  • Personally I think Ruin should be a perk and not a hex. Slightly increase the amount regressed by missing a great skill check and and remove the time penalty.

Killers will no longer be annoyed that their ruin is gone. Survivors will no longer be annoyed that their teammates waste time looking for ruin. Too many games have been lost because people just refuse to do gens with ruin.

And that three second wait while the gen is sparking is just frustrating all together. Get rid of it but slightly increase regression rate to compensate. Bumping it by 1-2% should be fine.

You forgot to mention the 'in a single trial' part.

The three chest one was pretty easy - you got the advantage of Plunderer's and toss in a purple coin for more chests. Only problem would in being unlucky with one or more other survivors trying to do the same challenge, but that seems it will be a common problem with most challenges here on out now.

I had work so while everyone else is doing other challenges I was doing the ones everyone's already done, so I've had a pretty easy time. I have noticed a increase of hook farming and borrowed time though.

Remember we have about 2 weeks to get section 1 done and people have already rushed through it all. Just take a day or so off and everyone will be done with them for easy completion.

Maybe it would help if the 5th slot was more only the general perks that could go there. I.E. for Killers it would be, (Whispers, Bitter Mumur, Sloppy Butcher, etc...) and Survivors (Kindred, We'll Make It, Dark Sense, etc....) honesty as a solo survivor having kindred as a baseline would be so helpful. I'd probably always run it if I had a 5th slot open.

I like this. I've also thought this as well but I'd include the survivors/killers unique perks as well to that list.

I'd probably main Jane for the dedicated head-on slot.

  • That even after years of playing, it can still be super tense and downright scarry at times. I wish the game could be scarier as a whole.

  • Nurse.

She was completely broken in the PTB. She would turn invisible sometimes, had weird laggy movements other times and even if the right addons were used, couldn't hook anyone, or just crash the game. Also sound was somehow off again..... Every patch breaks audio some way, I really don't understand how.

  • I would love an option to have a 1st person view and limited/ no hud. Maybe make it dynamic when when something changes it'll appear for a few seconds before leaving.

I just think the game has gotten nowhere near as scary as it was when I first picked it up. It would add a lot more fun, scares and tension to the mix. As long as it's optional it should be fine and maybe throw in some bonus bloodpoints for playing at a disadvantage

  • What if instead of ruin being base kit, Gen progression is slowed based on how many dull totems remain in the trial something like 5-10% slower progression per totem. Also, just add a totem counter on the hud already.

  • I t-bag the killers through walls on hooks if I suspect they are running bbq. If they weren't running that perk, they wouldn't be able to see it and it's a waste of my time. But a lot of times, they are and the killer comes straight my direction and by then I have plenty of time to hide and it waste so much of their time.

The only other time is greeting survivors or when I know I'm dead and dont feel like a chase I'll stand still and t-bag.

Old Borrowed Time was also very strong and probably deserves a spot on this poll.

Combine this with a 4 man swf group all running this and DS, there would be no way the killer would win if they rotated hook saves.

  • Old Borrowed Time with old Decisive Strike. I play more survivor and Even I think that was horrible.

It only activated once, but it protected both the hooked and the rescuer. So that's one extra hit. And then if you tried to pick them up you would get decisived, having to hit each person 3 times before they went down after a save. and there Could be 4 of these a match so as long as the team coordinated who did the saving you could deal with this 4 times a match.

I still don't understand The Mettle of Man hate and stand by "it wasn't that busted"

  • They are not great. As a killer, unless the flashlight is frame perfect if you spam the "drop" key it is impossible to to get a flashlight save. They still have a chance to wiggle now, but Hooks are pretty good these days.

They're just nowhere near the power item they used to be.

Alright. Well, first of all Vile purge (unless she chases you down and pukes on you constantly) takes more than 5 seconds to get you to "Broken". You can then cleanse to get full health back. I'd suggest only doing that on the other end of the map or with a coordinated team.

