Wraith gets stunned longer in stealth. Sadako doesn't.
Wraith can't pick survivors up while stealthed. Sadako can.
Until recently, Wraith could get light burned out of stealth while Sadako couldn't.
Given Wraith is a low tier killer, I don't see why he doesn't have these QoL changes too.
I believe the answer to your question lies in the fact that
A. Wraith moves Significantly faster in stealth, Sadako doesnt.
B. Sadako has a lullaby, Wraith doesnt.
Its a balance.

There are so many replies about sweats joining the casual queue for easy games. It's not like DbD is the only multiplayer game on the planet and the only game that has ever encountered this phenomenon of casual and sweaty players. You guys are describing literally every other game out there. It's why those games have two queues in the first place.
It's not like matchmaking gets turned off entirely once the queues split. Worst case scenario, nothing changes because "sweats joining the casual queue" is what we have now every day by default. We apparently wouldn't want to have normal DbD. Good to know.
so why slow down queues at all by splitting the playerbase when its been shown to be futile in every game with a competitive mode to ever exist?
Also...all those games have EVEN teams able to take the SAME EXACT comp with the SAME EXACT gear. DBD is none of that.

no MLM flag?
but it looks so cool!

Hope users have 3 perks for 95% of the match. I think these killers will be fine.

Skull Merchant has a comic?
Apologies, the most hated killer for over 4 years up until the most recent chapter
-
I always questioned why they made a comic on the most hated killer in the game.
-
I have the opposite experience where i feel all the maps are so bright now that stealth on both sides is becoming next to impossible.

I'd prefer if the penalty was more severe with each occurrence. Clearly people are still too eager to leave for any reason whatsoever.

Camping killers will just down you and rehook you. How do you not see that?
Because three survivors now can rest assured they can work on a gen for free and then finish the last two knowing you can get off again. Guaranteeing that all 5 gens and an exit gate are open means max one kill for the killer assuming they are literal Face Camping.
Explain how this is a nerf in situations where no one would want to get you at all?
-
I've met some of my closest friends because of this game, really brings people together.
-
No more 3-gen killers is all i ask for. PLEASE!
-
The length of an attack when the killer hits someone on the hook is enough to pull off a save, let that stay for those foolish enough to be that much of a douche.
-
I love The Dredge conceptually, but it fails in execution.
-
Dredge, base model goofy. make him creepy.

No Means Necessary.

