I always got the vibe that the Observer was neutral in the realm. That he is just there to watch. You know? Like a voyeur, a pervert, a peeping-tom. 😅

It's probably the number one complaint from the Killer side and rightfully so. There is no downside to this perk. It turns every chase into a 3 hit down. Hitting a skilled Survivor three times in a reasonable amount of time requires meta gaming on the Killer side or GG.
It needs a sublte nerf, I've been thinking about "Broken" status until you go down. At least this way if the Killer does give up chase, you will remain injured for the rest of the match essentially. If the Killer later picks up chase on you again, he won't have to three hit you again, only two.
It adds a slight negative effect which is better than nothing.
Thoughts?
Keep the perk to dodge the hit showing the animation of it being used but completely remove the distance boost.

dead hard is without a doubt THE most controversial perk in this game and even people who don't play killer (probably BECAUSE of this perk) dislike it and find it unfair. I have a rework in mind that will reward survivors for timing it well but punish them for timing it poorly. What do you think of it?
Press the activate ability button when injured or healthy to attempt to dodge the killer's basic attack. If the killer uses a quick lunge attack it will not damage you and will double the killer's missed attack cooldown time. If the killer is not attacking you stumble and suffer from the hindered status effect for 3 seconds. Successfully dodging a killer's basic attack this way causes the exhausted status effect for 60/50/40 seconds.
I feel like this would reward good play and timing rather than being a miracle "Nuh-uh!" button. It would also be a high risk/high reward perk that encourages great one v. one between a killer and survivor. In addition, killers with an alternative damage power can work around it while a survivor can that as a bait tactic. What do you think?
The problem is not avoiding the hit, it is the distance gain.

Another forum poster who wants to make another strong killer unviable. And not just at high ranks. The fact you think Nurse would be playable with such a disgusting nerf without any compensation to her base speed or anything else shows extreme bias.
No.
Preach it. 🙌🏻

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Pyg not ready yet. She's all unique and wrong. All messed up, inside out. Pyg make her better.
Very appropriate callout to Arkham Knight. 😆

Killer is completely playable and most matches are winnable.
Few matches are actually fun, however.
I am sure your experiences, gameplay knowledge and skill are the same as the other guy. Speak for yourself.

To stop the argument that is brewing here, "hug tech" is not intended and is classed as a bug and will be fixed.
Because a survivor mains fun is all that matters. Isn’t it, Mandy?

Exploits that shouldn't exist, and something he doesn't need
-Coming from someone with the 5th most blight downs the last time I checked
Do you also agree survivors don’t need multiple second chances?

The first game of the day with an offering screen showing three party streamers so I thought this might actually be a good game. Nope, the killer said NO WAY IS THAT HAPPENING! It was a Twins and they proceeded to slug non-stop unnecessarily. The killer put Victor at the hook to watch Nea on the hook and proceeding to slug another one. I managed to finish the gen in the Asylum and recovered someone on the ground. Then, the Twins slugged two in the building and as I tried to go save someone they saw me and downed me outside.
After one was camped to death, the second one gave up while I was slugged.
He couldn't go ahead and hook me to get more points, he left me on the ground to find the last player. This is with three party streamers. Purposely playing this way with 4 or 5 gens still remaining to deny a fun match to prevent others from getting points. Killers are overwhelmingly overpowered in a very unhealthy manner. It is too hard for survivors to finish their objectives.
This is what happens in about 9 out of 10 matches in Dead by Daylight. I don't believe BHVR is aware how bad survivor gameplay is:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/NJD3PRK6WZQJ/20220428170246-1.png
And killers are using Sloppy Butcher now that CoH is drastically nerfed. It is very unfun to take a very long time to heal, are we going to see a nerf to Sloppy Butcher???
Killers need some meaningful nerfs. Twins needs a major rework so slugging is not kindergarten easy. There is no way this game will last much longer if something is not done about how unfun and impossible survivor is.
I'm already done after one game.
Seems to me you’re on here complaining every time a match doesn’t go your way. While, I do love the theme of your posts (delusions of grandeur) maybe, you should try playing SWF with your friends. Oh, wait…

The whole Survivor role is broke ######### are you talking about?
I see free speech isn’t a thing with BHVR communist POSMF’s.

