Killers being frightened of a perk. Its gettin even more ridiculous.
You're trying too hard to troll tbh, majority of killers LOL at DH, most of the time the survs barely use it to get anywhere and DH into a wall or right in the open and we bait it out so easy.
As others state above, majority of deadhard users cant loop or do anything to begin with and go down instantly because most killers bait out DH every hit

I get the no cooldown sabo hacks almost daily. Sometimes I don't notice in the match during alkl the excitement but I rewatch many of my matches and will notice stuff I missed.
They seem to be able to start saboing a hook, get hit sabo it again and get the sabo in like 1 second animation, have iot on video in like 4 diff matches from the past couple weeks

Nah, they should give noed the same love they give to MoM
they did
noed was nerfed numerous times into the nerfed hex version we have today and they still complain

The argument isn't that NOED shouldn't be run. The argument is that it hinders new killers from learning the skills they need to have at higher MMR.
I agree killers should learn without it. When I started I didn’t use ruin or noed.

he also has yt videos showcasing “strongest killer builds” and runs noed on some killers and he even ran it in some of his streaks.

For survivor, I agree.
yeah killer can get 24k 10 hooks and 3k and still no pip.
So easy
-
The way I see it, deadhard denies the killer kills, hook states, hits in almost every single match, its a give and take. How many heals does a boon provide each match? Noed you get what 2 downs maybe?
Noed just gives an extra health state sometimes.
So tired of noed = rewarding bad plays. If that's the case, Deadhard rewards more bad plays than noed ever will.
Not to mention Otz ran it I think in his Trickster streak, wonder why, guess he a bad killer

Bringing NOED means that you know from the lobby that you lost all the gens before the game even starts. Kinda sad.
Or, because the game has endgame perk builds, you have a different strategy than the one they expect.
Shaming a killer for playing endgame builds, while the game literally encourages end game builds is the same as survivors expecting you to play a specific way.
Go cry for the devs to delete No Way Out, Blood Warden bro. I think end game builds are not only fun but mixes the game up.
Kinda sad you guys play the game doing the same thing over and over and over - 4 gen slow down perks rinse and repeat.
Must be boring to play that way considering the game encourages off meta builds like end game builds which I enjoy
I assure you, what you think does not matter at all.
edit: I do not run noed on every killer like its some competitive crutch to get kills, but it has its place in some builds or if its all you have. RN I have 50+ cakes to burn on Pyramid and dont have ruin, so running it on Pyramidhead and LOLing at the results. Noed is literally strongest perk I have on him the only purple tier 3 perk... Oh goodness what will I do some guy on the forums thinks NOED = bad killer.
Its obvious ppl like you take the game way too seriously

It doesn't work like that. It punishes survivors for ignoring totem, but also rewards killer for literally nothing. Losing match is no real reason to just get free exposed on everyone.
That is your opinion. And is survivor main rhetoric. I can tell because you assume the game is over when the gens pop. No Meg, game is over when you leave the gates. Killer has not lost until you leave the exit gate.
NOED is one of the funnest perks in the current meta with boons and healing so much, I run it instead of ruin on some killers. Go ahead, pop all the gens, I don't care. Survivors expect killers to play a certain way, I refuse to run 4 slow down perks, I rather run noed and just meme on you.
Its called having fun. 3 genning every match running gen slowdown perks is boring. Noed makes me LOL IRL>
My favorite part about noed is it forces survs to leave at end of game, either find the totem or go... no 99ing the gates teabagging, I prefer faster games without ruin tbh.
-
NOED rewards the killer for playing with 3 perks entire match. It's like Adrenaline.
-
I been trolling with noed builds instead of gen slowdowns, letting the gens fly and having faster games and not protecting gens all match, sometimes I 4k at 5 gens and never even need noed, sometimes they do all the gens fast and I still get the 4k, it makes me laugh...often they clense noed so quick it does nothing.
Running 4 gen slow down perks is boring.
noed is fun, idc what anyone says.
-
definitely something happening, I have noticed them aiming at floor too what are they doing? exploiting something probably
-
I have been leveling Pyramid to p3 before prstige rewards and I dont have many perks unlocked as I grind up p2... been running noed instead. I have like 100 cakes I gotta burn so dont care win or lose gotta go through these matches fast
Guess what? I am enjoying the faster games and the outcome is still the same, I am beginnning to prefer the faster matches without all the gen protection LOL
noed over ruin baby they never do all the bones, and it forces them to leave the match and not toy around, its great
-
Because balance!
Survivors can destroy killers hex and it never comes back without a perk!
So it only makes sense that a killer can snuff out a boon but they can put it back over and over and over. Gonna need a perk if you want to be equal to their basekit
Thats balance!!

