All night iv had abuse from killers after most of my matches. Frankly its disgusting.

Have a break :) do something you like and come back when you actually feel to.

Every game from time to time may feel too much. Don't let it bring you down!

  • This is a problem.

First, my sympathy. I started this year and after my first 5 trials I only got matchmaked with people that on averave had 10 times my hours. I know the feeling and I often complained with my girlfriend about it ahah. (It's not about the people you play against! It's that you are not at their level and they won't make the game enjoyable, not that they particularly should).

At the time of writing I got stable Iri1 and my matches are people on average like 80-22-50-12.

On 10 matches, I win 9 (3-4k); loose is gates are oepned. (I do tunnel if it is needed, needed=otherwise defeat -> consider me totally average)

I cannot speak of MMR, as it is hidden, but when I look at their profile, and it happens to be public, they often have 2 or 3k hours, with few 700h.

At the moment I have 400h in, around 170h as a killer.

For what it's worth, if you enjoy playing this game, it does get better, but don't expect to win making everyone happy.

My advise is to change killer till you find one that clicks with you. I changed a couple (started with Dredge and Legion, till I found the ones which I could consistently win with, after learning them appropriately).

As we cannot do much about MMR directly, and I don't know how to suggest an improvment (so I won't criticize it more) I can suggest you a killer and perk combination that it might get you out of this feeling.

PLAGUE (add ons to infect objects longer, and 1 apple)

Corrupt Intervention (start by infecting non blocked gens) - Nowhere to Hide (kick gens to reveal people within 24 m, they are gonna be one shot because of the infection) - Eruption (to incapacitate people working on that gen, it often chains up to a x2= 20% regress + incapacitated) - Infectius Fright (to snow ball with the vomit, if they cleanse).

You can adapt the build to Ruin and Undying instead of Nowhere to Hide and Eruption if you feel to focus on understanding the killer first.

This build is controller friendly, farely easy, highly effective and should let you handle easily people till the highest MMR. Don't be sorry to slug or tunnel if you have a hard time against strong people in the game. Play to have fun and don't let people bring you down! :D

Ps. I don't encourage any toxic playstyle, but if you need to play hard on people playing hard don't hold on it ahah

  • Why is this taking so long to fix? It's literally a two week problem that affects greatly the quality of the game.

For all the people experiencing frustration with the current killer pip system : give Pyramid Head a try as it seams safe from the bug in its own way with the execution. I happened to get Iri Devout, and it was overall easier to pip consistently in Iri 3-2, till 1.

  • It is the experience of many killers with strong perks, or very good setups. People dc are not a good measure of what is right.

That said, how many hours do you have ?

The killer rate is a large scale count. And dc's for what is known count as kills (unless it is temporarly bugged).

for those who don't know what a head on duo is, basically its 2 FUNNY friends who both have head on (can be 3 but rare)

the main idea is one of them gets the killer in chase while the other hides in a locker and the survivor in chase gets the killer near that locker and the killer gets stunned and do all over again...

the problem is, they are basically throwing not only are they not doing any gens or helping others, once the killer catches up on the ordeal they can bait em out for easy kills

now i would say they have the killer's attention so the other 2 survivors can do the gens but tbh..if the killer is smart they can just injure them both and leave to waste time healing while they pressure the other 2 survivors who are trying to play or you know if the killer has pain res that's a free gen pressure...

i feel like this should be reportable because they are basically throwing the game for the other 2 survivors who are trying to win, but in the same im not sure, the fact that i met a pretty popular youtuber doing this and not for a video just doing for i dunno fun i guess? gives me the idea that....i dunno what gives me tbh, as an influencer you are suppose to bring the light in the community not help ruin it.

    what's your opinion on this?

No, it should not. Every in game mechanic or playstyle should not be reportable.

You may ask yourself if it's the best way to handle the game and suggest a different interaction, but any way to coordinate or use strategy in a game like this, should not be considered an offense (this includes as much survivors, as killers with tunneling, camping, slugging)

  • What is your definition of pay to win ?

My idea of pay to win are mobile games, where you cannot win unless you pay, and not a little bit, often several K's.

Because of that, I cannot consider DBD a p2w, or close to it.

You don't need all the content to win. It is an option.

(Considering the game is very cheap to get at the moment: all the content is a 100 bucks, which is a good deal).

This game is alive at november 2022, with a great support of 7 years, made possible only by this ''economy''.

You don't need to pay to enjoy (and win), but we do need to keep it like this to have this game going and better every year :)

  • The Knight is one of the most funny killers to play! It is just WOW ahah. And to play against, at the same time.

So I would say this is to be considered as a score.

When I played against my first 3 Knights on the new map, I could loop them for more than 3 minutes just by ''holding w''. That is why I feel it might benefit a slight buff.

I played as a Knight with an immidiate 4k, but I consider the survivors going easy on him, and the killer power only served as a caotic measure. It is not useful for pretty much anything else.

I do not intend to say it is a bad power. It is very funny. I love the new map as well.

My suggestion is : Lower the active chase Patrol activation and slighly extend the range.

I feel it would be enough to make this killer strong enough to be compared to killers like The Executioner.

At the moment it is farely weak, but funny as hell!

She probably has the lowest kill rate only because most of her games result in DC which are tossed out in their stats.

    Is this proved ?

    nurses get stronger

She's a killer with a great concept, but she needs the Survivor's aura to disappear just before she blinks.

    please notice soon

Can we, please, stop suggesting nerfs and debuffs in this game ? (other than the really needed fixes and balances)

The developers are clearly doing an amazing job with this title's updates. Let's let them enjoy elaborating their ideas for both ''sides'' without this constant negative feedback on new things!

The Nurse is the killer with the lowest killer rate at October 2022. She does not need a nerf. It is a fact.

I am an (average) survivor and killer enjoyer.

In my experience, I escaped many more Nurses than Plagues and other killers.

The Nurse is the strongest killer in the game. If you loose against people with thousand of hours with meta builds, just get over it. You are not supposed to win, you need to fight for it.

If you still think it differently, I encourage you to try the Nurse on a Nintendo Switch like some of my friends do.

That said, if the Nurse does need a balance, it is something the developers will figure it out. The new perks should be left elabored freely.

The latest aura readings are a nice addition and will add more dynamism.