If you chose to NOT cleanse you can easily loop her, and her "Red Puke" (Corrupt Purge) can be removed with a pallet stun. She can only get her Corrupt Purge if you cleanse or she brings a certain Add-ons. (Both Apple add-ons make one pool start corrupted but she still has to go get it. Iridescent Seal gives it to her for a very short time when Gens are completed)

Black Incense is the add-on that makes your aura show up when you puke, 5 seconds, and is an ultra rare. If you suspect Plague (Adiris) has this, you should Prolly cleanse.

Next, I can tell you havn't tried to USE her power, as the puke is oddly hard to aim. It is... for lack of a better term, Chunky. It doesn't follow an exact arch and it very different than the other projectiles in the game. If you don't cleanse, and she doesn't have those add-ons (which she prolly won't) you will NEVER have to worry about Corrupt Purge.

She is easily loopable, and without certain add-ons or you cleansing, she is just an M1 Killer that can puke on you.

For more info, I will give you both this

    and this:

    Thank you for your time.

Alls what it takes is one person cleansing to completely screw up the team. As a solo player most of the time this is completely frustrating for me. And because most people decide not to cleanse at first, anyone who hasn't or just hasn't had time can now get one shot by a projectile because of crummy teammates.

The end is near... WE'RE ALL GONNA GET NERFED.

Who would have guessed wanting to let her power charge faster while also letting her go into a corrupt purge mid chase without taking a stop at a fountain and not letting her power be held hostage by survivors not cleansing is a nerf?

  • @joker7997 said:

Never thought I'd see someone complain about the plague. Let's nerf her and that breast of a killer leatherface too.

Never said nerf. She's nowhere near op. Legion wasn't either unless they were exploiting. She's just unfun. Spirit matches excluding those using prayer beads are better imo and Spirit is a much stronger killer.

Yes, you can. For most battle passes it will probably take you several hours a day to achieve this though. A much more significant investment than most players will make. It is like a buffet. They are betting most will not eat more than they pay.

Then just don't buy it until you're sure. Play the game, complete the free track, throw the auric cells in, you'll get them all back and all rewards from the premium track.

Sure some people will order the buffet and not eat their share but if you make your plate first while nibbling off the bar the whole time, you can look at your plate, decide you didnt get enough food for it to be worth the price and set it down and walk away without paying and you save your money while still getting a few bites.

  • A random cosmetic option that changes every lobby could be nice. I feel like I have so many of them and dont even use half of them.

People are still disconnecting against the Legion? The Devs fixed all the things that made them frustrating to play against, unless I'm forgetting something. I think I read somewhere on the forums that DCs will be punished more harshly (something like that) when dedicated servers arrive. I love the endgame collapse, earlier today I went up against an SWF that wasted time t-bagging and self-caring, one was hooked, the other saved, they didn't have time to get to the doors.

My problem with legion was never the exploits or counterplay. My problem with Legion is that they turn the game into "Mending Simulator". And the update amplified it.

Even with their power nerfed, legions still are able to get that first hit on you for free. Don't tell me "Dodge, make them miss, or 360" That is not an excuse. Good killers can not be 360'd especially if they know it's coming. They will hit you.

So now you're injured and need to mend. You mend, which is a completely unfun mechanic on its own...and you're still hurt... makes sense but because legion gets the first hit free it means healing is a risk of wasting time because they can come along and smack you again with a free hit. That's fine.... just don't heal.... that's where the problem is. Their movement speed buff makes it a danger not to heal.

so you get trapped in a loop Hit --> mend --> heal --> repeat

which is just standing in one spot holding m1 for potentially well over a minute if not longer if they are running the very common sloppy butcher perk. It's not fun. it's not interactive it's frustrating and boring. If I was SWF i could easily find a teamate to heal but I don't play SWF often and I don't like to because honestly it is unbalanced.

Legion makes Solo Hell and I don't actually blame those who still DC. If you're not having fun playing a game meant for fun, quit and do something else. It's just that simple. I just wish it wouldn't punish the rest of the players in the match as bad.

  • The only thing I can think of when it comes to crafting, is recycling old items to get better ones. Probably something at the rate of 4 to ..... which god I hope they don't because if that's the case I could probably craft about 10 purple flashlights on my main which would just be a nightmare to killers.
