I for one think it's extremely necesarry for it to work in Lockers! Although most killers with Killer Instinct like Ghostface, Demo, or Twins have it, it's very rare that they can actually make much use of it. Maybe Twins is a minor exception.
However Killer Instinct is an integral part of Legion's basekit! They'd be nothing without it! And if the direct counter to Legion was for everyone to hop in a locker whenever they see the bleedout timer begin on a teammate, Legion would be the worst killer in the game hands down.
Furthermore, I'm not 100% sure, but I think Killer Instinct was this brand new mechanic when they released Legion as this Killer that can "see in lockers" that can really shake things up. It's most likely why Iron Maiden was even a perk for Legion (increased locker opening speeds + Exposed after leaving a locker).
Legion's Frenzy is by FAR from being overpowered as Legion loses the extremely important ability to see Scratch Marks. Stay away from their Terror Radius and if you're in it, run away from it.
Basically, Killer Insinct should let Killers aee through lockers because it doesn't pinpoint an exact location if far away and if Lockers countered it, it would make Legion completely useless.
And furthermore... They cannot tell if you're in a locker from 32m away. Killers (except Huntress when she has a certain add-on/is out of Hatchets) cannot see the aura of Lockers. They can tell if you're in a locker if they notice the Killer Instinct symbol not moving while they're getting closer.
Killer Instinct, unlike Aura reading, does not say crap about who is there and what their health state is, and most importantly, if they're in a locker from a distance.

Can confirm. I got 12 hooks on my first Twins game and it gave me SILVER devout, same as you.
As well as this, Victor chases don't count as chases for either the killer or survivor, leading to a big problem with emblems for both sides.
Although the dealio with the hooks is confusing me, I at least understand the Chaser one since it really rewards you with how you do with default killer chases. This is why it's quite hard to get the Adapt on Hillbilly or Ghostface. Simply put: if you're too good, the chases are too short, especially if you use your ability which doesn't contribute to the "Survivors Hit" category.
If you're struggling with the Chaser category, slap that M1 (basic attack)!
-
I think this bug might also have to do aith latency issues (to the killer, they became Victor, to the Survivor you are dead already.)
I sadly just lost a game because of this exact issue.
-
Before I talk about who I think is the worst, I need to address No Mither.
Sure No Mither makes you injured the entire game, but if you're a god tier Survivor and know how to never get hit, perks like Resilience and Desperate Measures can be taken advantage of. Plus if you/your team is exposed for whatever reason, it wouldn't matter and you'd still have access to Dead Hard. Also that 50% noise reduction + No bleeding can come in handy if you're stealthy. AND if the killer slugs you, you can pick yourself back up. Very high risk perk, but can have surprisingly good rewards.
Now... sigh... Buckle Up.
Buckle Up is by far the most pointless perk in the entire game. It lets you know when Survivors are almost done recovering themselves.
Do you know what else can do that? Coms.
Running solo? Just count 20 seconds. Hell, just run the new We're Gonna Live Forever (which you probably are) and you'll get a juicy 100% healing bonus for downed Survivors. You really don't need to know when a Survivor is almost done recovering. Yeah you and the downed Survivor get to see the Killer for 8 seconds but that really doesn't matter because chances are you know the Killer is going to br in your line of sight anyway or around the corner.
Mettle of Man! My favorite gimmick perk. Sadly, MoM is pretty useless and can even ruin games if you don't know what you're doing. There are definitely right and wrong times to take protection hits. These right times can let you escape freely and get healed while also extending time for the other Survivor in a chase. These wrong times can cause you to get downed quickly or maybe it would have been better to do gens or maybe even totems. MoM is fun, but you have to really make a build around MoM and sometimes it won't even work especially against some killers.
Insta down killers like Hillbilly and Leatherface are risky.
Killers that grow more powerful with more Survivors next to them like Plague, Ghostface, or Myers are dangerous, but this can be overcome by taking hits while other Survivors are being carried and even then, you could just endanger yourself while also having the other Survivor still get hooked if done wrong.
Oni is just a straight up counter to MoM as you don't ever want to get hit by Oni ever. Maybe if he was carrying a Survivor while still having full power? That'd be a rare scenario.
Probably the best Killer to go against would be Legion as his power just makes it easy to get Protection Hits.
Flip-Flop is alright but once again you have to make a build around it. You could run it with the new รlodie perk and get better results, but if the Killer just picks you up right away, you'll have no luck.
Ash has the worst base perks. Plz rework Buckle Up.

