It's bugged. You can escape and it will count it as you were sacrificed or vice-versa.
-
It is harder to keep track of, hopefully will be tweaked when they change it again.
-
If my mains don't have anything I have no reason to buy. Ideally each survivor and killer should get an outfit but that might be too much work? Idk. So many charms, like who cares about them really?
-
Well BBQ Ruin Undying Tinkerer would carry a lot of killers. He probably won't do as well against a good team now with the nerf to undying.
-
Yeah I'm sure the devs will read this and do what you suggested, great post.
-
Did you get 360 quickscoped?
-
How is a bunny outfit taunting? Did your pet rabbit bite you or something?

No successful game in our times has made an update this big and with such a bad impact and reaction, and survived. The games that won’t die are the ones who keep their core.
Well I've recommended this game to a few people before and they said it looked clunky. I can't blame them because the old movement does, and spinning around in a circle on the ground is hardly a good look whether it's the game's soul or not it looks cheap. So if they're trying to improve it I'm all for it.

Those “2-3 year old outdated animations” were a big part of this game’s soul. DbD never has been a game about graphics or newer animations and such, it has always been about gameplay. Movement is 99% of a survivors gameplay and they reworked it, making it actually an entirely different game.
No one is overreacting, they changed the bones of a game we loved for the past 4-5 years.
I don’t see how anyone with more than 100 hours in the game could disagree with me, but I’ll respect every opinion. Most importantly I don’t understand how anyone could not see that the new animations are simply BAD, they look like much older than the old ones.
So you want the outdated animations forever because it's the "game's soul" haha this game would never get better that way and would die out because it looks so outdated.

Searching for gens because of the HUD? Yeah okay dude hahahaha
-
I like them, they're not perfect yet but a step in the right direction. If they're affecting hits that's a different issue.
-
They said in the recent livestream that they like the idea of people being able to put things where they want but it's hard to implement. So it's on the wishlist or something along those lines.
-
I haven't had any problems with it survivor side, knowing everyone's hook counters is pretty helpful. I definitely aren't frantically looking around anyway and can play as normal. I do agree the hook timer is harder to keep track of though.
-
I got used to all the animations after a few games. The idle standing animation is the only weird one that stands out to me.
-
They won't revert. However they'll hopefully improve it.
-
Hopefully they get improved more.
-
I've seen like 5 threads saying similar things, kinda worrying. All the complaints about UI and animations too...this could be a rough mid chapter.
-
They kept in the standing animation? Oh god.
-
BBQ is the perk I can see most new players being puzzled by and frustrated with. Well just any that ruins stealth play really.
-
I play on series x and get no frame drops?
-
I don't even see how he sucks? The slowdown he has with his normal bottles is strong?

you can tell by the skins
the more colorfull, the more troll the survivor are
Orrrr maybe people just like colorful skins?
-
Killers shaking in their boots at my brown toolbox.
-
DBD doesn't look anywhere near as good side by side.
-
Personally think it looks like she's on drugs currently, but some of you guys seem to like that haha.
-
Should give DS multiple uses now though with such a huge nerf. Just my opinion.
-
You honestly think that's a good idea? Hahaha some of the stuff I read on here...
-
Is this intended or bugged?
-
Demos portals aren't visible until he uses it.

You're cringe.

Set key down until hatch spawns.
Ah yeah, I'm a derp.
-
Use Franklin's Demise?
-
Well the perk for tracking with them is actually pretty good. I think they're fine as they are.
-
The difference between a fast and medium vault.
-
Higher fps, it's a lot better.
-
Fav: Nurse, Spirit, Ghostface.
Least: Oni, Legion, Blight.
-
Just had two games in a row where a duo attempted escape straight away and then didn't struggle. Didn't even get a chance to save them...like just go play a game where if you rage quit it doesn't affect anyone else.

Yea, spirit, deathslinger, and pyramid head all have the same boring playstyle of a guessing game. If you put a lot of time into the game you will come to realize all that work and skill you learned doesn't help you if you play against "good" ones. I am a killer main and I think playing as and playing against these killers are very boring. Your knowledge of map layout, windows, pallets won't help you against these killers and it sucks.
As opposed to the boring playstyle of looping until you drop a pallet and run away to the next loop spot and repeat over and over.
-
I wish she looked like that.
-
Sounds like a personal issue, I play on console and it's fine.
-
Can't really hide from him, loop or die.
-
They have shared the stats before.
-
I like the current one too :(

Yep, as far as I know it's whoever pushes the button first.
Not sure if I like that. The survivor I closed it on must of felt so scammed.

its a great perk for anti tunneling. but its the worst feeling when youre the killer
Stop gravedigging.

Yeah I think it was the current ruin undying what made it so hard paired with tinkerer, not tinkerer itself. Thanks for all the advice.

Freddy with the "wow, at least there isn't NOED thrown in there" build (Undying/Ruin/Tinkerer/[BBQ or some other perk, but usually BBQ]) is absurdly powerful. He can consistently get to whatever gen he wants very quickly and chase you off for some powerful gen regression. With other killers, you have a chance to get that gen done if they're across the map, even if they're a high mobility killer like Spirit/Billy/Blight/etc., but against Freddy? Forget about it, if he has nothing better to do he is 100% on the way and will be arriving any second now ✅
Against a lot of killers, my friends might not even bother cleansing Ruin/Undying (some killers don't benefit too well from it, and some players don't know how to properly apply pressure with it) but against a Freddy? Ruin HAS to go because otherwise, we ain't getting to end game, even if the Freddy is rather low skilled. Ruin/Undying/Tinkerer simply plays too much of the game for him to leave Ruin up.
Anyways, tirade over. If he has Ruin, he probably has Undying. And if he has Ruin and Undying, he probably has Tinkerer. If I see a Freddy with Ruin, I take the time in the beginning of the match to play REALLY immersive, and get as many totems as I can (or just Ruin, if he doesn't have Undying). Big waste of time for you in the beginning, but you and your team will be glad it is gone by the time you get further into the match and aren't having as much time getting back and finishing the gens he originally chased you off of.
No ruin + yes Tinkerer Freddy is a lot more bearable. Just split up on gens so that you have a higher chance of being able to finish one, since he can't get to every single gen every single time. If you're confident in chases and know a teammate is nearby and can finish your gen if you get chased off, stay on the gen as long as you can and make sure he sees you for a chase. Otherwise, pay attention to your gen progress and make sure you get the hell out of Dodge before he even starts teleporting so that you have a better chance of hiding from him when he gets there.
Yeah that was probably why we struggled, ruin was still up due to undying and we aren't the most experienced players who know all totem locations yet. Tinkerer is really strong, probably going to pick it up myself for the weaker killers.
