The main reason to block Dredge from teleporting to a locker near hook is to prevent him from just hiding in a locker by the hook. It doesn't really stop dredge from teleporting back to an unhook.

Blocking Nurse from teleporting near the hook would legit make her awkward to use on some maps with multiple floors.

I've thought about it, and I'm pretty sure it's going to come down to what you're saying.

I thought it would be nice if the movement was 4.1m/s instead of not being able to use the ability when around the hook, but that seems to create a new bug.

I think that nurses should remain as they are now.

  • I often see the phrase "the console version has good nurses too".

But I don't see people saying, "I'm playing nurses on consoles, it's totally fine."

The console version of Good Nurse might be playing with a mouse and keyboard instead of a gamepad.

I don't know if you can call this "the console version of the good nurse".

This issue seems to be mostly about the difficulty of playing with a gamepad.

  • My biggest concern is that perks like the Mastermind perk will be nerfed because it's "powerful if nurses use it".

    This indirectly weakens other killers.

Also repeats each time an aura visible perk is added

Thr knight can only summon one other kight at a time so it should be okay

    I see

    misunderstood his ability

    Thank you

  • @legacycolt said:

The knight is most likely gonna be on all platforms. Why wouldn’t it work on Nintendo switch?

I heard that the reason why there are only two Nemesis zombies is because of the specs of the Nintendo Switch.

I thought it would be difficult for the knight to summon three bots

  • If the Nurse can see the Survivor's aura, the Nurse who is proficient in Blink has a 95% chance to hit.

Also, even if you can't see the aura, it's easier to chase injured survivors.

In other words, perks like this lower the difficulty for nurses by more than half

The day they nerf nurse is the day Survivors rule this game especially people who play with other over 1,000 hour players. No other killer can counter squads or streamer players who know how to drag out loops for more than 5 minutes. (Gens can be completed in 2 minutes or less) So whatever happens happens just warning everyone - 2018 player both sides either way I will still play this game

    Nurses must be the strongest.

    That is correct

But it doesn't have to be easy

Distortion after the update has no limit you usually have distortion active all game unless you never take the opportunity to leave the area while the killer has an active aura showing perk like undying dull totems and awakened awareness lol. If you just sit in active reads then of course you won't have tokens everyone who says they will run out is just the silliest thing ever. You do realize you can run while revealed as you do not have scratch marks while a token is used up right? You don't need to sit in one corner the entire time and if anything the duration just needs to be lowered.

About distortion you say it's a counter

    It's definitely a useful perk.

However, the Distortion Perk doesn't make sense for a single Survivor to have.

    Killer's sword targets other survivors

    That's it.

It might be useful for your own survival, but is it fun to hide and watch other survivors being detected and killed?

    It's rubbish.

Also, I don't know if the killer is a nurse before the ritual, or a nurse using OP perks like this

That's why it's silly to use the bonus frame

  • @Mechanix82 said:

I main nurse and i cant remember the last time i kicked a gen. This perk will not change that, we need to stop getting perks nerfed because of one killer.

    I think so, too.

I don't want to nerf Nurse, I'm afraid that non-Nurse killers will be indirectly weakened.

    Like a Mastermind Perk

  • Previously, I was a nurse and used Darkness Revealed to surprise.

At that time, most of the time one of the survivors would give up the game, so I would let other survivors escape.

I actually used it and felt that it was OP.

  • You say running away from a nurse approaching gen is one countermeasure

But with this perk, it changes to "must run, and quickly"

Survivors lose many options such as walking, hiding behind obstacles, and entering buildings

  • @NoOneKnowsNova said:

    Everyone: Nurse is OP

Nurse Players: Just play stealth you'll win.

Everyone: Nurse is more OP with this new perk.

Nurse Players: Just don't hide near gens

Time to hide in the corner of the maps bois

Nurse stubborn players don't know this game is about repairing generators

  • @JustWhimsical said:

I highly doubt that it will be game-changing on Nurse, simply leave the area, sure it harms survivors who hide all the time, but if you really are complaining just use distortion then you never need to worry about aura reading perks in the first place. Do not nerf strategies just because you think they are op because you are too lazy to bring your own counters. Heck, even awakened awareness is easy to deny information to without distortion all you need to do is make sure the Nurse has to hook facing away from your direction, and as soon as she looks away to hook, move to a different spot to mislead her into wasting her time, be outside of her terror radius as it the same range I believe, or just simply run distortion.

