If its just about cosmetics, why not? If its about a full chapter with a killer? Hell no! They already ruined Ghoul for the most people, cause they had no decency regarding the original background of the character and not a single clue on a fair and fun gameplay for everyone.

Yes, underpowered. I'm sorry but there are way stronger killers than Ghoul. Why nerfing him when other killers will remain be stronger? If Nurse, Blight, Billy, Dracula… get nerfed for some weird reason then yes, nerf ghoul… untill that no reason.
Yeah, there are nurse and blight. And then we have ghoul. Billy and dracula are not as strong as ghoul. And the thing is his kit is just annoying as hell.
-
- Not really. There may be not as much gamebreaking bugs, bit the mass is still horendous. And they now are even able to recreate the same bugs over and over again.
- Antifacecamp just changed the facecamp playeers into proximity campers. Not much of an improvement, unless you think making players knowing the minimum distance to stay away is a improvement. Thats literally one of their worst fails of all times.
- they just created even more unfun meta (regression meta and anti-hide-meta) and trashed perks that werent even needed to be changed (drastically).
- Still we get several combinations that are straight out annoying to face.
- Doesn nothing as long as teammates are as stupid as always. Makes me just more angry if they still dont make the right choice though given the information to do so.
DbD in general has become worse for survivors and easier for killers. And thats NOT a good thing at all.
-
FOMO is always a thing and its not even a bad thing as its just cosmetics. Its like in real life. If you dont buy the new t-shirt this season you probably never get a chance to buy it ever again. But nobody cries about this. Same goes for rewards in real life. You never get a second chance to get e.g. a special price for participating in a dance comeptition. Nobody cries about that too. But in games its becoming a problem? Seriously?

Just as I wrote before this would make her super bad to play as, same skull merchant/chucky treatment nothing good and interisting. She needs rework you just cant get clear view on her without thinking she could be nerfed supper bad.
How do you even know if this makes her bad to play? And being bad to play isnt what happened to neither skullmerchant nor chucky.

laughable that you want to nerf already underpowered killer.
Underpowered? THATS laughable.

No you don't need to finish all 12 when there is actually 15 quests. The reward quest also count as quest completed. So as we still don't know the last page you can get to seven quest done with just survivor. Even if the last page has one killer specific quest on it that would mean you can get to 11 quest done without playing killer. Still you can get the all rewards by doing only 10 of the real quests as the four quest and eight quest reward quests do count to the total number of quests.
You do need to do at least one quest from the other role for the Chaos shuffle banner. You need 12 quests completed to get the banner. There are 2 general quests each part, so you get 6 quests in total. Then there is each 1 role quest per part. So you get another 3 quests. 6+3=9. With those 9 quests you get 2 of the completion quests done. 9+2=11. And surprise 11 is not 12.
And yeah I dont think that forcing people into playing a role they dont want to play to get a general reward is fine.
-
There ae several things to the Ghoul to be just annoying. My biggest issue is the stupid hitscan. It definitly needs to go, there is no arguing to let it stay. Then they have to fix the bug that he can injure you even when colliding with a pallet. After that they can start to get rid of the stupid fast vaults into hits. After that we can see whats even going on.

Nerfing her numbers is pointless she will be too strong or super bad (like in 2017-18 when the added before her fatigue after hit she cleaned her weapon and then went into fatigue you could make like 40 meters distance before she could blink again, now we have weakest nurse we ever have probably), she needs rework thats all.
Its not pointless. They never even tried anything. Remove her post-blink lunge. Limit her post-blink turn rate. Reduce the blink range. Endless possibilities and absolutely no need for a rework.

It's not bs add on. It's related to Halloween universe and makes identity for Myers. There are still several ways how to prevent him from getting tomstone kills, so it's not as strong as you say. It being basekit would make his gameplay way more unique and universe of Halloweed related. Don't forget that he is still one of the biggest licenses and sadly still one of the weakest and neglected in the roaster.
Its legit the most hated addon by now. Its totally unfun to verse as you can literally be dead just by seeing him for a second. The addon shouldnt even exist in the first place like this. thats common sense.
-
Yeah lets stop using the truth to explain the bad killer ideology of bhvr.
-
Iam sooo excited. NOT. Worst licence ever. Worst iflux of people ever. And with this the worst gameplay while anniversary ever (imagine we still have to suffer from Ghoul players).

