Ghoul matches have died down a lot for me. I still see him but it's not as regular now.
-
My friends and I got a lovely streamer for a team mate in one of our games last night. She was on around 180 ping. We're on the U.K. servers. We went in and said gg to her afterward, and she was from U.S. west.
-
Yeah the servers are down. I checked in with a few people who are streaming Dbd and they're all having the same issue.
-
Always warms my heart to see my boy Mikey in the top 10.
-
Thank goodness. Much needed changes.

Yeah he said the groaning storehouse but idk if we need the flashlight McCote was talking about either cause the storehouse has a Cypher we would also need to translate. But with McCote's interview he did say the shed would be the "Language Wheel" which is very interesting ngl
Michael Myers is here. I love you, Mikey.

Yeah I haven't touched killer on this event other than to do the tome challenges. Its miserable. Its not surprising its infested with Ghouls.

I've done every single one legitimately except that ridiculous one where you had to hit two people with one Corrupt purge spray twice in one trial as Plague. I somehow got some random survivors to let me farm it after we went into farm mode
Oh gosh I remember that one. Nightmare fuel.
-
Yes. When I got my Evil Incarnate achievement 😉
Seriously yes it's happened like when I was going for adept on killers like old Freddy and Pig. I remember the Freddy one was on garden of pain. That was rough.
-
I didn't know unhook spamming was that much of an issue. I can't remember the last time I saw someone doing it.
The haste no longer stacking is going to kill a lot of builds on both sides.
-
I'm watching Zubat play survivor on it. Not surprisingly his matches are miserable because of the Ghoul.
-
That's terrific news for all the grinders out there.

Really? So the killer doesn't have to walk across a big map if the gens get split? And the pallets aren't playable, including the park loops and car loops, and so every chase is no more than 20 seconds?
Translation: It's an easy win map for any competent killer so it's perfectly fine. We don't have to deal with decent loops and every single gen is in easy reach.
I've seen some hardcore biased opinions on here but that's next level. Tier 1 Myers could patrol the current Haddonfield easily.
-
@rysm said:
In what way is it unplayable?
It's the size of a shoe box and 90% of the loops are very unsafe.
-
I am ok with this list. I don't want Mikey thought of as cute.
-
You'll have counterplay once they give him some cool downs. At the moment they can easily injure you, then zone you with their power then instantly cancel it and down you.
Until that gets changed with some proper cool downs there's not much you can do.
-
I don't think we'll ever reach the lows of hell that were those early SM days again.

Wonder why mine didn't :(
Dwight supremacy? 🤔😉
-
Mine came through ok. It let me go over the two million BP cap too.
-
I was having trouble logging in on PS5 but eventually I got in. I saw other console players say they had the same issue too.
-
Hag, Twins, Trickster.
-
Hey congrats. I love when people capture the moment they P100 one of their mains on video. I did the same for both Dwight and Mikey.
-
Absolutely not. Experience and prestige don't go hand in hand. I could P100 Hag without ever playing her.
-
Depends on the killer honestly. Cop out answer I know but its the truth. Some killers are miserable to face in chase. Others are fun.
-
First main: Laurie and Myers
Current main: Dwight and Myers
Fav map: Coal Tower
Fav perk: Bond
Fav item: Med-kit
Fav chapter: Halloween
How many p100s?: Two - Dwight and Myers
Hours: Approx 9k
-
I just watched Zubat get hard tunneled out at 5 gens by a P100 Nurse. Really sums up the shuffle.
-
As a long time Mikey main, him getting some love and attention with those buffs was a huge W.
I loathe the finisher mori. Has just encouraged slugging.

