1) Blight's original flick wasn't game breaking, but it still got removed. So any tech involving a player going over the intended turn rate cap, should be removed, which includes Oni's 180 and survivor's 360.
And we should remember that a survivor moving in a 360 direction is fine. The problem is when they do something specific, that allows them to 360 faster than the intended turn rate.
2) Survivors and killer should both get extra keybinds, so they can separate out actions.
Damn, you are boring player...
Basically because they did it with Blight, they have to do it with everyone? Lol
I mean, hug tech, v-tech, rebound, urobend are clearly things that weren't intended.
It doesn't work unless you do specific action. Why is that ok, but not turn rate?
Survivor 360 is not even DPI thing, it's movement and camera work. Console can do it.
Oni turn rate can be done with 2k up without problem. It gets easier with higher DPI, but it also make normal playing harder if you are not used to it, that's why I was changing it while doing it. But it's allowed because of camera movement too, if you don't look up before flick, you won't make it.
J-flick was mainly about really high DPI.

It is OK that they can't change perks in midgame. Survivors on the same level as you will know what to expect and how to mix their builds or how to bluff you. They are pretty smart and will learn fast.
Power struggle works as "zoning" perk or withing self_pickup build, and you knowing about it won't change much. Or would you normally go near the pallets while holding survivor?
It is not that easy to make someone bleed out. Other people will just heal him up. Or you can camp him ofcourse while other people do 3 gens and rescue him anyways.
DH is weaker now for sure. But even before I didn't have any problem to bait it. I always assumed that every survivor has it anyways. So the only thing that is gonna change here is knowing that survivor DOESN'T have it. So I can be slightly more confident.
Deliverence is one of 4 perks. Other 3 will highly change your gameplay.
------------------------------------------------------
And here we finally are. You are planning your strategy accordingly to opponents perks. Opponents tries to predict your strategy while setting theirs. It is a game of chess as it always was, but brought onto more strategic level.
It would get it to boring level.
This game is not hard, it can get boring already. This would make it way worse.

Who cares if Oni gets punished for missing? His DPI flick is super easy for people that aren't using garbage DPI by default.
BHVR should fix Oni's 180 flick, and fix the tech that allows survivors to go over the intended turn rate. We should be fixing all of these turn rate "techs", and not just Blight's because it had the most complaints.
Why tho?
None of those are game breaking. They simply increase skill ceiling of this game, which is good thing imo.
So you would want to fix all techs? Otherwise why only specific techs?
FOV tech, 360, window tech
All Wesker techs, all blights techs, Oni's flick
They could give killers option to remap controls to fix CJ tech and locker tech.
It's same approach as why we lost flying Billy.
This game is not really hard and can get boring after some time. Those hidden techs are all basically an oversight from devs. They are interesting and fun to do on both sides.
Also makes this game interesting to watch. Lot of players stopped playing, but still watch streamers.
This game would be way more boring without those.

The problem is you assume everyone uses their mouse on a garbage DPI. My default DPI is 4,500. It’s been like this for years, and you can probably find posts I’ve made years ago, where I told everyone this is my default DPI.
I use 4,500 DPI for this game, I use it when I’m reading emails, and I’m using it when I’m on these forums. I’m super comfortable with how fast and how far to move my mouse at this DPI, as I’ve had thousands of hours over the years to figure this out.
And I didn’t say hug tech. I meant object sliding around walls, which involves desyncing the move vector from the look vector.
That's just how you position your camera, how is that harder than max DPI flick?
It's on level of Wesker urobend.
Nothing still beats Wesker hug tech.
And Oni is still worse killer than those two, he gets more punished for missing, so using this tech is more risky.

Deliverance with loop or hidden build. Good luck chasing/finding him.
Slug him please. Maybe he will consider Flip Flop. Or one of teammates will take WGLF/ Buckle up. Tons of counterplay possibilities now.
Wait for DH? So actually the same thing as if you didn't know about DH.
Camp please. In the meantime survivors will finish at least 3 gens and escape.
New players will at least understand what they are playing against. It is much better than not knowing that killer for example actually sees your aura.
Your issue is that they can't change perks mid game.
I would know their builds and make my playstyle based on it. 0 variable, I don't know about you, but I want to be surprised from time to time.
I can respect out of the box builds, which works only when I don't know about it.
Good luck ever managing to use power struggle.
You have flip flop? Then I know it's impossible to pick you up, have fun bleeding out.
It's not same thing with DH. I know for 100% you have it and you can use it only twice. Right now DH works way better than before, because killers don't respect it anymore. If I knew? Not a chance.
So what he has deliverance with hidden build, I know he has it, so I can simply ignore him and kill everyone else first, because I know hooking him gives me almost 0 pressure.