Being able to activate your skillchecks at will would be extremely broken. There are a few examples I can think of that could counter this:
-Always does negative penalty when force activated.
-Has a cooldown when can be done again.
-Always does a "difficult" skillcheck (anyone who runs Decisive wouldn't have a hard time).
-Triggers a sound notification for the killer/aura visible.
-Gives you a debuff like Oblivious or etc.
Usually when I run Autodidact, I also run Spine Chill for the increased skill check chance.
-
Regardless of the bugginess (which is an inevitable evilness in DBD), this chapter has actually brought something that had long been missing for many playets and that is an actual scare factor of some sort.
Sure some people might not be so scared of this new killer, but I know I'm not alone when I say I freaked out when I had Victor pounce on me while I'm working on a gen.
The bug fixes will happen. I have faith in BHVR.

@GreyBigfoot said:
It should be current Mettle of Man but 2 instead of 3 hits. It can only activate once per trial anyways.
Edit: 5 seconds after writing this I forgot they made it so it can be active more than once, but when's that gonna realistically happen?
As a person who runs MoM constantly, it happens occasionally against certain killers like Legion.
-
Entity would most likely be pleased with your efforts.
-
I know it's not meta but I don't care. MoM is best perk.
-
Ngl I kinda thought this poll was about Killers and Survivors sharing each other's offerings and I just thought:
Ah [BAD WORD] the Nea is running a Mori.
I guess I wouldn't really care, but I think it's the way it is now so that people are more encouraged to play different characters. It's why Survivors can't run the same items and equipment.

I see, I see... If this is the case, Talbot must have found her eyes to be enchanting, or he was scared by being so close to a dead body. Either way, Talbot is shown to have some type of feeling aside from pure scientific interest, so perhaps he was a baller and, therefore, Scotland's #1 pimped out rich guy. Surely, you have no further objections @Le_DWK!

NOT SO FAST!
As you can see in Talbot's lore, he came face to face with a dead woman's eyes and after that, the entry mention her again. If he wasn't special to Talbor. Why does Talbot remember her? The only reason it is because said woman was special to him, the prosecution recquires to know the woman's identity.
(Drat! They're right! He did have that sudden fascination with those eyes! C'mon me, think of something quick!)
O-Obviously it's because it was the first thing he saw when he woke up! Who wouldn't be shocked to find some dead body in front of you with their eyes open nonetheless? I'd say that's quite scarring indeed! Unless we get to figure out who this said woman was, I think the judge would agree that this is just a case of mental scarring and no more! Surely Talbot isn't intetested in dead bodies... Why would he be?

Your honor, I would like to state that Talbot was, in fact, a hottie. Take note of the cane and his 'aristocrat' cosmetic. It states that, and I quote, "[This outfit is] worth more than what the working class would make in a year," (Parklane and Westminster Aristocrat cosmetic description) and that his shirt is made of silk. Why would a man of 'science,' as you put it, dress so well and, frankly, like a pimp? Perhaps for the lassies in the town, or lads, we don't judge. So with that, I state that Talbot Grimes, now 'The Blight,' was a true, walking version of class. As they said in his day, "boys have swag, men have class." I rest my case.
OBJECTION!
Your honor, I believe his dapper appearance may have been used for good looks indeed, but for deceiving purposes!
As you can see by the evidence of the Scabrous Cane description, "[The cane] is best used when lulling victims into a false sense of security."
Your honor, he never had the intentions of whooing, but rather using them for his twisted experiments!
The only thing he "got", your Honor, was test subjects, not partners!
Talbot is Asexual, your honor, and has no interest in relationships. The only chemistry he has with people is the stuff he injects into them.

