Basekit wraith 👍

Walls are a very one sided benefit for survivors.
As far as an interesting addition for killers, it's a complete failure.
-
Knockout for me, it has been my replacement for gen perks since I stopped using hooks. Like many killer perks swf straight up ignores it but it's still fun and effective in solo matches.

There’s no chance that you’re avoiding hits after missing the stun. It’s literally a guaranteed hit to any killer with over 5 hours in the game.
Nothing is a guarantee, I have failed using this tactic but without trying I wouldn't know it can also succeed.

How are you managing to take action after the drop? Serious question because I'm struggling. If you dont get the hit, the pallet dissolves before the drop animation ends. Every single time I've dropped it and missed the stun, I've copped a hit a split second later. I can't move far enough because of how long I'm stuck in the drop animation
I'm using normal pallets, the event ones are extremely situational.

Stunning killer?
Sure, it's easy to stun baby killers but it's not easy to do this against veteran killers. And whenever you drop pallet, they can break it with event power and then chase you while pallet is removing from game. There is nothing survivor can do, only giving free hit.
Survivors have garbage powers but killers carried by these op, busted event powers. Hopefully next year we won't get similar scenario.
Disagree, that's not what I've experienced

I love how you are acting like it's same thing while it is not.
Breaking pallet yourself = Stucked in animation and you can't do anything while in animation.
Breaking pallet with event power = Just click Q which will start to break pallet. Turn one of the sides ( smart killers will choice the side which they can zone out survivor ) and get your free hit / down.
Yeah they are same, sure.
I stated I didn't see a difference in the time it's take to break the pallet. When the pallet is dropped and the actions that follow vastly change the outcome during this event.
My primary tactic has been to attempt the stun and then immediately move towards the strongest direction, seems to be working just fine. Is it 100% effective? No, but I'm seeing far better results then the teammates that try to stick around and gamble on the loop.

Yeah them zoning you out in deadzone is the same as them being there and breaking a pallet. /s
That's being outpositioned and personal choices play into that outcome. I don't blame the killer if I blindly run into an unfavorable map section, environmental awareness is on the survivors unless or its just gambling chances with every chase.

You've evidently not been playing it. Sometimes you have to drop early if you're on death hook and injured and the can use the event while running the loop which causes zero slow down at all
Been playing both sides and my stance is the same. Reading the situation and the type of loop/pallet goes a long way towards reaching the next loop. Knowing that a killer could potentially break the pallet with an invite; I purposefully stopped predropping pallet to negate the time save and steer away from a loops short side when possible.
-
Unless your dropping pallets early I don't see how it's problematic. Looks like it takes the same amount of time to break as kicking it, which still gives time to reach another loop or pallet.

We should leave it as is don't want a 2h penalty for someone having wifi issues
Keep the initial penalty, ramp up the ones that follow. It's forgivable/understandable to have one dc and then try to fix the issue while waiting it out. If it's a consistent issue, dodge high ping lobbies or play something offline until something can be done, but it's no excuse to allow salty quitting for petty reasons.

That's not hard to do these days
Some players make it easier and some make it difficult. There is no strategy for either side is 100% effective every game.
-
I dont think both sides equate when it comes to what makes a favorable map or in how the opposition has to address the obstacles they present.
Survivor maps usually consist of very large areas with wide gen spread, a multitude of strong pallets, linkable loops, and lots of LOS breaking objects.
Killer maps tend to be small with minimal gen spread, some pallets that can't be looped, loops which can't easily be linked, and dead zones where stealth becomes the primary tactic for survivors.

It's not uncommon at all to hook someone and turn around to see the other three running circles.
What is that anyway... when a survivor runs in a circle?
Maybe they wanna farm. Personally I just see a mistake on their part and opportunity on a silver platter for myself.

A killer gets in a corner and the can just camp/tunnel to the end
Survivor has fail at avoiding detection, then fail to escape the chase (sometimes 2 chases depending on the killer). Killer still needs to get a survivor down before they can capitalize from it.
-
Not something I see, from an individual perspective it just looks like them capitalizing on favorable opportunities.
-
It's very difficult for killers to snowball without survivors creating the opportunities.
-
It's easier for the survivors to blame the killer than admit their own failures provide the opportunity to begin with.
-
Because it's detrimental to ignore opportunity
-
Just my personal observation and maybe conspiracy theory, but whenever I see Survivor incentives I think it's to incentivize solo players to fill the gaps for all the Swift teams. I find it's quite common for me to be placed on teams with 2 to 3 man swf playing on a different platform.
I have a hard time believing there's ever truly a shortage of Survivor players.
-
Bots are here so now it's time to crank up the penalty for a dc.