You literally just flick your mouse, when you aren’t at a garbage DPI setting. That’s the whole thing. Just muscle memory of how fast and far to move the mouse.
It might be difficult for you, but it’s not difficult compared to some of the techs Blight currently has.
Blight techs? Which one?
Hug tech is really easy.
V-tech is also not hard.
Fact that you chose Blight kinda shows me you don't know what you talk about.
It would be way better to choose Wesker.
Rebound is not easy. But mainly his hug tech is frame perfect tech. Nothing is harder than that.
J-flick was basically same thing, but Blight is punished less for missing.
Go play Oni, use 180 flick and show me the clip, I would love to see you do it.
Just to get correct situation is unlikely. And then you need mouse to change DPI on button.
Realize you need it, switch DPI in time and actually use correct distance to hit survivor.
How the hell is that easier than hug tech?
-
Just show what perks each survivor has between them.
Wouldn't that fix everything?
It wouldn't make SWF better, they already know...

Decisive Strike, Dead Hard, Deliverence still work even if Killer knows about them. The fact that teammates will know about those perks will also bring new teamplay for SoloQ.
Good players assume that survivors have all of those uncomfortable perks and just wait for prove or disprove. Knowing about them in advance brings nooby players to higher league which lowers the gap in "skill" level. But this is mostly just hours of playing without really honing the skill.
Having BNP revealed will make Survivors finally use their item strategically at the right moment.
You think they work?
I will simply not chase them and tunnel someone else.
Deliverance work? I can just target him first.
DS work? I can slug him.
DH work? I will wait it out.
No Reassurance? Guess who gets camped
Teammates knowing about them is absolutely fine, that's why I would show them between survivors on loading screen at least.
But killer shouldn't know survivors perks and vice versa.
It's simply important part of the game to find out other side's resources.
How does it help new players, when they don't know counters or what does that perk do from icon.
It would simply make it easier for veteran players and make game worse for both sides overall.
I like to make predictions and see if I am right. Knowing from start would make this game really boring.

Well... I just don't rush the gens, if we had like 3 to 4 gens done and no one is dead, than I go cleanse a totem or go find a chest to give him time for chases... but usually they still get their 3K or 4K... 😅
Maybe because you stop doing gens...

Oni doesn’t have any turn rate restrictions, and can literally 180 degree flick if the player has a mouse with a DPI setting.
I honestly don’t know why Oni is still allowed to 180 flick.
Because he is not played much and it's mostly a gimmick.
It's so difficult, I can do it in custom, but it's hard to actually pull off against players.
I highly doubt any of you actually saw it used.
Situation for it is really specific and most players can't do it reliably.

Then those people need to be punished. They are the same as people who DC after first hook or DC when they see Blight/Nurse against them. But I haven't seen the second example so maybe insignificant amount of people would leave in situation that you describe.
Also seeing everybody perks may be additional mode game for more competitive players. Or it could be an event mode to test it out. I truly think that it can turn out well and more interesting than it is now.
It doesn't matter, they will do it anyway.
This system would create games where player know from start it's going to be miserable game.
And author would want to see add-ons. Mirror Myers would be dead, because they will know to deny him map offering.
It would make games way easier and destroy so many perks...
I also wouldn't want to hear a thing about tunneling.
Because surprise, second chance perks work only when you don't know about them.
Oh, so you have BNP, but this survivor doesn't have any way to save himself? Lethal pursue and tunnel from first hook.
Games would be way worse for both sides.
-
Currently I see valid only
Devour+ Undying
Plaything+ Pentimento
You also need killer for it, best are Plague and Merchant.
Issue are totem spawns. They are so bad. It's not really hard to hide small item, but they managed to screw it anyway.
Hey, look, tree with nothing around, what a good hiding spot...
Totem shouldn't be possible to see without actually checking the spot.

Good point, I don't think fellow survivors are saints. I play like I want survivor to play if I were to play killer ( it's rare). Just don't be an ass. I don't mind losing, I mind my time being wasted. So I don't tee bag unless I need the killer attention ( no disrespect killer but you are close to a hiding buddy on death hook and I need you to pay attention to me so they can get out of there.)
I walk straight when the gate is open ( I might heal a teammate again no disrespect just getting points)
Being bleed out is just really really annoying ( que unbreakable guy but again it's a one time only) and camping is also a drag. Really the killer can do so much to make a survivor game miserable but not much in reverse.
Survivors can do lot of things to make killer miserable.
Thing is you need full SWF where everyone want to bully the killer.
So far I find hiding squads most annoying. If you don't have build for it, you will simply not find them (depends on map).
They can simply drop and pickup items to dodge crows.

