Twins. I wanna give them some love since they're hardly picked but Victor seems like he'd be easy to get clowned on with since all it takes is one miss to get kicked and u wasted ur time lol
-
I like the aesthetic of the map but it's way too orange imo, I'd like if the color was toned down. I'm hype for custom matches where I can face killers/survivors on their lore-accurate maps.
-
Legion or Cenobite would've been good options to have a similar power, I wonder if their powers would be different if they had A.I. ready back then
-
I'm glad this is fully original. I wanted to see BHVR bring their own creativity to a Medieval themed chapter
-
I'm not even a huge Hellraiser fan (only seen the first) but I like Pinhead for the same reason and have become quite skilled at him
-
I don't see it happening but I think a Carrie chapter would be perfect for subverting tropes, the more sympathetic character would be the killer (Carrie) and the evil one would be the survivor (Chris Hargensen)
-
Legendary cosmetics are the only cosmetics I care about and still no
-
I think the business model this game has is pretty intelligent and unique for a pvp game, the constant mixture of new and licensed stuff getting added keeps people guessing and as long as they can keep getting licenses that can generate hype the game can go on indefinitely.
-
No point even engaging with people like this, it's like the old saying "you'll rarely win an argument with an intelligent person but you'll never win an argument with an unintelligent person" I have a general rule online to not exchange more than 2 messages in a disagreement because it's just banging your head against a wall
-
If you're going for a win yeah, don't let people tell you how you're supposed to play. SWF is already a massive advantage, I think it's only fair to tunnel, especially if you're playing a weaker killer

It is pretty niche but I think it would work better than American horror story that has a different story every year.
& we got stuff like Hellrasier which I don't even remember being particularly all that big during its hey day years ago (I was around for it)
I would have Chucky since he's my most wanted but I'm certain he'll get in. He'll certainly be included in my dbd full back tattoo next April, maybe I could sneak emma roberts in too & hope to inspire the devs!
:0 That's devotion. definitely post a pic of that somewhere and hopefully it'll blow up where the devs see it. I'd love some Emma Roberts rep too. She is THE Scream Queen of the 2010s imo

Scream queens
Emma roberts is the only survivor who could possibly stop meg being my main!
Devil / swamp monster killer they killed in so many different ways i'm open to powers.
Even if the series eventually comes back (not impossible by most accounts but unlikely) I still doubt we'd get it in this game even though the vast array of potential skins would probably sell gangbusters
Very niche but I'd buy that lol I have no idea how that show only lasted two seasons that cast was stacked

1.The Thing
-Shapeshifting Killer would be rendered powerless against SWF unless bhvr can find a way around it.
2.Anything related to Stephen King
-There hasn't been a single Stephen King video game in the last 4 decades, so i don't see why there would be any coming to dbd anytime soon.
3.Any niche license that isn't well enough known.
-BHVR wants to make back the money they've spent making a dlc and so niche licenses are a gamble if it ain't got enough recognition.
4.Child's Play
-Mathieu Cote has doubled down recently on Chucky being too silly to join dbd.
I also don't know how they'd make a power for Chucky that isn't the same thing as Victor
-

The Thing with MacReady as the survivor and the Outpost 31 as the map, but since the thing is a shapeshifter it won't be added sadly even thought I think it would work
I actually think that has pretty good odds of being added, they don't even have to think about what his power would be, people have wanted a killer that shape-shifts into survivors since the beginning of the game and that would be perfect to do it with

Candyman
Base on both the original and the latest movie too. Survivor is Anthony McCoy, killer is 'The Candyman' who is also Anthony McCoy, same character in both roles. Legendary skins for Tony Todd's version of Candyman and Helen Lyle. Cabrini-Green could make a good map but realistically I wouldn't expect this chapter to have a map.
The Shining
But I think it would work better being based on Doctor Sleep. Survivor is adult Danny Torrance, killer is 'The Hat', both can have powers/perks revolving around the shining and physic powers. In this case, you couldn't not have The Overlook as a new map. (I'm sorry, I just don't see Jack Torrance working as a killer)
Alien
What more needs to be said? My version would be Ellen Ripley with Amanda Ripley and Arthur Dallas as a legendary skin. 'The Xenomorph' as killer obviously.
I liked Doctor Sleep, it would be interesting to see how they'd adapt Rose's power into dbd
-
To be honest the lore at first when it was short and sweet I didn't mind, but I don't really care about the newer lore or the archives/tome lore, I don't want to know every little detail about the killers, it makes them less scary. It reminds me of Rob Zombie's Halloween
-
I think now would be a good time for a suprise Cindy/Brenda paragraph with the introduction of Wassupface. I know they're owned by different companies but here's hoping lol
-
I know this is super late but I've noticed and been thinking about this too, it's the reason I think if a Candyman chapter ever happened we wouldn't get Helen Lyle, but rather Anne-Marie

I respectfully disagree that people are tired of Licensed Chapters. If we went on a, lets say, two year stretch with no new licenses, even just six straight original chapters, that would suck. As much as I love original chapters, they just don't bring "excitement". When done properly, licenses are absolute showstoppers
I can only speak for myself, but my interest tends to dwindle and stop entirely when they go on long stretches of original chapters, only for it to be reignited gloriously when something licensed is added
I still keep up with the original chapters to know who the new survivor/killer is, but the licenses add a Christmas morning-like excitement to the game
-
The Thing
Killer: The Thing (duh)
Survivor: RJ MacReady
I've never even seen this movie all the way through, but people have been wanting a killer that morphs into the survivors since the beginning of the game and this would be the perfect killer to do it with

I'd love to see him drop without a PTB/announcement (they could fine tune him later).
Imagine opening the game on Halloween or anniversary or something and he is just there, available for purchase, with the background being the new Crystal Lake map.
That'd be hype af, I wish people would do riskier marketing tactics like that more

