I agree. Her Tome should get a do-over.
I really don't think that is a realistic possibility. It would be better make a new tome story.
That said, I think the good way of going about it would be telling a story that takes place in her past building similar to Trapper or Wraith. Something building up to what they became, generally reinforcing ideas, or establishing new themes that build upon the character.
Trapper's story is about a bright and supportive young man who values those close to him changing into someone who enjoys dominating, controlling, and applying pain to other people. It expands upon his backstory in a way that makes him a lot more interesting and even ties into his playstyle. all the while leaving the mysterious backstory from his bio still mysterious. Wraith's a story of a young child living under oppression and fear during a real life historical conflict, of which (in the context of the story) resulted in everyone the boy ever knew being slaughtered out of racism and nationalism as he underground beneath them and him taking out his suffering through gruesome murder of who wronged him. Gruesome murder by burning the soldiers alive in their sleep. Expands upon his theme of people oppressed by others and a situation of his control leading to a growing darkness and hatred. Also tying into his in-game ability of killing survivors while they are unaware of his presence, and fleshing out the history of the sort of life he came from beyond the immediate backstory from his bio. Hag would probably benefit from something similar.
Tell a story from her village. Perhaps expand upon her character with themes of paranoia, mystery, and suspicion inside a quiet little village. Add on to the theme of fear and desperation from her bio. Build upon the mysteriousness of the cannibals are treated with in the flavor text in her addons and some of her cosmetics, and/or upon the very consistent theme from her cosmetic flavor text of the loss of what her life could have been had it not been taken from her. Perhaps she was a bright and promising young girl in a quiet village with a hidden and mysterious evil lurking within it waiting to take it all away. Just throwing out ideas here. -

They dont even have to be good bots. Just something to where survivors can get to know maps, looping, flashlights and other things without the pressure of a real match.
That's fair. Even just being able to explore and test things out around a map as survivor would be nice tbh. Like just opening a custom game with no killer or somethin.

wish there was a "menu background selector" but its nice to have the more peaceful default one again even if it's a bug.
There should at least be an option use the classic forest one. Having every single one available might be a bit much but just having the original as toggle would be so nice.

Going off experience with bot killers in 2v8 and intuition, bot killers are way harder to implement than survivors. 2v8 Nurse bots shred through survivors like they're a p100 nurse main or something, meanwhile Trapper bot is just generally very confused.
Its way more work than its probably worth. -
I assume they are just stuck at campfire realms like the survivors.

What do you think decisive strike is?
Also the entity physically enhances the killers. Theyre supernaturally strong.
-
Mikaela's nightmares have nothing to do with The Unknown. A theme in the lore is artists and people with some supernatural connection being able to have glimpses into other worlds and even the entity's realm. The entity also influences victims through visions their dreams.

isnt it curently the default??
From what I have seen people have been saying this is due to a bug.

It very much depends. DBD's lore is amazing but the writing quality isn't always consistent. Canon lore novels also run risks with quality control.
Being a loser who reads the canon Magic the Gathering novels, I can not stress enough that quality control and communication are important for these things.

Yeah, bar Haddonfield none of the maps they adjusted needed any extra pallets. And especially not Crotus Prenn.
The adjustments to both Backwater Swamp maps were incredible and the inclusion of more pallets made sense.

Slugging epidemic is primarily balancing and design problem, not a community one.
Leaving people on the ground at least temporarily is a completely normal tactic generally speaking, as it dodges potential saves or immediet oppertunities at hitting someone else. Downside being the risk of the survivor just being picked up, resulting in you losing a potential hook or in some cases your snowball completely falling apart.
The issue however is that there are so many punishments or counters to the killer picking up or hooking available to survivors that it is more often actually more strategically sound to just leave people on the ground. Why risk the higher odds of a pickup/hook becoming pointless with no reward when you can just leave the survivor there and get back to work?

From what I remember Otz was primarily talking about how generally killers are more popular when theres an immediet satisfaction. Players generally getting it more often, quickly, and easily with high mobility killers for example like Blight or Ghoul as opposed to Artist's lack of a sound effect trigger on landing a bird hit or Hag requiring constant micromanaging before achieving those satisfactory hits and downs.
Its a side effect of killer playstyles/difficulties or a lacking in certain presentation aspects. Doesn't mean a killer needs to be reworked.

I have never really felt much issue with that stuff personally. Issue is mainly just the 4.4/4.6 gimmick. Makes sense why its there but it serves more as a hindrance of inconsistent movement.
-
This was an issue in the PTB. Weird it was never fixed before launch.
-
I didn't think this was a bug? I thought they just hadn't included it for whatever reason.

No Hag banner…
Expected but I'm still sad. -
Can confirm a month later. Pretty annoying.