What failure in the final moments are you talking about?
Failure to hide and avoid detection, then there's failing escape the chase (twice if healthy). Being outpositioned could be thrown in as well, but being spotted at a gate is forced exposure.

So....how do you never use hooks? Do you just slug them to death?
I take my chases when favorable, down them when possible, and leave to find my next target. I don't actually try to bleed anyone out, that's up to their teammates since everyone can tell when I'm chasing and are free to make the pickup. I try to use altruism to slow the match instead of gen and regression perks which equates to more interactions for everyone.

Free bt escapes that you had to complete all the gens and coordinate a 2 man save for, yeah, super free
Okay so we make it to egc, why do we deserve a guaranteed escape for failure in the final moments?
These forced time windows where the only options killers have are the least beneficial, now thats boring. Just turns any hook in the egc into a bp farming situation.
I'm seeing this as a major loss of engaging play for both sides and I don't even use hooks when playing killer.

What are you a tombstone Mikey main.
No I prefer Wraith and Ghostface
-
Condemned changes only weaken the effect and its already a joke.
-
Free bt escapes in egc weren't enough I guess, so glad I never use hooks.
-
Condemned is a joke now and the changes will only make it easier to avoid altogether.
-
The most hated killer strategies only get further cemented every time they implement another survivor safety net.
-
Where are people getting instant break pallets from?
Every time I've used the event power to break a pallet, it feels no shorter than if I kicked it normally. The only benefit I've seen is being able to move while I wait for the pallet to break.
Personally though, the invite powers equate to my least favorite event so far on both sides.
-
My no hook build
Sloppy Butcher, knockout, sceptic touch, fear monger
-
3 gen repair math favors survivors even with regression perks in play.
-
I'll take a few seconds extra in chase over having a chase completely reset.

I really wish I could have fun playing survivor. But every Killer seems to really suck at playing the game that they have to resort to tunneling and camping. Behavior needs to do something about the state of the game and the toxic way killers play.
If your dying, the killers are doing just fine. Try working on your stealth and chase breakaways.

@Dbdfan398 said:
I play survivor and killer equally. Killer has become much harder in my MMR.
People still heal really fast ( this was meant to be the slowdown to combat gen regression destruction ? )
It doesnt matter if I tunnel, or try to spread pressure. Gens are being done so fast I cant keep up.
If I hear a gen is 50% done, what am I meant to do? Are we actually meant to just let it get done?
If I go kick it, it does 2.5%, the survivor runs away and I chase them, another one gets right on it. Its lost like half a second progress. I go back, kick it again, survivors swap and vise verse. Then I have to just commit to one of them, and while I am the gen gets done.
Im feeling stuck as killer. I can only have fun on the top top tier killers now, and even those matches im literally sweating IRL. if theyre nerfed I think id be done as killer.
IMO this game is really losing its FUN factor. I am sweating in matches, but what for reason?
All I can suggest is that you play with your own objectives.
-
If they don't chase then the team can litterally tap the gens to victory.
-
In all my years playing I've had very few killers dc, maybe like 8. Over half of those were recent (this year) as those games the killer was completely outclassed and was lucky to get 1 hook.
-
Cause the devs try to handhold solo survivors and treat encounters as 1v1. Every other game accepts you may be solo but treats them as part of the team.
-
Lethal is trash value in comparison. Aura at the start to quickly start one chase doesn't compare to blocking 3 gens for all survivors.
Not saying lethal can't be good on the right killer with a tailored build, but the benefit is abysmal in the 4v1 scope. Your not even guaranteed that the survivor you pick won't just run and predrop every pallet, in which case a full perk slot wasted.
-
Completely unnecessary change for hag, but ofcourse crouching over them is just not enough.
-
Survivor is entirely to easy. When can I get a hardcore mode?
-
I use Solo savior builds when I play survivor. For killers I just play as the unfeeling monsters the survivors should be expecting.
-
It's the go to tactic for salty players and has been proven to sway the devs for changes.
-
Exactly, I'll be checking out for the next six months until the next original killer comes.
-
Knockout is the one solid perk that let's me enjoy killer my way. If the devs remove that, it'll be all downhill for my killer experience.
-
Might just be me, but I never want to have 100% safety while playing survivor. The killer being a constant threat is more engaging than mechanics forcing extra chances after failure.
-
Balancing around peak and optimal play would make the game balanced at every level.
-
Will feel so good to play wraith without having to equip Franklin's against a clicky squad.
-
Keep trying, it's a very satisfying escape
-
It's so rare to see totems destroyed, personally I always have a boon equipped just to counter hexes. As killer it seems that survivors just won't touch them and if they do its only to their benefit.
