the perk itself is already strong but the only reason its a problem is because its a horribly designed solo stomper perk
-
welcome to dbd brother its been that way since 2016 and its not gonna change anytime soon

Whereabouts in Oz are you? I'm in Western Australia and we often connect to the SEA server anyway from here. So it hasn't been out of the ordinary for me. Perhaps some slight ping issues but not too bad
QLD for me but i first assumed it was just me but literally everyone i know is experiencing it aswell
-
the same meta perks have always and unfortunately will always be what you see 95% of the time but you should just play what you like and make it work
-
solo has always been bad it always will be bad but it has a certain charm to it tbh just observing the creatures you run into is pretty fun
-
trickster is better then before but get singu instead hes WAY cooler then trickster ever will be
-
as a long time billy main i believe it is slightly to much and billy was more then fine after the initial changes all though i didnt initially like overdrive because it was uncontrollable with engravings and now i do like overdrive because i can actually use it, if they do nerf billy back to 0.75 then i would also like to see overdrive get some sort of change to be more useable
-
i think thats just bad use of bam tbh any survivor who is decent in chase and realises that the killer has bam brainrot is just gonna shift w every window while the killer mindgames themselves but if you only use bam when its actually advantageous its def worth on bubba
-
imo as a new player you should pretty much disregard winning and instead just focus on actually getting better in chase and at general macro gameplay winning will come with improvement in other areas at the end of the day whether the pixels on the screen show an escape or a kill isnt really a big deal and should just motivate you to learn and get better
-
well i have like 12k saw downs and still find billy fun so gg youre addicted
-
billy, wesker, oni (in a 4man), nurse (in a 4man) and demo
-
its literally just bhvrs garbage servers
-
freddy is the single worst killer in the game any decent team should not lose to freddy and if they do it should be due to a misplay that allows the freddy to use heavy slowdown perks or something alike
-
it just makes battery addons better
-
they probably just dont want people reselling them for 500$ after the fact
-
bbq, agi and iri engravings ive won about 29 of the 30 billy games ive played

Can anyone please tell me how to counter billy now? it seems impossible to loop him, his power has 0 cooldown, or at least thats what it seems, I cant do sh*t even throwing pallets, or juking him, because in the next second he has his chainsaw again. Why BHVR never seems to hit the correct spot? It always has to be waaay too Overtuned, or absolute dogsh*t, never the correct one so everyone is happy.
instead of playing super risky and 50/50 like you did vs trash billy you just play safe and you need to capitalize off of any bumps he does because its a long cd compared to missed chainsaw
-
no one ever knew in pubs because you see 1 twins per 5 months and the counterplay to twins is to play in coordinated pairs and protect eachother from victor which doesnt happen in solo or even 9/10 swfs
-
its not even slightly close to other online pvp games. I legit think the people who say "dbd is the most toxic game ive ever played" have never played another online game ever
-
its just a bug with overdrive
-
twins
-
So do killers literally just run 4 slowdown and good addons and play good macro and you will 9/10 times even vs survivors that bring busted stuff

Even comp players have said as much. I've seen Team Eternal players flat out say good killers should win 95% of their games in pub matches. Yet people keep trying to argue that pub matches are impossibly hard for killers.
yep i win the vast majority of my matches with no perks or weak perks while barely paying attention just based off the fact i have almost 6k hours and thats like 5k+ hours more then the average opponent im not even particularly good or anything. People that have much less experience then me can just slap on pop pain res and call it a day tho, losing more then 30-40% of your killer matches is just a pure skill issue at this point
-
in average pub matches killer is easily the best at the TOP level its survivor still (this doesnt happen in public matches)
-
nurse is boring if the player is bad and shes also boring solo but she becomes one of the best to vs in a good 4 man when she is good aswell
-
i wish i got tunnelled more instead of having to hold m1 on gens
-
if they are actually good at m2 only billy or demo or whatever killer then yes if not then no not really its kinda boring
i was also talking with a friend just the other day about how after i got a certain amount of hours sm myers became really boring to play vs because anyone with more then x amount of hours is just gonna roll him because t1 is garbage it doesnt matter if he has wallhacks and no tr if the survivors have a brain

list of bad things about skull merchant
- everything

There's no alternative to coordination, solo will always have these problems because when survivors try to do completely contradictory things, they screw each other over and they lose the game.
Once you accept this and learn to play around it solo isn't that bad.
solo has solo problems whats not a "solo" problem is instantly giving up

