How about:
Whenever your Aura is revealed to the Killer, you receive an Audio notification (And the Perk lights up, Entity whispers for added spookiness).
Successfully escaping from a Chase causes you to become the Obsession.
If you are the Obsession, whenever you perform an action that notifies the Killer, you see each other's Aura for 5s. This has a 40/35/30s cooldown.
Increases the odds of being the Obsession.
That's a better change

It does. Last line:

Is your argument that you don't like the 30 second cooldown?
No, my argument is:
1) Being the obsession should not be a requirement to have the perk work fully
2) The perk should be activatable instead of on a short cooldown. This means you press E, the perk activates for 3 seconds, then goes on cooldown for 40/35/30.

What if,
"When you escape a chase with the Killer, you become the Obsession"
was appended to it?
It's an unnecessary stipulation, just have the perk increase your chances of being an obsession like MoM does and leave it at that.

Ah, totally right, forgot that the stipulation is that the Killer must also see your Aura, but it does block the effects for a small while.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1917364#Comment_1917364
Yeah, the activation criteria could stand to be modified around action rather than a timer.
(Lol, what if the activation criteria was crouching rapidly)
If it was activation based with a cooldown, and you didn't have to be the obsession to get use out of it; it would be a good change that removes the annoyance that some find the original perk had. Sure you won't be able to use it like Prem anymore with a stealth killer, but it'd be a manageable trade off if they changed those 2 massive drawbacks about it.

Actually you probably do have some control over it to a small degree.
Distortion, for starters. Lockers as well. Very likely you're going to see the perk cooldown effect to accurately pinpoint when your aura is being revealed.
But OoO has always been a chaser/agitator perk. You're not trying to be stealthy. If you were, you'd be using Distortion.
Also also, you'd have to be the obsession to be an agitator, if RNG ######### you, guess what, you now have a dead perk (assuming the first part now no longer works). Again, way less useful than running any other perk in the game and vaulting an object repeatedly or clicking a flashlight.

Distortion makes the perk worthless because now you're not getting information out of it because the killer can't see you're aura, it's just wasting a perk. Lockers are too inconsistent and it is not worth it to stop every 30 seconds to not be seen. If it was activateable, then it wouldn't be nearly as bad because you can actually control when you want to see the killer. I'm not saying OoO is a stealthy perk, but being forced to have your aura revealed is not a good change; original OoO you just had to look away if the situation was bad for the aura reveal. It also still doesn't cover how it now will no longer synergize with perks at all anymore, you'd literally be better off vaulting something over and over to tell the killer where you are with Spine Chill rather than run this perk.

Why is it awful?
Because it'd be the worst perk in the game. All the perk does is show you the killer when your aura is revealed, with the massive downside being that you're shown to the killer in short intervals. You have no control over it and the added bonus is not worth it, plus it still isn't useful against stealth killers because you can't see them (not saying the current OoO should, but you at least get an idea of what direction they are). Plus the effect only applies to the obsession, so this could mean one of 2 things: 1) The perk is completely useless if you're not the obsession or 2) The perk is MORE useful if you're not the obsession because the killer doesn't see you every 30 seconds. Plus now this change means that Sole Survivor won't Synergize at all.

Most sets can't be made into separatable, cause they break the rules of changable pieces sets. Look at the Nea's right pants for example. They look so much different than all her other pants, because artists were not limited in designing them. They are much higher and thus would clip with all of her upper body pieces.
And about legion. He doesn't have separate Body/Legs slots. They are pretty much a single set like Nea's. Exept he have slot for a mask and a Knife, but its much more easier to change, than nea's hairstyle under the hood.
New Elodie Kirugumi. Explain how would you make it a separate set, since Kirugumi is a single piece outfit in real life.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/M03YED12OBI6/jgvgfy9.png
Nea's pants could be lowered, it was unnecessarily made higher just so it could seem like it had to be linked; when in actuality it just makes it look really bad. Plus it's not like clipping has stopped them before, nor does it prevent clipping issues on these awful sets either. You kinda countered your own point about Legion, it IS just the body that separates it. So just add a head underneath for when the bunny top gets swapped out, and it's done. If you're implying that because legion is full body and can't be applied to other character changes, then you're dead wrong. They did something for one of Ghostface's masks (the devil one) where it pokes holes through his cosmetics, so it's not like it's something they haven't done before and can't do again. They could EASILY do that with Nea (and Elodie because you mentioned her) if they didn't want to separate the hood (which they also could easily do seeing as they have VERY clear division lines). Speaking of Elodie, even though it looks ok, you can still see the seams (same goes for Zarina's Ironing board back onzie), meaning that they could be separated into 3 pieces. Again, either they can lower the hood for when a different headpiece is used, or they can make the hood like Bunny Feng, either way works.

