He really suffers from main character syndrome.

thank you your better with words then I am.
We can tell.

Now, Coconut seems like a genuine guy
Yeah I don't know about that one, lol.
-
They handled Twins fine I guess, not sure why such a strong killer needed so many buffs though (actually I know why). Their treatment of Blight seems as tone deaf as ever. The problem wasn't that the 2 new addons were too strong and needed their effect to be halved, the problem was that they are yet another bland movement speed addons, replacing unique and interesting addons. And don't get me started on their stubbornness to remove hug tech while ignoring the stupidity of his double iri combo.
-
It's too easy to reach high MMR on killer in general, regardless of the character you're using.
-
Survivors (even at high MMR) encounter struggling killers all the time. Don't fret over it.

A tie means neither side wins or loses. This is an asymmetrical game where your win/loss isn't contingent on the win/loss of your opponent/s.
A 3K is typicaly a win for the killer, but also a win for one survivor.
A 1K is a loss for the killer as they've failed their objective, but also a loss for one survivor.
A 2K is a failure to complete your objective as a killer. It just happens to have an even number of wins/losses on the survivor side.
The idea that a 2K is a tie is an illusion born from the fact that there are an even number of survivors. If the format was 3 survivors v 1 killer, how could you discern a tie condition?
This is an asymmetrical game where your win/loss isn't contingent on the win/loss of your opponent/s.
Utterly false. This type of mentality is exactly what makes solo queue be so excruciating in this game. People shouldn't rather be the only survivor to escape and count it as a "win" than be the only one to die and consider it a loss. But they do, precisely because of this senseless mindset. Btw, if DBD was 1v3 then the whole game balance would have been completely different to begin with, potentially leading to make us see 1k as a tie, for example. So there's no point applying current DBD standards to a version of DBD that never existed.

Fair buff for enduring imo
Enduring doesn't need any buff.

That would be a nerf to one of the weakest killers though (if we ignore the tombstone piece)
And Unlimited T3. And Mirrors on indoor.

I guess they gave up.

It's not because of the matchmaking. It's because the overall playerbase has steadily improved over the years and more and more competitive-spirited players got into the game. Arguably, you gain MMR too fast as killer.

That's actually a good thing, they want to test crazy changes before they go live to see where stuff lands.
How is that good? Everyone knows this is not gonna make it to live servers anyway. What's the point?
-
By getting good and not taking it too seriously.
-
Watch Wacek if you think Trickster is weak and has no power and you'll likely change your mind. I actually wish this annoying killer was weak.
-
It's been like this for years now. Hopefully BHVR wakes up and stop balancing killer role around the average redditor skill level.
-
Hopefully doesn't mean they're testing the waters. Ranks have been irrelevant since 2021, we don't need to see them.

Huntress didn't need buffs to begin with.
Nor did Clown's purple bottles to be fair but he at least got nerfs along the buffs. Huntress is simply not defendable though, for sure.
-
It's not bugged, it's intended.
-
So slow? He has a teleport and is 115. What are you on about.
-
It's not slow, you just got too used to the event gains. Events are meant to be eventful y'know.
-
Good changes. Huntress getting her best addons basekit without any drawback still was a dumb move though.
-
They already did. Several times. We really don't need more.

Decisive Strike, or any other perk, should not be the band aid to fix problems that affect the whole game. Tunneling being so pervasive needs to be addressed, and that isn't done just by saying "now everyone needs to bring the same perk to fix the problem."
Tunneling isn't something that needs to be addressed to begin with. It's one strategy among others. Not the killer or game's fault if one of your teammates (or yourself) couldn't pull their weight in chase.

We had this exact discussion billion of times over the years already… Just use the Google search bar next time.

I am never removing lightborn, this has made me a believer in lightborn supremacy.
You realize Lightborn basically doesn't do anything here? And that this tech is pretty useless against half-competent killers? Then again you unironically use Lightborn so…

Yes.

