The intensity of being chased. I love the rush of trying to loop and escape the killer. Love avoiding hits by the skin of my teeth.
-
Not gonna drop my main killer that I've been using even before the rework just because you personally find him "boring" to go up against. The game ain't tailored for you specifically. Other people play the game, and they're gonna play who they want because they wanna have fun, even at the expense of your fun. Don't like it? Maybe don't be playing games that have competitive, winner/loser aspects. Like Candy Crush, Bejeweled, or whatever the hell. Sorry if I seem salty, but people with mindsets like yours piss me off. Like, the world doesn't revolve around ya, my dude.

There's a fella on YouTube named Jon Rob who composes chase music for killers. Check his stuff out. It's great. His theme for Michael is by far the best.

1. Nobody cares. That's not to be mean, it's just true. People see a post like this and roll their eyes because it's just pointless. Even though your reasons for leaving may be valid (and they are,) announcing it to the world does literally nothing.
2. All of your criticisms ain't new. Not by a long shot. Everything ya just said are platitudes and offers nothing new to the conversation. This makes your post even more pointless because ya can't even make the argument that you're pointing out problems to be fixed, because these are all problems we're all (including the devs) well aware of. Now, will the devs fix these problems? I dunno. But let's say they won't. If they have no intention of fixing them at all in the first place, then reiterating the same old crap is (again) pointless because it will only fall on deaf ears.

I'm sorry ya got hate mail for that, but I don't really understand the point of this post. Literally nobody except those guys gave ya hate, what's the point of spreading the negativity to people who did nothing to you? You're being no better than them.
-
Why DO people act toxic anyway? Was playing Survivor, lost to a GhostFace. It was a fair game. I was outplayed and I accepted that. Can't win 'em all. So I sent him a "GG, well played." I expected either nothing in response, or just a "GG." Instead I got an "ez scrub." It didn't anger me, but just made me roll my eyes and left me wondering...Why? What's the point of that? Ya don't know me, I go outta my way to avoid playing in a toxic manner, I complimented your skill. Why are ya trying to piss off a complete stranger who was only being friendly? What's the point in that? Why do people feel the need to be rude like that?

When brainstorming changes for Ruin, what other ways to change it were tossed around before going with the increased progress reduction?

I talk to myself IRL whenever I get nervous or when my anxiety acts up, so couple that with the fact that I solo queue as Survivor, and ya have me pretty much narrating my own thoughts to nobody except my cat. Same thing when I play Killer, just not as much so I can concentrate. I'll say stuff like "gotcha!" when I hit a Survivor, or stuff specific to each killer ("Oink, oink, motherf***er" as Pig when dashing, or "I see you...ZAP" as Doc when shocking.)

I got no objective on this, only see who is gaving up too
The title of your post begs to differ.

If ya wanna go, that's on you. You're your own man/woman/whatever the hell, your choice is your own to make. But tell me, where's the point in trying to get people to quit playing the game? If people don't like it, they'll leave of their own accord. Trying to get folks to leave (especially without giving a specific reason, when there are many fair reasons at your disposal) is redundant, if not outright pointless.

1. WowSuchGaming made a video discussing Jack Torrance as a killer, and I don't really think it would work. Jack just ain't imposing enough to be a killer. Nothing really unique about him, he doesn't have a "thing." Just a crazy dude with an axe. When compared to the other killers with interesting designs, lore and abilities, Jack would end up looking like "an unwashed sock in a fruit basket." (Yahtzee Croshaw)
2. Any killer based on pretending to be survivors, like perhaps The Thing or The Tethered from Us. Just wouldn't work as a concept. SWF makes it impossible.
-
Survivor: Not being able to hit great skill checks consistently, not being able to juke all that well
Killer: Bad at tracking during a chase, whiffing a lot of my hits.
-
Absolutely. With the amount of stealth killers I encounter, it helps quite a bit (Especially killers like Ghostface and Mikey, where there whole power predicates on maintaining line of sight.)Used to run Empathy to gain info on where a killer was, then I tried Spine Chill after watching Otzdarva and PainReliever discuss it. I used Empathy to find out if the killer was around me, and judged whether I was safe to repair/heal based on that info. But since Spine Chill does that AND gives me that small action boost, I've started using it instead. It's also great for losing the killer mid chase. Very underrated.

It didn’t bother me nor waste my time replying.
Guess we just view these types of interactions differently
-
Why the hell do ya even bother with these types of folks? There's no point. They ain't gonna listen or change their minds, so why waste your time explaining things to them? Just let them be wrong, shoot them a GG and move on. It's easier, less time consuming, and it pisses them off more.

I think one of the biggest issues with balancing gen speed is that folks are looking too much through the lens of their respective teams when discussing how to balance things properly (whether intentionally or not.) The disconnect between Killer and Survivor experiences are giving folks different views of how the game is, and which side is truly the more powerful one. When you're sitting in the same spot, holding down a button and occasionally looking over your shoulder, it feels like you've been there for a while. But when you're running around, chasing and hitting people, it doesn't feel as long. That time distortion is where, I believe, most problems arise from. That being said tho, I also think things like comms are what give Survivors that edge that tips the game into their favor (I say this as a Survivor main that solo queues.) Killers would have an easier time if they were able to scramble Survivors. Confuse and disorient them. But comms outright nullify a Killer's ability to do that. That organization is what will steamroll Killers. There's a reason why folks often dodge lobbies that they believe contain a SWF group.

