That the thing with that idea if a killer need to hook a survivor 2 time before he is able to mori this cant be good i will just hook the survivor a third time and save myself the mori animation and 7k bp.

If i tell you all the survivor need to be hook 2 time before you can use your key are you still gonna use it i dont think you will do because i know for me i will never bring them

The key can only be used after the survivors repair the required number of gens and there's no guarantee that it would get to that point, whereas the killer hooks someone then hits them with Mori and all of a sudden, the momentum has changed in a matter of moments. I think requiring 2 hooks for Ebony Mori creates the balance against the key. I should also say that I've seen more Mori's brought in than keys though. Again, I'm fine with the Ivory Mori being what it is, but that Ebony should be reworked.

  • Only the Ebony Mori should be reworked because it can be used on everyone and it's a big gamechanger. Killers should have to hook a survivor twice before they can use it.

  • Like any video game studio, their goal is to create a good game that is enjoyable to all. The devs here go the extra mile to create and add content to this game. 4 years and we're still playing it, so they're doing something right.

That said, it's not a perfect game. I've watched PC playthroughs and while I can't say for sure, the game looks to be pretty polished. I play on PS4 and I can say that it often have moments of being buggy and slow on response time. The devs do their best to provide adequate updates, but I do believe that they overthink some of the changes (ruin, toolbox, which were made powerful thanks to ruin nerf and Gearhead, to name a few), while seemingly ignoring things such as the unrealistic hitboxes that killers have. I also don't understand having to pay for a killer(s) that's not licensed. I totally get having to pay for Pig, Michael Myers, Freddy, etc., but paying for dev created characters like Clown and Deathslinger is kinda absurd, especially in these days where most additional content on other games is free. The devs put out these surveys, which is great, if they actually use the feedback, which from my point of view, it doesn't seem like they did. But hopefully they will eventually listen to the fanbase and incorporate some, not all, of the changes that you and me have complained about.

  • Yeah I guess I can't complain much because I got it when it was free through PS Plus and only bought a couple of DLC, but I would still like a game with a tighter hit box.

It’s honestly pretty game ruining for me. If Killers are getting fed hits constantly, they need something nerfed to compensate. This game has been out way too long for hit boxes to still be this bad. I’d say put all your finances into making it a workable game and stop coming out with new content. I’ve never seen a game with bugs that last years. Sucks that I like this game so much.

I can't tell you how many times I've vaulted over a ledge and either took three steps, or was halfway down from a high area and got hit. It's so ridiculous that I can't do anything but laugh.

  • The Tall Man from the Phantasm movies would be one of my choices.

  • I agree! For a fat dude, he really gets around.

  • I've said in a few posts that the killers have plastic arms that can reach abnormal distances, it's crazy.

  • Hopefully there's a PS4 code someone is willing to give away, but I doubt it.

  • Deathslinger is Father Gascolgne from Bloodborne.

  • I'm just a Rank 12 and felt bad for the Rank 20 Doctor that we went against, he was having a very hard time.

  • I saw in an earlier post that he was nerfed because his shooting didn't affect the birds. I also saw a post saying he was OP. I'm trying to learn him and it isn't easy, but nothing I've seen suggests that he should be nerfed so far. I'm now 0-5 against him.

This is the classic person not to listen to. "Get better" isn't advice. Watch, hey Hag....be nicer. be less rude. be less condescending. be without your superiority complex. See?

100% agree. People like him and Big Bubby or whatever his name is offer nothing of value to help. It's true, console is not as precise as PC, so you have to make the necessary adjustments to have it work for you. It takes time, but eventually you'll get a good feel for it.

  • You all make looping sound frustrating for killers. You all should play more people like me, then there would be no talk about frustrating loops

  • Would the holes eventually level a building?

  • Gen speed is fine and Deathslinger looks to be a decent killer addition.

  • One of the biggest problems for survivors is the hit box. I vault jump to the other side and am a distance away when the killer somehow develops Bandersnatch arms from Res Evil Code Veronica and hits me. I especially like when it happens when I'm halfway down from vaulting through a high window and still get hit. This and slightly nerfing Moris would be all that I would do honestly, I think the killers are fine to play against, but I don't play with the intent to bully/farm/abuse, I just play the way the game is meant to be played and my death vs escape is about 50/50. Guess that means I suck, but you know what, can't win them all.

