This is simply dumb. You sound like a killer who’s failed to pressure gens and have been DS’ed at the endgame multiple times. Maybe you should improve your game by gen pressuring rather than chasing one survivor for long periods of time then complaining that DS is too strong. Killers these days have way way better perks than survivors. DS and unbreakable are really the only two excellent perks that are game changers, the rest are either useful but not amazing or just down right #########.
especially when most killers use NOED which by your logic should be reworked too cus it’s op as an endgame perk, DS makes it all the more important perk cus of NOED. Get better before you complain. DS is a really good perk that can change the game but it’s not impossible to counter. Just down them and leave them alone for a minute then DS runs out. Which in the mean time you can slug. Easy

This isn't right. I was the killer and that rank 20 did not deserve to be in that game. I hooked them twice and realized they didn't know anything and I was going to spare them. They suicided on hook and I don't blame them. I just hope they don't give up on the game. This is a problem.
Yep, I’ve had many games like this. I don’t know what they’ve done to the matchmaking but they really need to fix this quickly otherwise they’ll see a lot of new players just quit the game which would be sad cus this is a really fun game

I wonder how many new players to DbD are never going to pick up the game again after suffering from the New and Improved MMR system?
Exactly. I’m a rank 6 survivor and I’ll admit I’m pretty average in the game but I’m experienced but even when I keep facing much much better killers like rank 1s it’s just not fun, especially if your team mates are like rank 19 or thereabouts.

hex ruin isn’t even that frustrating to cope, sure it’s difficult but it’s not OP or anything. I find it it’s just an effective perk but doesn’t ruin the whole game. I can think of way more bullshit perks or add ons that take the fun out of the game than ruin. It’s a basic perk and for me its totem usually gets found fairly quickly

If you consider spine chill bad because it doesnt help you enough, I would argue you are probably using it wrong, or you just arent paying enough attention to your surroundings even with it. And calling Ghost face op would make most players of this game laugh. Calling him strong would still make a lot laugh. But at least thats closer to the truth. Ghost face is not op, not even close. If GF was op I shudder to think what realm, Freddy, spirit and nurse is in.
Nurse ain’t even good what r u on about?
ghostface is better than all killers you’ve mentioned

thats just it though, with stealth killers they could come up to you easily with a smack or grab you off the gen if you didnt have spine chill. not to mention when the killer is close you get that extra percentage that can be crucial in helping you like being chased and the extra vault speed comes to help
Nah but even so, Spine chill hardly improves that. Every argument I have about Ghostface being OP people say use Spine Chill then he’s easy. I do use spine chill and it hardly makes a difference. It’s only handy in letting you know that the killer’s looking at you, cool but you won’t know where from

Absolutely agree. The only ones disagreeing with this are obviously killer mains. It’s so OP. People saying just dodge them cus apparently it’s easy. Bs. Huntress hatchets have a bs hit box as it is so now combine this with her hatchets being 1 hit down that’s just so ridiculously OP. Basically don’t need skill now with that. Cus with the ######### hit box you can basically completely miss the survivor and still hit them.
this has to either be completely removed from the game cus it’s just bs and I can’t be bothered playing against that or you add some big handicap to get the 1 hit hatchet like for example you have to hit 3 survivors before it becomes 1 hit (maybe something similar to Myers main ability) or the 1 hit hatchet only applies to the obsession or whatever.
it just makes being huntress so easy, it removes the skill involved in the game. I’ve seen yellow ranks have this 1 hit down hatchets and they’d get 3k or 4k even if they were completely shite.

I think with all of Pig’s weaknesses makes up for the fact that getting the traps off survivors is based on luck and I found your luck as a survivor to get traps off is reasonably slim. For that I don’t think Pig doesn’t need to be that buffed except maybe making her crouch walk faster.
the times I’ve played against pig which I’ve noticed isn’t very often, I managed to get the trap off like 4 times out of let’s say 10-15 times I’ve played against her recently. If anything I think they should slightly increase the chance of getting the trap off cus I’ve been dying against the pig from her traps more than actually being third hooked.
basically you just gotta pressure survivors who got traps on their heads by monitoring those trap machines survivors would go to to get the trap off which means survivors have the pressure of the time they have left to get the trap off AND being aware that the killer will most likely know where you are. That’s basically how Pigs have won games.
idk if you’re struggling with the pig but she’s not easy to play against if you know what to do with her

