  • To me the only way to win if you are killed or sacrificed is if you gain a pip towards ranking up. I consider it a draw if u hit a safety pip because u neither gain nor risk losing rank. But oohhhh do I despise face campers/tunnelers when Im ranking up. Like get a life 😂

This literally just happened, and there was no announcement regarding MMR. How can anyone have a better or worse overall experience with so little data?

With MMR, it seems ranks in the end screen are now hidden. Has anyone felt like their games have been better by this feature?

This hasn't changed the experience of my games and instead just makes me feel like I have anyway way of knowing how well I did in the match.

I personally hate that ranks are hidden now, but I wanted to know what others thought.

Hell no! It's been an absolute mess. I took a break from the game to play some old favorites, came back, within a week had made it to rank 8 but as soon as they brought back this supposed SBMM all I'm getting are face and proxy camping losers. Like come on Behavior. I honestly think killers need an extremely heavier BP and objective penalty for being in proximity of hooked survs. Their SBMM has been super inconsistent. I either get really good killers who make the trials absolutely challenging and fun or basically whoever gets hooked first is guaranteed to die and start dropping rank

Spine Chill offers 6% gen speed... Nice

Combined with resilience 9% speed... 15% is great..

But it only works if spine Chill is active... This means whens the killer is looking a you... 9/10 times spine Chill is only active for a good few seconds when the killer is approaching you...

So you get 6%....for about 2 3 seconds... By that time you have to run away as the killer is in your radius..

Imo, if you're using spine Chill for any sort of gen rushing builds or gen speeds...then it's just pointless...its a waste of a perk slot. Put on built to last, prove thyself, streetwise, resilience...Its just not worth it..

I just use it to protect myself and team from stealth Ks like Mike, pig, and Ghost, I got yanked off a gen on one by Micheal and that was it. My heart popped out of my chest and I'm pretty sure I woke my neighbors up

Just got into the Shrine map. So huge map. Literally in the first couple of seconds into the match before I even found someone or really move three gens popped. I was instantly done after that. Just went AFK and let them leave. No way to even get a 1k after that unless I camped and tunneled. That 3 gen rush instantly killed my mood for playing the match. I couldn’t even gen patrol cause the map was so huge. Not only that but I’m rank 10 and can’t depip at all. I didn’t kill anyone in my other matches just hooked. I should be down to at least 12 by now but I can’t depip. I don’t want to face off against these level of survivors. They are out of my league.

Dont get discouraged bubba. They don't all swing your way. I've lost 3 back to back as a surv, literally the only kill because of camping and I know it's infuriating but just play through it just cussin under ur breath the entire time I was level 9 goin against level 1 killers and I'm over here like uhh excuse me? I have a social life why am I going against TTV losers and kids with no job🤣

Over the past couple of weeks I have been slowly falling in love with the Twins. Right now they're the only Killer I play outside of dailies and challenges. Here are some of the reasons why I've started maining them.

    1. The Twins are all about map pressure. You're always doing something. Parking one of them where you might want to come back to and using one to scout just feels really productive. They probably spend the most time of any Killer in chase. Plus both of them can be useful even when they're dormant. Especially since Victor can randomly reveal Survivors to you and Charlotte can bodyblock. Threatening someone off a generator in a house and parking Charlotte on the staircase so they can't stop the regression is priceless. Also, the Twins are the only Killer that can actively defend a Totem while still playing the game (Victor can tell you when someone is nearby so you can swap and Charlotte can literally sit on it so no one can interact with it). Extremely good for Devour or Ruin if people find out where it is because you can cock block them super hard.
    2. The Twins are the only Killer that makes you feel like you're part of a team. Charlotte and Victor each have moments where they make plays for eachother. It's so cool when you're chasing as one and you swap to the other because the Survivor is running that direction and get the interception. Or when Charlotte gets a surprise down on an oblivious Survivor that Victor has jumped on.
    3. The Twins are really strong and versatile even at the highest level. Games can end at 5 gens. Games can end at 1 gen. And both happen pretty regularly. A game can quickly turn from a bad situation into a snowball. The Twins have a super strong streamroll and comeback factor that most other Killers simply don't have. When you play Twins, you don't have the same stress as other Killers because the game can turn in your favor at any moment.
    4. The Twins aren't very add-on dependent or map dependent. Slap on the brown add-on Toy Sword and pick literally anything else for variety and you're in business. Also, because of your map pressure and slugging potential, most maps are alright for the Twins except maybe a few Coldwind Maps. I never find myself using map offerings with them and I couldn't even tell you their best map because you can play most maps well with the Twins.

That's really it. The Twins are a super unique Killer to play and I feel like most people don't appreciate how good they are. Sometimes you have to play a little bit dirty to win, but you can put in a lot of work with them.

