No they are not actionable reports - we do not ban for camping, tunneling or slugging.
They are there, because regardless of whether they are part of the report system or not, players will report them. It enables us to categorise the reports better.
Ah, I see…
It was just that really. But are disconects/rage quits and suicides on hook early into the match actionable reports? -

I hope so. If you are so bad at a game where getting 4k is a foregone conclusion that you have to slug… then happy to ban them.
I'd really like a dev/community manager answer on this, because, until now (now that I see this, at least), slugging, camping and tunnelling weren't reportable actions as much as strategies in-game. Even at this moment they don't appear in-game as reportable Unsportmanslike conduct actions. That category lists mostly disconnects and refusing to participate in regular gameplay as reportable actions, which was what I was filling my ticket for, someone killing themselves at 5 gens.

And it's normal practice to hold down shift constantly is it?
Huh? I didn't say that. You hold down shift specifically if you want to avoid a full heal or any heal at all.
If you wouldn't want a full heal either for Dead Hard or, in the scenario of the poster, to avoid losing anti tunnel perks, you'd be able to do it by holding shift near teammates.
That's the only point I'm making, since you were arguing these perks shouldn't be changed because you can't avoid a heal by other people, me and the other poster pointed out that you can, in this form.
It doesn't work if someone forces those on you unexpectedly and you wanted a 99% heal instead, but at that point you'll already have an extra health state being healthy, which was what Off the Record should give you as anti tunnel. The only downside is exposed based killers like Myers and Ghosty really.

Syringe and For The People are instant heals that you can't avoid.
If you have Renewal/Second Wind, that heals you automatically whether you want it or not.
If you have Endurance, you do not go down if you're Exposed. Lose that Endurance on being healed and you now have less protection than when you were injured.
For a syringe and FtP to work on you, you have to start being healed by your teammate and then they would use one of these features, but any heal can be denied from even starting by holding down shift (like the person you're talking to mentioned).
So these aren't unavoidable heals. What may exist is a lack of information about the holding down shift feature, but that doesn't mean it's not there

Gens are the wildcard in DBD's balance and their speed/completion time is currently balanced by the Claudette self-caring in a corner for 60 seconds and the David just doing his "open x chests" tome challenge for half the match.
If the teams is actually sticking to gens and doesn't leave them as soon as they hear the Terror Radious, and you have someone with minimal loop knowledge being chased first, the killer gets their first hook at 2 gens left, easily.
Gens are wildely inconsistent.
And when a Killer tunnels right from the get go in the match, I usually THINK (and I say this as someone who plays more survivor) they're doing that because they don't know what gens they're going to get this time, not because they want to hurt someone's feeling playing the game.

Injured condition is good for Solidarity/Autodidact/Deadline build.
I think you misunderstood things here.
Currently, you have to be injured for Deadline to activate, okay, next...
Autodidact isn't affected by your current health state.
Solidarity only works while injured, that's true...but if you take the injured condition out of Deadline, that doesn't mean the perk won't work while injured, it just means you won't HAVE to be injured for it to work.
The only way Deadline would stop having synergizing with Solidarity is if you instead HAD to be health for it to work. That's not what I'm proposing; I'm proposing the perk to have no health conditions at all.

They have to take the injured condition OUT!

"The best way I can think of to remedy that situation [...]"
Well, I can think of a lot of even better ways to solve it:
- Better in game documentation about every killer.
- Killer bots so survivors can practice against them.
- Per killer tutorial to learn how to both play as and against them.
- Any other idea that is realistically feasible (in other words, not impossible to do) and doesn't imply close to infinitum queue times.
Also, I recommend you look what Skill Based Match Making is and the technical details behind it so you understand why what you are suggesting doesn't make any sense and can simply not be done. Knowing how every killer work and how to play against them is part of getting good at the game.
Yeah, honestly, this. The games gives near nothing for players to work with when it comes to info about killers on the spot.
It's pretty obvious why killers like Sadako, Pinhead and Skull Merchant have the highest kill rates, their gameplay is far from regular.

