If he wasn’t so dogshit on console I’d actually like him. BHVR should really give out refunds to console players that bought him, his rush is literally for mobility on console, borderline impossible to hit anyone with it unless they don’t move. Harder to play than nurse on console, I’d rather bash my head into a wall then continue to use him.

Why is it such a killer crutch? Just take it away for a patch cycle. See what happens. Sure there will be grief campers who will get gen down. Sorry but seems like a very viable perk. Hook one, know where others are. The bonus points claim is flimsy. It’s discussed a lot and it sure as heck shows up a LOT....
Dude, it’s obvious when someone has it the first time they use it. Get into a locker when they pickup the survivor and it does nothing. At any rank above 8 it’s good for 1 or 2 uses then everyone that isn’t braindead clues in.

I feel like if would encourage more people to play killer. We all know the shortage of killers and the long survivor queues. Thoughts?
one side shouldn’t be treated better than the other. That’s unfair, bloodpoints also would do nothing if the gameplay is unbalanced and unfair and unfun for killer which it is.
-
In over a year at rank 1 I’ve maybe encountered 2 spirits that were actually god tier. It’s insanely rare
-
I’m rank 1 killer and survivor. I play every killer a lot so playing around each killers power is second nature because I know how to play them. I run the same perks every time for the most part but I switch it up sometimes. Usually Dead Hard, Spine Chill, Windows, and Kindred. I play with stealth but also aggressive if I have to, I take protection hits and play for my team but also know when it’s a lost cause. I don’t get greedy with loops and don’t try to stun the killer, but I also don’t waste pallets if I know I’m gonna get it. I’m really not the greatest looper, I think I’m above average but my success at higher ranks has come from game knowledge and game sense. Being efficient and knowing what to do when. Playing killer and multiple killers is a big deal, you need to understand what the other side is thinking.
-
I’m a rank 1 killer main and this is iffy. Like I just wait the dead hard every time cause it’s so popular. Distance is tricky and not having the option to wait is rough but that’s just the perk doing what’s it’s supposed to do, just like how sprint burst gives you distance and can bait hits. The invulnerability is kinda dumb but if that was removed then it would be garbage. It’s not gamebreaking but changing it would be impossible without making is garbage or straight up removing it.

Survivor auras on active totems. This way, if the killer wishes to maximize their aura reading potential, they would have to run more Hex Perks.
Yeah let’s make it an F tier perk because ppl can’t do more than hold M1 on a gen lol
-
Sprint burst is strong but not OP, if you want to talk about a borderline broken exhaustion perk then Dead hard is the place to be. Sprint burst has punishment to it and takes skill and a lot of planning to 99 it properly
-
Ace walks on water and is the human embodiment of drip. Steve would simply evaporate by simply look ace in eyes. He’s a god amongst men and tournament nurses quake in their boots when they see a gold ace pull up in the lobby with his juicy teachables. Choose a hard one next time please
-
I’ve heard this one a few times and it’s by far the most god awful idea I’ve ever heard on this toxic forum. Yeah let’s punish killers for doing what they are supposed to do, kill. I play a lot of killer and I make a point of not tunnelling so that it’s more fun for everyone but I despise DS. In the last 2-3 months I haven’t once been hit by DS that is a result of actually tunneling. Every time it’s I down someone else, hook them, then down the DS person who has fully healed, then get hit by DS. How is that tunneling...? But yeah let’s make it basekit and eliminate a whole play style and catch up method just because it’s unfun for some ppl. Survivors just love to ######### and moan until the game is tailor made for them and it’s comical. DS should only be active for 30 seconds, it should pause in chase, and should instantly deactivate if you are healed or touch anything that isn’t a window or pallet. There genuinely is no valid argument against that version of DS that isn’t based around,”I want something blatantly OP in this game because I suck”
-
Should have just removed ebony mori and kept the green as it was. Green wasn’t a problem, ebony was stupid and blatantly unfair. Now they are pointless and just for a kill animation.

