's in a great spot, but would like to see it moved to 2 uses instead of 1. The stun length is fine as well, since that's plenty of time to actually get away from the Killer and start a new chase. Now that you can't abuse it by doing gens in the Killer's face or other similar behavior, it could easily get a small tweak like this. Would probably prevent more tunneling simply by the Killer knowing you have it, so they have to go after someone else.
I personally don't use it at all, prefer other Perks to take up a slot, but I don't see it as often since the change. I also end up being the damn Obsession because of this, even though I run 0 Obsession Perks. Before, I was never the Obsession because there was always at least 1 DS user in the match.
-
If you're having trouble actually finding them, aim for the brown and yellow mystery boxes too because they both can have them in there. It's not a great increase, but if you're running the Survivor you're using BP on, it keeps them coming.
-
I don't think a Perk should directly counter any Killer. What is needed is some tweaks to Spirit to make her a bit less oppressive. Tells for her phasing would be perfect, imo at least.
Although if people would start walking instead of running when she's phasing... they might have a bit easier time against her. I can't count the number of times I've heard that phasing noise, started walking away immediately, and my teammate on the gen took off and got slapped. It's not always effective, but you can get a reasonable headstart on her if you walk away instead of running.
Overall though, buffing a Perk to make playing against Spirit easier is not the way to go. She needs tuned a bit is all. I would like to see some of the more niche Perks given an overhaul though. Give me something else to run besides my usual.
-
Freddy definitely. I am an advocate for oldskool Freddy though, as played by Robert Englund. This new Freddy is trash imo.
Imagine Freddy saying ridiculous one-liners like back in the original flicks everytime he does something with his powers. Would be fantastic. That whole oldskool campiness would've made him a great Killer imo. Little bit of fun with his slaughter.
As it is, the Dream World should be more powerful, and the Entity's Realm weaker. In terms of Freddy's power. Right now the Dream World is a joke. Only reason I ever break myself out is to avoid trap spam around hooks. Otherwise, it's whatever.
-
I use them all the time. Whatever Survivor I'm leveling, I just run them. Use whatever Perks they get. It's pretty refreshing, especially playing in higher Ranks.
Same with Killer. It's easier for me to learn a Killer's power when I have no meta Perks to use. Then I rely on the Killer itself, rather than crutching up on Perks.
-
I hated going against the old Billy, I think I might have had a 1% escape rate vs him. It challenged me though and really did get me focused on the game. I was pretty upset when they announced the revamp, cause I knew he was going to get gutted.
Now... I am sad. No more Sky Billy, no more Flick Billy. No more me being a bit on edge the first time I hear that chainsaw, because now he doesn't scare me at all. Too easy to dodge, too easy to counter. He needs fixed somehow. Before the revamp, the game felt the way it should. A horror survival game. Now it just feels like a casual simulation. So sad...
-
If the zombies are stuck, hit them with your tentacle. Free mutation and it only takes like 15 seconds for them to respawn.
Maybe a Rare or Ultra add-on for an extra zombie, but honestly, 2 is more than enough. WIth his move speed and ranged attack, Nemesis is already in a decent spot. 3 or more zombies would make him oppressive AF. If there was another way to destroy them without wasting a pallet, I don't see why more couldn't be base, but as it is now, it's fine imo.
-
None. Been to Game twice, and a lot of Corn. Couple times to Macmillan. Usually by now I've been to Hawkins at least 4 times, so very happy atm.
-
New Bubba can't be abused as easily as the old one, so people are taking advantage of no DC penalty.
I like playing against him, but he is a good bit tougher to face. Especially in solo queue, you don't really have anyone to help you out, so it's a bit nastier trying to avoid that saw. Still fun matches, just a bit more dangerous than it used to be.
-
It depends on when the DC happens is what I was told. If another player is already doing the load-in pan around, and DCs, everyone loses their Offerings even though it looks like you lost it when on the Load screen.
Not sure if it's true or not, but it seems likely. I've lost Offerings on DCs a couple times, and kept them a few more times. Although doublecheck when you get back to your Inventory screen because your Offering slot will be empty, it's just been returned to your character's inventory.