I feel there are more nice survivors than not. Just that negativity, as in quite a bit of media, is louder and evokes a stronger desire for responses than positivity. Hence calmer individuals will just move on or even compliment the opponent. I've had many a nice chat because of this.
The more babylike ones who cry at the end are remembered more in part because some of the things they say come across as immature or plain savage. The brain remembers this more since it's in this way that it attempts to avoid or weaken this form of attack.
Anyway, I'm digressing sorry. There's no real way to change a negative mind such as that. However, the one way you can lessen it is by initiating more positive chats with others. Whether you win or lose, there's nothing wrong sending a message to compliment the opponent on something they did well. In my experience it has always come back as positive or as no response at worst. Doing this more lessens the impact on the negative comments and therefore gives a more valanced and healthy view of the game.
Some of the playerbase is really pathetic, but I'm of the opinion more of the silent majority are decent people who - I dunno - maybe even receiving a little compliment can make their day and maybe make yours too!
Damn, you are awfully positive. Are you sure, that you are in right community?

I wouldnt say that its an issue at all since it works the same way right now when you get interrupted.
On the second thought how about it doesnt take longer to heal but haemorrhage is baked into it?
Then it doesn't matter.

if you can't hit a survivor running slowly in a circle, this is not a bug, the problem here is more likely in you, if the survivors unscrew the DPI above the norm, then it will not give them any advantage in the game at all, absolutely no in 360 or in the game, if you set the DPI above the norm for survivors and try to turn the mouse sharply in one direction, the survivor will twitch and stand in place, blight and oni have completely different mechanics, they have first-person control and their camera turns do not lead to a change of sides during a sharp turn
I don't think it's an issue.
But it is a bug.
I also don't mind Oni and Blight flicks. It's not easy to use it, same for 360.
Both are bugs, but also increase skill ceiling.

That's too long. Make a TL;DR.
Plus, the blame is only on survivors if they insta-unhook. It's entirely on the devs and the killer if they drop chase and go straight to the unhooked.
This game has scratch marks and blood pools that last for, like, an eternity and a half, with maps about the size of half the palm of my hand. The game is screaming at you to go tunnel the unhooked survivor.
with maps about the size of half the palm of my hand.
I have feeling you are either galactic being with really big hands, or you play on different maps...
the killer if they drop chase and go straight to the unhooked.
Survivors often unhook when killer is not in any chase, so killer has information about location where are at least two survivors. Why wouldn't he go there?

DCs are like cheaters. You don't want devs to not do new stuff because cheaters will take advantage of it. You want to punish cheaters and prevent this.
The system may have issues for sure. This is suggestion thread and is opened for dicsussion and improvement. I didn't see any improvement ideas yet. Only arguments why it possibly wouldn't work.
Examples of perks improved :Corrective Action, Buckle Up, Hangman's Trick or any other that were meant to counter other perks.

There is no need to think about improvement when I don't consider it good idea for the game from start.

So back then every survivor got antihex totem perk by default and killer had hex perk by default. What was the point?
Survivor would have his perk countered. But he can counter back with next perk pick. It is mindgame before the game starts where you can not completely counter your opponent. If you do then survivor/killer is completely new to the game. So they won't DC because they will not recognize their disadvantage.
But DC people should not be focused on to please. They should be punished. Why DBd community is so nice to leavers,DC and toxic people? You are literally feeding them...
I simply wouldn't implement any system I know would cause players to leave games.
How is that feeding them?
Your system has simply tons of issues with little benefits.
And again, what perks would actually improve?

I can agree with this fully. I am just not sure that your premise of nonexistence of side-objectives (because of widened gap) would be something, that would stop BHVR. But I otherwise agree with you
BHVR doesn't seem to want this, but you have players, who keep asking for it.
I simply think there is no way it would end well.
I think side objective should stay killer specific power, it can be used simply as tool to make killer unique.