I'm sorry, but the people complaining about this being too strong on Nurse have no concept of what is and isn't overpowered, the only perk that is definitely much too strong is starstruck every other perk on her is fine, and fair as aura perks, in general, are a difficult perk selection to choose as sometimes you can get zero value from it. Also if you don't believe me that aura perks can mislead killers then you have never simply double-backed after realizing the killer had bbq it is literally not that hard to give bad information on an information-dependent killer.

I also understand what you mean.

But for Nurse, being able to see the aura also means she can attack at any time.

I use nurse too, but the aura is too powerful.

    It's unreasonable.

  • All you need is a solo Q buff and a killer buff, but you have to do it carefully.

When you give a solo Q too much information, it becomes monotonous with no tension or surprises.

Enhancing the killer makes escape in solo Q impossible and DbD fades.

BHVR/Behaviour Interactive is a large company who has always made games, this is the companies 30th year for example so it's a long standing company. There will always be other games that we work on, our own games and games for hire for other companies...none of that affects Dead by Daylight in any way, as the DbD Team only works on DbD for the most part, resources etc are not removed from DbD for any of these other games.

    Thank you

I assumed they were ditching DbD

    very sorry

  • @NekoTorvic said:

You have to wait until you're physically touching the survivor and then react fast and flick in the direction the survivor turned. When Blight starts his hit, his hitbox is wider, so it will connect with the survivor as long as you're basically touching them.

This is called a Shoulder Flick.

In the video it seems you swung a bit too late.

    thank you!

    i didn't know that

    i will play like that

  • You say you need voice chat

I don't want to hear a baby cry from the beginning of the ritual, or a stranger's grumpy remarks.

Of course, you can also mute

I don't want to be told something in chat because I couldn't make the ideal decision for them.

  • Strengthening Solo Q must be done carefully

Excessive it spoils the fear when playing this game for the first time

Also, even though there are powerful items such as keys, maps, and medical tools, many survivors don't want to take them with them.

    choose a tough game

    that is also a problem

When I first started playing killer eons ago I tried for weeks to learn Nurse on my Xbox1. Then she did not have the recharge bar thingy, but several things all combined to make her too difficult to control for me:

First is the slow turning camera that suddenly whipps around wayyy to fast, making it harder to track survs. This is a dead-zone problem with controller and some input lag sprinkled on top.

Second is the micro-freeze with each and every blink made, causing miss after miss after miss, and that rolls into the longer fatigue time. Hag suffers from this too, making insta-hits from a teleport impossible.

Lastly is all the known fps drop triggers ganging up on you, be it from Sloppy or an unhook or Exposed or Exhausted or a gen popping or (back then) even a chest being searched.

And that was before a host of bugs moved into her. Couldn't imagine playing her now, or what tf our Switch cousins do with her.

Not fun. For all those on PC and familiar with running Nurse, borrow a friend's PS4 or whatever and roll her out. Tell us what happens.

I knew there was a lag after Hag warped where attacks wouldn't hit, but I didn't know Nurse had it too.

Even if she blinks in a great position on the console, it's often the case that the attack doesn't hit for some reason

  • Thank you.

It's rare to see a big gap between consoles and PCs in today's games

Console users I know aren't playing the game anymore, but that disparity may be a factor as well.

  • If it's been that way for years, maybe it's better not to expect

    thank you

  • I am Japanese.

    sorry for not telling

  • The reason nurses are the most problematic is that the only way to learn to fight them is to learn to use them.

It also has to be used well.

    many refuse it

  • @HellDescent said:

It's stale. Over 6 years and they haven't added anything new in terms of game modes. Same old 1 v 4.

If you feel old, I think you're just losing your sense of freshness.

Is the latest shooting game different from GoldenEye released on Nintendo 64?

It seems to me that only the appearance has changed.

You see, it's all very well and good saying to force a 50/50 but you seem to be forgetting that Nurse has 2 blinks, not 1. In most situations, even if you win the 50/50 she has another blink to fix her mistake.

Not always fifty-fifty, survivors actually have more options.

You seem to want the perfect answer, but it looks like a mistake

  • The first counterplay to nurses is to keep your distance

The second is to force her to choose between two options.

run straight away or come back

Run straight across the wall or come back from the wall

Get off the building or don't get off the building

Get over the board or don't get over the board

    Such

However, it is necessary for nurses to anticipate when to blink and how much to charge.

