Many talk about people who will leave after this update, but what about those who will come back ?

Thats so damn annoying, and yeah it is because of latency, or maybe the hook vaccum killers get when hooking a survivor?
we could also talk about the vacuum pallet stun

Sorry kiddo, you're not cool enough to enter the club, you got rejected by the bouncer.

This is all from The Killer's perspective with no regard for the experience of the Survivor. Using your approach, the same argument can be made against BT. It's equally agonizing when the Survivor is close enough to the Hook that BT provides total protection, is it not? All you can do is watch them run into the gate and escape. I don't see a distinction between the stated goals.
At least with BT the pill is easier to take, you hit the unhooked, he has endurance, bye.
But when you down him, usually it means you can hook him, and in end game collapse, near the exit gate, there's no way you could slug him to prevent ds, so if you pick him up he wins, if you let him on the ground, he wins.
it's just more frustrating than BT in EGC (wich can also be frustrating in some case, don't get me wrong)

Wouldn't that make all gen kicking perks not useable
not if you keep the part that remove it after a kill

You'd be surprised, but then that's assuming those perks are at play. Whenever people want to argue against something, they always mention the most compelling stacked perks optimized for a specific situation. Why stop there? Maybe they have Head-On and Soul Guard too!
That might be possible, and most probably will in low mmr, but as soon as the "good loadout" is found, you're pretty sure to see it at least twice per game, even in low mmr.

They are actively encouraging it with the incoming changes. It is even easier to tunnel and camp than ever before.
Don't know if anyone got the patience to go through bt, off the record, dead hard and ds in a single chase.
-
@Nicholas said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3045273#Comment_3045273
Isn't it when the gates are powered? Yeah, sure, that situation can happen, but it doesn't always. Now the solution is to guarantee anyone hooked after completing the generators to a death sentence? It's funny how people are against a guaranteed escape but are ok with a guaranteed kill. And then there's the situation of BT "guaranteeing" escapes, so should BT also not work after the gates are powered?
The big difference between bt and DS, it's the fact that DS is a slow agony of watching someone crawling away without being able to do anything against it.
When it's just BT you at least get to land a Hit.
it's also probably from the fact that when you're downed you're in the situation where "you lost" the chase, so you shouldn't be able to "still win" (yes I know in EGC it doesn't really work this way since the killer can just go for the unhooked survivor, but he has no other choice at this point if he want to get a kill)

Good luck controlling boons when there are multiple booners in a match. If your able to do this, stop gens progressing and keep survivors injured, I’d like to know your tips.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3045070#Comment_3045070
I might have misunderstood, but what do you mean? Perks aren’t meant to benefit the other side.
it's general
if something is good for the Game, it means it's good for the killer and the survivors
if it benefit only one side then it's not "good for the Game" it's just "good for x side".

Retribution is actually a decent perk in hex builds.
At least with retribution you rely on something that will surely happens, wich is your hex totems getting destroyed.

Right, so if a killer has chased you and only you for the majority of the game, but you've managed to survive until the gates are powered, you're suddenly not being tunneled? This BHVR logic does not compute.
if it took a WHOLE GAME for the killer to get you, and only you, you could at least give him that.
-
@HexPleaseLetMeSpeak said:
It shouldn't be a hex NOR should it go away after killing someone, if the perk is just going to be 100% regression. 40 seconds just to remove 10 seconds of a single survivors progress is the most idiotic thing I've seen in a while.
Plus you get punished for playing the game and killing someone? like what?
A lesser version of ruin (not as an hex) could be basekit at this point. So it rewards pressure and allow you to still play other perks.
-
I do agree that ruin is now really bad, and it was not as used as before recently.
But now it might as well disappear

I don't see the problem with admitting being wrong on a video game forum, or even in real life.

Yes, I do admit I was wrong on this, I thought you wanted a country that was really tolerant, not a country where litteraly no oppression existed since it's near impossible.

In which case people there still experience oppression because the majority still cause irreparable damage to the minority community through harm and other criminal activities motivated by spite.
Rendering your comment than nobody in Canada experiences oppression for being LGBT wrong. Tell the people being killed for being trans that they aren't being oppressed.
Yes, I do admit that no country have 0 oppression against the lgbt. Such is the same for jewish people, muslim, and much more.
Because, sadly, it's impossible to live in a country where everyone support each other.