You have slightly higher chance to find pentimento then NOED. And plaything is not the only perk that indicates pentimento (even if it's the most common one). Now this patch there's more incentives to play inner healing (maybe combined with overzelous) which tips the balance even more in favor to pentimento vs NOED (even if the difference is not a big one).
But the point stands - you don't mitigate any risk for doing totems in current state of game. You just swap one risk for another one. There's a spot where you could guess it's worth it to try to cleanse bones (you went thru map and after u were hooked once saw at least 3 dull totems - so it's likely no pentimento) - but even better then this is to mentally just note there position so you can cleanse them quickly if/when NOED appears in endgame (maybe even before it's triggered). Overall it's just detrimental on it's own to do bones as it takes time and most likely solves nothing.
Sure, even with Noed most optimal way was only search for totems, but not cleanse them.
Simply so you could get rid of it asap of needed.
I don't think there will be any valid side objective soon. Reason is quite simple. It would make difference between SWF and soloQ even bigger.
You can see it on Pinhead.
-
He will always be soloQ and noob stomp killer.
SWF is simply way more efficient against him. SoloQ is going to have multiple or 0 players going for the box quite often.

Use the hooks, Use a Mori.
Slugging is just a way to avoid the hatch, which is there for the survivor. its the intended game mechanic.
If it is really that bad, bring a Hatch offering to control where it shows up.
Slugging is player behavior that is seen as toxic and unfun.
Players should really start thinking about using word toxic. It has basically 0 value at this point.
Slugging as an action is not toxic. It's something killer can do to increase pressure on survivors.
Reason for doing it can be called toxic for some killers.

Camping/tunneling is basic complain package.
Slugging/3-gen is added for deluxe complain package.

When you know that enemy has hex perks you can finally pick totem cleansing perks. Otherwise noone cares about them, or do you?
Knowing about enemy aura reading perks gives more space for mindgame. Isn't that the core of DBD? Also good players can tell pretty quickly what perks opponent is using anyway.
Knowing every single perk actually creates the huge gap between good and bad players, especially for survivors. This is huge topic by itself and has a lot of things to do with balancing btw. And eventhough remembering and recognizing all perks is a skill I doubt that BHVR wanted this to be a part of gameplay. I think that great and good players should differ by good reactions and decisions. Knowing when and what perks to take would be a part of decision skill.
I regularly use detective's hunch, it helps to find and break 3-gen too.
There was time when totem hunting perks were valid. It was when some totems were actually hidden and strong hexes were used.
But spawns on new maps suck even more than before and Ruin, NOED got nerfed.
You know perks when they are used. DH, DS, Unbreakable, Devour Hope, Off the record, Nowhere to hide, Jolt, Eruption and I can continue for long time.
All those perks are way worse with your system.
Do you really think players wouldn't DC when they see their perks countered, or killer? You can't be that naive.
What perks would actually improved with your system? I could probably get to hundred of perks that would get nerfed.
That killer boon hunting perk would get valid. What else?
Totem hunting perks are already valid because of inner-healing, which is decent perk and even better now. So that wouldn't change much.

There's not even an acceptable way for a killer to lose. Yesterday the survivors burned a BPS and I let them do gens while I farmed zombies as Nemesis, and two of the survivors (including the one who burned the BPS) saw me killing the zombies and disconnected.
It's not even about balance. The problem is that every player is different, every player wants something different from a match, and the matchmaking system isn't intelligent enough to put people with complementary playstyles together. So no one's happy.
I don't think any matchmaking system is that good...
Mainly because playstyle changes from game to game. Based on perks, current challenge etc.
I would probably prefer an old matchmaking. It simply made sure that there are were no straight new players and were somewhat decent. (SWF broke that system tho)

Literally not my point, so objectively you are right but you are barking up the wrong tree.
You cant really enjoy no matter what you will say a match where myers sees through walls without spine chill (unless they are bad in which case its still boring because you gens will pop relatively quickly). Same with hag if you dont have urban evasion for at the very least unhooks. Plague if your current build is made around healing. Nurse if you dont like 5 second chases in open spaces. Tombstone is never enjoyable but especially if all 4 survivors dont know to spam gens/jump in lockers/do bones/vault when he has tier 3.
So they are basically fun for you, when you can completely counter their power. Makes sense...
The fact that it would be exact opposite for them doesn't matter.
I really like to play against mirror Myers. He makes this game actually feel like a horror game. Not just game of tag.