Like a lot of people on the forums, I'm a hardcore fan of the F13 franchise. That being said, I can only speak for my self. And personally, if the Jason we get in DBD isn't the slow-moving unstoppable undead superhuman colossus, then words won't even begin to describe my disappointment
Yea. I wouldn't exactly prefer it, I'm just kind of expecting it off of the track record with licensed stuff. Any Jason is better than no Jason I guess
-
Interesting concept, it couldn't be anything too op but little Easter eggs would be cool!
-
I wouldn't want a whole chapter, but I wouldn't mind some legendary skins.
-
I love "The Prom Queen"! Dbd seems to like keeping the name of Killers one word so they'd unfortunately probably just name her "The Telekinetic"
I think it'd be cool if she was released as a chapter with Chris Hargensen as the survivor, it'd be an interesting formula change for the more sympathetic character to be the killer and the evil one be the survivor
-
Until Dawn, Sam, Mike and Wendigo
-
Tell me you're a survivor main without telling me

tbf, all ghostface masks featured in the movie is owned by Funworld including the wazzup mask, while Scary Movie is owned by Dimension films i believe.
I'm aware they're owned by different companies, just dreaming lol
-
I like taking a stand but idk if we have enough people that will actually stick to their guns. BHVR doesn't exactly have a track record of caring if the community doesn't like something
-
Here's hoping there's a suprise Cindy Campbell/Brenda Meeks paragraph to go with Wassupface
-
Most others have already said everything that's wrong with actual gameplay, I'm a little irked and worried about the crossovers recently and how they seem to be trying to distance themselves from horror.
I'm fine with some non-horror stuff getting cosmetics, but full chapters is too much and I can't in good conscience pay for it. I just feel like dbd is the first horror-only playground, action characters get featured in a ton and horror deserves it's moment. I'll get off my soapbox

I just wish they spent more time on them, Licensed chapters are meant to be bigger. but they always usually feel Boring after a while
They did a fantastic job with Pyramid head
Sadako chapter was fun but no map really bummed me out.
I don't feel like there is an excuse to not have a map with a licensed killer anymore especially since it seems they have given up on "the realm beyond"
Hard agree, they should rarely if ever not give a licensed property the full chapter treatment imo. Every time a license is announced I get tensed up in anticipation for there not being a survivor that goes with the killer lol
-
All Kill is one of my least fav chapters, but if it had a neon city street map it'd be one of my favorites, missed opportunity
-
Self care, I play like I'm injured in chase all the time because looping with only one health state stresses me out
-
I'm cautiously optimistic, 2018 was great, Kills wasn't the worst sequel but a big quality drop. I'm worried they didn't actually have an idea for a trilogy but just wanted to milk the hype
-
I hate a lazy Gen Squad. normally I'm the generator guy, but if I'm having a good chase I expect at least 2 to pop, it doesn't take that long. Then when I play killer they all get done in 5 minutes 😒
-
Treating Moris like this toxic BM behavior is silly in my opinion, that is a feature they chose to program and put in the game. Why shouldn't the killer get to Mori a particularly difficult to catch survivor? If they want a particular survivor out of the game they can just as easily facecamp, which is way less fun for both sides
-
I don't see a possibility of this not being added at some point, the question is WHEN will it be added
-
I'd rather a longer wait in between with a new map new survivor new killer everytime
-
I'm a survivor main but going against a high level swf is terrifying to me lol. They really need to focus on making the killer scarier and less of a joke. F13 had its own developer issues, but Jason felt like more of a threat, he got stronger the more you beat up on him
-
All Kill is one of my least favorite chapters, but I think it would become one of my favorites if there was a neon city street map, I imagine huge buildings with electronic billboards that have rotating dbd themed advertisements
-
Of all the BM'ing on the survivor and killer side they choose to address something that's a legitimate feature they chose to put in the game. Why shouldn't the killer have a right to mori a particularly difficult to catch survivor? If the killer wants a particular survivor out of the game he can just as easily facecamp, which is way less fun for both sides
-
This has nothing to do with her power, but her design. I like the concept, but I wish she was less pretty and more human/Crow hybrid looking, more horror. She kinda just looks like anime mommy
-
My picks would be
Friday the 13th
Until Dawn
The Shining
Carrie
The Thing
-
I'd say about 90% of the games I play I'm playing Survivor, and even still I think the survivors are given way too many second chances. To balance it out the killer needs a meta-ish perk at base kit also imo
-

Anything non-horror related, i'm fine with colabs but not full chapters.
This. I don't like to gatekeep but it's like action characters get added as guest characters to games all the time, dbd is the first and only thing to do that with horror characters. Horror fans are what's paying the bills here, It's a bit of a slap in the face
-
@AnneBonny said:
favorite is silent hill, least favorite is the one releasing in like 2 months.
I'm glad somebody else said it, I'd much rather an original take on a scary Knight than a licensed one that's not even horror related. I get it's a good marketing opportunity and you gotta get your coin but I really hope that's fake somehow
-

My favorite: All Kill. I love Trickster and Yun jin and is a crime this chapter dont have a map
My least: i think ghostface, because its just ghosty, and when he was out he was meme killer and hype went down so quick, and no map, no survivor and he was announce on 3rd anniversary broadcast and hype for him was to high, and he just disappointed a lot after that.
All Kill is one of my least favorites because I'm just not a kpop fan, however I think it would jump to upper-mid tier for me if there was a neon city street, I imagine electronic billboards with rotating dbd themed advertisements
-
I know this is late but I don't think they'll do it again, every licensed dlc they've released since then was on that survey and I think they'll want to keep the cards close to their chests on what licenses they're considering from now on
