Any forum without complaining would be dead. It's how people cope.

Using big words to sound smart doesnt make you look smart nor does it prove him wrong. It just makes you look cringe. Pro tip: Just be yourself.
I love big words. How is that being untrue to myself? Cringe all you want. He is proven wrong in that he provides no argument. Perhaps we should take this to X, so I can better address you.

So tell me..... What do you considered tunneling!!!!
For me tunneling is bypassing all teammates and avoiding all chases to rehook a recently unhooked survivor before 1 gen if all players are alive and before egc if someone is dead.
I should have clipped some video yesterday. It was really bad. Two games in a row were exquisite examples, I could easily blame playing as the new survivor but the behavior was hardly invented with the addition of the new survivor.
Just the killer standing there and hitting me on the hook. They seemed to know I would be able to unhook myself, so they stayed right in my face. I waited until the last viable second and unhooked myself. Of course, I only made it a short distance. I was foolish enough to use no anti-tunnel perks as well as my teammate, who insisted on immediately unhooking me again with full knowledge of the killer being right in my face.
So, long story short. This was not something to be "competitive" or even win. There can be no win when the only scenario for me was to lose. I was forced fed a loss that no level of skill could combat.
Survivors could have just done the gens and left but they insisted on feeding the killers and they did. So, the killers of both games can now fare forth and continue with their behavior.
I am grateful though as the situation is far better than it has ever been. It really is, no sarcasm.

A potent counter-argument. Insinuating I have no intellectual ability but providing no evidence.

Literally nobody cares about what the invisible MMR regards as a draw or loss.
Yes, it's silly that the MMR regards the survivors abandoning the match as a draw for them. Yes, that should be changed. But also, nobody actually wants high MMR in this game, I guarantee you that the survivors who abandon would much rather regard the match as a loss so their MMR will go down.
"Quick, if I hit the abandon I get to avoid losing this match!" -said no sane survivor who is currently slugged or on hook ever.
If you downed all 4 survivors and they abandon, you win and they lose.
Also, complaining about Babysitter? Really? The most unproblematic, least abusable anti-tunnel perk in the entire game? Yes it's banned in comp, but you shouldn't really use comp rules to determine what's fine for pub matches, they are not playing the same game as everyone else.
Zactly, tournament play isn't even really playing the game with so many rules. The principle rule should be "no mics".

Great post, the hand holding for Survivors is getting ridiculous again. I'm half expecting basekit Windows of Opportunity and Bond next so then everyone can stack 2nd chance perks while grim embrace gets nerfed to 20 seconds lol

Killer gameplay is just fine for me. The game would be boring if the killer was guaranteed a hook when they already move at 115% speed compared to 100%. If that is insufficient, I don't know what to tell you. Killers have some pretty strong perks and abilities.
-
Most folks use bond for sandbagging, myself included. This is the art of being chased and using teammates for "taking a hit" without prior authorization or volunteering. It's just what we do for each other.

Not like there haven't been killers that can return to hook easily. How about killers that hide outside the camping radius?
Myers, Pig, Wraith, Ghostface, Sadako.
Quit acking like this is the first time a killer proxies hooks.
Thus, proxy camping is a problem on the level of tunneling and face camping. The exact same thing. There should never be something that allows an uncounterable win for either side.

Thanx for the input, all. I hate to sound like a whiny biznotch but this is pretty much the only game I play anymore. 8 years and over 1500 dollars into it, I don't find the same entertainment in any other game. It's the best. The initial feelings becoming a fleeting memory are depressing. I do go outside and see people, lol. This is just something I play. Admittedly, obsessively at times. It's an amazing game, just is.
It seems I am due for a break, I guess. I very seldom see it get to this point with the bm but do realize it comes from both sides. Killer main for the longest and lately been more survivor which seems to have more to complain when solo.
Have fun, all.
Oh and for the record, I don't mind losing at all. I just want to play the game.

Team Rando always gets more kills than the killer in my experience. Bulls are murderous as well and are not renowned for second chances in bull runs. I may have tried it in my drinking and youth derangement days but... hey-all to the naw. They do aspire to remove any movement of those performing the jig on the end of their horns. As well as remove any further aspirations of movement from their party favors if they can and there is plenty of video showing this stark truth.
Anyways, some minor adjustments could go a long ways as far as solo survivor. Knowing what perks others are running is my favorite idea.
-
They are generally far more productive than the folks who they replace. I have at least a dozen screenshots from the 2 v 8 event. They show bots at the top of each scoreboard. Just is what it is.

I also would love an option for console only crossplay. It's not lost on me that everytime I go against a survivor that's impossible to catch (perfect pathing always, wins every 50/50, etc.) they're NEVER on console. It's always clearly the name of someone on Steam/Epic or they have a private Steam profile
I have been playing 8 years and I can immediately tell if the killer/survivor is PC or console, simply based on how they move. Pretty much a guaranteed loss for console but not always, just most of the time.
-
I can only assume that a vast volume of PC killers are psychic. When playing 1v4, I just assume such keen intuition is aura reading perks. In 2v8, one is told when their aura is showing and when it isn't.
Here is an example of what PC killers are capable of in the 2v8 mode.
https://youtu.be/F5g5zIs2hqU?si=D6UPq_hWEtKy_fCt
This is in my games about half the time in 2v8 against PC killers. If it was isolated incidents, I could overlook it but it isn't.