Sure. Having it in loading screen is something I completely vote for.
But my thread is more about the question "How do we make our perk choice be more mindful and strategic before starting the game?". Devs made some really cool niche perks that counter Killer's perks and vice versa. But having those counter perks is pointless untill you know what perks your opponent is using. It would be much more fun being able to pick perks one by one. First Survivors, then the Killer. Again Survivros, Again KIller, etc. For now our picks are blind.
That would waste so much time, that's like extra 4 minutes of just choosing perks. Just so someone DC, because they don't like outcome.
Lot of perks have value only if other side don't know about it.
Hexes would become even more useless than they are now. Every aura reading perk would be way worse.
There is not that many perks that would benefit from this, but way more perks that would become trash.

@EvilSerje said:
I love that demagogical "dbd-nazi" way to put it, like "evil survivors, noble killers".
Well, anyone who don't want the answer, but just to show off, can stop reading here.
First of all, it is helpful to play survivor for once and "wear" all this scenarios on oneself. I think in general all of them are pulled from thin air (except camping and tunneling). All others just manifestation of frustration.
Few points:
- Imagin match goes for 10 minutes. How long do you play as killer? 10 minutes. How long do you play as survivor? Well, it depends. You can play 10 seconds, or a minute. All other time you either sit holding M1 or dangle on the hook.
- Win/lose mentality. As a killer, one happen to lose once and it starts "Oh, loops are broken, maps broken, medkits broken, perks broken, nerf this, nerf that, bla bla bla". Probably they are, but on top tier tournament level, which 90% of players (me included) don't give a slightest f. As a survivor, though, you are probably going with lose mentality. Like if you are losing 10-20 games in a row, what the point? There goes DCs, suicides, etc.
- On top of having lose constantly, you get cherry on top with hookslaps, mass bleedouts, BMing and all nice things from kids that feel powerful and unpunishable.
- That list of yours can be easily reversed. Like "what is acceptable way to play as survivor" and entries: Genrush, comms, bodyblock, 360, flashlights, boons, medkits, etc.
- Please don't bring git-gut card. Still don't understand why "Git-gut" always apply to survivor side (be SWF and play like Ayrin or GTFO), but never apply to killer (top players did ok and did crazy challenges even with old DH and old medkits, btw)
Long story short, people don't complaing about Slugging, Nurse or Zoning. People complaing about not able to play the game they want to play in their f-ing free time. Some just snap. Camping and tunneling are extreme example, where all survivors are bereft of gameplay completely, there is like no point in playing for everyone (maybe only for some book challenges).
All and all, it is very helpful to change role and check why is it so? Write on paper how many times you win as a killer and how much you lose as survivor. Surprisingly the sum will be 100%, and winning part is all for killer by a wide margin.
Of course many here escape 11 times out of 10 matches.... Where are you in all my matches, though, mighty unicorns?
Remember, these "survivors" are not some separate inferior breed of people, they are all exactly the same players as you all, just being put in diffrent conditions.
1) that's simply game design, nothing to do with balancing, or players
2) it's same for both sides
3) it's same for both sides. Survivors are not really kind to losing killers. I would say killers are mostly better, at least I am. It's simple, how often you see free escape from killer vs free kill from survivors? Both sides are mostly toxic, simply put...
4) Genrush - Overused term (same as tunneling), but yeah 4x BNP sucks to play against, but it's super rare
comms - fine
bodyblock - they should do it
360 - super fine
flashlights - mostly fine (two survivors waiting in lockers are annoying, but I have played against it only few times)
boons - CoH was broken, rest are whatever
medkits - depends on rarity (fine now)
5) I have said git gud to lot of players, on both sides. If I don't see any valid arguments and it's just content of crying, why should I bother making proper argument? Git gud explains my point really well. It's actually good advice and it would fix lot of issues for those players.
I have played quite a lot of soloQ for challenges and few SWF games. I don't have an issue, for me it's way more relaxing than playing killer, where I need to focus on the game way more. This patch I actually enjoy playing both sides.
Most of strategies I listed? I don't care about most of them, because I can understand why is killer doing it.
Sure, tunneling from first hook sucks, but most of the time it's understandable for me.
Mainly I don't care if I die, whatever for me. I will gladly die to get my teammates out.

Focusing on pleasing toxic people is completely wrong.
Also when I play SoloQ (eventhough I am Killer main) I don't see much of players leave when the teammate prestige is too low nor DC when someone is playing bad.
You see someone using No Mither, do you go for it?
Some challenges, make you do really stupid things. You would be able to guess it from his build and know he is going to be useless most of the time.
I can imagine lot of players would dodge that lobby.
I would be completely fine just to get it as info on loading screen, so I know what to expect from them.
Of course it would be optimal to have it in lobby, just so you can be sure there are not multiple inner-healing etc. but that would be also more work for devs.
it would be way easier to implement it for loading screen.