I agree with your points, but Prestige 55 already?! Sorry to misdirect the point, but how do you manage, honestly?

Personally, as a new player who plays both sides and isn't jaded yet, it seems to me that by and large the game has had quite a lot of improvements over the past few years.
I've been watching a lot of videos covering DBD; Otzdarva, Ardetha, Kujo, Spookyloopz, Scorpionz to name a few, and I've learned a lot to already start doing well on both sides. What has been surprising though is how many videos, even recent videos are actually out of date... I have to cross check what a lot of these videos say quite a lot.
The game is quite clearly to me constantly evolving... not necessarily the right move every time from listening to these guys, but its always getting tweaked, and there does feel like there is a conscious effort to improve the game for everyone. Tbh at my level without all the crazy perks in play, it is loads of fun... though admittedly the future for me does look a little intimidating currently 😅
Regardless, I'm having a blast... and I'm intrigued as to how the anti camp changes will affect the game for me on both sides... but if killer becomes too weak, it'll get changed. The game needs both sides to function, so I'm just kinda excited to see what happens.
Hopefully the venom between survivors and killers diminishes over time, but it seems to me, by and large the game is slowly getting changes the community is asking for... so hopefully everything is resolved if ever I get to higher levels 😅
Honestly, this game has never had this many changes in so little time as it has in the past couple of years.
People quitting DBD saying it's because the devs don't make changes or aren't trying are just denying reality at this point.

Been away from the game for a while. Began playing some today.. I've noted a strange development decision with Wesker's power at the gate.
If the survivor is at the end area, one step away from exiting the match, and Wesker uses his power at them, plunging them toward the exit escape, the game has Wesker's power act like he hit them against a solid structure, like a wall or tree, instead of a wide-open area, which the exit is. There is a wall/gate there for the killer, but not for the survivor... so it makes no sense that the survivor would be smushed up against the non-existent exit gate/wall and grappled by Wesker. Instead, logic dictates that Wesker would just throw them out of the match, like he would if he used his power in a wide-open space.
It makes sense for killers like Deathslinger and Pinhead to be able to stop the survivor from exiting by using their power in this situation.... but in this scenerio, Wesker's power makes no sense here.
LMAO
Can you imagine Wesker just hitting you with his power at the exit, and instead of grabbing you he just TOSSES you into FREEDOM, hahaha.
"There you go lad, be safe out there, GOOD PERFOMANCE INDEED!" - Wesker

They did - it's called +10s extra gen repair time and 2.5% progress loss on kick
If you can't stop gens, im afraid that's a you problem and not a game problem
The new survivor UI is a bigger buff to gen efficiency than either of those are a debuff.

Tunneling can happen without perks... so changing perks is a bad move
And if BHVR actually had something to combat Tunneling it would've been released long ago
But then again if Tunneling was solved then Survivors would just have all the time in the world to get the Gens done
Try to not Tunnel in a match and see what happens
They did have something...that's what Base kit BT was about. 10 seconds of endurance and extra speed for you to run away.

The best shot for Killers to "win" in the current win condition, the most certain alternative, is usually losing the 4th player, so it's what they try to do.
A killer doesn't know whether they'll face relaxed players or teams that stick to gens whenever they possibly can.
This has alway been the answer for "Why tunnels, why why why", it's the game's design really.
I believe they they should redesign a lot of stuff in this game; focus on what's actually fun and ditch what just ends up being 'chores'.

I'm glad someone else noticed this considering this "Issue" is also on the locked Level 3 and 4 according to the leaked Challenges.
That's really bad.

I made a post about this on the "technical issues" part of the forum, the day the new level came out, because I didn't know about the bug reporting section (couldn't find it, I'm new to the forum). Glad someone else made a post about it on the correct part of the forums.

It's because they don't want to put in the good stuff. They want you to buy the killer's that have the perks you want.
I just bought Plague a few days ago *sigh*. If only I knew corrupt would be in the next shrine...
