I had my first Clown match today and everyone DC'd as soon as they heard the glass shatter if that's any indication.
-
It's more wild how people are trying to dictate how the Perk should be used when the Survivor used it exactly how it was shown during the stream. It comes off as entitlement more than arguing balance.
-
I think it's the opposite. Survivor engagement has been taken away over the years. The Devs have figured out how to liven it up.
-
It's like they balanced the amount of charges around the Iridescent Add-Ons but even those are pretty weak.
-
The problem isn't Vigil it's Friends Until the End.
-
They aren't. My game has been getting stuck at the loading screen causing me to End Task but I got hit with a 5 minute before I could work the 20 matches down.
-
They were about to get Finisher Mori'd so good for them. They earned it and the Killer got outplayed.
-
Map Offerings and Survivor Spawn was more targeted to nerfing SWF than anything else.
-
I don't know why but when I first saw the title of this post I thought this was going to be about Deathslinger and him yoinking Survivors like Scorpion until I saw the video. 🤣
-
I'll play it for about an hour but I haven't spent a dime since Castlevania.
-
I don't mind the system but the whole Grade punishment is severe. It also comes off authoritarian towards Survivor and not really something Killer can receive.
-
You're new as you admit.
-
Withdrawn.
-
Maps were the only Item I used but not anymore. Such a downgrade. They no longer work with Detective's Hunch or Open Handed and the Add-On that tracks Totems is now Purple instead of either being basekit in the Map or being the Blue Add-On it was before.
I guess Trapper gameplay is more important even though the odds of that happening were pretty low. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

I love it with Quick and Quiet, Lightweight and Urban Evasion.
-
This is probably the most equal Patch in a long time.
-
Are you using it offensively? It looks like Head On but with a vault if you saw the Livestream on how it works.

And if they don't stay in the fog area? While you're stumbling around blind in the fog, they get massive distance. It's basically an "I win this chase" button that you get to press every 60 seconds.
Mind games. People love them.
-
May as well just delete Fog Vials because no one will be satisfied with them unless they provide 0 benefit to Survivor.
-
People making it sound like Spirit is handicapped. Just search the Fog area and it's obvious Survivors will hide in it. If it works the first time it will continue to work on you.
-
Disappointed Blood Amber still got pushed through as a nerf and higher Rarity to boot.
-
They do that already. You must not have seen the tag after the name.
-
Watch someone play Mario Kart and see everyone driving a Baby Blooper. Metas happen everywhere as long as people are competitive enough.
-
No worries. They will be made dead on arrival anyway from the sounds of the Reddit AMA.
-
I feel like your average Survivor wouldn't know the timing of doing this and end up 4%ing in front of the Killer just to get them another Hook State. The Anti-Facecamp sort of fails in that regard.
-
I love how it's buff Killer and in response Survivor have to adapt. Never the other way.
-
What about the players who don't use Healing Loadouts. Then those players would be complaining about anti-heal.
-
Sitting in a Boon waiting for a Heal is not good use of time.
Are you running Empathic Connection?
I see more We'll Make It so there definitely isn't q lack of selfish heal.
Medkits were alwaye a selfish item. The heal speeds between rarities are insignificant and not worth it to use on someone else.

I partially agree. Consolidate the good addons, and remove the ones that are clutter. Same for items, slim them down. Nobody is using Cleaning Rag and Worn Out Toolboxes, all they do is clutter the bloodweb. I agree with @SoGo that about seven to eight different addons are probably fine, but we really don't need tons of addons like Toolboxes, Flashlights, and Medkits have. Just consolidate into the most used ones, basekit some and retire others. I'd be fine if something like Clean Rag or the Scrap of Instructions were basekitted on toolboxes for example.

Found the one Survivor player who uses a brown flashlight with a brown bulb and brown grip addon.
I don't use any Items besides a Map once in a while but that might change.

lol okay and why is that
They couldn't balance the 5 Add-Ons as it is. Even the best Add-Ons seem like a downgrade to what we currently have.
I agree with what you said about Toolboxes. It seems harder to thin those down because of the dual use they give.
-
No thanks.
-
Bots also don't know what Broken Status Effect is and want to follow you around to heal but you are Broken.
-
Easy role.
-
I notice at the start of the match that Killers will begin Chase with the first person they see…likely not on a Generator. So they are already losing 2 Generators still.
-
She makes my game crash and I don't mean that in a voluntary way. It asks to send the report but there isn't even an option to click and send.
-
As Survivor they need to either increase the range the cameras can track him or detect him faster. On some Maps it's useless even trying to use the cameras because he's always out of range. Give a reason to engage the cameras.
-
I'm not sure what 'small but significant' means or why only Killer gets the BP and not Survivor.
-
On my main I have 96 of them but I don't really use Items outside of a Map every now and then.
-
It needs to be buffed. Dead Hard does way more for Chase and that's twice per match.
Second Wind is twice per match and it trades Healing.
Lethal Pursuit used to be once a match but that was given more use.
-
I know plenty will disagree but the proposed change is pretty fair. BHVR falls into this trap of Killer having the advantage in every way possible and then wonder why queues are the way they are.

There's this habit of a certain, very vocal yet minority in the community who gets upset when they can't get 4Ks every match. This would be par for the course of any gaming community if it weren't for the fact BHVR tends to listen to this vocal minority, ruining the game for everyone else.
Survivors often have their stuff nerfed, with anti-toxicity features being delayed or half-heartedly implemented, and often receiving mostly useless or niche perks.
As for Killers, while the experience rarely becomes bad to play, the whole of that side do suffer both from being the larger scapegoat, and from longer queue times, since the negative impacts on the Survivors often leads to large swathes of players quitting the role or game altogether, which negatively impacts Killer players, who now have to wait even longer just to play, regardless of who or how they play.
Killer Mains are just BHVR's voluntary Balance Consultants. Just take a look at the PTB Feedback
-
The new penalty system punishes the most loyal playerbase while does nothing for the more casual players who probably don't even play 20 matches a week or care about Grades.
-
It's not. They just don't want to exert too much effort.
-
I never said anything about working every game. I don't know where you got that from.

-
They may have Kill Rates where they want but they definitely don't favor Survivor experience.
-
It's funny how the new Survivor Perks make you jump through loops to get subpar value meanwhile the newest Killer Perk giving value just for having LoS on Survivor.
-
It's a ridiculous punishment system. The time unable to queue is enough.
-
Funny how you think Toolboxes should be subject to this and not Torches.
