  • Another day, another NOED/DS thread.

NOED is fine and can be completely nullified before the killer can even use it. Whole perk slot for nothing. It's not rocket science to cleanse all the totems lol. And what's more, is that the survivors control when it might even activate.

DS is also fine because DS is not the issue. It's the underlying problem it makes worse. And that is time. Killers simply don't have enough time if survivors know how to do gens efficiently. Factor in DS and that's even more time wasted. If killers had more time to chase and down survivors, a 2nd-chance perk as strong as DS wouldn't be as big a deal.

  • Quite frankly, SWF groups mean nothing to me. I've struggled against groups of 4 randoms and I've demolished 4-man's. I don't see a point in dodging when I'm going to lose anyway if they're optimal with gens. I'm OK with this, though. You can't win them all.

I enjoy Billy or Myers the most. 8/10 I'll at least 3K as, thankfully, Squadettes all with DS and good looping on farm with mist are few and far in between.

  • DS, itself, is not the problem. The problem is that killers simply don't have enough time when a team knows how to rush gens. DS exacerbates this. As a killer, you need pressure fast to help slow down the rate at which gens are completed. DS robs you of this pressure by denying you the hook.

Survivors really need to stop comparing NOED to DS, it's honestly tiring. Whilst NOED and DS are extremely strong perks, one can be countered and the other cannot. Enduring and dribbling are band-aid solutions, whilst NOED can be completely removed before it even comes into play.

Personally, I don't think DS needs reworking, I think we've simply lost sight of the real problem. With only one actually important objective, smarter teams can be out the gates in no time.

  • I think all killers should be nerfed. The fact they can down me is just ridiculous. Killer main btw.

  • It's ironic, really. Playing Legion how he's "supposed" to be played feels like the weaker and more-punishable approach. It's boring how he seems to excel at concentrating one survivor down, as opposed to targeting multiple. He definitely needs an overhaul: No amount of balancing will fix the fact he can circumvent entire mechanics of the game with no real counters.

  • This is just silly. A killer shouldn't be punished for capitalizing on a survivor's mistake... This sort of backwards mentality really needs to stop.

Tbag is the only thing funny you can do against a Legion actually... not out play no funny chase ... Meh, it's deserved.

    I get tbagged / Dc'd when I ToxiLegion and that's fine.

It's deserved simply because they play Legion? Give me a break.

Toxicity against killers is nothing new. I'd recommend swapping to a stronger killer at high ranks and growing a thicker skin.

    Shrug

    I dun seee it

Clown is extremely efficient when it comes to the chase. He's very good at controlling the pace of your loop and quite often normally either ends up with an early pallet drop, a hit, or even both. Unfortunately, as Crusader said, he's got poor map pressure and struggles to snowball without the Redhead's Pinky Finger. And in a game of 1v4, this hurts your viability.

  • Some survivors, especially SWF, tend to develop big egos with how easy it can be for them. This is due to how strong the optimal genrush is. It's why you see a lot more toxic survivor streamers than killer: They understand that survivors are the power role, and there's 4 of them. When they lose, it bruises that ego and the vast majority of those people like to try and blame you instead of acknowledge their own mistakes.

  • Some people will always try to excuse their own shortcomings. And this imaginary "code of honor" is one I see everywhere.
