It just seems a little unnecessary to me. I don't really think teabagging warrants some form of perk rework, NOED is fine as it is and if you play better as killer then there shouldn't be any survivors left to teabag at the exit gate anyway.
-
I think the range of her humming needs to be reduced, you can hear her from a ridiculous distance and it serves as the main reason why I never use her.
-
It doesn't really feel necessary in my opinion. You can mindgame survivors with pallets anyway and trick them into vaulting in order to land hits anyways so I don't really think that it is needed.
-
He seems a little strong, but I absolutely love the design of it. Imagine how scared survivors would be being stuck in a thick fog where they can barely hear anything, would definitely scare a lot of people. Good ideas in there.
-
Having the unrenlenting too is just kind of unnecessary, personally i'd rather lose the increased movement speed anyway because intelligent survivors can tell when you have NOED before you even attack them. But to answer your question, they probably thought that it was already powerful enough as it is and didn't want to make it too strong, as you can't get much stronger than the ability to one-shot people.
-
This is quite possibly one of the most unintelligent ideas i've ever seen. Can you imagine The Hag with someone as huge as The Clown on her back, putting him on a hook? And Killers like Hillbilly and Leatherface would completely dominate.

i dodge swf because a swf in the green ranks on ps4 means your playing against a team of 3 red rankers and a green ranker who play incredibly toxicly and ruin the game completely for me. your pretty much asking me why i would avoid being stressed out for the rest of the day because thats how bad it can be. as a trapper main my only defense against swf is the basement and even that isnt a good counter. peoples answers can vary. rank 1 killers wont have the same problem as me but his situation can be just as bad. 4 info sharing, toxic survs against 1 killer who cant keep track of them is impossible to deal with.great summary of swf.
was that sarcasm or not?
no, it was genuine. it's a spot on explanation of the issues we have to deal with.

Another perk idea within theme. You solved the box, we came ---
When a survivor cleanses a totem all survivors within a 20 meters of that totem will be revealed for 5/7/10 seconds. When all totems have been cleansed all survivor auras are revealed for 5 seconds and he killer gains 5% percent to their movement speed for 10 second.I like this, but maybe the movement speed duration should have a slight increase to 15, or 20 maybe. Can't see 10 seconds of faster movement really changing the tide of the game.
-
In all honestly, the perks themselves seem pretty weak to me. Exposing a survivor for 9 seconds is going to be almost completely useless and almost never actually will come into play in the game. A 5% increase to movement speed seems okay to me. Also, with the survivor aura's in the basement not being visible, survivors that are running perks like empathy are going to be able to work out that this is the perk that the killer is running. And the ability of the first perk is next to useless, survivors just hide in corners and self care anyway, maybe if a survivor picks up a survivor in dying state, they should be revealed with an audio notification and an aura for three seconds or so. Overall, the perks seem okay, but not strong enough to earn a place in the current meta, but the killer's ability would just destroy survivors, and with the right perks equipped, i could see this concept becoming a top tier killer if it was somehow added into the game.

Some killers have to resort to lag switching, maybe if survivors weren't so painfully overpowered then this entire issue wouldn't have come up at all. BUFF THE KILLERS.Don't be so naïve. Cheating of any kind would only be significantly reduced, at best, if the game was balanced. Lagswitching will only go away with dedicated servers.
Just coming from me personally, a significant reduction in lagswitching would be better than no change at all for an entire year. just saying.
Oh, definitely. I'm just saying, don't think balancing the game will completely stop lagswitching.
I agree with you on that. I think it's an absolute joke that the game has had this issue for so long and were only getting dedicated servers now. I believe the game will be almost completely dead by the time dedicated servers are implemented.
History lesson:
- The publisher didn't give them the budget for dedicated servers when the game first launched. This is because nobody expected the game to be a big success.
- Afterward, they bought back the game from the publisher.
- By this point, the game had already been built on P2P, so switching to dedicated servers would require a lot of manpower and money.
- It was only now that the devs have been able to switch to dedicated servers.
Thanks for that, had no idea in all honesty. But is there any point now? It will have been three years since its release. Just kind of seems like its not worth the money.
You'd think so, right? But the fact is, the game has only grown since release, and a lot more than anyone could have predicted. With console releases and everything, DbD is an unexpected success story - a niche game that sold ridiculously well.
Well I certainly hope that it stays alive, I find it addicting and as long as they can keep thinking of more perks, survivors and killers, it could keep going for a good while. Fingers crossed, anyways.

The best example of why there is literally nothing wrong with tunneling in my eyes is Myers' Perks. So let's look at Dying Light specifically. This is a perk that is actively encouraging us to kill of the obsession in order to punish the survivors and slow down their speed. So on what planet would I have this perk equipped and say to myself "oh, it sure would be great to get this obsession out of the way in order to greatly increase the likelihood of myself winning this game, but I can't just keep going for her otherwise she isn't going to have any fun." It's an absolute joke. The reality of this is, when you've played killer on this game for a long time, you know when the time is right to secure your kill or tunnel a troublesome survivor to get them out of the way. You have to do whatever you can to increase the odds of you winning, and if that means tunneling a clearly knowledgeable survivor to avoid them becoming an issue later, or hook camping a survivor at the end because the other survivors are already at the exit, and by leaving then you'll just simply lose your kill. You have to think logically, and if in some cases, hook camping or tunneling is the most logical approach, then do it. Killers who just hook camp every single kill do not profit. They are barely an active participant in the match when they do this, and it shows when they receive their emblems at the end.

Uhh, yes. I do it all the time lol. Solo survivors run flashlights and DS and borrowed time all the same lol.
good for you. I'd rather wait another minute and get a team full of morons with no communication. Kind of seems like common sense to me.

It's got to be Myers. Fantastic ability that has potential to cripple a team whilst being balanced. Perfect character.