Sometimes, you can tell when a Survivor is running Spine Chill as a Stealth Killer.
"There's no way they should have seen me." You tell yourself. Oh but do I have a devious plan my friend.
As a Pig Main, I too have suffered with trying to deal with Spine Chill, but I've found the fool-proof way to fix this.
Kick a generator, activate your Undetectable effect and now for the special move...
Look away. That's it. Turn your back to the gen and hide behind a wall.
As soon as you hear that fool clicking away at that gen, smug and confident that their Spine Chill will always protect them... That's when you come in for the ultimate jumpscare.
-
It's rare, but when I actually manage to 4%, it's hilarious when another Survivor just sees me do it. The reaction is usually priceless.
-
Maybe if this was old Nurse, but no, this requires 3 BLINKS. You HAVE to run that Ultra rare and you CAN'T blink through obstacles. It also has to be a GRAB. You're only getting that if:
The survivor is on a gen and doesn't let go for some reason???
The survivor is in the middle of unhooking (probably your best bet).
The Survivor mid/slow vaults when injured/vaults a pallet when injured.
Having to run an ULTRA RARE every time you want to test this is brutal. Yeah, you'll definitely have to go to the customs with your friends to practice this.
Left for Dead is pretty hard too, but at least you don't have to run an Ultra Rare every time you want to attempt it.
-
Nope. This man was a true man of SCIENCE. He had no bother mettling in the affairs of pointless actions like relationships. Sure he looked dope as hell, but he probably saw people no more than pawns or insects hence why he dressed superior to them.
Your honor, I don't think Talbot was a pimp nor gay nor any if the above.
This man had his heart for science and was thus Asexual.
I rest my case.
-
Camping is pretty annoying to go against, especially agaisnt Leatherface or Billy, but at least stuff like Borrowed can help against other killers.
-
As hilarious as it would be to pretend to be a generator, I have no idea how one could even create a power. Where would the vision even be since it's so tall? What would it hooking survivors or doing indoor chases be like? Lots of questions due to Sirenhead's massive height.
-
I play Killer a lot and I main Pig, arguably one of the weakest Killers. Yet I still never have a problem with DS because it's such a simple concept: don't tunnel.
The only times I've ever had problems with DS is when I downed survivors extremely quickly (like with Hillbilly) and just got DS'd because I was still in the 60 seconds mark, but since I was downing people that fast, it hardly even mattered because I practically had the game at that point.
If you never tunnel, you make them waste a perk slot. Maybe two if you don't slug and three if you just go for the unhooker instead of the victim.
Having a Survivor that's dead/dead on hook sucks for the team but having the entire team dead on hook near the end game starts to actually make it scary.
-
I love playing Killer, but I always feel a bit bad if I see someone with less than 10K bloodpoints at the end of the game.
I didn't have someone wait a loading screen just so that they could get kicked out again. Sure I know letting everyone escape might not count as "winning" to some, but as long as I hooked everyone once and just black pip, I'm pretty content.
I don't ever intentionally try to bloodpoint farm, but I want everyone to have a fair chance, y'know? Not only to get bloodpoints, but to just have fun too.
As a Killer, you're practically the host of the game. Give your hosts a good game.
-
Simply put, there is a right and wrong time to use Self-Care.
With great power comes great responsibility.
-
Sometimes I get too excited and prematurely stab them... ;w;

I play both sides, but I love the new MoM as a survivor. I like perks that give me minigame to do during the match like Saboteur, Autodidact, and Aftercare. This falls right in that bucket.
If you're looking for a real fun build, I recommend
MoM, Blood Pact, Leader, and whatever. I call it the "Heal me, [BAD WORD]." Build.
-
I live for the meme builds. Just look at my icon.
-
They're okay I guess. I wouldn't ever run any of them over any BP offerings, personally. I find the info of where hatch may be somewhat useful as both Killer and Survivor.
Running the hatch add-on is honestly a double edged sword since the Killer can see it too, but it can still be pretty toxic with a key and coordinated team.