Eh, Nurse's basekit is already broken, these add-on's are just like rubbing salt in the wound.

I love how all the Killer mains or tryhards literally complain about any meta perk. Not to be offensive or something but y'all are some crybabies. I don't think Killer mains realize that it's and exhaustion perk (40-50-60s cooldown) and can only be used when you're injured or in a period of time. Dead Hard could literally be worse than Lithe if u think about it. For example, you chase a survivor and u m1 him. He runs to a different loop where he has to use DH, and boom that's it. You just use your ability/mindgames nicely and you should get him in a matter of seconds.
Personally as a survivor main I don't see such a problem in Dead Hard. I have been playing killer lately. 4/10 matches I was playing against 4k hour survivor mains as Hillbilly. Of course it was stressful and all of them had "tHe MoSt Op MeTa PeRkS". But in the end I played good and got away with 3 kills on average, slugging to snowball and ignoring DH, BT, DS, UB.
“As a survivor main” you wouldn’t see a problem with dead hard. Instead of rational thinking it’s not hard to see a clean-cut bias there.

I played against a Nurse not long ago who could single-blink across the whole map. She was running the Kavanagh's Last Breath and Heavy Panting combo and it made her completely impossible to escape. Even after using Decisive Strike on her, she could just instantly catch up with one blink and down you again.
I don't think base-kit Nurse needs a nerf. In fact, the way she is so unique and different to every killer makes her really cool imo. However, I feel some of her add-ons put her into a realm of being un-counterable. There is literally nothing you can do against a three blink nurse/extra range nurse. I think these add-ons need toning down/changing a bit tbh.
However, I understand this will make survivors stronger and we don't love that, because they already have enough going for them. This is where some new add-on ideas could be cool, e.g. instead of 3 blinks, a survivor hit by a blink could be exhausted for 5 secs etc. (preventing dh).
Please don't nerf nurse; she is a very unique killer that requires a lot of skill and practice. However, some of her add-ons just go over the top, and some are completely useless. Maybe Heavy Panting and Kavanagh's could be reduced by 10%, 3 blinks could be completely re-worked, and then some other useless add-ons could have new effects? I am just suggesting ideas tbh and am open to discussion.
On a side note - anyone have any ideas for cool new Nurse add-ons?
Fair suggestion, only after they do something about no skill dead hard, iron will and come up with some kind of alternative to swf using comms.

Ah yes, that made up survivor everyone talks about but nobody actually has in their matches, ever.
I have yet to see a single person here, actually prove any claims they make about "I win most of my matches as solo against God Nurses lol get good"
The last time I received video footage of consistent good performances of people who play solo and claim "lol its ez" was... never once.
That sounds like a you problem, bud.

Break LoS and make her guess, so she can not take hit with second blink.
Make mind-games for confuse her.
Only way counter Nurse is this but those add-ons removing her all counterplay. Because even second blink gives her enough distance to catch you if they have range add-ons. Those add-ons needs to go. Her base-kit already strong, she does not need any strong add-on. All her add-ons should be between mid - low
I think you just need to get good. The fact that Nurse still struggles at top level really turns your argument to 💩. “Her base kit is already stong”. 😅 What about survivors three lives a piece, not including their multiple second chances that turn that into about 10?

Nowadays game is more killer sided than before. Every update nerf survivors and buff killers so it's not really surprice. I die most of my matches in soloQ and killer usually 4K unless I do lot of gens or loop him very long and then killer make sure im the one who die and kills me with noed usually. Im not currently using meta perks so it feels like killers don't like that and they make sure I should only use them now on.
You’re either delusional or just plain ignorant. The fact that only Nurse and Blight can hold hold their own at high level really negates your “killer sided” narrative. Nurse and Blight are the most used in tournaments, there are still perk restrictions set in tournaments for survivor also, so…