Make it so if we can get rid of his shroud not matter the distance again because he can stalk us all willy nilly or cap his stalk distance. It's not fair that he can do it at any distance but we can't. It makes it also too easy to camp survivors. Also please fix his janky hitboxes I was hooked and unable to get him out of his stalk and I was close by. It wasn't even starting to and it should have. Also make Philly green or purple that should not be a brown add on. Also I'd recommend he loose his stalk little by little over time because 99ing shouldn't be a thing for stealth killers period. Each killer should have something to counter their ability built in that isn't broken like his. Another example is like Plauge, Oni should loose his power if he gets stunned while using it. I'd also reccomend he can't stalk us in chase or have it something like a slowdown similar to Myers so we have a bette chance of getting him out of it or getting out of line of sight. Also can you please either make it so he can lean or crouch stalk only not both? I think it's a bit much if you still want him to stalk in chase. I'm just really frustrated with him and please no comments on my useename. I only had intentions to post bugs I encountered but things like this are ridiculous.
Plague and Oni have counterplay.
It's not hard to deny Oni his power, just don't be greedy on pallets...
Unlike Plague, he doesn't have any second part to his power.

I think my point was the regression stuff was too strong, was realized and fixed, sort of. Not because games were too long.
You can say that about CoB and Overcharge. That was kinda broken. They didn't know how to handle them, so just nerfed them into oblivion.
But those are not only slowdown perks nerfed.
Eruption, pop, corrupt, pain resonance and probably some others I don't remember.

How is the match lost before it began? He didn't get any buffs in this update. Healing? Healing against a legion was a complete waste of time to begin with and a sure fire way to lose the game. Dead hard? He puts you in deeps wounds so he already ignored it. What made him strong suddenly?
Because he is type of survivor that needs to be healthy.
I really wouldn't want him as a teammate against Plague...

But that depends entirely on how much the healing time is extended. Also sloppy couldnt be changed so that it doesnt take into account extra time.
Bigger issue for this is losing healing progress whenever interrupted.
But yeah, if you want better iron will and trade off is few seconds longer healing, then it would be massive buff.

Oh is that why they put skull merchant in the game lmao?
Skull Merchant was simply bad idea right after the Knight.
Fact is games are faster for most killers. Doesn't matter who wins, it's faster.
3-gen and CoH made games way longer than needed.
Even Skull merchant games are faster than used to be.

Skill is irrelevant to the topic. I have played enough games to know who plays what but if I dont have specific perks against that, its going to be boring game and I will definetly not try my best in that game.
If survivors could see killer and his add-ons in lobby, lot of killers would be unplayable.
Also lot of dodging the lobby.
Just no, there is a good reason why it's hidden.
-
I think there is enough killers from RE for now.
Would be nice to see something new...
-
People should really give up on new game modes...
But I think survivors should be able to see each other builds while game is loading at least.
Would be more difficult to implement it into lobby, it would also result in survivors dodging the lobby whenever they don't like someone's perks.
-
Your buff to survivors would result in killer perks nerfing.
Sloppy would be brutal against this. You would never get to heal unless you go hide in corner of the map.
Nurse's calling to interrupt any healing if possible, your progress is gone and it will be even slower next time you try it.
Bad idea, also making the game worse for new players.
-
It's part of the skill of survivors to find out what perks and add-ons is killer using.
It's quite easy with Myers.
Didn't go to tier 2 and used indoor map offering = mirror.
It took him 3 gens to get into tier 3, I would suggest jumping into locker whenever he gets close to you.
Vaulting window or working on gen also works.
You will find out really fast Hag is using Shackles...
I don't mind Hag, but shackles are so annoying.

Yes. I love this idea. Some real protection for your totems early game so you can get some value out of them. It could have the same deactivation as corrupt. Turns off on down. It wouldnt effect the more powerful hexs such as devour but at least you would get value out of blood favor or crowd control in minimum your first chase.
That would be so not worth it.
Why take this and not simply undying?

I see, I think that high mobility killers will be meta with this, go to one point of the map to another in seconds and don't giving the survivors a chance to heal or regroup... That make sense, I seeing a lot of gen rush builds and BNP.
I afraid that DBD will become, who make the objective faster (it is kind of this already).
But for me this update kinda feels good at the same time that is terrible, is difficult to describe.
It always was who finish their objective faster.
BHVR seems to want make average game shorter.
That's why you have so many nerfs for gen regression and self-healing.
