Running that addon is a detriment right now because of that bug.
-
Glad I'm not the only one. Same here on p100 Chris
-
Maybe a bit over tuned, but definitely not over powered. You aren't losing matches as killer because your survivors had vigil.
Vigil doesn't outright counter status effects or give you multiple uses of your exhaustion perk in the same chase. It's a feel good perk and quite proficient at it.
If a 4 stack does the funny thing and uses the perk for 10 seconds exhaustion, that coordinated team was going to beat you anyway had they focused on winning.
-
I miss the old rank system. Dbd was more fun back then
-
No. Make them 10%. Or 5%. I hate map offerings and equally despise the people who use them for the unfair advantage they give.
-
Yes it does. M1 killers are at the mercy of a survivor utilizing their resources and playing them correctly, and the RNG of pallet spawns. They can't do anything about god pallets and windows. This results in longer chases, which results in less pressure and uncontested gen progression, which results in more losses. M1 killers with niche and stealth focused powers are absolutely inherently weaker than killers with consistent anti-loop powers.
-
Share it. The age of organized turbo tunneling is upon us
-
I don't care.
-
Stop rage quitting. Accept that you will lose games. I am so tired of crying entitled sore losers demanding free disconnects. Play the game to the end and show good sportsmanship to the other real people playing a multiplayer game with you. Place your constructive feedback here like a functioning adult and stop being a worthless burden on the player-base.
-
It probably has not been changed because the addons don't have as drastic of an impact as people think. If Myers kills someone with tombstone piece (or the weaker iri), in a balanced mmr scenario, it means that a powerless M1 killer spent a significant amount of time building stalk while gens fly with no pressure. At that point, a survivor is typically killed (if they don't know to jump in a locker) when 1-3 gens are left but with usually only a few or no hooks. The worst-case scenario is almost always still salvageable by the remaining survivors who still have a good chance to escape through a gate. Like I said, Myers is only an M1 killer.
I would advocate for these addons to stay as they are. They are a remnant of old DBD that isn't busted and never needed to be changed. Without them, Myers would lose the only thing that makes him interesting to play and face. If reworked, Myers himself would need a rework, and I don't want him mutated into another teleporting/ dash/ skill shot power type killer. He is unique and balanced the way he is, if weak when compared to others.
-
He's fine. He isn't overpowered by any means, fun to play and play against. Has counterplay, has interesting optional mechanics for survivors. He's got addon variety, awesome synergy with perks, can be oppressive with high skill and knowledge, with said skill overlapping by playing similar range-skill shot killers. Absolutely no complaints here.
-
The nerve of you people. Don't que up then if you don't want to play. If you only have fun when you're winning, and losing means you have to quit the game in raging frustration, you need to grow the ######### up. I seriously wonder how you people cope with real struggles in life.