I'm not defending anything because honestly I don't care much, but to me it seems it was intentional. The original has a very distinct Barbie look, and they probably wanted a more realistic take on the character. Remember also that the license holders liked the ending result, or else they wouldn't have allowed it.
But the original version of Cybil looks far more realistic than this new version does, I don't mind changes as long as they aren't actively making the character inferior like they are here

to be fair, i can definitely see and understand why Kates upper and lower body in this cosmetic set need to be worn together, as they are literally the same dress.
its those kind of cosmetics i ment, ones you cant really rip apart and wear on their own.
then on the other hand we have the likes of Clowns Hades cosmetic, which could easily be picked apart and be worn with other cosmetics.
for ones like that i find it to be unnecessary.
especially since we have other greek myth cosmetics that actually CAN be mixed up with others.
But the Feng and Claudette dresses can be separated even though they don't seem to have clear division lines. The Kate and Jane dresses have very clear division lines that could have been easily made into multiple pieces

honestly, i find it to be weirder that they actually do link the entire set together instead of just the pieces that need it due to clipping issues.
imo it would make more sense would they only restrict our possible creativity with cosmetics as little as possible, so that we can experiment with the sets at least a little bit.
i think that would make the sets / certain set pieces more likely to be purchased by the players, as i said above: maybe one really really likes the kates headpiece, but isnt a fan of the other part of the set - currently they just wont purchase the set at all, however if they were to unlink the head, those players would be much more likely to at least buy the head.
so in that regard they are missing out on potential buyers...
The "clipping issue" excuse that they use is utter bullshit, these linked sets still have a multitude of clipping issues even though they're FORCED LINKED COSMETICS. There should be no clipping issues at ALL, and yet that's their only excuse as to why they aren't letting us customize them. It's so goddamn dumb and they really should undo all this linked bs.

Would be weird to have the dress apart from the head, it would make for another way to wear cosmetics other then sets and individual pieces. So they just made it a set.
How would it be weird. The headpiece is just long hair with a flower wreath, it would look fine on some of her other cosmetics. Behavior made it a set because they're lazy and just wanted $10 for a skin that is nowhere close to worth that price.

As a skin it doesn’t look bad, but when you compare it to the character, then you start seeing the problems. At this point I’m not surprised that another Legendary cosmetic isn’t worth it and could very easily be passed off as a normal cosmetic. It’s the same thing with Minotaur Oni and Lisa Garland. They’re all just normal skins at an even crazier price point than normal.
She still looks bad even without reference to the original, sure they missed a lot of specifics, but "Cybil's" face would still look like a crack addict and her arms would still be far too skinny (even Cheryl has larger arms!). I do agree on the second half though, really no reason at this point why and of these skins should be linked

...absolutely stupid, biased challenges and reward systems like this:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/P1Y4SFOBS36H/stupid.jpg
Ah yes, but of course. I'm so sorry.
This is what the Survivors want - killers to be punished and forced to have to give them second chance after second chance after second chance and let everyone get hooked three times to die; while they run around flashlight clicking, pallet stunning, constant looping, dead harding, sprint bursting and doing everything under the sun to avoid hooks while trolling killers endlessly.
Because the Survivor-mains and the Devs want a one-sided experience where Survivors can come in and troll the killers and not have to be 'afraid' to be caught or anything; but killers need to not do their objective at all because it hurts the delicate feelings of Survivor players if they lose.
Utter. Complete. Bullshit game design. Might as well remove the killer's objective and just turn the game into "how long does it take Survivors to escape", since that is clearly what kind of game the Devs are wanting to turn DBD into - because Survivors can't handle killers securing their kills even if it means losing gen progress or disallowing other Survivors to "farm" by getting unhook BP.
Bullshit.
This game went downhill and has stayed in a trench the moment the emblem system became one that punished one side for effectively doing their objective; for the sake and enjoyment of the other side's ######### around.
Trigger all the players vehemently defending these mechanics because they don't want to "stress" or have to "try" in their matches. They want to farm blooddpoints, have a no-worries game time and time and time again, and who cares about killers feeling powerful and like actual 'scary' killers as long as your Kingderguardian brigade of Survivors has a good time, right.
Dead by Daylight will never change and will always be just a shallow husk of the idea of an actual asymmetrical horror game, balanced as if it were a goddamned Mario party game.
How in the ######### is a completely optional challenge proof of "devs being too survivor sided", I agree with you on the iri challenges being boring slogs, but not on the rest of it. Seriously, survivors have the same kind of challenges, and they're just as tedious (seriously that "unhook a survivor who unhooked you" one can blow me). This honestly just seems like a bad bait post, and if that's the case, well done sir you have baited yet another fish into this terrible argument.

It would serve players much better if it functioned as Sloppy Butcher does in regards to blood: each tier affects (increases slightly/moderately/considerably) both minimum and maximum times between blood pools spawning under injured survivors. I would consider running the perk if this were the case.
It also makes little sense that an injured survivor doesn't bleed at all for a duration without a med-kit, which is how the perk works currently.
I think it should be % based (similar to iron will), that way you would be able to keep the no bleed effect without that worthless timer. It'd be something like 50%/75%/100% less bleeding.