She deosnt need nerf she needs rework and it will take time because she exist you cant say game is pay to win.
Nah, you can just nerfs certain things and see how it works out. No rework needed at all.
-
Its already common knowledge that the "randomizer" in chaos shuffle isnt entirely random. What bugging me even more is that devs havent made a single proper change to this mode even though were now in its 4th? iteration. Still killer are sweating their ass off in a fun mode by running their best addons in combination witrh maps and still tunnel, camp and slug the ### out of the game. And on top of it you get the "sexual abuse"- emoting every second game. But hey, devs obviously like this toxic behaviour.
-
You can easily play with just one or two of them. Theyre not useless at all.
-
It was said that it wouldnt be good and surprise: it is not good.
-
You can literally read them ingame if you press ESC.
-
Nah hes definitely OP and annoying.
-
If youre on PC just delete it.
-
Its as always. If there is something that doesnt seem right for killers they cry a river that it will be an OP perk. And magically, nothing ever happens afterwards. Killer bias at its best. And just shows that most people lack game sense.

It was common sense.

Just as the title says, can the devs not nerf every killer after just a few weeks. Like I get it's sometimes hard to counter a newly drop killer, but people will figure it out and realize that the killer is not op.
Like I just want to play the character I payed for without it being gutted because people complain about it.
When killers are clearly overperforming, nerfs are necessary. Just accept it.
-
Just run Deja-Vu and take a look at the gens spawns. Theyre just that terrible.Sometimes even if you solve the first 3 gen, there is another 3 gen thats as worse as the first one. And yeah, if killers are smart enough to regocnize a proper 3 gen, this can become a big issue. And no, if the perk had just the repair speed bonus most people certainly would not use it anymore.
-
To be fair DbD isnt more new-player-unfriendly than any other pvp game. If youre survivor, just play the tutorial games against a bot killer and try something, though a proper killer bot game would be good to have.
-
@Adam_Francis_Main said:
The devs have been too busy focusing on the survivor experience that the killer experience is going to make new players quit.
The bloodweb is grindy.
After a few matches killers will face toxic playstyles from players emulating their favorite content creators who smurf for content. There are no good beginner friendly regression or gen perks.
The DBD community is toxic.
Good perks are locked behind paywalls.
Many long-term players are video game addicts who refuse to quit because of money spent, the game isnt fun and the game isnt what non DBD players see on tiktoks and stuff.Everybody thought the resident evil chapters would bring a huge wave of players, that didn't happen.
Are you on a killer losing streak?

I suspect they did that on purpose because people did the math.
People did their math wrong in 99% of the cases. And none of those ever considered modes to give additional Rift fragments, which was stupid to begin with.
-
Its was a really bad idea to remove the 4%. This was the only horror-like mechanic that tells you "there is still hope". Also you basically cant sacrifice yourself anymore to help the last survivor getting the hatch. And this will basically just lead to a stealth game that just prolong the game for no reason. As always they didnt thought this through at all.

Trapper, Pig, Ghostface, Legion, Clown, Doctor, and all other low tier Killer picks don't need to run these perks at all?
Do you really think low mobility Killers can win against a team of stronger Survivor players that can coordinate well enough to make gens go by quickly? you TRULY think all Killer players just want Survivor players to suffer?
… oh no, friend… you think KIllers don't play Survivor too, don't you? You actually think Killer players WANT to hurt people… I'm afraid you're the one with the misconception here. Most Killers only run these perks for three reasons:
1) Their Killer does not have mobility and they face decent teams often.
2) They aren't confident at map pressure yet.
3) They're a setup Killer that may need the extra time to prepare.None of those are about making Survivors feel bad. Nobody runs Pain Res to make you feel bad. The game isn't about you.
If theyre not confident relying on cheap gameplay doesnt help them improve their skill. So they use them cause its easy, just as i said. Youre just agreeing to me there. You dont need mobility to not play just slowdown. As killer I am Trapper Main and i never had to rely on those slowdown builds, cause I just know what i have to do as trapper. Most killer players have literally no clue on how to play their character properly. So relying on cheap gameplay is the easy way out again. And most people already play S-Tier killers and still use 4 slowdowns to just annoy people. Common sense again.
-
They never revert anything unreasonable they implemented.