honestly I kind of want a nurse to just get different Chase music because the contrast between her Chase music and her menu music just doesn’t make you feel like you’re playing the same killer
I don't know, I think the chase music fits her pretty well. Not because it fits thematically with her character or her menu theme, but because it perfectly embodies the intense dread of facing a god nurse lmao
-
It's been a while since they did that. There was a good 2-3 years that they were adding unique themes to older killers with their reworks. The last one was, Hag I think?
I'm still really hoping for the Halloween license to get some love. I wish Michael had his own full menu theme along with a graphical update. It still shocks me that only Laurie got one.
-
I don't see the big deal in adding an additional option in the menu that has anon, hidden names that allows your name to be hidden only to opposition and exposed on the score board.
-
Lmao, if a dev admitted that the MMR is so loose that it may as well be random, I wouldn't be shocked. I still face seal team 6 and absolute babies back to back, regardless of whether I 4k'd or lost in a 4 escape (either team).
-
Useless as they should be. Maps are too imbalanced to be selectable when desired. The match should never be decided on the load screen.
You can still bring the offering and gamble receiving your unfair advantage.
-
I don't get why the auto pallet break also blocks vaulting. Just zero counterplay for no reason. Remote hooks arent that bad, but when they're combined with the pallet break AND constantly being used to reap pain res it feels completely out of hand.
-
To artificially constrict the blood point economy. L masquerade, I'm glad it's not coming back.
-
The bloody cosmetic isn't a call of duty style "camo" that can just be applied to any other cosmetic. It's an actual deliberately rendered skin and the quality shows. Look at the differences of characters and their bloody prestige outfit.
To do what you're suggesting would mean making incredibly low quality skins with graphical and lighting issues, or tons of work on the art team to make essential hundreds of free skins. Neither are likely.
-
Tunneling to me is the act of hooking the same survivor consecutively without chasing other survivors and before that survivor is healed. Speed running a 3v1 will always be the strongest strategy.
-
It's the "final girl" perk :(
-
This evolving live service game is optimized for modern hardware. You're talking about essentially an 8 year old android tablet. You're going to have to upgrade eventually
-
No need to change any perks, I would just make it where at two remaining survivors you can just, pick yourself up at the normal recovery speed. If the killer 4 man or even 3 man slugs with 3 remaining, the game is over and you can abandon.
-
Deliverance is extremely strong as is. Might not be as friendly to solo players, but I don't think it needs a rework to fix that. I mean, it would be nice if other players saw Deliverance as a team "buff" when around you like vigil, leader, streetwise just so they are aware you have it. You really have to just do your best to not get chased until you've unhooked someone.
-
The dash isn't bad by any means after the most recent buffs she received.
It might be way too much for low mmr, but I would love if the timer was halved but there was one or two additional boxes to search (you would still only need to search a maximum of 4 boxes). Of course, tweaks to addons might be necessary but I would love this part of her kit to be even more chaotic and threatening.
-
Interesting idea, but I don't think anybody would like these changes on either side. It would take away the threat of the flashlight, the reason people take that item over a med kit or toolbox, and turn it into the most annoying, seizure-inducing, toxic bullying tool this game has ever seen.
Instead, I'd be more interested in buffing the range of flashlights to make blinds safer to attempt while preserving their counterplay and skill required to pull off.

When repairing a gen there is an 8% chance per second you get a skill check. The chance of not getting a skill check in 20 seconds of repair is only about 20%, the chance of not getting one in 30 seconds of repair is only 9%
If you run fogwise that gives you a 6 second aura read, doesn't require vigil, and doesn't waste your exhaustion perk leaving you more vulnerable if the killer shows up to chase you. Fogwise will give you more info more often with less investment than rapid response
Fogwise requires you to work on a generator and wait for a skill check, and you have to hit the great skill check. RNG, skill, and action dependent, not to mention hard countered by mindbreaker.
Rapid Response is literally on demand, given that it will be paired with 2 perks you were bringing anyway if you run this perk. It can be used in chase, at the start of the match, in between gen uses, any time your teammate asks you to use it.
Being only 2 seconds of aura does not hinder this perk in any way. If you need it to be longer, you can bring eyes of belmont to extend it.
-
Nothing wrong with the speed of the spell recharge, he just needs to be slowed right after it finishes for like half a second longer. Id prefer fly to be an efficient mobility tool rather than an oppressive chase tool that guarantees a hit on out of position survivors. He has two other spells for anti loop already.

Currently the Perk reveals the Killer's Aura whenever you either fast exit a Locker (which briefly Exhausts you) or use and Exhaustion Perk, this seems like a pretty good perk so far right?
But all that it boils down to is the Aura reveal duration, which currently is at a laughable 2 seconds, with that you can easily miss the Killer's Aura and get pretty much no use out of the Perk.
I think the duration should be buffed quite a lot to deserve a Perk slot, how about the same length as the Alert Perk? Increase it to 5 seconds and I think we would be golden!
With vigil you have every ~20 seconds a free Intel drop on the killers exact location and who they are at the start of the match. I don't think this perk needs a buff, it's pretty good at what it's designed to do.
-
Eh. It's no different than Nemesis pallet breaking at that point, no? Except you're not taking any perks for gen defense.
This combo still requires you to play pallets and windows, unlike nurse who still has 4 slots for gen defense, anti heal, auras, etc

original freddy; when I started dbd i only knew "Sweaty Freddy" and then dumpster tier Freddy
Lmao I've never known the buffed 1st rework Freddy was called sweaty Freddy. That's priceless 😂 I suffered through that version of nightmare too. I wonder if that version had been left untouched, if it would still be strong today with all the other changes to the base game since then.

Gotta at least get the legendary quote right. "I think we did-uh pretty good.. JOB so far.."