Yeah, I've heard of it, but I don't think anyone actually takes it seriously. The impression I get nowadays is that Dwights are just generally clueless sweethearts.
Funny. I view Dwight as just an anxious, jumpy scaredy cat (like me.) Guess I can kinda see how easy it is for people to gather their own impressions on a character merely through appearance and voice alone (let alone the players of said characters and their playstyles) and make assumptions based on that. Still sick of the toxic Claudette meme tho (and the sheer amount of them you encounter. Gets boring seeing the same characters everytime.) Currently in the process of leveling up Dwight to main, so I'm glad he's at least SOMEWHAT well regarded by the community.

It's Survivor Stereotypes. That's what it mainly boils down to, as ArslaN said above, many Claudettes are referred to as "blendettes," which usually means they're commonly using Urban Evasion and crouching around to avoid the Killer or any confrontation for that matter.
That's only some Claudette mains though, some also like to be overly toxic and constantly "BM" the Killer at every chance they can get. Sometimes in-game, sometimes in post-chat where they can actually interact with the Killer themselves.
Overall, this is why most Claudettes are seen as "Blendettes" or "toxic," you can thank the players that commonly do this... they give her a bad name and have every claudette main associated with that ideal.
Of course there are other Claudette mains that are selfless and actively save other Survivors with their stealth... and on top of that also do gens while wasting the Killers time with said stealth by hiding away when the Killer is surveying that area to look for them.
Not every Claudette is toxic, immersed, or useless... but because of the common use of her by players that do these actions... it all blends together... no pun intended.
What i'm basically saying is...
Because of the actions of other players... many Claudettes are seen as toxic, immersed, and useless to their team. This is why many Killers hate every Claudette they see, and sometimes they actively target them in-game to remove them from the match.
It isn't anything personally with you, it's just the many years of facing so many of those players has left her with a bad rep.

It's not a Hag exclusive thing, unfortunately. While playing Killer, you're gonna get a decent amount of disconnects, no matter who ya use. Granted, some killers get DC'd on more than others, but I've yet to find one killer who hasn't seen at least one DC in their games. It's most likely toxic sweatlords who can't stand the idea of taking it slow and crouching, so in order to save their ego after getting their cheeks clapped, they DC. Don't take it personal. If anything, embrace it.
1. You played fairly (which ya said ya do)
2. You abided by all the unsaid rules that survivors impose on killers (no tunneling, camping, etc. Again, ya said ya avoid these things)
3. Not only could they not beat you, but the fact that they couldn't peeved them off so much that they ran back to the campfire with their tails between their legs (Bonus points if they send ya a salty message afterwards.)
I see that as a win, even if the emblems and points don't reflect it.

That just sounds boring as all hell. Dunno if I could even blend in all that well, I use her emerald green shirt.

Don't really see why it would be.

The Pig is wearing a mask in her default outfit. I’m not sure if her newer outfits use real pigs though.
True, but I can't imagine her having a rotting pig head over her head is gonna do any favors for her halitosis

If I were to hazard a guess, I'd say that Stamper was another "doctor" who worked at Lery's Memorial and was given Herman to train. Maybe he worked on other MKULTRA projects before that and woulda had the experience in interrogation/info extraction, which would explain why they sent Herman to serve under his wing. He most likely held a medical license at one point and it was revoked before he was recruited. Herman himself wouldn't necessarily need one tho. It's not like the US Government was concerned with doing things legally. As long as he knew how to get the info out of the "patients," I doubt they'd have cared about him having one. I hope that the Doctor's lore gets expanded on more in the Archives.

Amanda. She was pretty in the SAW movies.
-
Pig maybe. Remember, rotten pig head. Leatherface is also a good candidate with those busted ass teeth. Or perhaps even Myers. Think a guy like him would even care enough to brush his teeth?
-
From the perspective of a Survivor main: Disconnectors are ultimate pussies who very poorly hide behind bullshit excuses ("so and so killer/perk/add-on is broken and needs to be nerfed") to hide the fact that they don't wanna lose. ALL killers have been declared to be broken. They can't ALL be! Unless the killer is doing cheap bullshit like camping, hardcore tunneling, or hacking (or even if the game is lagging like crazy,) there ain't a good reason to DC. If the killer is being a dick, then yeah, I totally understand DC'ing. But unless rules are being broken or the game itself is literally unplayable, buck up, shut up, and at least TRY to play. If ya lose, take the L like a man and move on. If ya aren't willing to lose the game/high level items and add ons every now and then, why the ######### are ya playing a game as chaotic and competitive as DBD? Why is it okay for Survivors to use ######### like MoM, DS, Adren, DH, and insta-heals, but Killers can't use Nurse or Iridescent Head Huntress? The Nurse is meant to be broken. Her brokenness is a reward for the amount of time and effort it takes to get good at her. Don't like it? DON'T PLAY THE GAME.
-
I'd be so down for Ghost Face to be in DBD. He'd have to have a phone related ability tho. It'd be like Freddy without the creepy humming, or Leatherface without the Tuskan Raider yelling: Just wouldn't be Ghost Face without it.