I’ve never heard of this happening but with the way hatch is now maybe it’s possible a jigsaw box and the hatch simultaneously shared the same spawn location making it impossible for the Billy box to appear. I honestly don’t know but that would be my best guess.
Yeah. That's one of the things I was thinking. Something else spawned there and interfered with the box. I'm guessing that it was the box that "should" have cleared my trap, but since there were no boxes available when I hit the third one, it cleared it but glitched out or something. Was just one of those weird things that happen. WIsh I had gotten video of it, it was pretty amusing running the rest of the match with the trap on my head.
-
I always use cakes when I have them. Most matches it's at least 2, normally 3. Have only had a couple where mine was the only cake.
5 Cakes though most of the matches have been pretty sweaty for the Killers. I get more BP in 2-4 cake games. 3 cakes seem to be the sweet spot though. Those are 100k+ almost every time.
-
You're better off bringing We'll Make It and trading heals after an unhook. I've had multiple situations where I unhooked someone, did the heal at the hook because the Killer was chasing, and the person being chased managed to break off and get to me where I proceeded to fast heal them as well. T3 lasts a damn long time, and you can rip out those heals to everyone if you know where they are or have Empathy.
Self-Care is fine in some circumstances, but you are usually better off finding a heal partner for some quick action rather than heaving off to a corner somewhere and taking twice as long to do it yourself. You can actually do gens while you're injured, shockingly enough, and if you wait a few moments, someone will probably be along to heal you up cause those Altruism points are really, really nice.
-
I think you have to login as well. I tend to take long breaks from the game to play others, and I've not been set back to Rank 20 yet since the changes went into effect.
Most recently I took a break from September -> February, and when I came back, I was Yellow for Survivor from Rank 4, and Rank 17 for Killer from Rank 10.
So I think if you just don't log in, it will only drop you a couple "tiers" of Rank rather than all the way back to Rank 20.
-
If you want to slug all 4 at 5 gens and not hook, that's fine. It's part of the game.
If you want to slug all 4 at any other point in the match, that's fine. It's part of the game.
I will still try to hide from you and not allow the hook. That is part of the game. Hiding from the Killer.
The only way to stop this is to not slug, but I do agree that at some points it is necessary to pressure Survivors. Just be ready with a Perk or something because most Survivors I see will try to hide somewhere so you can't get the kill. It's just part of the game.

