2 botton promt to use an ability that need good timing. Yikes !_!
It's not a 2 button prompt, technically. It's a hold LT and press RT.

He is balanced and the character isn't the problem. It's how he's played. I have genuinely won so many matches because of how unforgiving the shred cooldown is. I have managed to juke him into hitting a wall, taken him to a pallet, looped, juke, pallet, looped and repeated till all gens are done or I'm hooked with one gen to go. I get saved then boom gen done by me and others, open door, juke to avoid NOED (which all of the demo's I played against had) and leave. EDIT: I am a Green Rank survivor. This was against Green Rank Demo's.

10K ?
Killers run BBQ so that's 20K at least in extra BP.
This is an easy way to tell if someone is a new player. Saying 20k is a lot of Bloodpoints. After like level 20 in blood webs, it takes like 20 thousand to level up. At level 50, get ready to burn like 2 matches on one level. Also, not every killer runs BBQ. Only Leatherface has it and it has rarely ever appeared in SoS (Shrine of Secrets.) If you haven't levelled up leatherface, then according to your logic, they should only earn 10k in a match. Also, the average is around 25k per match at base assuming you do atleast 2 hooks.

"The short version, while it may not always be perfect, it stops everyone from being permanently stuck at rank 1 - 4, leaving the rest of the ranks barren (making queue times super long for anyone outside that range"). Last point doesn't exactly stick when you realise that people, including me, are having matches against red ranks at yellow and new ranks (rank 14-20)

Yes the point of this hex is to help other hexes like or hate it.
Also just realised that you deleted one of your posts so that now one of my comments makes no sense.

It also stop notification 100% try it out with a friend. I agree it isn't exactly an "aura reading" but apparently the game still include it.
Hey, don't make a claim without evidence. Show me evidence or maybe a pic or video. You can't expect me to believe wild claims. Especially if these claims aren't true. Read the wiki. They will always list other unknown uses and there is no mention to it. https://deadbydaylight.gamepedia.com/Distortion

Lbh how many times do you notice the notification when ppl are cleansing your totems and you run ToTH ?
Also, Distortion would prevent the notification like it does for the crows.
Alot, actually. TOTH has saved multiple games where Ruin is in jeopardy. Distortion does not stop notifications. It stops AURA readings. If it was changed to then yeah but currently it does not affect the perk. Even so, using perks to band-aid other perks isn't a good way to make a perk. It's like if someone made an anti-NOED perk. EVERYONE would use it. It would be instant meta as it counters a good perk.

Calm Spirit does nothing against the screaming unless they re worked it and your perk has no aura reading capabilities. Also, I'm not complaining about NOED and TOTH, I'm saying that TOTH NOED and this perk together would be the indefinite meta maybe plus Barbeque.
Just realised that calm spirit does stop screaming but the notification would still be sent meaning that it's worthless.

Yes that’s exactly what I said and I am correct in that statement. I don’t see as somebody telling another person to “Do your research!” and also telling me my ego got in the way isn’t respectful at all. Which is in a word, toxic.
But you saying you can't stop them from conveying their thoughts but then telling them that if their thoughts are disrespectful then you shouldn't convey them are contradicting eachother.

I always bring it and another gen stopper perk as well. I don't bother trying to protect it.
Even if it distracts 3 survivors for 20 seconds that's a minute saved. Its worth it. That's 1 gen. Often it lasts a bit longer than that.
Every time I try a 'fun' build its only fun for the survivors.
Hex: Ruin my Life, Hex: Hill of the Thrunt, Hex: Sing Song Ding Dong and Charbeque and Billi. Watch them freak out as soon as they start doing gens and realise they have like 8% regression on Good Skill Checks and more on misses. Or replace Charb with No One Escapes Mom's spaghetti and watch them do 3 totems and miss NOED.

This is fair. Perks like Distortion and calm spirit would still apply.
Calm Spirit and Distortion have no affect on it. Calm Spirit affects Crows. Distortion is Aura Reading. As a matter of fact no perks would fix this as of update 3.2.1 This isn't fair for reasons already described in my other posts and that there is barely any counters to the TOTH,NOED and Cap Energy combo.

Ok first of all I am no lady. Secondly, nobody is saying you don’t have the right convey what you think, but to do so in a respectful manner which you have not done. Lastly, it is subjective to say Lullaby is useless, as it can be quite devastating if used correctly. So if you’ll excuse me.
Also, by saying he can't say what he wants in a respectful manner but he can convey what he thinks, you just contradicted yourself. He could be thinking "OMG THIS GUYS AN IDIOT XDXDXD" And you saying he can't convey that directly contradicts your second sentence, finally, it is also subjective to say it is good. I personally like it as it adds extra regression and pairs well with RUIN.