Legion is ridiculous with the right perks. He’s the least fun killer to play against as a survivor . I’m not gonna be a cry baby and say he’s OP but honestly just give Legion thanatophobia or perks that slow healing progress or reveals survivors location then he’s downright impossible to play against even with high ranks. It’s honestly so dumb.
legion is a slow game killer which doesn’t sound bad as a survivor but basically everyone focused on healing each other rather than gens and there’s little you can do about that cus legion will eventually kill you off one at a time slowly but surely.

Not necessarily. They'll do it to secure a kill or get someone out of the game to skew balance in their favor. They'll do it because they're relying on the altruism of teammates to get more hits/kills. I'm not arguing that it isn't done for petty reasons (I've been facecamped because I managed to land a Head On stun and the Spirit was NOT happy about it) or to troll (hello Insidious Bubba memeing), but it's done for more than just that.
But even if it were for just petty reasons, those are not bannable offenses, which is the main point of this discussion. And because they're not bannable offenses, people will continue to do them for whatever reason floats their boat, so the least BHVR could do it offer some consolation to the survivors that get ######### over because of it.
Yeah my point was that it should be bannable because however you like to argue that it’s a “legit strat” it takes away the fun in the game. There’s no skill to it, you can be the crappest killer in the game and still get a petty kill with it.

You CAN'T ACTUALLY face camp someone anymore. You can always be rescued, so quit calling it that! I swear, if half of you knew what face camping actually USED to be, you'd crawl in a ball and cry... And the killer gets penalized for being within the proximity of the hook.
Can’t face camp anymore? Have u stopped playing or something? U can most definitely face camp in this game. What are u on about?
-
@Yung_Slug said:
So killers who camp too close to the hook already start losing chaser points after 10 seconds, and the penalty accelerates over time I believe. I think the survivor who is getting camped should receive emblem points for distracting the killer while that is happening, similar to how you now get lightbringer points for running the killer around while your team is doing gens. That way the survivor who got face camped can at least black pip.
I don't think killers should be punished for face-camping any further. It's already a bad strategy that only works on potatoes.
But face campers don’t care about BP. They don’t do it to get BP cus u don’t get much from camping as it is. They do it to troll you and/or out of spite. Removing BP from them wouldn’t deter them
-
@toxcitynacl said:
No just make it so the longer you camp the more points you lose until your BP for the game reaches zero.
Most face campers do it just to be a troll so I don’t think they could care less if they get hardly any BP. You already don’t get that much BP from face camping as it is and yet it’s not deterring them from doing it
-
@animalmak said:
I wouldn't say bannable because that's extreme for something that's a legit tactic (even if not a good one). And killers already lose points in the Chaser category for doing it.
However, if I'm the survivor on hook, I would love Distraction or Assist BP events if I'm being facecamped. At least give me something if I'm not going to be able to get off the hook.
It’s not a “legit” tactic because that’s not the reason it’s done that way. People do it cus they’re salty or purely just to be a troll. A tactic would suggest there’s some logic behind it. There isn’t. Survivors if they’re smart would gen rush and that killer is gonna get one petty kill and very little BP. Don’t give me that bs, sorry not having it 😂

@MauriceMaverick said:
I agree mostly, but I'm not okay with your sentence that basically says „toxic isn't ok, but only the killers should be punished for doing it, because doing it is more fun than facing it as surviver.“ (yes, it is pretty simplified). And that is not ok. When we get a toxic punishment-button, it should be for survivers aswell. I'm not saying, you didn't got a point, because you do, I really agree with you, but I had a bit conversation with some face campers, and the say, they only do it because there tired of being offended via t-bagging by survivers in other matches. That's still no reason to do it, but it is part of the problem.
I’m not denying that survivors can be toxic but survivors toxicity does NOT stop the game for you. You can still actively play the game and kill them. You can’t do anything if you’re being camped. There’s a huge difference here. I’ve played killer and faced toxic survivors and it’s not a big deal honestly, sure it’s a bit annoying but I still play my game and end up 4king then 🙂
killer mains that are saying that are making a unreasonable excuse
