You know those hills in various maps, that sometimes have totems on them or hooks?

You could get stuck on / in them. There was a little area at the bottom of the slope that goes up the hill where, once you walked in it, you could not leave anymore.

Yikes, that doesn't sound great at all!

Like @MadLordJack said, it is a bug. Let's hope it doesn't last as long as the Pallet Stun bug or the Hill of Death.

I've only been playing the game for a few months and you just piqued my curiosity, what's the Hill of Death?

  • Getting Adept Trickster on Mother's Dwelling. I've never screamed out of joy so much at an game ending screen before that. I feel like I'm never topping this.

  • Most of the time I play, I just turn off the chat and every once in a while I will glance at it to see what kind of people I end up getting. While I'll sometimes get the nasty comments here and there, I still run mostly into good folk whenever I check out chat messages. One of them memorably cheered me up on my attempts to get adept hag and said I would be getting it done.

Very next game, the miracle happen and I pull off the adept hag. Needless to say I wished I remembered who cheered me on because I'll always keep them in my thoughts.

There's many bad apples, but it's never worth it to keep them around in your thoughts. Treasure the good people you meet, always.

  • I experienced such a situation but from the survivor standpoint. I'm a low rank survivor (brown ranks) but the game we had featured a relatively inexperienced Hillbilly as well and they struggled throughout the match. No hooks, only 2 hits all game long.

Then EGC hit as a lone survivor opened one of the gates. I regroup with the other 3 survivors and we open the other gate without any issue.

All three of us are standing in the corridor leading out. The other lone survivor already escaped. So naturally, I leave since there are no more stakes to the match at all.

Afterwards, I spectate to see one of the survivors doing gestures at the other (who was a Elodie), pressuring her to stay in order to waste the killer's time. So they just loaf around the exit gate, luring the killer in order to mess with him. It worked... for a while.

But Elodie was poorly moving around, wandered too far away from the exit itself and got in the receiving end of a chainsaw. The survivor who pressured her to stay sprang into action... by sprinting through the exit.

I was pretty mad at the other survivor for allowing this to happen. You had one job people. One job. At least I hope this Elodie will no longer heed people into playing around with the killer during the end game.