I’ve experienced the same thing 2 games in a row with different trappers, I’ve very recently been playing the game during my free time in between classes and work, and I’m trying to prestige my first character, and I’m messaged by the killer asking if I’ll “accidentally” step into his traps, he’ll let me get off the trap and proceed doing gens, I said yes because I needed blood points and he needed to do a rift challenge so it’s a win win, and I agreed, and he said he’ll let the whole survivor team live, so I guess he was in touch with the others as well, cos I saw the others doing the same thing as well, the next game was almost entirely similar, with the exception of I wasn’t messaged at all, it was just silently agreed to.

Now that's pretty neat! And mouse, I appreciate all the killers that play your style and the ones that show a little mercy. I'm horrible at killer, but am a fair, decent survivor that play the right way and doesn't bully. Sometimes I win, sometimes I get got, but I'm ok as long as it's a fair game.

I use Jane and let me tell you: injured survivor runs anywhere near you and the killer spots you they will switch to you even though you are healthy.

I see it in playthroughs that Jane is picked on quite a bit. Killers like chasing booty?

    Favoritism.

Also irrational hatred for certain survivors.

Won the heart of a Ghostface somehow yesterday and got the hatch. It happens.

Hmmm, so maybe if I use Kate or Jane, I could be granted a hatch or two, haha

  • If they nerf Moris, all the noob killers would stop playing...wait, maybe that's good thing? What they should do with Moris though, is wait until a survivor is hooked twice before it can be used on them. A key is useless unless the survivors repair the required number of gens, so there's no guarantee of it ever being used, whereas a Mori can be done on a survivor after hooking them, which is often a big advantage to the killer. Waiting until a survivor has been hooked twice is a reasonable nerf I think and would not be difficult for a skilled killer.

  • @Heartbound said:

Meh. The only hard part is that you can only blind one, the other is immune. (But both get blinded if you find the right one.)

Take advantage of the fact most killers are mindless npcs and loop them both like normal while the other 2 press gens.

    Gg ez.

    *clickclickclickclick*

That would be a good plan, except I was the only one doing gens (repaired 4). And then something weird happened where another survivor tried to unhook me and it kept stuttering while the killers sat there and watched. It was a very strange game.

  • Since the DQ change, I've seen more Mori's done in the games I play. I guess survivors rather give up than the alternative.

  • Hey, if we can complain about T-bagging at the exit gates, then I can complain about killers hitting hooked survivors.

  • I do ok against Clown, but I will say that for a fat dude, he's faster than some killers.

  • I'm HORRIBLE at looping, so while I struggle against stealth killers (except Michael Myers), I loathe The Wraith! He's my Achilles heel, no doubt.

  • @meatisadelicacy said:

Yeah I never look for the hatch since the EGC change. My last teammate is undoubtably camping it while I try to finish gens, so I know the killer knows where it is. Most of the time, I'm right, and it's closed as soon as the last teammate dies. I just wait near a gate and hope I get lucky. There's really nothing else you can do.

This is what I do. Aside from the fact that I can NEVER locate the hatch when I need it, I just wait for the killer to close it and go for the gate. I've been surprisingly lucky with escaping more often than not.

  • I don't run DS unless I'm getting a lot of killer attention in sessions and I run trials with randoms mostly.

You know that Self Caring with Sloppy Butcher (a very common perk) activated takes a ridiculous 40 seconds or something to heal, right? It’s undoubtedly better to take a medkit or something like Inner Strength, or even Bond to find teammates that can heal you.

I don't see a lot of Sloppy Butcher in my matches. What does happen is that survivors usually run off after unhooking, so I much rather have Self Care than try to find survivors to heal me. Sometimes I do bring med kits, but eventually they will deplete and I like the convenience of SC.

  • @Rey_512 said:

    1) Don’t run Urban Evasion. Learn to loop, hide better or just start running to a safer area.

    2) Don’t run Self Care. Bring a medkit instead.

    3) If you see that a survivor is getting chased, you no longer have an excuse to play stealthy and walk/crouch.

    4) Don’t let the killer generate pressure because you wan’t to “save” your Sprint Burst while going to the next gen or making a hook save.

I agree with this, except for #2. I don't have Urban Evasion so I can't comment on that, but I see nothing wrong with someone using it. I would say that under NO circumstances should No Mither be used, you're just a liability to the other survivors.

  • I guess I'm not as good as you guys to have a real hatred for the maps. The reason why I don't like indoor maps is because I'm just not good at them. All I can do is try and get better. The other maps, I don't have any major issues, some maps specifically offer advantages to both the killer and survivor IMO. I win some and I lose some, but I enjoy playing on them overall.

  • What about killers that grief hooked survivors? Do you feel that's unsportsmanlike too?

  • Survivor here. I don't like any indoor maps, except the remade hospital.

  • What's the difference between this and the killer taking shots at a hooked survivor? It goes both ways, even if it isn't right.