The second you said you enjoy body blocking you admitted you're trash🤣 idc what you say if you can't pressure gens and finish chases without camping a hook just stick to playing surv. I just started playing killer last month whenever my bros aren't on and not once have I thought"hey let me be a clown and camp a body to help boost my ego" I respect the twinfs for the gen pressure ability but I love rubbing and escape in player like yours faces when they post up and camp hooks

Why is this still a thing?

Why do all of you whine? From perks and add-ons that allow insta-down, a higher walking speed, perks like Ruin and the fact that the only keys that can open it are purple and pink tier. You act like killers are supposed to win every game. Stop crying or find a new game to try and ruin. Just because your life revolves around a video game and nothing else doesn't mean u try to ruin it for people who play for fun. Keys don't need to be balanced or changed to help your ego

After seeing so many people suggest the Trickster should be 115%, I decided to go back and read things around the release of deathslinger and huntress, and the same things were said about them. I guess I just don't get how people thought these people needed to be 115%. If we want to talk buffs for the Trickster, there are much better ways to do it, but making a ranged killer 115% isn't the solution to the flaws.

People just need to stop trying to buff stuff 🤣 the devs made the game and characters the way it's meant to be. Just because people can't get kills with a certain killer or escape as a surv doesn't mean the devs need to fix their lack of skills. If u can win, don't play or simply get better

  • To me it's teleporting characters like spirit or nurse and doc depending on his loadout, if he's gen camping with ruin you know he's trash. I play ghost face so it's not as much as I despise playing against him it's more of me yelling out his add ons because I can tell exactly what he's running and telling my team not to mess with him🤣 but teleporting Killers just because if it's only down you you and they close the hatch you better hope they respect the code of offering your item to them

I like to play as Doctor and be a bit toxic and mad but against him? No way always hated it he is so annoying.

Shock happy docs just need UAV to even be remotely good at the game. I respect green to red tiers who play him and don't over abuse schick's or gen camp but yeh solo vs a doc Im immediately like "if I could back out I would"

I'm really enjoying both roles in the game and I consider myself as an average player (surely not amongst the bests and not noob anymore : 1k hours). My goal when I start the game is to sit down and have a good time.

The last 2 months, I constantly face 1 or 2 red ranks as a rank 10-11 killer...

No need to wait until the game ends to see the ranks, when you play, you immediately feel the potential of survivors.

Experience learnt me to leave the strongest survivors in the early game. But even then, they know how to be efficient on gens, and I get my first hook when they already finished 2,5 gens (halve their objectives while I'm only at 1/12).

I set importance to improve my gameplay. But the fun factor is even more important to me. And I'm missing this the past weeks...

The same goes when I'm a survivor. When you face a killer with a much lower level as you, there is no fun. You don't feel the threat and the pressure. Although that's why we play this game, right ?

I mean matchmaking was never great and is certainly a complex issue to fix. But I feel the trend is worsening highly.

I am wondering if this feeling was also shared by others down here. Are there any concrete info from BHVR that they are adressing this issue ?

I mean...if people don't play killer, Ithey won't buy any new DLC...

i can't imagine they are letting this issue standing still for so long...

Or maybe I see things wrong and you're just supposed to have fun when you play survivors ?

Find a killer you can have fun with no matter what. I play ghost face because he scares tf outta me from nowhere as a surv, plus every now and then I'll rack some hooks then crouch next to gens with Survs and act like I'm repairing em with them🤣 plus I love getting low ranked killers as a surv because juking them and racking up bold points and winning chases are always fun. Only killer I dislike in chases are the spirit and the leagion just because the speed and teleportation but escaping them is very satisfying

  • @fpschosen said:

    change my mind please

Not really OP more of annoying. Especially with one that runs ruin because all they do is gen loop like scrubs. Plus playing solo against him can be annoying especially if your mates are just grabbing u as soon as he walks 10 feet away. OP ain't it tho. The spirit and Killers like Ghost Face and Pig that eliminate the radius are. Docs are usually just gen campers

I’m getting really bored of playing killer, chasing survivors away from a generator, only for them to go right back to it forcing me to have to chase them away again. They just keep tunnelling the generator until it is completed and it’s frankly toxic, anti-fun behaviour. Please try to make the game fun for everyone involved and spread your repairs around all the generators evenly. Thank you.

Sorry to say buddy but as someone who joined at the middle of January I've already seen how much of an advantage killers have. From teleporting, traps, completely eliminating the terror radius and heart beat, and oh yeh... The ability to literally kill Survs, you're just being a child. I play killer frequently as well as survivor, and I've had clean wipes of Survs and other times they kick my butt. But I've never complained that survivors have it easy like ######### bro finish ur kill or stop playing killer if you aren't good enough. If you play killer with the kind of a survivor you'll find it rather easy