Otherwise, nurses who see your movements can attack you unilaterally.

  • I use Bright on my PS5 and it's easier to play with a controller.

Bright can be controlled by horizontal eye movement only, but nurses also need vertical eye movement to blink.

Also, it is difficult to feint with a controller

  • The incapacitating effect included in this perk

Until the fallen survivor is picked up

I think you should do it.

  • There is only one appropriate nerf item for her.

While she's charging Blink, she'll no longer be able to see Survivor's aura that she was able to see due to one of her perks.

The countermeasure against her is hiding, but any perk that allows you to see auras ruins everything.

  • My fear is that the developer will consider the chapter with this perk to be a success story and will not touch on the chapter content.

  • Harpoon an object so that it can travel to it at high speed.

  • @Maelstrom808 said:

Plague is awesome because at high skill levels she requires strategic play (both as and against) unlike 90% of the killers in the game. Knowing when and where to cleanse, when to avoid a gen vs just powering through the infection, knowing how to loop her to run out the corrupt purge are all key to beating a good Plague player.

Playing as Plague is great because you need to know when and where it's effective to infect gens, when to go for full infection on survivors vs just M1ing through both health states, when to go for a fountain to get corrupt purge (and which fountain you should use), and you need to have a great understanding of the macro game. On top of this she has multiple good addon builds depending on how you want to approach your game.

She is the speed chess killer of DbD. She doesn't really require great mechanical skills like a Billy, Blight, Huntress, etc., but you have to be thinking two or three moves ahead and have to be able to change strategies instantly to counter what the survivors are doing.

    Thank you.

I think it's definitely a strategic killer like no other.

Might be a very fun killer if the survivors stick to a high degree of cooperation

I feel the same way about hellraiser and wraith besides plague

    I only play soloQ

Maybe what I'm really saying is complaining about soloQ

  • @usesPython said:

Plague is literally an M1 killer with no power 90% of the match if you know the counterplay. I'd argue even Legion is stronger because at least there survivors can slow the game down by healing unnecessarily, whereas with Plague they're forced to just stay on gens.

    Here's the counterplay:

    • If no one has cleansed then don't cleanse if you're not on death hook (and then make sure to cleanse away from gens)
    • If someone cleansed then everyone should immediately start cleansing at the slightest bit of infection to get every pool infected so that it resets her power
    • Prerun to a safe loop early when you hear the TR and no one else is in chase

Of course we play like that and sometimes we can escape.

But that's only for killers who aren't familiar with the ritual, who prioritize chasing survivors over protecting generators.

A Ritual-Familiar Killer will return to the Generator after destroying some of the Loop Planks.

If you repeat this, you will only be able to loop through the window frames.

  • I agree with the person who posted the thread.

    However, they are not enhanced.

    Because it's a free gift.

  • I also enjoyed the previous version more.

Even when playing Survivor, the game takes a long time.

Killer play is monotonous as there is no chance of a come-from-behind victory.

Please revert generator time to previous version and killer should have latest version of doom by default

  • I think it's Wesker.

It leaves room for technical intervention and is a fun killer to use.

  • cute appearance

Being locked in a locker is stressful.

By the time he exerts his strength, the ritual is over.

  • @HoodedWildKard said:

Interesting suggetsion. Idk how it'd work in practice but i like the idea of changing the playing field as survivors die.

one downside though it may result in 2 or 3 swf groups deliberately attempting to get randos killed or ignore unhooking them to get the buff.

    Thank you.

    The problem you mention exists.

I don't know what to do either, but maybe that kind of play can also be considered part of the gameplay.

  • Thank you.

I think the killer should be able to default to Borrowed Time just like survivors can default to Borrowed Time.

Also, when there are three survivors, the aura becomes visible to eliminate the difference with SWF.

I enjoy this game and hope to continue to do so.

However, if you play Survivor, there are many scenes where you will be uncomfortable with the camp tunnel, and if you play Killer, you will need to camp and tunnel first.

This is not because the Killer chose the Camp Tunnel himself, but because otherwise the ritual would be over.

To do that, we need to reduce the need for killers to camp tunnels.

Also, survivors should be able to aim for escape equally even if there are three survivors, instead of ending the ritual when they are camped or tunneled.

I think a good game is one where there is always hope for both sides, rather than a one-sided match.
