There is just too much going on with that Killer Power.
Wayyyyyy too complicated.
Organic Collection
sounds kinda meh. Also it could promote Tunneling which should not be rewarded.
Fear eater
This could Promote Slugging which is also something we shouldn't buff
Hex: Crusher
And now we have something to make 3 Gens stronger which also should really not be buffed. We just came from the 3 Gen Meta.
Interference
Sounds honestly too strong of an effect especially since you can charge it up while being inside a Chase. There are some breakable Walls you need to break as a Killer in Order to play the Game. Just a few uses of this Perk and the right Team of friends and i would absolutely start hating this Perk.
Translocation
I don't think you should have the Ability to just straight up teleport someone to you. Most importantly not against their will. Also having Perks like these would make it harder to tell apart from cheaters.
Creator's Connection
This one is just too strong. I know there is a bazillion Restrictions but still.
Overall i like that you're creative and trying something yourself. But you seem to make things way to complicated. Keep it simple.
Also, just because something is heavily restricted doesn't mean it should be too strong.
Still. Keep doing this. Post like these are the reason i even come to the Forums :D
Hello ! I agree with everything you said and if I make an edit to this idea I will definitely be reworking a lot of these perks and perhaps the power some, too. Thank you !

I'm sure those of us who like to play many killers would appreciate leaving the pick to chance.
I assume it would also improve matchmaking precision and queue times, especially out of peak-time. I can't think of a downside of such an option - but I hope those who can will point it out.
What do you think of such a feature?
BHVR doesn't need to add this. Just use a spinner wheel or go to https://www.dbdperkroulette.com/killer-character

I swear he's all I face. His chase music gives me a headache. Every one of them hc facecamps and/or tunnels. Has bad ping. Is just generally annoying to play against.
Worst of all, DBD Wesker has ruined the REAL Wesker for me.
Please killswitch him again. That was the best time I've had in DBD since Wesker came out.
I'll even take Skull Merchant.
I'm desperate.
This is really weird because I never face Weskers for some reason. Sucks for you, but I guess you are just unlucky.

About 400-500 between all my characters.

The stats are there to prove it. I don't want to see any survivors denying it's a legitimate strategy or toxic now.
I hate how people always say this. Tunneling sucks and is really annoying, but it is not at all an effective strategy. If the killer is tunneling and face camping, just let the man die and do gens and you will escape with only 1 person dead most of the time. It's terrible for the survivor getting tunneled, but killers only do it half the time because their teammates are too altruistic. These bots are a great addition because it means that if you are getting tunneled, you can just leave without throwing the game for your teammates.

This would be funny as hell if it was added.

Here's an on-the-spot build !
Killer: Pig
Add-Ons: Jigsaw's Sketch, Video Tape
Perks: Surveillance, Spies from the Shadows, Jolt, Merciless Storm
Have fun with this aura-reading + generator defense build on my favorite killer !

Too much to do on killer and you don't get a break. On survivor you can just relax and do gen and it's not big deal if you die or escape.
I'm able to think about a lot at once and very fast (and like to), so I like that aspect of killer, and that aspect of survivor bores me so much.
-
I still think killer is way more fun than survivors. Killers are way more unique than survivors, there is more to do, and you don't have to depend on terrible randoms.

Finally !