I would actually agree on the dc but not a lot of afks, but I seem to have players who simply refuse to Unhook or heal and just Tbag while im at hook or something.
yeah they give up and decide that means no one else wants to play the match either so they throw
-
@Hexling said:
If you play solo q dont try to win just go for funny plays If you want to win I would try out the discord and find a swf.
i agree and i like to play for chase but i have 6k hours in the game and as soon as killers realise im not free they just ignore me and go murder my 200 hour teammates (which is fair btw) but its just a bit sad feeling on survivor side

It's 100% a matchmaking problem. My solo queue matches go one of two ways:
A: my teammates are about my skill level, but we face a relative baby killer who gets a couple hooks and we 4 out.
B: I have one decent teammate and two players who compete to be the worst players alive, and the killer is something like a quad slowdown Blight with thousands of hours. Game is lost as soon as the match is made.
There are probably close to 100k players peak, yet it is so exceedingly rare that I feel like I had a solo queue match that was well made. Something is always off. The teammates are great and the killer is awful, or the teammates are awful and the killer is good. I don't know what it is about how they built the algorithm, but it is almost impossible for it to put together a well played match that results in a 2k.
And maybe I'm wrong, but until they start providing receipts and showing us what is happening in our matches regarding MMR, I don't believe the devs.
the problem isnt even skill lvl difference for me and dont get me wrong i dont like being matched vs people that have 10x less hours then me but atleast thats playable whats not playable is when people insta give up

getting 4 bbq stacks oh wait..... 😞
-
wraith???????? bro is an m1 killer hes legit free in chase

Not sure if I’m just bad or if it’s a bug?? I play on console so I understand that Chucky can’t be used to his full potential compared to console with flicks. But I’ve noticed a lot instead of actually hitting the survivor during slice and dice I just move around them and miss? It’s really frustrating especially when it feels like they should hit
chucky works different from every other m2 killer which is hard to get used t oat the start its like oni dash with no m1 attack you have to let go of power instead but it also allows you to ignore bodyblocks with power which is nice just hard to get used to initially
-
nah but people come into the game ready to gens because killer meta is so slowdown heavy atm
-
i have met many really good people and many actual friends thru dbd

It is normal that out of 4 survivors 3 always carry dead hard.
it is abnormal that a perck is always used so abusive in time and nerf another perck like Eruption that "helps" in the reduction of the progression of generators.
but 3/4 killers run eruption

Not deep for you bec you are low mmr.
As i said you just admit that swf is op by saying nobody will play vs swf with filter.
You dont even understand what i write....
no people wouldnt play with no swf because unlike you clearly, most people actually play for fun with their friends and dont make dbd their whole life also your im low mmr argument is stupid mmr doesnt work past a soft cap that is so low anyone can be "top mmr" the only place mmr works is THE BOTTOM of the playerbase and even then depending on queue times it still is iffy but if you wanna check out my steam profile and stats ill link it to you
-
its really not that deep if you think removing swf is a good thing im sorry but your just dumb it would kill the game overnight so either get over it and get better at the game or stop playing???
-
i can guarantee the average game even vs a 4 man is not hard and if you really think its that hard its just a skill issue
-
eruption specifically no gen focused gameplay on both sides for sure
-
i play demo and practice skydemo
-
just keep playing tbh at some point you kinda just dont care anymore (i have 4k hours but still)
-
dead dawg for survivor and wreckers yard for killer

Ruin fell out of favor because there are better alternatives.
DH did not fall out of favor because there are no better alternatives.
thats not really true sb is wayy better then dh its just that dh is the only interactive exhaustion perk its simply the most fun to use while also being strong dont get me wrong

Well Coal Tower is probably the ideal balanced map size in my opinion.
i would say wreckers yard tbh or dead dawg some coal tower rng is INSANE

They wont nerf killers, since they are happy with current killrates.
it wouldnt really be a nerf to either side it would just be more a gameplay shift