Because Cybil and Lisa are in the end only just skins for Cheryl so of course they'll be wearing the same face as her since it's still the same model, in fact i'd bet that if Maria or Angela was released as skins, they too would wear Cheryl's face model since they would still just be cosmetics for her.
But they're supposed to be different characters, that's the whole reason why they're $15 forced linked sets. They're not SUPPOSED to look or sound like Cheryl.

Since 4.2.0 med-kits have been bugged, at least on Xbox, where 32 charges isn't enough for 2 full heals. Doesn't seem to matter the rarity of the med-kit nor the add-ons it's combo'd with 32 charges will leave you one tap away from being fully healed. So essentially since 4.2.0 you need 33 charges in order to get 2 full heals out of a med-kit. All med-kits, to my knowledge, still work fine for 1 full heal.
This has existed for a super long time now, they've never fixed it.

When I heard they were adding Cybil from Silent Hill I was extremely excited, when she finally came to the game tho, I did not expect Quentins twin sister to be added instead. The ‘methhead’ dark circles they added I could honestly live with, but she doesn’t even look human and her hair looks like a wig. After decades of graphical improvements, how did she end up looking worse than the 1999 video game? My disappointment is immeasurable, and my day is ruined.
Yeah, at this point they should just undo the linked set bullshit and just let us mix and match, if Legion can swap parts of their stuff there's no reason why we can't have it for these "Legendarys" and linked sets. If they can't even bother making these cosmetics look accurate or good then we should be able to mix and match, or better yet offer a prestige and new VA for these totally "different characters". It's laughable how they charge $10-$15 for these crappy cosmetics that are uncostomizable, what a ######### joke.

I doubt Konami saw the Cybil face model as it currently appears to many people. It looks better on lower settings, and that appearance is likely what they approved (unless they approved the design from the prerendered video). Hopefully, the developers can adjust the cosmetic as they improve the way hair is rendered in the game. Cybil's hair makes the rest of her face look quite off-putting, and I currently cannot bring myself to buy the cosmetic because of it.
As for Lisa's earring, it is what it is. Personally, I do not mind the missing earring as I do not believe it is visible on her character model in the game (only in the prerendered cutscenes), so it is not an integral part of her design. Her outfit is also much more battered in DbD then in Silent Hill, so you could argue that she just lost the earring during her time in the entity's realm.
No, but her face looks nothing like how it should. It literally just looks like Cheryl cosplaying as Lisa, I'd argue that she's far worse a rendering than Cybil because they got NONE of Lisa's features down.

Cheryl is the only character who should have the dark circles because that's close to what she looked like in SH3, but they still managed to ######### it up by making her face too skinny and making her hair look worse.
As for the other two, the completely ######### both of their faces. Lisa doesn't look at all like how she's supposed to, it almost looks like they just altered Cheryl's face slightly and called it a day. I don't even think I need to get into what's wrong with Cybil's face, you can just see it above

I've read the latest dev update on what is to come and I agree with all the changes except WGLF.
Healing downed survivors faster shouldn't be applied to this perk, it actually would make much more sense if this effect was applied to Buckle Up (utterly dead perk) to make it more appealing to use. It would allow the perk user to check and choose if he wants to pick somebody that is already 95% up or start healing the one that hasn't recovered yet and have a bonus healing speed.
WGLF's secondary effect should instead be aura reading (to reflect the BBQ's secondary effect). As soon as you unhook a Survivor, you see the Killer's aura for 4 seconds and the Killer sees your aura for 4 seconds. It makes sense, because WGLF rewards brave plays, when you unhook the Survivor - you show your aura to the Killer to let them know that you want to be chased and in the end you get rewarded with extra bloodpoints.
Babysitter's aura reading effect should be removed and replaced with +7% Haste status effect to the unhooked Survivor for 8 seconds. In combination with no blood and no scratchmarks for 8 seconds it should allow the unhooked Survivor to escape to safety more easily.
TLDR:
-WGLF change: add secondary effect - when you unhook a survivor, you see the killer's aura for 4 seconds and the killer sees your aura for 4 seconds. Add the ability to gain tokens from saving survivors from Cages of Atonement.
-Buckle Up change: add secondary effect - increased healing speed when healing a dying Survivor.
-Babysitter change: remove aura reading effect. Add +7% Haste status effect to the unhooked survivor for 8 seconds.
P.S.: Decisive Strike still needs to be changed. At the very very least make it so the perk is disabled once Survivor starts working on the generator (that means he's not being tunneled).
I KNOW RIGHT? THAT'S WHAT I SAID! WGLF should show you and the unhooked survivor the killer's aura for 4 seconds whenever you unhook someone. Buckle Up is the perk that should have the healing dying survivors bonus; I was thinking maybe 40%-50% faster heal speed. The current change to WGLF makes no sense unless they're adding completed heal actions as a way to get stacks.