I'm sorry but explain why it is that one good match means constant borage of nothing but high skill survivors also saying "survivor level doesn't matter" it kinda does the number of times I've entered lobbies and was having to go against a level 100 survivor I'm sorry but no survivor level does matter because it means their extremely skilled so no matter what I will lobby dodge because that survivor level means that oh your going to have a not fun time. I'll even know when I lost if I have four hooks and two gens are left yeah no then I already lost. Out of every possible version of matchmaking the game had here's how I rank them best to worst.
1. Skill based matchmaking(PTB)
2. Rank matchmaking
3. Skill based matchmaking(Live)
I just want to know what happened to Skill based matchmaking because the PTB version was good I faced people my skill level and had fun now all it is, is just countless times as killer high skilled survivors no matter the time of day, how many breaks or even bad marches I have. For survivor it's a mix bag but still at least a good bag I have bad teams but I can get good teams or I get good killers(skill level) or I get killers that just want to slug and camp. Playing killer now is just a massive chore of not trying to get frustrated over how the game thinks "oh yeah he can definitely face a P100, a P78 and two P14". While playing survivor is like a mine field of mainly what type of match am I going to have.
Hello ! I feel like this is a problem I have heard a lot from many people. First of all, don't base your fun off getting kills. You could get 0 kills and still have an amazing match. Also, try learning tips and tricks about how to play killer or even your favorite killer specifically. I watched a few Otzdarva matches and messed around with some of the things that he does and I instantly went from getting destroyed in bronze lobbies to completely rolling through everyone; now, with years of experience as killer, I have gotten pretty good. This type of game takes practice and the game's mindset is something you have to train into yourself. Granted, I don't know how long you have been playing, but I feel like you could probably just use some practice and some teaching.

Greatest post on these forums. The cute stuff is needed after some of the DBD games I get.
-
I agree that the prove thyself nerf was really weird. It's usually a very situational perk that tends to benefit the killer more than the survivors. I think the bloodpoint nerf was fair though, although it is really funny.
-
The team most likely does try to balance things, but a lot of people give conflicting opinions, and the team pretty much has to choose who they are going to upset and who they are going to make happy. Also, it's common business practice for games to make DLC characters strong on release to get more sales early after release and to get more people talking about the game. Most perks will get nerfed eventually if they are strong, and I think this is an okay thing. Imagine if they released a new survivor that came out with 3 of the worst perks ever and nobody used them ; the game would be completely unchanged because nobody would be using these perks or the survivor, right ?
-
As a killer main, I like interacting with weird killer powers and facing survivors who know the power and can have a close game with me. I always root for survivors when they actually know a gimmicky killer I'm playing or chase me really well. I always give hatch/exit gate to the best player.
-
Note: I said in the comments that a second shred would only apply deep wound if the first one already hit.
-
- Do an attack from right behind the survivor at an unpredictable time instead of lunging.
- Attack survivors that are stuck in animations
- If you are playing wraith, you can start the animation for hitting your bell but then cancel it because it looks a lot like your hit animation.
- If you are playing nurse, teleport in front of them when they dead hard.
- Bring mindbreaker.
- If you are playing huntress, plague, or trickster, you can act like you are going to use your ability to bait it out and then just use it after the dead hard is over.
-
There is so many other obsession perks than just DS. Also, some killer perks even create an obsession.
Bring a perk like for the people or literally any of laurie's perks.

I'd be against anything too elaborate (I think the zip line idea borders on that) but I'd love some more unique mechanics on maps. Like how completing gens on The Game opens up doors, or the one in the Temple of Purgation, Dead Dawg Saloon has the gallows for a quick escape, or the secret 'staircase' and the clocktower on Midwich.
There's a secret room on Hawkins that only spawns if the basement is under the stairs (instead of by the portal control room) which you can blink into as the Nurse. It would be neat if the door to that room opened under some specific condition. It was set up as a clue to the golden toolbox, which is another easter egg you might not be aware of.
Maybe a new map that changes considerably during EGC, blocking off certain routes and opening up others.
I think if they added stuff like this it would be cool.

The point of her traps really isn't ever to kill. It's to stall.
Exactly though. Not seeing the boxes stalls them, because then it takes longer to search for them, and occasionally, it will get you an easy kill.
Combat straps should probably become base kit.
I think that her crouch time should be reduced, but Combat straps should still be an add-on.

