Also, I know to expect a facecamp. I humbly accept my perdition and actually have grown to like it.

It is something beyond human control. It honestly used to make me spaz but playing with a mic, I learn why they do it. For some reason, arousing the killer's ire is funny. Not when one is killer, of course. It's a natural reaction to the role.
My friend plays on PC and he does this rapid fire flashlight clicking that makes me laugh really hard. Again, not funny when such is directed at me...but I understand now.

Perhaps occult influence.

I may. I will post here tonight. Actually, I know I do. Tonight.

Soon...such voices will only echo.

Ever since Saturday night, I have noticed killers playing Sadako that are insanely fast. Like I barely leave gen and make it to a tile nearby, then I get the odd match where things are fine, looping Sadako like normal.
I was using resilience and spine chill together today, got 4 Sadako's in a row, 3rd match killer tried to tunnel me but I was able to loop pretty easily for most of the match. Although did surprisingly catch me before I vaulted a second window on 2 L walls tile on Macmillan, did follow around the back of the first window, so didn't cut me off. In the last match on Dead Dawg, I vault 2 windows and the killer follows, then I go around back and should have a lot of space to get further away, I get downed instantly.
My understanding is Sadako can't attack when she is manifested, since Saturday I have seen Sadakos who were manifesting but then instantly downing people or myself. Maybe there is an addon that decreases the time it takes for her to reappear but the last killer on dead dawg was running "Old newspaper" and "Cabin Sign" addons with her 3 perks.
It seems very odd to me, I never noticed any issues with her speed, she was creepy but I could always make it to a pallet or window, since Saturday I barely make it to a tile and when I do, I still get downed instantly at the other side of the window, I don't mean threw a window, I mean they move around the wall and catch me quickly.
Has anyone else noticed anything like this? Guess it could be a speed hack being used but it's hard to say for sure, but she definitely seems too fast in some killers hands compared to others.
Firstly, I love the new killer but I have seen this wack warp speed thing as well. Today, I was standing back and watching her move and I know that could not be 115%. It was crazy fast. I don't think it was hacking as there was nothing else out of the ordinary. Also, I've seen these strange chases where she is suddenly somewhere that I know no other killer moves like that could do. I've played around 5000 hours, so I have some familiarity with such.

It absolutely has, Marc. Although tunneling was always here, it is now virtually every game. No jive. Facilitated by random survivors. Not sure if they are trolling or not. I find the suggestion of getting better at chases odd. It is fairly standard to be caught once. The ability to escape a tunneling killer is not real easy when teammates insist on unsafe unhooks. Unless one uses all meta perks, the odds are slim for earning bp at all. So, yeah...not a fan.

It is the old stutter we used to have when rpd map and nemesis were first released. I have seen it pull me back and push me forward several times.

I play survivor over 80% of the time. Feel free to see my response earlier in the thread.
I did. I found the post bizarre and contrary to my experience. I play solo most of the time and will get in a mic squad probably 10% of the time. I play solo because it is how the game is designed to be played. I am often surprised how often the game will get down to one gen. This game is quite balanced for solo play. If survivors don't do gens, we all die. I guess there is a lot of people who never get hooked once. One and done with randoms is the norm when solo. Randoms will consistently unhook in the killers face without bt. So, I blame random survivors for the tunneling. When playing with mics? We escape 70-80% of the time. Funny how that works.

I'm loving it. We have been getting strong gen defense perks for killer.
-
I forgot to add. "Every game being tunneled" is no exaggeration. It is now worse than ever.
-
I enjoy all of them except for PC deathslinger and trickster. Perhaps PC huntress as well. The aim is to precise to make the chases fun. I am glad all 3 are in the game though as it offers variety. Speaking specifically of console.

Over time, the game has come a long way. The issues of the last chapter fixed in less than a week. There really is no comparison to 4 or 5 years ago.
-
I am grateful they fixed the bugs. I am also grateful that nurse is back. In spite of my squawking, I should say that I will never fully comprehend how difficult making this game has been, nor fully appreciate the time spent fixing it.

Just as survivors should play killer to see what the necessity of tunneling looks like, killers should play say...10 games in a row as survivor. Perhaps take notes on the things you felt and how likely you were to keep cueing up. Just sayin' and I've been saying since the beginning...the game as is has had surprising longevity, given the type of feelings it invokes. I think the game could easily last another 5 years. I've played since day one on console and I still try to play a couple times a week.
Never played a game this long. The only impediment to playing is gen rush and tunneling. No, it isn't simply a matter of "getting better at chases". When in solo cue, I am frequently unhooked directly in front of campasaurus without borrowed time. Not once but immediately again.
I play killer...a lot. It has been a struggle but I haven't camped or tunneled in over two years. I realize I will never get better or even grow the community by playing like that. They want to rush gens and force that play style in me? I'll open the gate for them. Put a distance between myself and them with mmr. The perks killers have available now, make it so tunneling is unnecessary. I don't play high mmr though. Nor do I want to.
