Can we push this into the next q and a video? Either the, shall give us an explicit answer to use it or not to use it, or they should finally get rid of these game mechanics after nearly 3 years. This game should be fun, and not an annoying keyboard breaker. This game needs so many QoL patches, it's insane that the Devs haven't done much in nearly 3 years

Can you try to implement a cinema mode like in other games to watch a match afterwards from every perspektive (maybe even flying cam)? This would be so good fro many reasons (detecting hackers, learning mistakes etc)

Can u share the exact preset of AdaptiveFog? For me for example some hair gets transparent like from the Spirit or Jake, but when I try to fix that the whole effect is not impressive like in ur Screenshots heretrappa said:download ReShade, activate AdaptiveFog and play with the rest of the settings to your desire.

Are you cereal? lol... I don't get 60 fps... I get about 40 if im lucky... I have no problem hitting them. Perhaps stop playing on a potato. There should be no issues hitting those skill checks on 30 fps. Skill checks are all client side.
All I can say is.. When I play survivor, which I do mostly, and I see survivors in the high ranks gen tapping... They suck at skill checks, which are pretty easy to hit with practice. They aren't doing it because of 30 fps.. If that is the excuse they must be only getting 10 fps, and it isn't my fault they are playing on a potato.
Gen tapping is what noob survivors do.
They are doing it because they can't hit great skill checks and/or, want to bypass ruin and lullaby.
Not talking about consoles either... PCs. I don't know how anyone plays on consoles.
So: gentapping 30fps > spend hundreds of dollars for DbD just to hit great skill checks. U can't change my mind here. Cuz dbd is the only game in library that is running so bad optimised -

About gentapping: as Killer u should be glad to get someone who's gentapping a whole gen, this takes longer as rushing by missing ruin great skillchecks

This would probably kill the fps of most if us, look how bad it's already optimized already after each update it's getting worse. So the short version, if you decide to do it, you're doing it at your own risk.
They can at least give informations how many people got banned by editing which files, when anti cheats procs etc. That's not some magic to provide these informations, many other devs give exact informations so we player don't need to worry but have the best experience to choose -

Is editing in Gameusersettings.ini and Engine.ini allowed? If not, any plans to give us players more options to adjust the quality of the game for low end PCs?

Btw, did the devs published some kind of list of ALL things which will lead to a ban? I'm curious what files are allowed to edit and which not. Gameusersettings for example is 100% allowed, not_Queen told this back then -

Actually on steam an easy way to find out that you did legacy legitly is if you go to your acheivements and go to were the prestiege 1,2,3, and 3 lvl 50 are. if you look to the right it will tell you the day you acheieved those achievements if they are before the end cutoff for legacy then yes you got legacy. Steam achievements cannot be manipulated by save files so just show them that and make sure they know its your steam profile. (send them a link to your profile and your ahcievement list of dbd). This can also be used to find people who hacked leagacy and all that jazz.

They run their game unoptimized. It uses spaghetti code. They can’t balance it for #########. I have no reason to be favoring them; don’t think that I am.

They could have done sooo many things. The easiest one would be to code a program checking the achievement and the date. If prestige was earned before the dead line -> legacy handed out. And even if its not possible to find out which char was prestiged, they could just gave for every survivor/killer due to prestige level. This would be the minimum to say sorry from devs side about all the suffering we went through. (I mean, I lost my save file 2 times.. Imagine spending over 50 million BP at once.. It sucks I agree but the problem which has been created can only be fixed by giving people another chance to earn them which we know will never happen.