Also, stop employing your half a heal state team perk in the middle of being healed It inevitably causes a failed skill check .
-
How do they get across the map without encountering anyone else though?
-
I think you're right. Been seeing so many shenanigans on YouTube, that I was beginning to believe the worst. I do be seeing these PC killers getting nearly 40,000 points every match though.
-
Those of us killers playing for 12 hooks all along, couldn't be happier.

Because they prioritise unhooks. They're getting like 1k a pop. Have you tried to do the survivor unhook challenge in the 2v8 tome? It took me, no joke, about 4 games to get it done because I had to literally race the bots for the unhook. They've been programmed for unhooking to be their #1 priority.
If only there was a way for survivors to perform at their level...oh, wait.
-
"Infused with controversy, this thread is"-sayeth Yoda. The wise hens presiding nod their heads in solemn agreeance.
-
I still find the things they do and don't do to be far better than the average rando.
I mean seriously, look at the top scores at the end of the match. Almost always bots. I have an archive of screenshots that I dare not post.
-
Same. Tapping out as I have to be close to a gazillion by now.
-
Used to be 100 on all platforms. They reverted it about 2 years ago.
-
Actually, in one of the two times I've played against her, the killer camped the hook from about 20 feet away and sent the dog to the unhook. Skill, yo.

@vBlossom_ said:
No, Thrill should be reverted back to 10% as it was fine there.
Idk why BHVR added buff, BBQ didn't get any buff after removing bloodpoints incentive and Prove even got Nerf.
Hex perks are underused for obvious reasons. 12% would be more reasonable though.
-
Been playing since 2017 and having more fun than ever on both sides.
-
wait until you get hit with the streamer to use the emp. immediately run for cover and then use the emp. often it will come back while you're doing the gen otherwise. always look for the thingies up high to know where it is.
-
bots do objectives, dc playmates as a rule, do not. also, the killer can tunnel the bots until their heart is content (at the cost of losing, but it must be awfully fun.) and nor spread ill-will further into the game.
-
always carry an emp. hide behind objects when you first get hit with a streamer, then blast the original and rhe one on you. whenever moving or working on a gen, look up to see where the boogers are. (what me and my friiends call them)
-
i was trying to find a video demonstrating the difference but i can't remember the title. a good example is how a surivor bobs their head. that speed of movement cannot be replicated on console to my knowledge. perhaps with a keyboard as it is easier to hit two keys? i dunno.. the difference though is readily seen. tramslated to other.movements such as turning?
-
this game has come so way far. it is not the same game it was 2017. imagine if you can, no endgame. what we see at the gate now is nothing compared to what once was. survivors would never leave.
we also had no protection against camping or tunneling. you had to hope the rescuing survivor had borrowed time and they usually didn't. so it was just a big mess and teammates would just kill you for reasons knowm only to themselves. Now, i just run off the record and that is sufficient. if i still get tunneled, i get to waste the killer's time.
-
i am an absolutist. kind of silly as there are cosmetics i will never buy, albeit few. what you mention is the best hope. i would spend 3 bucks or so for a charm.

Youre right, because its obsolete in this scenario.
Name one disadvantage in the above scenario. One.
framerate.

I mean the difference between killer controls between PC killers and Console killers is the main complaint from console, survivors having their controls portes over really well is often the reason why most console players play survivor.
What is the big advantage then? Outdated hardware?
partially. i suspect framerate. there have been experiments done by others. i'll have to see if i can find them.
-
you are a pc player, of course you don't see it.
-
i disagree. i used to collect videos of evidence but it is seldom talked about..
-
yeah, same survivor protection as lights out with a10-15% gen slowdown would be amazing.

Being on console or PC doesnt make much of a difference if youre up against a Nurse on PC
actually...it does and it works both ways. any killer on console versus high mmr pc survivors is practically a guaranteed loss due exclusively to movement ability. i am guessing it is fps. console survivor against pc nursei the same thing. i suppose it is fun to pretend it is a skill issue and i am guessing you are on pc. i've played over 6000 hours since 2017.
-
as if on cue...the very next game camping/tunneling doctor at five gens. i think i'll sit this one out.
all perks level one on p13 nea.
-
definitely agree on the first part but also killers have no guarantee against gen rush either. also, i have noticed my perks are level one on a level 10 survivor i just played.
so, it will be good a couple days and it is still fun in the absence of gen rush and tunneling but getting a sense of deja vu.
-
pc nurse while on console.
-
i enjoy playing against all killers unless they are tunneling.
-
i'm going to say yeah, no.