It turns off once the gate are powered so basically deactivated once noed activate.
It wasn't that hard to work around.
But once Hex:NOED is out there, there is barely any stopping it. Along with TOTH, there is still no way to get noed cleansed meaning no matter when you turn it off it will still help NOED. Also yeah turning a hex perk off is bad as it's main counter is turning it off by survivors.

Hey I do have a statistic for Hide or Die's player base. It is dead. One player 6 hours ago. 3 was the 24 hour peak. This game is, for all intents and purposes, Dead.

NOED activates after gens are done. There is no way to change how this affects NOED without completely changing the perk.

New Perk: Escape Artist
After stunning or blinding the killer, you leave no scratch marks for 6/7/8 seconds. This perk has a cooldown of 75/60/45s
Monstrous Shrine Change:
Unhooking actions in the basement take twice as long.
The survivor who performs the unhook action will instantly lose one health state but will also instantly gain 50% heal progression after the unhook is complete.
The hooked survivor also suffers from the broken status effect for 40/50/60s after being unhooked.
Territorial Imperative Change:
Increase the detection range to include the kill shack.
Survivors that cleanse hex totems reveal their aura for 5/6/7s. The survivor that performs cleanse on hex totems also gain 4s of exposed for every second they work on a hex totem. The survivors are notified of the exposed status effect. The exposed status effect does not decay while the survivor is touching the hex totem.(15s to cleanse without hex:Thrill so a total of 60s exposed)
In addition, if a hex totem is cleansed, reduce the killer's terror radius by 100% for 15s
Red syringe insta heal change:
The survivor doing the heal action instantly goes into dying when using the syringe. The healed survivor runs at 150% speed for 5s and has endurance for 5s.
or
The survivor doing the heal action instantly loses one health state after healing another survivor.
Prayer Beads (Spirit):
You can no longer collide with survivors while phase walking.
or
Reduce the phase walking sound by 90% instead of 100%
The entire point of an insta heal medkit is for a slugging counter. Just making it so the killer gets another slug or close to one is a contradiction for what it's for.
-
How would this work with Object of Obsession? I think that you mean that once the aura is hidden then the countdown begins but if the Laurie doesn't stop looking in the killer's way vice versa the killer could literally always see you. This is a fun idea but if used properly could be used for teaming with the killer.

Name: The Double
Appearance: Medium height, has a scarf wrapped around his head, deformed by multiple tumors, weapon is a Sabre.
Speed: 110%
Terror Radius: 28m
Power: Conjured Twin
Click m2 while during a chase, a clone is created which chases the Survivor the Double was chasing. The Double will turn invisible, moves at 115% movement speed while the clone is active, and has no terror radius, but cannot perform any actions. The clone runs directly after the Survivor, and vanishes after 10 seconds of being active. The terror radius of the clone is 32m. The clone also disappears if stunned in any way. If the Double leaves a 20m radius around the clone, the clone disappears. If the clone disappears by being stunned, the Survivor who stunned it suffers from the Exposed status affect for 10 seconds. Conjured Twin can only be used once every 60 seconds.
Teachable Perks:
Sight of a Spirit - When a Survivor is unhooked and the Killer is 32m away or more, the Survivor who unhooked has their aura revealed for 8 seconds. Sight of a Spirit can only be used once every 60/50/40 seconds.
Radioactive Aura - Survivors within 6m are exhausted. The exhausted effect lasts 20/30/40 seconds after leaving the radius around the Killer.
Gamble on Life - When a Survivor is sacrificed, the Killer gains 2% speed multiplied by the number of times that Survivor was hooked for 5/10/15 seconds. When the third Survivor is sacrificed, the killer's speed is reduced by 5% for 30/25/20 seconds.
The killer having no terror radius during ability might not seem OP but paired with the Radioactive Aura perk means that you can randomly exhaust players and then when baby dwight 420 pallet stuns the fake, you can hit them easily as they don't know where you are, you don't have collision and their dead hard doesn't work. Maybe make Radioactive Aura apply WITHIN the terror radius. Awesome ideas anyway! Upvoted!
-
This perk mixed with NOED and Hex:TOTH is basically godly. The main counter to NOED is to do bones. This perk's aura revealing and exhaustion mixed with TOTH's Slower speed and knowing how many totems are left makes NOED a guaranteed pop even at high - mid (1-10) ranks.

