Love watching teammates rush a huntress to force a miss only to get tagged with iridescent hatchet. 🤣
-
None, defeats the purpose of avoiding the killer. The more safety provided the less value the interaction.
-
I know, we Survivors have so much going for us I sometimes forget killers are suppose to be the power role. Thankfully we hold that over them for now.
-
I'd prefer a perk/offering that stops it from appearing until the last survivor regardless of gens completed.
-
For killers it's a gamble, whether it activates or is even needed.
For survivors it's punishment for being single minded with objectives and ignoring the dangers of letting totems go unbroken.
-
Survivors should learn to use the window before it's activation to counter it. Or use the time after the hook to move away from the aura reveal.
-
It will have no effect on tunneling. All it shows the killer is what stage the target is on and no one else has a hook yet, same as now.
Tunneling is one survivor at a time. Counter changes nothing in this situation.
What it could do is let the killer know one player is on first hook and allowing them to be last hook will deny them bp. Also aids in situations where the team has twins or more.
-
It's not a problem, just players utilizing a tactic to compensate for game designs that can harm performance and pips.
-
This is something that mainly applies to pc, but adjustments would affect everyone.
I remember when they adjusted oni for similar reasons. The changes had the intended affect for pc players but console players had to suffer as their turn rates are already lower then further restricted by the change.
Until devs can deliver a uniformed experience with frames and control response, I'd be wary of targeted control adjustments for maneuvers only some platforms can pull off.

Shrink the map down and convert it into a multi layer map like the game.
Top portion is the house with smaller fields containing junk/car obstacles, also corn but far less to avoid large dead zones
Bottom portion would be bubba's basement playground; meat cellar, torture room, labyrinth of pile junk and victims belongings, even throw in some tunnels leading into the fields around the house

Survivors have more control over killer emblems than the killers themselves. Restrictions are the least effective way of improvement. Make them bad enough and all killers will ignore them to play as they please while using survivor to earn bp instead.
-
Playing survivor I prefer to face "try hard" killers. Iridescent add-ons, old school mories, just high level plays all made/make survivor engaging and a fun challenge.
Playing killer I don't even bother with hooks anymore except for tome challenges. I spend the match chasing and slugging survivors to force teamwork. I'll let them all escape but only if they keep the entire team alive.
-
They go so fast in my games that I give the killer opportunity to kick them so I can ensure max repair points. Having all gens done by the time I'm halfway through my second gen is bad for my emblems.
-
Going where you know more survivors are is smarter than a blind patrol and single chase.
-
You obviously don't change your play style and try to force success with bad tactics. Doc has counter play.
-
It's Not the killers, just need to change play styles to address them individually. I have seen strong players but not any op designs.
-
Not that I have seen. Have had several swf give themselves to death after trolling all match.
-
Just watched him get looped at a fence with one pallet. The pallet never dropped and laceration regressed faster than he could get line of sight. His speed is fully exploitable.
-
Zero consequences to his power until you're hit with knife number 8 and slow speed makes him easy to loop.
-
More time has changed my thoughts. I was giving him to much respect as survivor and now see it was unwarranted. Playing against the Power is very forgiving in regression and he suffers from distance despite the long range. Definitely see performance suffering after the devs tone him down.
-
A solid design that destroys survivors not paying attention. I see more teammates go down to him because they don't show respect around small loops and pallets.
-
Provided they don't nerf his ammo to oblivion, I think his upside is not being heavily penalized for missing. A good range killer for new players on any platform.
-
So far I really like the killer. Will like him even more when I get a map appropriate skin.
-
I don't care for the current skin but hopeful for the future. Think it's good that devs are adding a killer easy to learn for new players. I also like the counter play he encourages.
-
I find it pointless and potentially demoralizing.
-
If we can have double pallets, let them have bloodlust.
-
It was a bad combo that only effects a single survivor in chase. Some survivors complaining about totems being hard was laughable as they have long been heavily unreliable due to placement.
Just personally I don't use hex perks because anyone of them that signals it's exsistance is broken shortly after.
-
Objective times are in survivor favor.
-
Not at all, aside from a lack of danger I find teammates block immersion. I now stick exclusively to solo survivor. I find it's the only way to get a challenge and fun out of a match.
-
Picture things going so well, at the end of the match you actually have to go back in to get chased and hooked so you don't depip.
Even just being boosted you can give the killer hooks and finish the objective with time to spare.
-
I hear you, thats why I leave unfinished gens for you to kick. You get more time to kill and I can max out my gen points.
-
I'd suggest making a Doe survivor. Someone with no history due to memory lose and forced to find themself within the realm of the entity. Let players impart personal theories and create a variety of skins that amount to multiple identities.
No reason devs need to mandate this specifically or suffer any form of backlash.
-
This map kills the survivor experience, I can go from one pallet to the next and the killer has no options to get me besides break it or find someone else. A game with no danger is boring.
-
True they don't have to. I do think it helps to make it more entertaining since high level play creates fast and uneventful snowballing.
Watching that most recent tournament felt very disconnected from my gaming experience. Only time I see survivors waiting around doing absolutely nothing like that is immediately after rank reset and they are bad survivors.
With high level play coordinated teams can give the killer multiple hooks knowing it's occupying them long enough to pop all the gens and they still escape.
Thought it was hilarious that they had to limit survivors so much.
-
Esports is a long way off thanks to casual balancing. Would be nice to see tournaments not have to make up rules to create balance.
-
Solo que is the best experience as survivor. I enjoy it far more and bad teammates deliver the horror experience, there's always a useless character in movies.
-
If you like the character, doesn't change the game. If you dislike the character, doesn't change the game. It's either a new addition to your play roster or not. That's just individual freedom and choice, but mainly it's just a game.
-
My point is it doesn't matter, it's just another person. All survivors are just skins and the only impact they have on the game is through perks.
-
Don't care, save the posts for when something important is announced Like perk details or the killer
-
I will miss facing freddy
-
Stealth and I don't mean hiding in the corner.
-
Hard to believe since gen speed is still an issue for both sides.
-
When a survivor really wants to blame killers despite publicly available facts🤨
-
I couldn't imagine devs giving a killer that kind of power. Even if they did it wouldn't be worth it because survivors aren't allowed to be overly pressured.
-
No, cause we can finish our objective by the time killer even has half of their's. Killers are on crunch time to get use out of perks.
-
A siren/banshee style killer, not a bad theory.
-
It depends on the killer and the perks, I use to at least level a killer to unlock them. Now I have several killers I will not play and a few perks I don't even want to pollute my blood web with.
Don't care about survivor, only leveled 3 of them and got my main with ash.
-
It's no mystery to me, survivors are the power role and it only makes sense Killers want to close the gap. I feel incredibly in control as a solo survivor, don't need to imagine how ridiculously easy things get once you add survive with friends to the mix.
-
Forfeit a normal match and tunnel the most annoying one first, 4 man slug & bleed out is all so acceptable
-
Don't care, only things that matters for survivor is if they have appealing skins and wether perks are worth the bp.
