You really don't need bond in a 4 man SWF, you can just tell each other where you are

Thats what im thinking but dang the guy just kept messaging me like crazy talking about no excuses and how he was a pro veteran player of the game and that I should have helped then i wouldnt get reported and crap. I took screenshots of the messages in case.
Idk if you're a newer player, but it's normal, you get messages like those all the time, just ignore them
As I said, if BHVR followed every single report, basically everyone would be banned, so don't panic
-
Man, they're just talking ######### , don't pay attention to them, you're not getting banned for 3 reports from the same SWF otherwise basically any killer main in the community would be already banned
-
Hahaha, sprint burst goes bbbrrrrrr

You can't make a perk good or viable by just tweaking the numbers, for some perks you've done a complete redisign, which I like, but for most of them it's just "increase the effect from X to X+2seconds"
To give you an example: Up the Ante. Changing the luck increase from 3% to 6% does NOTHING to make the perk useful. Luck is just useless, if you increase its effect by 3%, it's just gonna be 3% more useless. 0 x any number is still 0

Yes because removing game imbalances would kill the game...
No, it's the way you would do it that would kill the game.
Most of the problems you enlisted aren't just a "click this button to fix". Having super accurate hit detection would mean having super powerful servers and a hyperspeed connection with almost 0 ping to everybody, which is impossible.
As per the matchmaking, having you match with teammates/opponents of exactly your skill level would require extremely long queue times that people would, and are, complaining about (you have to understand that dbd doesn't have the same playerbase as let's say call of duty, where they can split the game up in 20 different modes and still have 10 seconds of queue becouse there are tens of thousands of players online at any given time).
I'm not saying that those complains aren't legit, yes lag is a problem, yes matchmaking is a problem, but it's not like the devs are deliberately deciding not to fix them, this is why I say that I would like to see how you (and everyone else that just complains) would fix them, assuming that you know how running a company, designing and maintaining a game, managing a community and running servers works.
-
If you're gonna start insulting the devs and complaining about everything in the game, maybe it's a good thing that you're gonna quit, 1 less toxic player in the community
I would honestly send you to work at BHVR and see if you can manage to not kill the game in a week...
-
I don't think it would work, dbd is an arcade game, not a competitive one, there's too much randomness for it to be a competitive game.
And the playerbase is sweaty enough as it is, this would make it so every match is nurse/spirit against 4 DS+BT+Unbreakable+Adrenaline with moris and keys
-
Yeah maybe a 7% haste (same as hope) whenever a Gen is completed and maybe 14 or 15 % whenever you complete a gen
-
Yeah, I sometimes think about this as well and I think you're right.
I think you should have to work on a Gen for at least a full second to stop the regression
If you really hate it you can run overcharge, a doctor's perk, so when they interact with a Gen they immidiatly get the overcharge skill check and if they just tapped the Gen they will instantly fail it so it's like 15% regression for free every time they do it
-
Man, you can play however you want, you paid for the game so play it without listening to every whining survivor you encounter.
The only thing I want to tell you is that if you get involved in more chases, you'll learn the game quicker, you'll learn the maps layout, you'll learn how to mindgame survivors and how to adapt and make decisions quickly. So I suggest you to try to chase more survivors instead of camping, even if it means that everyone escapes, it will pay off in the long run.

I would honestly say that everyone that complains about the devs should be sent to work at BHVR and see if they manage to not kill the game in a week....

On console for some time bill's perks were universal, becouse bill was a pc exclusive, so you could have gotten BT then without leveling Un bill

I'm curious to see the actual game environment this will create. High skill matches will probably only contain the most viable killers available (Nurse, Spirit, Huntress, Freddy). Good luck seeing any killer diversity of you have a high rating!
I would also love to know how the MMR system accounts for SWF, since it boosts your chances for survival tremendously. Also what happens if a high rating survivor and a low rating queue together?
Well, it's the same thing as saying that high skill matches will only contain survivors with BT, DS, Adrenaline and Sprint Burst
-
Do you play on console?
On console 360s are easier to perform and harder to counter, due to the nature of the controller. I also struggled with it at the beginning, you'll learn how to hit them by playing the game more.
At least if you are on console it's more understandable why you're complaining

I think all of these discussion can nicely go with all of the DS complains and the SWF complains
I mean, you're right and I totally agree with you, but I swear this is the 10th post about this I saw on this forum today

Let's just take a second to examine how much this would break the game
1. Do you realise how unbalanced this would be for a soloQ? Every survivor main complains about NOED becouse they can't find all of the totems by themselves, a SWF can coordinate and find every totem, but a soloQ has no way of knowing how many totems are left.
Aaaand this would make hexes too op, so no
And this is the LEAST crazy idea
2. 360 seconds = 6 minutes. 6 MINUTES. 6 MINUTES OF HOLDING M1 FOR ONE GEN. Are you actually serious? I also think that gens are being done too fast but making the game last 20 minutes isn't fun, so NOPE
3.No. Let survivor use up a perk slot at least, or maybe think twice before saving in the face of the killer. If you want an insurance if the killer is going to camp, by all means run BT, but it should at least be a choose over some other perks, this would be like saying "oh let's make NOED baseline, in case the survivors rush gens".
And about the farming thing, there are perks you yourself can run in case you get farmed, like DS
4. 30 PERCENT? I'm starting to think you're actually crazy.
You have 3 escape tries on the hook. If every try has a 30% success rate, it means that 9 out of 10 times you'll be able to escape by yourself (and if you ran slippery meat you wold basically have deliverance without any prerequisits)
And if you mix this with your 3rd idea to make BT baseline, the first hook would basically mean nothing in terms of pressure.
So, nope on this one as well
-
This is something that is known in the community. If you want to make a post like this, why don't you suggest something?

[NOED]
Crutch Perk. Even red rank killers use it and i don't mean low pressure, i see a fair share of Nurse, Spirit and Billy with it. Daily complain threads about it, the developers know that, hence do nothing about it. The only argue is, just cleanse the totems. Easy for everyone that plays SWF, they have the information about totems. You can't comunicate as solo survivor to slow down the objective. Include an indicator for totems. Then there are no excuses for solo survivors to not cleanse em.
[MORI]
Easy to change. It can only be used after 2 hooks. On the 3rd hook you would be dead anyway, so nobody cares. No complain threads anymore
[KEYS]
A key can open the hatch, but let only the keybearer or one survivor through and it closes after. There is no reason, 3 people that can still win the game, can escape with a key, when only 1 gen is up anymore. If they did not do the right gens to prevent the 3-gen-strat, it's their fault and they should not get rewarded for it.
But then Moris would be useless

@Tuscan People do this becouse they know there's gonna be no consequence, we really need a place to submit screens hots for BHVR to see