It would definetly be a fun addition. The only problem I see balance-wise is that aiming your attack at an higher angle could give you a lot more range and/or allow to jump over loops, completely changing Demo's playstyle. Victor has a similar ability but if he makes a mistake he gets kicked or he straight up disappear (if he lands on high ground), so I don't see how that could translate to the Demogorgon.
Honestly, when I saw the model I thought he would be able to jump over some of the small scenery in loops. Him crouched the way he is gave me a bit of a thrill because I thought for a minute he would be the ultimate loop destroyer. Sadly, that was not the case when his gameplay came to the PTB.
-
I do this a couple times a night. Always after a sweaty SWF eats me alive. Just play casually, try to hook of course, extend chases a bit, and generally give Survivors some leeway to mess around if they want. Keep track of hook counts and go for 2 each, but if someone wants to die I'll toss them up there and let them get out early.
Almost all matches end up with everyone get phat BP, and I normally get some thank yous in the post-game. Get the occasional where people will just slam out gens and get out fast, but usually people play along with it.
About 50% of the matches I'll get a tail or two, and they'll do some pallet slamming, maybe signal they have a challenge to do (that slug heal one stands out), and I'll help them with that. It's a great way to decompress a bit after running a few sweaty matches where I got blown out or had to be a dick to get more than 1 kill.
Depending on the Killer, I may set myself some goals before I can hook. Like getting at least one grab on stealthy Killers, maybe having X number of traps set off as Hag/Trapper, or every down has to be with a hatchet as Huntress (sometimes every hit, no melee). Can be challenging without forcing me to play the same loop over and over.
-
Only if he gets to grab the Survivor in his mouth and shake them like a dog with a chew toy when he lands the shred.
I do think this would be a good buff though. Having more verticality in the game is a good thing. Would be interesting if he could also do this on maps like Game/Midwich to traverse from floor to floor through the holes.
-
If it's a full solo queue, hope everyone has Kindred.
It gives you a lot of information, but also shows you the direction the Killer is headed in once they finish up the hook. You have to be paying attention, but it can give you a few seconds if you choose not to jump in a locker. The hook bubble can screw you sometimes though, since it overrides everything in that spot for a few seconds, but I almost always get a good idea of where the Killer is moving when I'm running it.
I hate the Blight. Can't figure out that damn bounce and how to dodge it yet. I've only survived one match, and that was with an obvious 3-man SWF who took me in as part of their group. Was a great match, but one out of dozens is pretty ugly. When it's an all solo match, we die pretty quickly.
Rank 6/7 for reference. Play against a decent amount of Red Rank Killers, but even Purple Rank Blights make me die a little inside.
-
Totems were supposed to be a secondary objective for Survivors to slow gen speed down, rather than just increasing gen repair time.
Instead, we got a huge bonfire underneath active Totems because "It takes too much time to do them all."
We get daily complaints about NOED because "I can't be bothered to cleanse all the Totems before rushing 5 gens."
Instead of decent placement, we get Totems right out in the open (sometimes with a big bonfire lit underneath them) because "It's too hard to find them when I'm trying to work on gens."
Maybe it's time to stop the hand-holding and actually make players think a little about the match their playing. We have so much information just dumped on the UI, it might actually collapse if you add anything else.
I really long for those days when you had to pay attention to health states and actually consider why your speeds seem slightly slow.
-
ngl. I love late night Survivor on the East Coast US. I feel better about screwing up plays because I know that it's still more than anyone else has done all match.
Have some really good matches though. There's always 2 or 3 that stand out nicely in the mass of rainbow Ranks. Great survivors, solid teamwork, might be an SWF in there with me making up the 4th as a solo. However it works out, there's some really solid people playing and I enjoy the experience.
Get a lot of pretty relaxed Killers too. Only a couple matches a night where the sweat is so thick it seeps out of my monitor. Most of the rest of them the Killers are pretty decent. Allowing unhooks, no real tunneling, slugging only if it's necessary/advantageous. Fun times.
That being said, ######### you bunch of useless idiots who wouldn't save me because the Killer was chasing someone else on the other side of the map and you might have to do something other than hump a generator. I hate you all.
-
You don't care about gender. You're homophobic
You don't care about looks. You're homophobic
You want good characters in a game. You're homophobic
You want fun mechanics and gameplay. You're homophobic
You dislike someone's appearance. You're homophobic
Please stop it with this clickbait trash. It belongs on Twitter, not the DbD Forums. People having their own opinions is actually a right in many countries. Just because they don't line up with your checkboxes is no reason to insult them and call them homophobic. Your bigotry stands out like a sore thumb.