It’s small and the pallets are unsafe what more could a killer ask for
There’s literally 2 unsafe pallets lol.
-
Blight is a brick on console and makes me want to blow my brains out every time I use him. Can’t flick my camera more than 20 degrees when swinging in rush. Like so fun having less mobility that Billy’s chainsaw
-
DS in its current design is an absolute joke. I shouldn’t be able to hook someone, then leave, have that person get unhooked, I chase someone else and down them, hook them and then go back to that first person, fully healed, down them, and they still have DS. It happens to me at least once a game, it’s an absolute joke. It’s not anti tunnel at all, it’s invulnerability from getting hooked for a minute and ur either stupid or lying if you say otherwise. It shouldn’t be removed from the game but it should deactivate if you interact with a gen or get fully healed. Or it should only activate if the killer is standing within like 26 meters of the hook when you are unhooked. If you actually disagree with either or those suggestions then ur clearly fishing for a way to cheat sucking...
-
Yesterday I watched my ruin get destroyed 5 times in under 2 minutes and then my undying... like totem spawns are a joke and this combo is either awful or strong. Never is it OP, it’s not hard to find totems, you just don’t want to do it lol.
-
this has to be one of the worst ideas I’ve ever heard. What is even the point of this at all
-
@Sluzzy said:
Most survivors have not adjusted because there is no such thing as adjusting to an unfair advantage. Tinkerer and Undying sound more like hacks than actual perks. A cheat code you type in telling you when an objective is almost complete. It is ridiculous.
all perks are technically cheat codes by that logic lol. Dead hard gives you a dash and invincibility, DS makes it so you are borderline invincible for a minute. Every perk alters a base kit part of the game... how is seeing someone’s aura on a totem from a perk that’s only purpose is protecting another perk a “cheat code”. I guess we should also nerf/delete surveillance since you shouldn’t ever be able to see when ppl are on gens. How about we remove “of the abyss” from demo too since that can be used to see who’s on gens?
-
Since the release of undying, I’ve played against ruin+undying 3 times, at rank 1... and it’s not that hard to counter lol. Do something other than hold a button on a gen and it’ll work out
-
@Jejune said:
If you included weaker version of ruin as a basekit you would literally have to nerf majority of killer perks as well as top tier killers... There is a reason why there are 4 perk slots and you are giving a pseudo 5th perk slot to killers by doing it.
I’m not saying weaker version of ruin, I’m saying a better version of normal regression speed because it’s awful. Idk how that’s a 5th pseudo perk when it’s just a buff in speed to an already existing base mechanic. Ruin could be nerfed to 75% regression speed to compensate for this buff. But it shouldn’t take 80 seconds for a gen to be repaired by only 1 survivor but 320 seconds for that generator to be fully regressed from 99. That’s ridiculous
-
Just don’t make him/her being gay or whatever, their whole personality. That’s what makes characters suck in every book/movie/game ever created that does just that with an LGTB character. Do it like J.K Rowling did dumbeldore, it was part of his character and it made him even better because he was more dynamic but it wasn’t literally who he was completely.
-
It’s brutal on ps4, it happens quite often where it’s a huge spike or it gives the invulnerability but I don’t move or it gives me exhaustion but no invulnerability or dash. Really annoying that this wasn’t an issue when I stopped playing the game like 8 months ago, but since I’ve come back like 3 months ago, it’s a huge problem.
-
Trap RNG is an absolute joke and needs an update. I played 3 trappers the other day and got caught in 6 traps, escaped first try 4/6 times, other 2 were on second try. It needs to be 2 attempts you don’t escape and then randomly guarantee on 3 or 4. Hiding traps is tricky because there should be a way to play around them, it still has to be visible but the idea of better hiding of it would be good. It just shouldn’t be totally invisible. Also purple bag add on should be base kit. Makes 0 sense why it’s not
-
Cool down should really only be 60 seconds and it should only hit gens that have progress on them. It’s still only normal regression speed and skill checks can be hit to negate it.
-
@RamblinRango said:
You're saying gens at 0% sometimes get hit by Opression? Can someone clear this up, do untouched gens have a chance to get hit and therefore waste Opression?
Cause if so that's dumb with an 80 second cooldown and it definitely should only hit active gens
Perk description says “3 random generators” doesn’t say anything about them havingn any progression on them.