There's a drag act that performs at the bar I work at every once in a while. Two of the guys are cishet, have wives, children etc (I don't know the rest personally).
In that regard, it's simply just their job. They turn up to work, put on their outfits, perform, get paid at the end of the night and go home afterwards. It's not something they're systemically oppressed for.
same for trans, gay and overall queer people depanding of where they live, they're not always oppressed.
didn't say all drag were not just cross dresser, i'm talking about the movement as a whole

If they are cisgender and straight yes I know what they feel, they are men who like women and like to put women's clothes on for a show.
That's literally what a cis straight drag queen is.
You're not a cis straight drag so you don't know how they feel and how they are discriminated for it.
-

Cisgender Straight drag queens literally are only dressing as woman.
you don't know how they feel, and how they live with that so, you should stop assuming things.
-
@Marigoria said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3045849#Comment_3045849
That's exactly my problem with it.
By including all these people just because they want to dress different clothes it will just make it more difficult for trans people like myself to be understood.
Idk how many times I've seen people think trans people are just "man in woman's clothes" and whatever else.
As a trans person, my own experience, I'm going through medical transition, I had to come out to friends/family with the fear of being disowned just so I can be who I am on my day to day life.
Most crossdressers dont have to deal with any of these things, coming out, being disowned, because they can just put it on and off. Trans people cannot.
would be good if you stopped saying that drag are just people who like to wear different clothes since you are not in their category and don't know how they feel about it.
trans people are not alone in the LGBTQ+ community, everyone should be recognized equally for who they are, no one is above the other.

I'm just saying they are not part of LGBT+, which they are not if they are straight and cis.
You can deny it as much as you want but they are part of it.
there's no "ally", using this just separate people who pursue a common goal, inside a marginalized groupe you're maginalizing people ?

@SuzuKR said:
Whether or not crossdressers are part of LGBT+ is irrelevant and besides the point.
https://www.womankind.org.uk/intersectionality-101-what-is-it-and-why-is-it-important/
This is the reason things like the Progress Flag have become a thing in the first place. Defending JUST LGBT+, or JUST POC, (etc etc) is not enough. Being LGBT+ does not mean you are a POC. Being a POC does not mean you are LGBT+. But there is overlaps in both, and even when there is not, both are still minority groups that face discrimination.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3045794#Comment_3045794
LGBT+ people are not a monolith, nor do you speak for all of them. As an example, I am non-binary and pan. And I disagree with your take on the matter. You can defend both LGBT+, as well as other discriminated minorities. Like how you can support both LGBT+ and people of color. Crossdressing does not harm anyone (except bigots malding, which is irrelevant). Division benefits the oppressor, not the oppressed. Standing together is how said minority groups gain strength in unity.
The last paragraph sum it all honestly.
Why rejecting people from where they belong so they can fight under the same flag for a common cause
-
@Marigoria said:

No, you people are the ones comparing drag queens and crossdressers, even when they are cisgender and straight, saying they belong in the same group as LGBT+ people.
They are an important part of how the LGBT+ movement is recognized and acknowledged nowadays and you just toss them out like they didn't belong in it in the first place.
Quite harsh.

Can you link me where the LGBTQ+ community is defined like that?
because last I knew it was a loosely defined community to begin with and being a crossdresser doesn’t seem like a normal lifestyle choice
i agree they are not part of the core group of the LGBTQ+ community, but just the fact they are tied so close to the community and are being discriminated against and it is about gender conformity etc makes me think they are part of the +.
If you look a bit into the history of the drag movement, you'll see that they were an important part of the LGBT movement history.

It's not sense when you are advocating for a straight cis guy to be part of LGBTQIA+ just because he prefers to wear thongs instead of boxers. It's pathetic.
You're not a drag so how can you be so sure that it's as simple as just wanting to wear clothes that are from the other gender ?
-
@Mooks said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/3045745#Comment_3045745
No. Crossdressers can’t choose it like that. That’s what i have tried to tell you several times. They don’t choose to be like that. Why would anyone want to choose to like to wear clothing that would lead to actual discrimination against them? Why do they do often do it not in public?
it’s important for me because I don’t like discrimination like this. They are a marginalized group. They evidently even get discriminated by other marginalized groups.
why do you feel the need to exclude them when it’s clear this is about gender stereotypes, discrimination, people that can’t choose who they are etc?
you're not the first one trying to knock some sense into him and you probably won't be the last, good luck with that

Tshirts and sweaters aren’t identified as a clothing for only one gender and not the other. Crossdressing only applies to trying on clothes that identity as opposite sex clothing.
And it’s not a choice whether you like certain clothing. That applies to anything. Did I choose to not find bananas tasty or something? I know food isn’t an LGBT+ thing and I’m not claiming that, it’s just an analogy.
I find quite sad the fact that you have to say that it's an analogy in order to not be misunderstood

TFW cishets have to see a piece of media that isn’t 100% cishet:
Have you tried getting over it? There doesn’t need to be a reason to have representation. People EXIST. Lazy representation is still representation. All representation is good representation except bad representation. Because it is still more representation. It literally does not matter what percent of a game’s characters are LGBT+ compared to real life. Get the hell over it and stop projecting your own insecurities.