Very unlikely, because this would mean you could reach easy lvl 50+ on both characters when the new content would come out. Devs allready said in the past they don't want people just have everything within few minutes when the new content comes, which is understandable (you can still have it if you saved a lot of Tomes or have refund of BP from support).
"because this would mean you could reach easy lvl 50+ on both characters when the new content would come out."
So tired of this parroted line. With tomes this excuse is no longer valid.
What a crime! Imagine someone playing the game to acquire points to level up a character.
Ppl like that should be banned!

https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/324625/killers-shouldnt-drop-survivors
the devs pamper the survivors. first the toolbox shouldn't allow hook sabotage, the toolbox is OP, because it does 2 important things: fast repair and hook sabo. secondly I play since a year ago and Devs always "forgot" to display the drop survivor UI button on the screen. I'm pretty sure a UI notification appears on the screen for survivors. E for deadhard, but the drop suvivor UI notification never appears, so less killers drop survivors. and thirdly even when you press the button, many times the killer doesn't drop the survivor.
you can press R, hold down R, it seems to work sometimes LOL
why is it so non responsive to pressing the key?
Imagine if the E key was so non responsive.

Imagine that you are finally going to get some boil over vaule when suddenly the killer drops you. Worse yet, you see another survivor make a good sabotage play, then the killer drops you. The killer is able to maintain pressure in the game despite his bad play. Now teammates have to go find you and heal you. This is an unfair mechanic that should be removed.
"The killer is able to maintain pressure in the game despite his bad play."
Dropping you is the correct play
-
well then I should get Pop goes the weasel or BBQ stack for caging you.
See how it works?

The DCs on death hook are some of the most hilarious. ‘I’m gonna stick it to this killer by undoing all my earned points this match, and getting a timeout penalty!’
Had one DC last night after a long 15+ minute match where I had them 3genned. Dude sat through entire match until I downed him at end, then DC.
LOL

Survivors about Devour Hope: a hex instadown is totally balanced
Survivors about NOED: a hex instadown that only spawns at the end of the game is totally unfair and rewards bad players

An incredibly easy way to fix Dead Hard is remove the invulnerability, and add a 3 second period where you cannot vault or pull down pallets after using it. That way it would purely be a tool to dodge attacks, maybe you could even gain a speed boost for a second or so if you manage to dodge an attack with it.
the DH pallet thing is kinda BS
-
no more caked, after grind reduction cakes will no longer be needed
-
awww someone got deepwounded
-
If every char got them, it wouldn't be special
-
Allow me:
Tunneling refers to tunnel vision meaning focused only on one survivor. You can see it done sometimes, killer will run right past someone on a gen to continue chasing the Feng that teabagged them at the pallet. They will focus on one surv throwing entire game, "tunneling them" out the match.
Survs began using it to refer to downing someone off the hook. What killers view as disrespect, unhooking in front our face, survs began using their unsafe unhooks to label punishing such a bad play... downing the person unhooked as tunneling. When really, youre punishing a bad play.
They like to make things up by killer actions, when really , the punishment comes from their bad play.

I wish we could keep lobby backgrounds from the past though like the Halloween ones

If you are on the ground as last one, its over. Sorry bout your flip flop bro.
You had your chances to DS during the match, you had your Deliverance, its now time to die.
-
no, because I play survs not using any of their character perks. Example, I dont run DS when playing Laurie
-
BT is not a necessity because of killers tunneling.
BT is necessity because of the unsafe hook rush meta.
They blame killers for their unsafe unhook meta. They created the problem and want to get base BT because they play bad

I got all perks on all killers and I only prestiged one cause I didn't see any value in doing otherwise.
I'm a bit concerned with the progression update. I think it's a good change but I know that BHVR can mess up a lot with this kind of update (legacy cosmetics and Bubba faces to name a few).
I don't want to lose my full perks completion on all killers. And I sure don't want them to give me zillions of bp to spend with a complete reset of my progression.
The week before the update I will screenshot every perks I have on every character to have a proof of my account actual state.