The devs do play their own game and some even stream it. They all seem to really care for DbD, and want the best for the game. Which is why I don’t think it’s the devs fault for chapters being released earlier than they should’ve.
How is it not their fault for releasing something earlier than it should have? They ######### released it... like what? No one else released it, they created it and knew it was garbage and broken and still released it. How is that wanting what’s best for the game. Yeah we care deeply but here’s a pile of #########, please buy auric cells.

This game has by far the most toxic community I’ve ever been apart of besides MW2 and B02. It’s every game of killer I play and the odd survivor game I play is just full of T-bagging, clicking, pointing. SWF is borderline unwinnable half the time at red ranks so I just don’t care. The second I get clicked at or T-bagged I genuinely don’t care if I win, I’ll just continue to slug and tunnel you over and over again until I kill you. I play in a way that’s fun for everyone and that I enjoy, but if you try to take that enjoyment away from me then idc if I depip, ur not escaping lol
-
I hardly play killer for the sole reason that every game is remarkably toxic and it’s just attempted bully after attempted bully. I was a red rank killer for a long time but since I hardly play killer anymore I’m like green ranks and this is precisely what happens. 2-3 red rank survivors every game and if I’m lucky a green rank survivor. It doesn’t matter to me either way cause red ranks are flooded with awful survivors and I’m at a skill level where it’s perfectly manageable. But it’s insanely unfair that actual green rank killers have to play against ppl 8-10 ranks higher then them constantly. You wanna know why queue times suck? Wanna know why more and more ppl quit killer? It’s because all this community does is bully and devs relentlessly nerf dumb stuff and ruin matchmaking over and over. I only play survivor now and it’s maddening that I have to wait 5 minutes to find a game because a large percentage of this community acts like ######### and goes out of their way to make another persons day worse, resulting in them quitting.
-
Spine chill is miles ahead of adrenaline. Spine chill is used all game every game and to great efficiency and awareness benefit. Adrenaline does basically nothing if you a) aren’t in a chase when the final gen is completed b)aren’t injured when the final gen is completed c) if you die before all gens are completed.
it’s the definition of situational and pointless 9 times out of 10 and it’ll be a cold day in hell before I use adrenaline lmao. I genuinely don’t even know why this is even a discussion
-
As a killer main I honestly don’t mind it that much. Sure it gets you sometimes but it’s pretty obvious when someone has it, it’s also easy to just wait and bait it out. It’s not that hard to counter, really should be focused on reworking DS to actually be an anti tunnel perk instead of borderline invincibility for 60 seconds imo
-
Bubba
bubba I get out of position and I don’t like just tossing down pallets and he gets me cause I once again get greedy lol. It also requires to just waste pallets while ur team does gens which is totally subjective to ur team not being braindead.
-
Pig, and Blight.
pig cause she’s awful and so boring to play.
blight cause I’m on console and he’s remarkably frustrating to use and was the definition of an impulse buy. I’d say clown too but I’ve actually been having a lot of fun with him recently so he gets a pass.
-
As a survivor it felt blatantly broken and made tons of loops into borderline infinite and much much longer. It was extremely noticeable