While it’s true that the "easy" solution to cheating is to offload everything to the server, we need to consider a more practical and realistic approach. Fully server-authoritative games are extremely resource-intensive. Doing this would mean:
- Significantly higher CPU usage per server instance
- A much larger server fleet to handle the increased computational demand
This would likely triple (or more) Behavior's monthly AWS bill—or whatever infrastructure provider they use. And that’s not even factoring in the substantial development and labor costs associated with completely overhauling the game’s core architecture.
That said, there are still some clear wins they could implement without needing to redesign their entire server model. Take spoofing Steam IDs, for example. This vulnerability exists purely because their backend code is crap from authentication & authorization perspective—let’s not sugarcoat it. This is a basic security flaw that an entry-level developer could resolve, and fixing it would NOT require moving to a fully server-hosted model.
Now, when it comes to player state data—like location, health, and similar vectors—it’s admittedly much harder to secure without a server-authoritative structure. The unfortunate truth is that they're unlikely to build a cheat detection system sophisticated enough to consistently catch manipulation of these values without false positives. However, they could implement a more intelligent warning and flagging system. Even if it’s not perfect, it would allow for faster manual review and action when players are reported.Oh, too hard? Might cost a little? Nah scrap it, facing cheaters every 1 in 8 games is fine.

You can now lay on the ground slugged for 4 minutes straight without recovering, and never get a single crow.
-
Killers with no mobility on old mother's dwelling was an auto-win for survivors.

So you can eat every dull totem as fast as humanly possible, denying your teammates use of their boon perks.
-
-
What do you want it to do? It currently is pretty good at finding survivors and giving you a haste path to them so you can then use your chase power. If you put an insane debuff to survivors on top of that it will feel garbage to play against.
-
It still shocks me these weren't considered when they added all those survivor progress bars.
I also wish I could see when my teammates have certain status effects, like it would be so helpful to see the timer for endurance to know if it's safe to let them bodyblock when injured and vice versa.

Those new joycons will have drift before that update comes.

Threads like this are always a waste of time. The majority of the playerbase hasn't ever had any skill correctly identifying Singularity's issues. They didn't pre-buff, so there's no way in hell the buff taught them anything.
He needs changes that specifically and surgically cut him out of being central to the uninteractive strats the game has. 3 genning and slugging especially - he's such a major piece in both of those strats - he's so incredible at 3 genning that the Kick Limit, which was largely successful, doesn't stop him.
Unfortuantely, most people I've seen discuss it want his chase gutting, which would force him into the uninteractive stuff. It's a sorry state for my main to be in, really. He's doomed to never again see how close he was to perfectly balanced pre-buff.
I think most would agree that overclock is fine. Singularity earns his status buffs in that state for trapping and tagging. It's the emps that need to be buffed for survivors because the act of trapping and tagging is by far the easiest of any set up killer.

But is slamming out the first gen you see in the furthest corner of the map worth it in the long run? Probably not….
Congrats, you just 3gened yourself in record time!
Did you forget that deja vu exists

I am getting a ton of value out of Prove Thyself thanks to the spawn rule changes. The first 2 gens get absolutely cranked if the killer chases the first person he sees rather than check the gens near the spawn.

Game lacks equalizer mechanics.
When survivors struggle because someone gets tunneled and dies at 5 gens, they don't get any ''help'' and are now at killer's mercy.
When killer gets his first hook after 2 or 3 gens done, it is now forced to tunnel that one guy out asap because spreading hooks is no longer an option. Game also doesn't try to ''help'' killer in such situation.
There should be means to aid both sides when there's such a massive pace difference happening. Something like 2v8 mode has but more refined and effective.
Well that would require common sense, we don't do that around here

Ghoul would need a bunch of buffs to make up for that, but I wouldnt mind seeing him balanced without the free tag.
Maybe instead of a free injury it's a less free but m2 hit nonetheless on injured people unless they have endurance.
But personally, I think they need to bugfix this mess of a killer first before doing major changes, we still have the hens kidnap tech working and Im starting to get worried it's actually an intended feature.
Completely unnecessary. His power could be left completely as-is but simply remove the ability to injure with the grapple. Survivors would still be stopped and marked during the blood animation, just not injured.
If his kill rate plummets, which I don't believe it would too severely, you could add small debuffs to survivors who are marked, or give him an additional leap charge base.

Oh spirit? I am so checked out of spirit matches thanks to her being the cheaters' favorite pick. You may as well just join them if you think that addon is fair.
