Ive noticed this too but its only bugged while in the menus/lobby, they look normal when in a trial.
I'm playing on medium.

Resilience makes you vault 9% faster while injured, plus you do everything else faster, and plus, it stacks with spinechill. Consider running those if you want some really fast vaults.

The new Kindred will help, it won't counter anything but you'll know not to go for the save.
Insidious will be changed in patch 3.4 to also have the undetectable status, you wont be able to see their aura, but you can probably use the above mentioned (brain) to figure out whats going on.

Theres only so many places they can spawn totems, theres 7 generators, 4 survivors and 5 different totems they need to place around the map, if you dont spawn totems around points of interest where else can they do it. Has the title says, its high risk high reward, if you want a powerful buff then you are putting your perk slot on the line.
On a side note, the amount of survivor perks that rely on auras that have been coming out recently have made Hex: Third Seal not so useless. Obviously its not the best perk in the rooster, but since killers dont actively see the perk effect in action it has gotten a lot of unfair criticism.

how does spending money work? i thought it just gave you better items to unlock, not complete challenges for you?
Its possble to spend 100 auric cells to bypass each Rift Tier. Completly overpriced obviously, but you never know how many will be dumb enought to purchase it.

You are totally right, these challenges look absolutely insane, I'm not sure how they expect someone to save 3 guys while endgame collapse is happening. Completly insane.

@Freudentrauma What you described I would not consider as stealth, that is mind games and smart movement. Obviously I do my best to do this and lose the nurse and, if the map is favorable and the nurse cant track for crap, I usually get away. Keep in mind that I tend to run Iron Will and Lightweight because this is my prefered playstyle in general, I avoid using pallets and I try to lose the killer instead. The problem is that if the nurse is any good theres no amount of mind games that are going to save you, the fatigue doesnt last that long and she can blink right afterwards. She will be right back on you in no time and you are going to die.

She won't be reworked until all killers are at billy level, cause shes the only killer that's viable against tryhard swf, with the best perks and add ons, and that shes a necessary evil in the game.
Ands whats your definition of an actual killer? Low tier killers like legion or freddy, or mid tier killers like huntress or micheal? I doubt you consider high tier killers as actual killers since Nurse is a high tier killer, some survivors are calling billy op and a "crutch" killer like you are trying to suggest to nurse. So whats your definition of an actual killer?
Nurse is an actual killer that requires alot of time to learn her blinks and her mechanic.
I consider an actual killer to be any killer besides nurse. Billy isnt op at all, he has counter play and you can still try to juke him even in the open.
I dont like the argument of "we need her because of swf" since when I play survivor I really enjoy playing solo survivor but I still get matched with nurse after nurse.
People that claim that you just need to counter her with stealth probably dont know how the game works. Theres generators on the map that need to be repaired, you cant repair generators from a corner of the map, also stealth isnt gonna help you when all your teammates are getting slugged with 5 generators remaining.
Maybe its just me but when I play killer I dont want to have a 95% chance to get at least a 3k, it just doesnt appeal to me. Id rather play anything else and make it actually mean something when I get that 4k against the squadettes.

It means nothing, they cost as much as a farmable DLC while not being farmable. I'm okay with the farmable dlcs costing 7 euros, but not so much about the licensed ones.
It actually means something, they have a contract with the licensers, they cant just give a cut of a free currency to the licensers, thats not how it works.

Ok, OP I agree with you about the DCS but this is a step to far. You don't deserve a 4k every round for spending time to learn a killer. That's like saying sorry killers but we spend 1k hours playing survivor we deserve a 4 man escape every round. Nurse is not that hard to master I learned her in 2 days tops you don't deserve a 4k every round you earn them Nurse basically does that anyways because survivors won't try to use her counters against her but that's another topic.
I played nurse once to get the adept and guess what, first try, at red ranks too. I dont get this "shes hard to master" argument.
-
Well this obviously just a concept and I dont see them introducing new add-ons in the near future.
This is mostly something I wish they remembered to add from the get go, even before technician.

"The Nurse is meant to be broken. Her brokenness is a reward for the amount of time and effort it takes to get good at her. Don't like it? DON'T PLAY THE GAME."
My bad. I missed that statement by the devs. Can you show me where to find it?
Just ignore him, she cant stay like this for too long. One day we shall get a rework and this kind of player will have to learn how to play an actual killer for a change.

The boxs have sabotage add ons, and there's saboteur perk, one thing doesnt negate the other.
-
I dont think the licenced DLCs revenue is just for behaviour, I'm pretty sure the lincense holders also get a cut. Also, dont forget about steams cut.
-
I saw this happen while watching a friend of mines stream, he was using a rainbow map and white ward. The killer disconnected and post match he had one less map then he had started with.

They key needs to be useful on its own, because it's fairly common to find it in a chest and when I do I feel like rage-quitting.
I like the idea that it can open the hatch under specific conditions. That the killer must have closed the hatch sounds like a good prerequisite, I would also add in that you need to have been hooked by the killer at least once -- idea is you slipped a hand into his pocket while you were being hooked to find a piece of the key and some super glue.
That added requirement makes it so that you can't get out by just hiding in lockers, you need to risk some blood.
Your proposal is so convoluted and random I dont think it would ever be implemented.
I also think the key should do something on its own but I dont think opening the hatch is the right ideia.
-
I dont think the key should be able to open the hatch, maybe it could have a buff to the aura reading timer since you kind of need to bring at least one timer increase to be able to use it, wasting an add on slot in the process.
Although there was a recent fix to the mind channeling and the map reading, so it only deplits the item charges when the bar is full and not while it is filling, it still fells a little underwhelming to only have 10 seconds of usage.
-
Hey sorry if you took my comment has stupid criticism, it was mostly out of frustration. I understand your motives for this proposal but you should keep it in mind that this toggle could have a very drastic impact in an already unpredictable queue time for matchmaking. Also, would the solo survivor that gets matched with a 3 man SWF squad get any benefits? It's not hes fault hes gonna get a sweatier killer.
Maybe an easier fix is to just prevent dodging by not letting the killer see the survivors?
-
I also want a toggle to not play with nurses or billys, oh and I also dont want to get moried.
—less Dc's
—nurse mains may learn to behave themselves a little better or risk shrinking the pool of survivors willing to deal with them

Technician: am I just a joke to you
They would stack, maybe making technician actually useful.

When looping, you usually have to use windows, if you are at a jungle gym, you either skip the loop in the first window vault or you waste the perk, its condition is a little hindering in my opinion, balanced landing users pathing usually involves using hills or the main buildings to extend the chase by being able to reach another loop or just to waste more of the killers time. It also has a passive effect wich helps a lot in most maps.
Its obviously playstyle dependant, if you dont use balanced landing often your brain isnt wired to find the high places, and you might think of the perk has a waste when you cant find a suitable place to use it.
-
The pig is already a weakish killer soon to be nerfed, removing her only advantage, the time waster, would just remove any viability that she had in the first place. The traps arent built to kill you, they are made just to waste your time.

There are a bunch of confirmed outfits that havent been released yet, probably around 10. This dress for claudette is one of those, I am not sure when it will come out tho.
