I gotta be honest, they are fine as hell ngl.

I would love for Bill to have voice lines but I digress, the original voice actor passed away.
R.I.P. Jim French. I miss you.

I gave up burning bp offerings a long time ago.

That would honestly be impressive
A killer DCd he broke my losing streak damnned

Aren't there more than 100+ perks that are considered lesser perks?

I have a losing streak of 5000 matches aren't you guys proud of me???

I don't know much about the lore nor did I watched all the SAW movies but what happened to Tapp exactly? I don't mind the spoilers.

At least the gen kick perks got nerfed before the system was introduced.
The anti camp system was put out and then stbfl got hit.
Yeah that's true, it doesn't make sense why they did that 😂

I don't harbour ill will towards any Survivors. I don't have the luxury since I'm a Meg main and I know how many players feel about us.
Mad Hatter Ace can get in the bin if I'm playing Killer, though. They're an absolute menace.
I got swept across the floor like a mop by Ace wearing that huge hat 🥲

It wouldn't have to be denser, just darker. Instead of bright pink, it would be dark grey. That would have similar particle count, so it shouldn't be any harder to render.
Fair enough

I seriously abhor Elodie. The voice actor had to be underpaid to be this... bad!
-
There are so many cool concepts here. I love it.

@Crowman said:
The nerf to stbfl is funny because the devs already solved the issue of facecamping with the perk with the anti facecsmp system.
So it was just an unnecessary nerf to screw over weaker killers.
Same with perks that made gen kick meta happen but now they add anti 3gen and killer reworksz they still haven't reverted it back

2 killers tunneling 1 survivor.

If without power, Hag. If with power and attack, Clown. If with power and with or without attacking, Wraith.

This is the exact kind of post hoc reasoning from killer mains I was talking about in my post. If you completely ignore stats by rationalizing them to support your view then all that's left is forming an opinion based on feelings.
If the devs wanted a balanced game they would aim for a 50% kill rate, not 60%.
I'm not a killer main. Thanks for assuming as much as you did in your original post.

Do you really think it's possible to deny at this point? Case in point: Lich. This new killer is sitting at a 70% kill rate, and even if you support the 60% kill rate target you must agree that 70% is MASSIVELY unbalanced. Yet the devs do nothing.
In other live pvp games if something is so unbalanced it gets hotfixed within a week, sometimes even 24 hours. It's not normal for something to stay overpowered for years like Skull Merchant for example to the point it ruins the game for one side. Anyone who cares about balance should realize the devs have give up on it, because the goal now is to sell overpowered killers in the shop. This game can not be taken seriously as a competitive game anymore. I believe this business model will eventually end up being what kills the game, because survivors are 80% of the playerbase.
1. This game isn't competitive.
2. The stats are too early to determine Vecna's power.
3. Vecna did get some nerfs.
4. Skull Merchant isn't who she was before the reworks she's now a chase orientated killer. People are still in this weird mindset from the past, just like the people who hate Germans because of WWII or the Dutch VoC enslaved black people. They are not the same anymore, they have changed.

I love us vs them posts. It amuses me. Keep it going!

I think I understand why Japan made this law. It's to prevent or mitigate people from spending money to virtual currencies. The expiration date encourages people from Japan to save their money from in-app or in-game currencies, especially those who are more prone to impulsive buying but I think that last reasoning may sound counter-intuitive since it doesn't completely teach them to use their money in the first place since they most likely already spent a bunch of virtual currencies. And why don't they just ban virtual currencies outright if they don't want their people to spend money in the first place? Who knows. I'm not a politician lol.
I get where the law is coming from but does it really work?
I guess the proof is in this comment?
@Neaxolotl said:
I wish I had an unlimited expiration date rift activator which is purchasable for same price at the very least, so I don't feel like "buy it and play like a job indefinitely, or else you'll lose out the in game currency"
This fact really stops me from buying rifts to be honest

So what is this thread even supposed to be, You want bHVR to break japanese law?
@Mandy said:
Unfortunately there is nothing we're able to do about this, the laws in Japan are very strict with regards to virtual currency and the expiration date of the Auric Cells in that region is in-line with those laws.

As someone who plays survivor more than killer, but enjoys both, WA+Franklin's being such a hot topic kind of cracks me up. I was ready to jump on the hate wagon at first. The hype of it made it look ridiculously OP and uncounterable. Then I played against it a few times. Real talk, it's a nuisance at worst. It can be kind of annoying to have to jump off a gen, pick up my toolbox, and walk it to the map edges. It wastes a little time, sure. Getting hit with franklins is decidedly more annoying because I probably will lose my item charges and possibly a BNP if I'm lucky enough to have one. If I get hooked, hopefully a teammate picks up my box and carries it to the map edges. They waste a little time. Not a huge deal.
The real villains in this perk combo are other survivors who refuse to pick up and move items when they see them. Like, c'mon guys. It's not that big a deal. And if you know WA is in effect, STOP OPENING CHESTS FOR NEW OBJECTS.
All in all, a lot of hate hype for no reason.
Most survivors are too lazy. Let them wallow in hatred. I have no problems dealing with this perk combo.
-
This perk combo gets hate because survivors either are
1. Too lazy.
2. Memory issues.
3. Don't care but still complain anyway.