The Trickster feels like he belongs in an Action FPS, not a horror game.
While each of the mentioned Killers are basically normal people with a twisted background, they also represent common phobias and horror themes that are well known. The Trickster doesn't really fit that. He's got a nasty back story, and solid lore, but he doesn't fit into anything recognizable as a horror theme, other than his story.
If they wanted more Asian cultural influences, they could've done a whole lot better, imo at least. There's 1000s of years of folklore and culture they could've drawn from, instead they went with something that will pull in more money and more consumers. Makes good sense from a money standpoint, but I'd rather have seen some of the more interesting cultural nasties from Asian countries come to life in the game.
-
His clothes are fine. His lore is fine. I see most people turned off because he looks like a ripoff of Jared Leto's Joker.
I think the KPop angle is perfectly acceptable, although I'd rather have seen something more ancient from Asian folktales rather than a modern Killer. He SHOULD look "pretty" because that's an adjective that most people associate with the whole KPop/Drama scene. He should NOT look like the Joker with a couple adjustments.
BHVR exists to make money. Bringing in a new market makes money. They just needed to do a bit more original design work on his model, rather than what it currently looks like imo at least.
-
I like the Lore of the new Killer. Fits quite well into the game's theme. Not sure about the Power/Perks... they seem a bit too samey and show how packed the game is with Perks already. Did we really need another Ranged Killer?
I do not like his look. First thing I thought was "Is this a Joker license?" He looks really similar to Jared Leto's Joker, and I'm not a fan of that. Taking each piece of the Killer, I think they work fine. I don't mind the bright, flashy clothes since they do fit his background and lore. The weapon is pretty interesting. It gives an anime feel which fits fine with his background. When you put it all together though, it looks more like an action FPS character rather than a horror/slasher character.
The Survivor. Fits in with the theme, works well with the lore of the Chapter, perfectly fine imo. Should be some really interesting outfits for her as well, so that will keep people happy for a time. Perk wise... not sure if any of them will fit into my build(s), but there's some things I could do with them. Nothing OP too, which is nice.

I'm not.
I only play Survivor for the jiggle physics anyways. It's why I can't last more than 10 seconds in a chase. I've always got my camera facing the wrong way, except for Jane. Dat THICCness. Whew!
All jokes aside. Who cares what they look like? Slasher movies tend to feature beautiful women, and DbD has actually done a reasonable job of keeping that whole trope out. Most of the girls are either cute or pretty, but there are only 1 or 2 who could be considered "beautiful".
The game aims towards a younger playerbase, so not surprising most of the Survivors are young or seem to be young. Who's to say how old they are though. The Entity plays tricks with time, so it might be 3021 in his Realm and all the Survivors are actually 1000+ years old!

If only I could stay in Green/Purple. I keep going up to Red. And I don't like deranking on purpose or AFKing or whatever.
I don't AFK or anything. I'll do just enough to at least contribute to my team, but not enough to pip or safety.
If you avoid Gens, but run the Killer and clear totems, you almost never pip and usually won't safety. You need to do everything in a match. So if you play "I'll distract the Killer while you save" rather than going for those Altruism points, you can still help the team without pipping and end up de-ranking.
I've gotten up to 18-20k BP in a game and still depipped. Add in a BP Offering and you're still making good points.

This is why I don't play in the Red Ranks.
Purple/Green matches are mostly chill and fun. You get the occasional tryhard who just wants to be as obnoxious as possible, but the majority of matches are good games. There's also the bad MM, but that's a whole nother topic for discussion.
You can tell Red Rank Killers within the first minute. Their playstyle is completely different from Purples, even though it's just one Rank up. Glad I got my Rank 1 achievement out of the way. I'll just keep on de-ranking and stay from 9-7 or so. MUCH more fun that way.

Visual bug. You still have to interact with them in the normal position at the hook for the save.
I have this happen occasionally, always when there's latency/desync at the time the Killer is hooking me. Your camera will sort of slide to the hook, then either behind it or to one side of it and your character will be hanging in mid-air until they get unhooked.
Funny thing, I did reveal a Ghostface hiding behind a wall camping me because of this. He was at an angle I couldn't have normally seen from the hook, but because I was about 4 meters to the right, I could see behind the wall he was peeking from. He was not happy....

So a fire? Something along the lines of a Two-Face character? Burnt in the fire, and half is evil the other half good depending on which side they are displaying to the world?

It's a meme game at best. There is nothing scary about FNaF.
I'd rather see Hellraiser, Pumpkinhead, or something similar to those. Solid cult horror films that have a dedicated following and aren't just some cheap jumpscare title that is only scary to young children.
If they were going to do something along the lines of a smaller statured Killer, I'd rather see Leprechaun or Child's Play added to the game. Possibly some sort of Imp-like creature. Anything other than that ridiculous game's animatronics.
Still waiting for Cthulu-esque creatures to join us in the Fog...