- I agree with this
- The problem with this is it still has the same issue as current Rules Set No.2, but it's definitely the best change other than totally reworking it
- I love the idea of making her less RNG dependent, this is also a great change.
- I'd like to introduce you to Combat Straps and Last Will.
- This is something I suggested when I made a similar post, and I definitely think that these addons need to be changed as well.
I know about combat straps and last will, the thing is, i want more add-ons that do the same thing, but of a higher reality so they can do it better. Combat straps is only a 0.3 second change, and last will only gives you 1 more trap, but thats the only trap-giving add-on. Combining last-will and this new add-on that does a combination of combat straps and last will's job, you can get even more traps, which would be useful for players who want to go for a build that really delays the game.

I'm not saying ghost face is OP or something. However, I often find myself staring at his face and not "revealing" him. What is going on? Just watch this video to see how bad it can get.
It's a little bit weird. You have to be looking at a large part of his body for it to work. From my experience, looking at his face or a part of him sticking out from behind a wall doesn't work.

considering he is a not very good killer
He's actually quite good. Still I'd love QoL changes such as the first one you suggested.
He is kind of average. He could still definitely use a buff.

@PatWesker said:
I think these are good ideas! And giving him a second shred is not that much since chainsaw killers can easily down a urv too quickly.
Or at least, if a surv is hit twice by a shred succession, the second could apply deepwound.
But yes I agree with those changes, demo is supposed to be a bestial killer, so why not a second shred?
I don't really play him often because he has not much game potential.
I would add that there shouldn't be a cooldown to travel in portals... Just think about it, why would he need a cooldown realistically speaking
I think the cooldown is meant so that he can't constantly camp gens and exits, which would make him overpowered late game.
-
It is gamer.

@TheArbiter said:
I feel like giving him a second free shred is a bit much.
I don't think so. It would mean that he would be just hitting 2 survivors instead of 1. However, I think it would be fair if he couldn't chain a shred on the same person twice. That would be annoying.
-
He moves at 100% speed when revving a chainsaw last time I checked. I believe his missing and hitting speed are the same as other killers hitting and missing, which is 86.25%.
-
You have to pounce at just the right angle and at a slight distance from the pallet. Go into a custom game with the cat figurine and try it out. It isn't hard once you get use to it.
-
The Gargoyle power is very interesting, and it seems quite balanced. I think this is a great idea and I'm surprised no killer has ever had any power like this.
-
Looks good! You have good art skills!
-
What does the "Survivor Area" mean? If you mean within a certain radius of survivors, give specific numbers. This goes for the rest of the killer power. The ability of fighting a survivor with skill checks would be extremely underpowered, especially in higher ranks, because everybody will get perfect skill checks and easily win the game. His ability should be more of a thing where both sides have to keep pressing space and whoever presses it faster wins maybe? Sadly, the killer idea isn't that good.

It's mostly because I'm not sure how that'd even work. Haunted Ground is already active for 60 seconds after being cleansed. So I'm not sure it'd have any effect.
Like right now, if Ruin is cleansed all gens start regressing.
With Organikoskinesis, if Ruin is cleansed, Gens would still regress for another 60 seconds.
With Devour Hope, if you have 3 stacks, Survivors would remain exposed for another 60 seconds after being cleansed. (Moriable with 5 stacks)
But with Haunted Ground the exposed status effect occurs after cleansing and in tier 3 lasts 60 seconds already. (After which point, Organikoskinesis wouldn't do anything).
Haunted Grounds could just be extended to like 70 or 80 seconds with Organikoskinesis.
-
Very good idea! However, I think it is a little bit weird that Haunted Grounds needs to be tier 1 or 2 for organikoskinesis to extend it. I think it should extend all tiers of haunted grounds.
-
Humming bird sounds a little bit useless, considering spies from the shadows is better in basically every way. Infectious deaf sounds like it might be a little too strong. The overall power sounds pretty good, and it would most likely be a very strong but balanced power. I like your idea! Not many killers focus on sound, which makes this killer very interesting.