I really dont know how to make a power that press M2 without time investment like Trapper/Hag that have a whole area affected. To make it fair and interactive, plus skill expression on killer.
Perhaps her current state is fine in some aspect, but there is zero skill expression which make injuring survivors feel not deserved
Her power is indeed unsalvageable but they at least could alleviate it by removing the Undetectable or making survs lose one lock-on stack after disabling a drone. Something like that.

@HexHuntressThighs said:
If you think killer is easy please play killer more. Matches are only a stomp if you are a new killer, or someone kills themselves/ dc’s that’s it
I play both roles equally. Killer is undeniably easy. It's the easiest role in DBD, above 4-men SWF even. It's just a naturally less "chill" role than surv because you're alone and in constant pressure so you need to know what you're doing to the bare minimum, which often isn't the case (no offense).
-
He can be fun but sometimes he just feels very unfair (which he is, comparatively to most of the roster).
-
He is overtuned, yes. Some killers have map mobility but no strong anti-loop, some killers have anti-loop but no map mobility, some killers have neither. Blight has both cranked up to 11.
-
Nope. It always remained a strong perk, just not as strong and brainless. Unsurprisingly, they brought back some of its brainlessness.
-
Blight undeniably needed basekit basekit nerfs but certainly not that type of basekit nerf. Now Blight players have no reason to take any risks, they'll just fully embrace the pinball life and monotonously collect their 4ks.
-
BHVR's balance changes have recently been very questionable, not gonna lie. Still need to try it out before passing judgement though. Quite a lot of things have changed with this killer.

Having 2 playable characters is the power though. The problem is that you don't have time to hook. Victor is not THAT strong that it justifies such a long time to switch.
Only your first sentence is accurate.

Lmao.

I just want Twins to be a more seamless and fluid Knight. I enjoy using both killers in chase, such as using Charlotte to body block.
So you want a high tier killer to be even higher tier.

Twins getting nerfed is almost nothing but certainty now.

This a quote from 2019 but still applies.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/QYAR4B1NKAT3/aim-dressing.png
Basically, the game detects you got a hit but the system that makes the animation line up and look pretty messes up and forces you into an object instead; which will deny the hit.
Legend says that they're still looking into the issues 5 years later.

Shift+Tab has always been the most efficient way anyway.

It really doesn't anymore.

Hopefully not. Just make Soma basekit if you want to buff him.

As ArkInk said above, its not worth the switch. Knight could have all 3 guards out at once while the flashlights gave survivors effective invincibility to 90% of the killer roster.
Oni's lunge bug gives him a real and reliable advantage. Knight's guard bug did not. Having all 3 guards out at once sounds good on paper but not once you understand what you had to do to get it.
-
A Plot Twist icon on the UI when a teammate is Plot Twisting would be one of many nice additions BHVR could add to the game.
-
Felt that neither deserved such a big buff, honestly. But Clown at least got 2 significant nerfs along the buffs, Huntress, on the other hand, is a complete mystery. No idea what BHVR devs were thinking here.
-
Maybe by the end of 2027 they'll finally try to do something about SM again.
-
Nerfing gen regression perks is fine. Nerfing STBFL/Sloppy wasn't.
-
@Archol123 said:
I would be more in favor of a full rework, even with both powers he would still be rather boring and without much of a skill cap, clown has some nice interactions with both bottles, but Freddy's two powers don't really have that synergy.
Dunno, fake pallets and snares both are fairly uniques abilities. Why giving him a brand new power that they could give to a new killer instead? They should keep both and enhance them, like allowing him to create a fake gen as well or something.
-
I haven't played against many admittedly, so maybe I've just had struggling Clowns who are learning... but how is everyone else finding him?
Killer players in general are struggling and "learning". There's a significant gap between casual killer players (at least 90% of the whole playerbase) and the ones who know what they're doing. You'll quickly notice the difference once you face a seasoned Clown.
-
Wasn't this event delayed by like a month specifically to make sure it will work smoothly too? BHVR truly never fails to meet our expectations.