Your will to survive compels you to fight to your last breath.
Once per match, when the Killer attempts to kill you, succeed a Skill Check to escape and stun the Killer for 5 seconds.
Causes Exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds.
Do or Die ignores Exhaustion.
You will be in the injured state after using this perk regardless of your previous state.
"You can't kill me! I'm in my element!"
I like the idea that you could stop mori's but it would waste so many points for killers. Imagine the killer brings a Ebony Memento Mori. That's 7 grand. Let's assume all 4 players bring this perk. Thats 7 grand wasted. Now let's say no-one cept you brings it. 500 points for the hook, 1500 then 1500 x 3 4500. 6000 points in total. You lost 1k for even daring bring a mori. Imagine that. Losing points for playing killer. It also would make other killer perks and add-ons lose usage. Devour Hope and Rancor now only give you at most exposed.
I do like the idea but maybe make it so that if you are the last survivor alive in the match, gain a health state if you are injured or in dying state and stun for 2/3.5/4.5 seconds.
Ignores Exhaustion but causes Exhaustion for 70/60/50 seconds.

This paragraph from the wiki kind of explains it. She can't hang around college campuses unless you have a horrific event occur there. Plague is really the only oddball in this case, as she didn't kill intentionally anyone and was just trying to save her people.
Also, given how she has the power to literally create pocket worlds, I don't think it would take much energy to perform necromancy.
She? The Entity was confirmed genderless.

I'm not sure you understand what "in-universe" means. The Freddy Files, from what I am reading, is just a superjuiced guide book. It does not canonically exist in the FNaF world. "In-universe" means it exists/happens in the world of Five Nights at Freddy's. The lore in the world of FNaF is not about how the animatronics jumpscare people. It is about how they scare people and are also probably haunted by the souls of murder victims and whatnot.
If we were to implement such characters into DBD, we want to try and make them as true to their canon as possible.
"The lore in the world of FNaF is not about how the animatronics jumpscare people. It is about how they scare people and are also probably haunted by the souls of murder victims and whatnot." Those 2 sentences contradict eachother. Here's what you just said. The universe is not about how the animatronics scare people. It's about how they scare people.

@TAG said:

They do kill, though. They don't scare. Making their power revolve around something that doesn't tie into them at all in-universe doesn't really make sense to me.
What do you mean doesn't tie into them at all in universe? I genuinely do not understand how it isn't in universe. The Freddy Files, A CANON IN UNIVERSE BOOK, explicitly shows you how to avoid getting jumpscared with tips and trivia. It's the entire point of the book. They do kill but what is FNAF known for. JUMPSCARES
If you really wanna go in universe, how bout we have a cybernetic girl who has different forms for different ages, OR how bout you be a purple man stabbing kids outside pizzerias. IF YOU REALLY WANNA GET IN UNIVERSE WHY AREN'T YOU SUGGESTING THESE.
-
@TAG said:

FNAF may make players scream through jumpscares, but in-game they are murderous animatronics that kill. In-universe, they aren't trying to make people scream or scare people.
Yeah but heres the thing, in universe they don't want to kill people. They are literally malfunctioning. They aren't murderous, murderous implies they wish to kill. They don't. The jumpscare is the most iconic thing of FNAF so making it the animatronics power is the obvious choice.
-
@TAG said:

I actually have an idea that I'm fleshing out in my mind. Give me time, but the gist of the idea involves the core four roaming around, the Killer being able to switch between them, and the Survivors having to figure out which one is the "malfunctioning" animatronic using cameras.
Not to be mean but, FNAF itself is really really horror/youtube bait. If they were to make a FNAF Animatronic, It would HAVE to be able to jumpscare. It's power should be this:
Broken Voice Box.
You take pleasure in scaring your victims, not killing them.
You can press M2, R1 or RB to activate a channel. Once this is full, unleash a scream attack that, 10 meters infront of you, causes survivors to scream and become hindered for 5 seconds. This will also add half a bar to the fear amount. Fear can be levelled up 3 times. At level one, hear the terror radius near you anytime you are running for atleast 5 seconds. Level 2 will cause all of the above and have a 10% chance for any skill check to have no great skill check section. At level 3, the Hindered status affect is PERMANENT. Plus all the above with the terror radius being right behind you forever when running and the skill check chance being 50%. You can lower this fear meter back to one by simply being near other survivors or completed gens. You cannot lower the meter below fear 1.
This isn't balanced at all but I think this is more consistent with Freddy's and fits him more.