Cardboard set.
Knight set. (Chess piece)
The cardboard one would be amazing as a knight one off cosmetic!
The chess set one, though, would be so crazy awesome as a full chess set of various characters! Like specific OCs get a specific piece. They could even do a survivor set (black) and a killer set (white)!
BHVR, make this happen and take my money!Wow. A chess set for different characters would work so well. Killer eliminates one piece at a time.

I'd imagine it would visually work similar to Clown's bottles. I don't see any issue.
That's a fair point but wouldn't the smoke be more dense and, possibly, bigger?

A halberd would be dope.
A dark lord with a flaming flamberge, a ice knight with a giant ice hammer, a skeleton knight with a spine greatsword, and a wood infested rotten knight with thorney vines on his greatsword.
I will buy those in a heart beat if they were in the game.

Will clear up a few things between "modifiers" and "modes" - modifiers are very similar to the base game with just some smaller changes, so there's still 4 survivors, 1 killer and generators to repair. Modes are bigger changes which can change the way the game is played - it does not mean one is permanent and one is not.
The mode won't be permanent - the start and end dates are on the roadmap.
Are the maps going to be a bigger version in 2v8 or not? Why isn't it permanent?

@TheArbiter said:
I think this could be a cool idea, no idea how you would get that to run well on a switch though

I want a killer that can place giant bone or gore totems that can buff the killer and weaken the survivors.

Half of the killer roster need buffs, reworks and proper changes.

@Peanits said:
To quickly chime in, 2% usage really isn't too shabby for a perk. Something to keep in mind is that there are 115 Killer perks to choose from these days. If they were all used equally, they'd each be used about 3.5% of the time. For a DLC perk that's not in the current meta, 2% is actually fairly decent.
It's not too surprising given the kind of perk it is either. It can be really powerful in the right situation, but there's also some scenarios where the extended lunge isn't needed and gets wasted. As a general observation, the most popular perks tend to be those which provide a consistently useful effect or perks that the user has some control over.
Are you going to change the perks that has no consistency or has lack of control and bring them to the same level as the perks that players do use?

I don't know about a rocket launcher, but I do wish Nemesis got a more interesting ability that fits his identity as a powerful, deadly pursuer. Hitting survivors with a limp noodle doesn't feel all that great for a being as strong as Nemesis.
I don't feel like I'm playing Nemesis. When I played Resident Evil Re:Verse or Resident Evil: Resistance, I actually felt like I'm playing Nemesis.

Rocket launcher would be an insta-death instead of an insta-down...
If that was the case then it would be a new Mori animation.
@Marc_go_solo said:
From what I've read in the past:
1. The rocket launcher was discussed during Nemesis' power discussions, but was deemed quit problematic to incorporate into the game at that time.
2. There isn't a reason for this really, but not sure if this was even considered. Maybe a Power rework idea to put forward?
3. At the time, they tried more than 2 zombies, but it appeared to be difficult to make it work - either too oppressive, took too much processing power which may have affected other aspects, or simply became a bit overwhelming.
Now, maybe these may be revisited. The sprint certainly and perhaps an additional zombie. Rocket launcher may be quite a challenge currently.
Like others have said, we can have 4 survivor bots so I don't doubt that Behaviour can add more zombies for Nemesis.
@Shroompy said:
Rocket Launcher just isn't something that fit in DbD when the chapter initially dropped, how ever with Xeno's turrets I believe thats now an open door.
As for the other 2... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I thought the same thing until I reminded myself we have Deathslinger, Flash Bangs and like you said now turrets.

As extreme as his wording is, there is a kernel of truth to his statement;
If 3-genning, even if by the Survivors's mistake (repairing safe edge-map gens and leaving a middle cluster) and not by the Killer, is made impossible then it is akin to punishing Killers for Survivors's mistake. To some extent it would become desirable since Killers would be limited during the last gen so there is no point in risking early deaths by doing risky gens before the end.
I believe map design and gen spawn are the answer and not some mechanic that will finish off the gen perks and make life very hard for setup Killers and slow Killers (Trapper and Hag in particular are just dead from that).
Side-note: The dreadful basekit Unbreakable PTB was scrapped never to return (probably the first time Killers & Survivors united in their dislike of something), PTB doesn't set anything in stone. If the solution is poison for the game it will get repelled.
The problem with the game is its overall design. There is no solution for these problems. They would either need to create a entirely new game or accept the fact that it can't be changed how they want it to be changed without making it worse for one side or the other.