Tried to boop a Pig's snoot at the end of a round once. Gestured it to come over while approaching. It insisted on staying back and motioned me to leave already. Guess not all Pigs are used to humans.
They're still not tamed animals and perhaps they never will be. It takes some patience, practice, and plenty of luck. Maybe one day you will be able to.

A really fun and quirky build I've made for killer is
Furtive Chase
Nemesis
Make Your Choice
Dead Man's Switch
Funnily, DMS and Furtive Chase are considered rather pointless perks, but all of these perks in this build all work in glorious symmetry.
To start, Nemesis is a very nice perk since it helps create Obsessions and makes them Oblivious. The funny thing though is... Other methods that create Obsessions such as Decisive Strike or For The People cause thr Oblivious status to activate! You know what perk also does this?
That's right. The imfamous and useless Furtive Chase. Not only does the hook rescuer become the new Obsession, but it also causes the new Obsession to become Oblivious. To make thingd EVEN BETTER, Nemesis STILL lets you see the aura of the unhooker which is EXTREMELY POWERFUL.
Now let's throw Make Your Choice in the mix.
Step away 40m and let the fun begin. Now you have a Survivor that is:
-Exposed
-Oblivious
-Has their aura shown to you
AND
-Your new Obsession
And now for the final piece, Dead Man's Switch. In a normal game, DMS will get little value since you can only hook the Obsession 3 times and you can't really choose that. But thanks to Nemesis and Furtive Chase, you'll be CONSTANTLY hooking obsessions AND being able to create Obsessions easily, especially at the start.
Basically a game would go with this build as:
-Find/Make Obsession
-Hook Obsession and activate DMS
-Get away and add pressure while waiting for MYC to activate.
-Find the new exposed and oblivious Obsession
-Repeat until win.
This build is viable on many Killers, from Nurse, to Legion, to Freddy, to Pig, and so on.
-
Killer perk
FRONT AND CENTER!
You do not tolerate cowardice, even from your enemies.
Survivors crouching in your terror radius expierence the Oblivious status effect and it will linger for
8/9/10seconds after standing up."If you're going to act like a worm, you'll die like one!"
Survivor Perk
NOT A PEEP
Your fear of being discovered makes you take extra steps to avoid detection.
While crouched, hold the ACTIVE ABILITY to cover your mouth. The following effects apply:
-While healthy, your sounds of breathing is muted.
-While injured your grunts of pain are reduced by
30%/40%/50%.-You don't create a notification when screaming.
-You cannot move while activated.
You also make no noise inside lockers.

I couldn't quite recommend Micolash as a Bloodborne fan as his bossfight is notoriously lame and annoying. Mainly since you chase him and not vice versa.
A better suited contender in my opinion would be Father Gascoigne!
Father Gascoigne is a very popular and memorable fight from Bloodborne and is a favorite amongst many. His trick weapon Hunter Axe can extend long and I think that could make a descent Lunging animation. Perhaps he could even have a completely different type of lunge where he dashes forward and slams his weapon down? Perhaps his power should be around utilizing his trick weapon.
I'm not too sure how they would implement his firearm or if they even should at all. Maybe it should deal damage but have a very wide spread so that it could miss easily but effective close range.
Many Bloodborne fans would be saying "What about his second phase?"
Well my friends, this is an extension of his ability! A passive ability that charges when he Bloodlusts a Survivor!
Transforming into a mad beast for a brief period of time so he can close a chase quickly! Perhaps in this form he gains an automatic Bloodhound effect too. However I feel like during this phase there has to be some penalty like not being able to carry a Survivor until the rage ends. Maybe increased pallet stuns. Something odd.
I'm a little unsure as to what his perks might be, but I'm sure I'll think of something.