its the same for many killers. when you play pinhead or nemesis your pov passes through their heart (at the start of the matches), or when you play pyramid head your pov passes through his neck. I really wish devs rework pov/height for each killer in some update.
they did it for Blight, for a couple of months if you played Blight you were basically watching from Waist height. Literally playing with grass in your face and barely able to see over a window.
-
Kill the AFK survivor and teach a lesson about leaving your team without a player.
-
PTB Pyramid Head, otherwise Nemesis.
-
If SWF didnt exist, the game would be dead. I want to play with my friends, not every friend I play with is a god, sometimes im trying to get new people into the game. It aint always death squadrons trying to turn the killer into their very own chew toy.
-
Has gen regression taught us nothing?
Gate regression should NEVER exist.
-
Or you can let me heal you in 8 seconds with We'll Make It and not spend 30 seconds moving to a corner of the map to then heal yourself for 40 seconds.
-
110 is the drawback for ranged damage, he shouldn't be an exception
Rather, the strength of his power should warrant his lower speed, rather than just being Huntress with Extra Steps.
He needs a... trick up his sleeve when there are tall walls around because if there is enough of a distance advantage, Trickster is getting nowhere in the chase without a major mistake from the survivor.
-
So they put The Dredge, The Artist and The Doctor together
and then they put Haddie, Jonah, and then Jane...
JANE?! WHAT HAPPENED TO FENG MIN? THE PERSON WHO CAME WITH THE DOCTOR?!
Hatred...
-
It completely changes the early game for the killers, they can get downs and hooks with 0 worry that the survivor will have DH.
And as long as you continue switching targets, you wont be seeing DH until later in the game when you've established dominance.
Literally cannot see at all how this is a tiny nerf.
-
Hold on, we need to nerf The Cenobite first. His non-damaging easily removable power must have weak add-ons and no skill expression at high ranges.
-
I dont give a damn, we already have Wesker choking me out and slamming me against a wall. I dont need a killer that teleports and one shots me with a choke out too!
BS BHVR killers, cant they come up with less OP ideas that dont adhere to the killer main mentality...
-
Oh no, a healing perk which requires one survivor to be healing another survivor could be taken out of Garbage tier.
Its not like that perk first requires two skill checks that Regress healing.
Or that two survivors are healing and not working on gens
Or that A Nurse's Calling would make quick work of them.
Or that interrupting those heals while they're mangled will still swiftly remove all of their progress.
-
How is the killer camping and injuring survivors at the same time? Hint: they cant. A true camper just downs one person and never leaves them. If every survivor becomes injured, thats a lot of time and effort on the killers part and if the killer camps successfully due to the survivor teams failed chases, that is fully on them.
I would love more anti-camp mechanics, but the healing changes have nothing to do with this.
-
I dont expect and dont wish any mercy on me if I was AFK. A player being AFK is their own responsibility, do not hit ready up if you arent actually ready.
As killer, I will hook them but go after the unhook-er if the player is still AFK by the time they return. I'm not about to hear the crow noise the entire match though.
-
A camping killer is not damaging another player, they are remaining by one player and staying to them. So theres always gonna be someone healthy to go for the save.
What you're describing is a killer taking advantage of their own previous plays of injuring multiple survivors, then sticking by a hook because they know no one is working on a gen.
If you cannot last enough time between chases to heal, then the problem is not the killer but your own teams gameplay.
-
Circle of (I Need) Healing!
-
..
-
If someone actually considers taking the entire length of a gen to heal themselves with Self-Care the game should uninstall itself for that player
-
I mean, good luck downing the survivor fast enough to deny the Safe Unhook considering both the Endurance and the movement speed bonus.
-
Remember when they nerfed Mikael's Eye for Nemesis because it was "overused" completely ignoring the fact that it was the most used because almost every other add-on for him is hot garbage. Not to mention that the add-on affects the zombie, which has horrific AI in the first place.
-
Something tells me you endlessly chased the survivors instead of taking advantage of your perks, which would completely stall the gens out until you catch someone else out.
If you had focused on gens, that build wouldnt be an issue, and against a portion of the killer roster, this is a complete non-issue. You're playing an M1 killer with stealth that you arent using because theyre obviously running away from you.
-
Bruh, how dare a person impaled on a hook scream as if their life is gonna end...because it is.
I love the longer screams, its very atmospheric to hear it, especially in an indoor map where the reverberation is in play.
-
If I'm not playing with a friend, im not bringing an item for a quite significant portion of the playerbase that kills themself on hook or just straight up dc's, refuses to work on gens, only brings Last Man Standing perks, or are otherwise unwilling to cooperate on a basic level. Which is...half the people playing this game.
-
Scourge Hooks are an amazing concept, rewarding the killer for repeatedly hooking survivors is a far better game design than many of these other perks that just promote stalling the game with little to not effort.
-
He would get Skull Merchant Syndrome.
All setup killers have easy potential to have Skull Merchant Syndrome, luckily no loves Hag and Trapper doesn't start with all traps.
-
It was a lot easier to appreciate the SFX when it took 5 second to unlock a single node on the bloodweb.
You also made around 9k points a match...
-
I hope they buff perks like Scourge Hook: Gift of Pain.
Encourages hooking, provides bonuses when you dont go for the same person.
Its the gameplay everyone wishes for, but is hugely inefficient because they dont make perks that work well with this playstyle
-
Just like how MOBA's needed to double the amount of free characters are available once their roster reaches a high enough number, DBD needs to increase the amount of perks available in the shrine.
-
The thing is, they KNOW how to make atmospheric content for maps. Just look at the past Halloween event. That was amazing! Hold the lame ass cosmetics from the event tho, I dont need your gumball machine censer or your x-ray t-shirts.
I never thought that any of the maps were too hard to see in, or that that should even be something survivors in a horror game should complain about.
If brightness was a problem then they could make the game look darker for survivors than it would for killers. They already do this with The Dredge, so its not a mechanical impossibility.
Ive played since 2017, and I know quite a few things were rather fugly, but the rusty foggy atmosphere pulled everything together despite all that.

I mean, yeah you can just not chase them, but having a Survivor be essentially unchaseable without a massive deficit to your pressure is kinda ridiculous. If you leave them alone, they're going to continue working on generators. Sprint Burst directly makes generators significantly harder to pressure.
Dead Hard can buy you a lot of time in a chase if it procs successfully, but you can bait it out. With SB, they just end up halfway across the map and you can't really do much about it.
you cant bait out Dead Hard against any person who actually knows how to use Dead Hard, they will proceed to a loop that will force you to either not attack and they proceed to safety, or you hit them and they use Dead Hard...and they proceed to safety.
You should watch videos on how almost frame perfect people can time their Dead Hards to the point where it looks like they didnt even press the button at all.
Even if you dont use it to bait out, you can use it to bide the time to cross a pallet without injury, which in and of itself is massive.

Trickster right now is 2nd best camper in game right after bubba. Make this change and he would get #1 position. I acknowledge the killer is in a weak spot. But boy if he gets someone in the basement. Not even bubba can shred thue collective healthstates as quickly as trickster w main event (and if we remove lockers, it's absolute gg)
Not even close, you could never even pull a save to begin with, with a Bubba ready to Rev
Against Trickster while the savior has Dead Hard, everyone is getting away. This also is only going to work once, since he would have to charge it up to begin with. And if he camps first thing...he's never going to have his power to be a threat at all.
-
Does no one remember when Billy would literally just spin around maps in circles until he won the game by catching someone in 10 seconds?
There is a legitimate reason as to why Overheat exists beyond just a limitation to camping with a revved Chainsaw.
-
Pinhead has unique animations for every action that involve him not using his arms or legs, they could create a non-humanoid killer.
There is a spider in Identity V, a killer that turns into a speedy wheel, and a killer that leaps into the air and can hop over vaults. And its a mobile game.
There is no excuse.

Combine the offering screen and the loading screen together.
No strange punish-less disconnections, more time able to look at the offerings.