Obviously we won't really know the full impact till it hits live servers, but really what is preventing people from using one of their thousands of unused 'luck offerings' to keep the option to struggle on the hook every match.
Whats the problem? The whole system has no proper logic behind it and just makes the games worse.

Killers are really not allowed variety in their perks either, why do you think generator control/regression/hold is so popular? Because generators can go faster than some Killers can even patrol the map. In fact half the roster has no actual form of a mobility power. Even some with mobility powers can struggle. Generator perks often feel necessary for a Killer player to bring. That's why you always see the same four or five of them over and over.
Now start questioning why Killer players feel the need to bring these - it's not just because they want to make Survivors miserable or just to win, it's because quite often these perks do feel necessary. So therefore, no variety for perks, and no variety for Killers either. Nobody gets to have any fun.
Thats just the normal misconception. There is no need to run these perks. The overall majority just does it cause its easy and it makes survivors suffer. Killer have much more variety in their perks than survivors ever had. Both of this is common sense.
-
Survivors arent allowed to have variety in their gameplay.
-
Would really like to see you playing ghoul at high mmr.
-
I havent seen any quest that needs skill by now. Which game do you play?
-
Imagine people still making false claims on tunneling and so on.

”no reason?” It’s a for-profit company. They need to make money somehow, or else we don’t have a game. Giving away shards like candy would dramatically hurt their revenue because nobody would need to spend real money on the game except for licensed DLCs for which shards usually can’t be used.
Hows that even an argument? A full cosmetic costs 21.6k shards, from Rift quests you would get 120 in total. Than you have to take into account how many cosmetics there are already available for shards. Its literally impossible to get them by shards even if you played all day and night to gain Shards by XP, cause the gain there is also stingy small. There is no reason you arent even able to buy one full cosmetic from Rift shards per Tome.
But sure, giving out a perceptible amount of shards during a tome would make them go bankrupt.

try getting better?? you aren't gonna face a baby Trapper you can bully every match.
and Kaneki? don't even get me started, Nurse can down in a matter of seconds, but Kaneki can injure easily? boo hoo. the fact you can't last in chase isn't an excuse to nerf the newest Killer into the ground.
if you don't want a challenge, play something else!
Could you evaluate more on this? Which posts do you refer to? How do you distinguish them as survivor mains? How many of those posts are there in relation to killer main posts? I really want you to anwers this.

Actually someone did the math, and as it currently stands if you complete EVERY RIft quest but do not complete EVERY daily, you will not get enough Rift fragments to complete the Rift. Meaning, if you missed a day of playing since this Rift started? You're already not going to be able to complete the RIft.
Sure, BHVR is aware of this and is looking to tweak the numbers, but we don't know when or how they will, so until we do, the math stands.Your math isnt right there.

@Zensunim said:
I wish BHVR would confirm if rift fragments only being earned through quests is a bug or not.
The DBD Wiki says:
- Rework: completely reworked The Archives and all associated mechanics:
- Increased the amount of Rift Fragments received for 500 XP from 1 RF to 5 RF (factor of 5).
- However, since this Patch also increased the RF-requirement for a Rift Tier from 10 RF to 100 RF (factor of 10), this effectively halves the amount of Rift Fragments gained from playtime.
- Increased the amount of Rift Fragments received for 500 XP from 1 RF to 5 RF (factor of 5).
But the reality of 8.7.0 is that you get 0 from matches right now.
The reality is you definitely DO get fragments from XP.

Agreed, it encourages anti-altruistic and selfish behaviour. I've not stayed to try and help get others out since the rift opened, once gates are open im out because im not risking my progression to help others.
It will also take a long time and people who don't play much will suffer with this milestone. 2v8 is the only thing that'll help but i didn't even want to play it to begin with…
It doesnt. Only people that do this are sweater, and they would have done it anyway.