@tj0108 said:
and before you just comment “do bones” listen here.
bones are situational, if you see a totem then cleanse it but in a fast past game (especially in red ranks) you simply don’t have time to run around like a headless chicken confirming that all 5 totems have been cleansed.
Its not a perk that assists bad killers, it’s a perk that completely carries them and rewards them for being bad *cough cough just like bloodlust cough cough*
Recently, i had a game where i ran a legion for 5 gens and got downed to noed and facecamped. my teammates were running around looking for it and only found it AFTER i had died on first hook.
Its not like it assists killers who made a few mistakes, no. You could be the worse killer in existence, mess up at every opportunity, not look after gens not know how to loop and still get a 4k because of a stupidly designed perk.
The perk is old, badly designed, way to powerful, rewards killers for being bad, punishes survivors for being good and is overall a bad perk. Noed needs to be looked into, i’m sick of being punished for playing good. It’s actually sad that people in red ranks still run it.
I’m a killer main and ur definitely right about NOED being dumb. Doing bones is important and there should be a mechanic implemented that makes doing bones more essential in a way cause it’ll slow down gens a bit. But NOED as a perk needs a total rework, I personally don’t use it normally cause I feel like a dick and it’s unnecessary. Only time I do is when I see 4 flashlights and I toss it on with blood warden. NOED and DS go hand in hand with each other essentially. I play a ton of survivor too and understand each role, DS should deactivate when you touch a gen or are healed to full or do any action that isn’t vaulting a window or putting down a pallet. NOED shouldn’t be a free bail out for playing bad and keys shouldn’t be a bail out for playing bad and DS shouldn’t make you invincible basically for a full minute. Those 3 things plus maybe Moris are the worst things in this game in terms of perks/items/offerings. Only reason I say maybe to Moris, is because I like that each killer has a unique kill animation and stuff. The ebony one needs to go but I don’t see a reason for the yellow or green ones to be removed. Went off topic but yeah NOED needs a rework

Does anybody else think that Jump scare Myers is the funnest killer to play as? I have so much fun playing him. I crack up the entire time watching them run right to me and peekaboo slash lol
Most fun build in the game IMO. It’s scary good too, very map dependant though. My favourite is Lery’s. I love coming around a corner and clearly making a survivor piss themselves. It’s really funny

Is that necessary? Aren't they in alphabetical order? (Granted, I'm on console, so typing out a perk name with a controller would take longer than just searching for it.)
Would honestly be the most pointless addition to the game ever lol. Like there’s max 3-4 pages of perks and you can easily navigate to any perk in under 5 seconds on any platform.