I mean it's not really hard it's just unrewarding. The fact is no matter how good you are you're at the mercy of a horrible matchmaking.
That's why its hard. Because regardless of your skill level you can be crippled by your team mates.
-
I'd like some official stats in general. Killer pick rates and their kill rates. Survivor pick rates, escape rates etc. Lets see where we're at now.
-
Yeah it depends on so many variables. You expect a Wraith chasing on Badham to go on longer than a Nurse chasing on Coal Tower.
-
Solo queue is the hardest role in the game. Always has been.
-
I empathize a lot with Dweet. Shy, nerdy guy who has been an underdog most of his life. I love that he found his inner strength in the fog and actually rose up to leader status among the survivors.
Aside from that he's got great cosmetics, I love his voice, and he's just an adorable little nerd.
-
I can't play the shuffle as survivor. Practically every killer I get is just hardcore tunneling because they know they're safe to do it with no anti tunnel perks likely in play.
It's miserable.
-
I enjoyed this game. It tied in well to the Dbd lore.
-
As a Mikey main I am sad. They need to alter the add on, vanity mirror too, because they are going to be pointless after the map offering change.
-
Stronger than he used to be, but still boring to play and face.
-
Bots do gens and go for hook saves. Makes them better than a lot of solo queue team mates out there.
-
Probably who ever asked for four other variants of Badham; nobody.

No, I'm acting like this is a game where people want to spend time doing what they enjoy with the skin they enjoy and want to get the stuff that they just do to get a challenge (to get the points from it) out of the way asap. And it's precisely because most people don't have a lot of time to complete the rift that they want to get it over with quickly — especially if it forces them to play a character that they don't usually play, don't have the skins they like on and might not have all the perks they like unlocked on as well.
No you're acting like there's a very restricted time frame to do it, and that you need a load of meta perks in order to escape a match. You can escape a match without relying on the meta and you have plenty of time to do these tomes. They do up be up for months.
We're just going to have to agree to disagree. I think you're making something out of nothing. I know solo queue is no picnic but it's not difficult by any stretch of the imagination to play normally and escape.

it's not about rat or not; it's about how to get over with it asap. And I don't blame the player for that but bhvr. (I forgot earlier; but you're also locked into a specific character for that and one big part of survivor is playing with the skins/outfits you like) — Overall, it's really just … not smart dev-vise to do it that way. It falls into the same category as "hook all four survs in the basement"-challenges. They're just unhealthy. There's no upside to it. Devs should not make players have two conflicting interests ("being a good sport" vs "getting the challenge done efficiently" ; this should never be mutually exclusive. It should always go in tandem).
You're acting like players have 24 hours or something to do these challenges. What difference does it make if you're locked into a character. Survivors are just skins.

No, it's a bhvr issue for putting a challenge that happens once in a blue moon on a specific character and putting a time limit on it. Holding players accountable for something devs put there is unreasonable. Hold the devs accountable; these challenges should not be there.
I don't buy into that logic. When you have the free will choice to do something in a wholesome way or a rat way and you opt for the rat way then that's a player issue. It's as simple as that. The challenge can be done without screwing your team over.
-
Is this the one where you have to get an end game hook save? I did it last night with no issues.

Comparing Dailies and Challenges is comparing apples to oranges; you can just skip dailies and get a new/different one, you don't get *rift fragments from dailies and you don't need a daily to progress through a set that has to be completed within limited time and comes with special rewards (Rift). 8 Rift fragments are nothing to scoff at. So nah, these challenges should not exist in the Archive except as "bonus nodes" that only give you BP and unlock stories (cause that doesn't go away after the rift is closed).
Whether its a daily or a tome challenge, you're getting a reward for doing it. But that's not the point at all. You can do it without playing like a rat. The problem is not the challenge, its the player that chooses to do it that way. That's the point. If someone opts to screw over their team to do a challenge then that's a player issue.
-
I mean there's dailys that require you to escape as certain survivors. People who choose to do these kinds of tasks with rat builds are the problem. Not the challenge itself.
-
Its a lonely life out there as killer. You by yourself against four people. I get why people feel anxious.
-
Mikey;
Perks: Pwyf, Nemesis, Surge, Friends til the end.
Add ons; Judith's journal and J Myers memorial.
Basically you get constant obsessions whether you're hooking survivors or getting stunned, always farming your pwyf stacks, you're always zooming fast, and the Judith's journal add on lets you get stalk 40% faster from the obsession so you're constantly popping tier 3's.
All credit to Stalky boi for this fantastic Mikey build.
-
I had three hacking Nurses last night.
-
This sucks for any Pinhead enjoyers. I won't pretend I am sad about this. He's one of my least favorite killers to face.
Though saying that I don't see him much as it is. This will make him even more rare. Again not sad about that. Maybe they'll get him back again like they did with Stranger Things.
-
It's most effective for end game hooks when the anti camp is disabled. But that can be situational.