Funny response coming from someone crying about potential BBQ changes but I'll bite.
-the 4% escape attempts are a part of the game. If the other 3 survivors got the attempt, the last person should too. And if the killer IS there and smacks them down? More points for the killer hit, and more points for the last hook.
-If there are 2 people left, one is downed with DS and the other leaves, why shouldn't you be allowed to use the perk you brought? Same applies to Deliverance if you're on first hook as last survivor. If you survived that long in the match, why is it fair to render a perk useless?
-If a killer didn't properly utilize their hooks and has created a deadzone, why should they be rewarded with a free kill for their poor play? You WILL likely escape grasp with Boil Over, and in that case, rightfully so. Killers fault for wasting hooks. Same as a 3 gen. Why should survivors get rewarded with an escape for boxing themselves in and not paying attention to what gens they're popping?
Stinks of an entitled killer who just wants a free NOED at endgame without using a perk slot.
you must have me confused with someone, I posted in a BBQ thread "I was torn that on one hand I love BBQ but also want to be able run builds without it. And that nerfing BBQ would ween killers off of it." So your sleuthing although creepy, not accurate. Imagine digging through old posts to reply to a current post.
Noed gives a speed boost and an instadown, nothing to do with moris on last person.

Oh, okay. So alternate ideas and reasons why the change may not feel natural to the flow of the game is entitled now.
Got it.
expecting multiple chances to jump off hook with a 4% chance, expecting to be able to DS the killer after you are last one downed, expecting to use boil over/flip flop because you crawled to a corner as last down.... repeat infinit....
yes, entitlement is the only reason someone would think this way. You are dead, game is over.
-
This thread brought to you by the letter E.
E for Entitled.
You're down, you dead. No more chances. Accept your fate
-
"why the finisher mori is an issue?"
Because despite the survivor being in dying state on the ground, and the last one.... they still feel entitled to one more chance.
Nothing else.
-
"How to not interpret statistics"
Using the fact killers run BBQ for points more than auras to say BBQ is meta.

I no longer play to win. 4 bbq stacks and 2 hooks on everyone is my goal. After that I try and max out the bp categories for maximum bp gains per trial and do some tome challenges
they won't believe you, they think every killer camps and slugs for 4k every match.
I too play for stacks.
killers feel the need to run BBQ for BP because wwe cannot play the killers in roster without upgrading them.
lets be honest, almost everytime BBQ procs in a nice higher level match, you only get 1 aura, and its Bill on the other side of the map, the other two are within your terror radius rushing the hook.
don't be a camper boys, take 10 mins to walk across map to BBQ aura and let them unhook!
-
You guys falling for it, these things will be changed before live bros, always is

Notice the killer perks are all gen slowdown in that BTW except BBQ LOL
that image says a lot about the game right now.
Also deadhard at the top on surv side so I guess its getting nerfed with BBQ??

I'm surprised whenever I see people write they don't care about the aura reading part or they only use BBQ for the double bp. Like I use the perk for the aura reading and with the double BP as a bonus. It's always nice to know where to go after hooking someone.
Though, they did say there were gonna look at why these meta perks were being used this much and make some changes to the base game. I could easily see them making BBQ basekit, since one of their goals is to encourage killers to camp and tunnel less and BBQ is perfect at that.
Because some of us use it on killers that literally have no way of getting across the map in time.
I run BBQ on Clown, Hag etc,.. I told myself I will stop running BBQ when I p3 all killers. However I am almost there just a few to go so I guess they can reduce the BP now LOL
only survs think BBQ is meta, its basically a handicap on some killers just like I run WGLF on survs, which gives more than just BP
"they did say there were gonna look at why these meta perks were being used"
so devs dont really know why we run it, but every surv main does?

There's a difference between not liking something and being extremely superficial and disappointed/angry over a character you don't think is attractive. It's honestly so pathetic. And the fact you're defending it as "not liking it" is just as bad. BHVR is under no obligation to make every survivor extremely attractive.
I dont think they even understand.... its like "oh we are the most inclusive community"
except when they post their opinions their bias towards other humans comes across more evident than ever whether it is discussing specific killer builds, or the looks of new surv.
I like Nea and will play Haddie too