Disagree.
The problem is not the controller's, but rather the FPS.
People have ZERO problem being amazing at CoD or Battlefield on Console. The issue is that they are simply given less time to react to new information.
When my game literally freezes when someone uses Dead Hard, even if I predict the Dead Hard, I cannot capitalize on what was a good read because the game is poorly optimized on Console.
I am sympathetic to the Devs plight, many things to do and not enough time to do them, but it is really discouraging and disheartening to see that Console's haven't really gotten that much love, even though it was promised years ago.
Frames are 100000000% the reason why console sucks for this game. I can’t dead hard as a survivor without getting my teeth pumped by lag, then I dash a quarter of a full dead hard. And half the time it gives me exhaustion but no invulnerability and I go down. As a killer I wish bloodlust wasn’t real cause whenever it activates I get a huge lag spike, survivors dead Harding causes a spike, gens getting finished, survivors using sprint burst. This wasn’t at all an issue 8-12 months ago, but now there are massive lag spikes constantly? Like I don’t understand why it’s now becoming a problem
-
@AskingForHelp said:
Please check the win/loss ratio of both sides and balance it accordingly . I find it hard to believe killers are underpowered when every single game I go into as a red/purple rank survivor accompanied by other red and purple rank survivors, the killers just stomp survivors every single game. Constantly I find that people die or get left on the hook still. Not to mention all of the bugs survivors have to deal with that mess up the loop.
Imagine asking for killer nerds across the board for the simple reason that u suck lol
-
Ah yes, another thread of some meatball whining about a killer perk being decent for once. Yeah let’s nerf this now that we’ve needed pop. Gotta make sure those gens can’t be slowed down to a somewhat manageable speed. Like it’s so shocking how dumb ppl are. You do realize by constantly whining about any kind of benefit killers have, all it does is cause a nerf and make ppl quit killer. So you get less games, longer queue times... like I don’t like waiting 5-10 minutes for a game just because ppl like you cry about a perfectly fine perk combo and also one of the only viable ones because ur too garbage to go and cleanse totems. I play both survivor and killer equally, we as survivors have a stupid amount of broken or very strong perks. killers don’t have any broken ones and maybe 5 strong ones. It’s dumb that every time a perk becomes strong, we have to whine about it because it’s not a free win every time now
-
Can’t wait to not have my face bashed in by a fat FPS spike every time I hit bloodlust or I use dead hard. Gonna be sick
-
- Hag- Constantly crouching around sucks and the jump scares from traps and the auto lock from her traps is annoying .
- Trapper: I hate walking and looking at the ground constantly, usually an easy W but I’m so paranoid the whole time lol
- Clown- Idk why his bottles feel useless when I use him but godlike when used against me. He’s an awful killer but remarkably annoying and effective against me for whatever reason. Could be that I suck
-
I main doctor at red ranks. The point isn’t to be a dick or annoying or anything. To me what makes him strong is his efficiency. I can cut down loops quickly, hook, and then walk like 15 meters forward away from the hook, static blast and find someone else to pressure. I don’t need to camp because I’ve now found another person to chase. It never crosses my mind to go back to the hook unless the survivor is dumb and leads me back there. He can begin to snowball very very fast and distressing with unrelenting and pop and overcharge slows the gens down extremely well. 3 gens are godly. It’s all about mastering his shock at loops and being as efficient as possible. He is one of the few killers in my eyes that can keep up with gen speeds because of all the different builds and strategies you can use to slow them down. That’s what survivors hate about him the most, is he slows the game down very well and can become very frustrating very fast. Which only feeds into the snowball more and more.
-
Anytime I hit bloodlust or a survivor uses an exhaustion perk, I get my teeth pumped by a fat FPS spike and I miss my swing or walk into a wall. This wasn’t an issue like 6-8 months ago. Really frustrating, same issue as survivor, I had to stop using dead hard because it wouldn’t work 90% of the time because it would lag so bad every time I used it to the point where I’d be exhausted and still get hit. No I’m not bad, it’s a console FPS spike issue and it happens constantly
-
Blights issues are gonna be obvious in a few weeks once ppl figure out how to beat him. He’s gonna be C tier. Stupidly easy to dodge his lethal rush and his camera height is a joke. He should have the freedom of swing like a normal attack while swinging in lethal rush. Otherwise you can take 2 steps to either side and he misses every time.
-
Killers really can’t have any good perks without survivors screaming about it. The game already favours you in almost every way possible just be quiet. People like you are the reason that queue times are so bloody long, because all you do is whine about anything that’s remotely viable for killers and then they don’t want to play killer anymore because it’s an absolute sweat fest every time just to get anywhere close to a win.
-
remove tier 1. Make tier 2 the same terror radius as it normally is with a 115 movement speed and a normal lunge. However give him no red stain in tier 2. Same amount of stalk to go from tier 2 to 3 and increase the range that you can stalk from. Otherwise he needs a rework as his power in general is so underwhelming.

If the Survivor jukes you, it's often directly to your left or right, yes?
By doing what I like to call a "Point-Turn", Blight goes from a measly 45° angle to a 90° angle as soon as he winds up for the swing.
Survivor goes right, you wait and bait out their turn, and you Point-Turn after them, smacking them anyway.
I have no idea if this is intended, but I hope it is. It's a ridiculous tech.
I’d love to be able to do that but console has super fun restrictions
-
very Good map pressure, issue is the FPS and his turning while lethal rush swinging isn’t good, the FPS spikes become an issue when you slam sometimes and jerks your camera around a bit. They need to fix his camera and he will be better. Otherwise you’ll be turning down sensitivity for minimal camera swing or turning it up so you can turn better while swinging. I also used shards and I’m taking a few days to get the muscle memory down
-
Pig is absolutely awful basically an M1 killer. The dash is pointless because it takes so long to crouch. The traps don't do anything but mildly slow the game down, the fact that you have to wait for a generator to pop just so the timer will start is a joke and gives survivors way too much time to search boxes. Like there's literally no power with her.

I always felt giving bubba the ability to chainsaw pallets without losing the sprint would be a small but nice buff that would also make him a bit more unique whilst kind of fitting in with his general ability, why cut 3 survivors but let 1 pallet stop you right?
Obviously this doesn't mean he can't get stunned, it just means that lopping pallets will be a bit harder and more dangerous once they're down, giving bubba a small buff in deadliness.
Pretty good suggestion tbh, could Bring in lots of new mind games for stuns. And also adds some skill to stopping his chainsaw in that situation.
