You really need it against SWF
Yep. It's a miracle if you manage to get a couple chain hunts going in a match.

I know some of them are mean't to be memey, but most of them don't make any sense, or just give the killer itself more of a disadvantage, not really complaining just genuinely confused lol, I'm not even asking for Iri Addons to be like OP or give massive buffs, but I guess add more to the killers power?
Pinhead's Iri Configuration is practically required for to have any sort of fun playing him tbh

To be fair, survivors just gen rush and if any complaining was done, the survivors did way more of that than the killers did.
You heard it here everyone. Survivors doing their Sole objective is "gen rushing".

Who are the most tragic Killers and Survivors? Which stories resonate with you? Do any Killers earn your sympathy?
Meg’s story is really sad, I think that much is obvious. There are so many others but I have to give an honorable mention to Gabriel. His origins are just awful.
The Killers’ stories are really sorrowful too. The Spirit’s story is really really heartbreaking. Then there’s the Hillbilly and how horrible he was treated growing up. All of it so tragic.
Which stories stand out to you as particularly depressing?
Considering the Artist's story I'm gonna go with her

Also how is being moried different from being sent to a cage? He can only mori you when you're on death hook. Sending you to a cage in that situation would change nothing.
Because it's hardly fair that torment doesn't go away if he doesn't send you to the cage. It shouldn't last all game.

If you were a Distortion user you'd know the perk is still pretty strong. It's only a problem for survivors hiding all the time.
Really no point in running it when Boon: Shadow Step exists

I think this was a great addition. It used to be that survivors expected the killer to give the last survivor hatch, now the last survivor can give the killer a Mori.

Dracula's Bat form speed needs nerfing and his shapshift ability needs a longer cooldown

His kit just has no downsides. He can play essentially any tile with vampire/wolf. Hellfire has INSANE zoning, better than even Pyramid Head, and a ridiculously short (almost nonexistent) cooldown.
And then there’s bat form… where do I even start. The fact that you can get a free hit with drac’s already amazing chase, switch to bat INSTANTLY and render any distance a survivor has gained to nothing, then again INSTANTLY switch back to an oppressive chase power is just ridiculous.
He really shouldn't be able to shape-shifting so quickly. The cool down is practically nonexistent considering how fast he's able to change forms.

It's only fair tbh. Y

I know it's a perk that only activates in Endgame, but I still feel like a permanent 7% Haste is a bit much, I play mostly M1 killers and this perk is the bane of my existence, the fact that it can also be stacked with MFT to make you move at Huntress speed if you have Deep Wounds is also just unfair and you cannot convince me that it isn't
If you want hope nerfed then remove the haste the killer gains from NOED

IMO hex perks should maintain some kind of weaker version of their effect after being cleansed. The fact that they’re so easy to find, can be removed in seconds, and frankly aren’t very strong for most of them to begin with makes them a pretty bad option. Instead of being “high risk, high reward” they often feel like “extreme risk, zero reward.”
If they had some kind of weaker effect after being cleansed, it wouldn’t feel like they’re not worth taking.
For example, cleansed Ruin could lose the automatic regression but maybe it boosts the kicked regression to something between base regression and full Ruin. Cleansed lullaby could maintain its effect but maxed at 2 tokens. Cleansed Devour Hope would lose the mori but still allow instadowns at a high token number (7 or 8 maybe). Just as illustrations of what I’m thinking of.
They’d still be a bad option but it wouldn’t feel completely like a wasted perk slot.
Then all hex perks would need nerfs since that idea would make hexes op

Sporadically speed up the madness skill check rotation speed at irregular intervals and increase the chances of madness skill checks. The longer you're healing or repairing, the more chance you have triggering a skill check.
Add skill checks to totems too.
Or just having madness 3 giving the survivors incapacitated until they snap out of it would be great. No need to make the doctor ridiculously op tbh. Remember when the doctor passively made people insane just by existing?

The solution is too give reasons for killers to actually hook, not to buff survivors to the point of making one of the only viable ways to win as killer, completely obsolete.
Incentives already exist in the form of scourge hook perks.

@Tamo said:
Nerf this killer!
I hated the change of Flashlights no longer having value for burn or getting rid of traps, the thing is though as a player on both sides I can see the annoyance for Wraith & although rare Nurse etc. too, but the traps has been the worst change going. Hag got the best out of that change because now your options are wipe the trap while your teammate dies or don't wipe & let the killer down you anyway. It's BS!
Not to mention the fact that the purple add-on that silences the trigger sound is in most cases iri worthy due to the change, in the game I just had (hence the post) I went to save my teammate on the hook - another is also on hook my swf partner & the last is being slugged - I'm injured & have time to wipe & save. The killer had the add-on I mentioned & the green range add-on. I crouched to the ONE TRAP the whole time & somehow the killer was able to teleport to it & that was game. It's not only unfun & has always been but now it's even more prevalent due to anti-camp, since it just doesn't care but still basically does the same thing.
Hag games may be few & far between, but if every killer needs their attention Hag needs hers & specifically in this horrible area that has sucked for ages now. Sorry for the rant, I'm sure many have opinions on this, if you're just here to say "get gud" save it & if you can think of any solutions I'd be intrigued to hear but otherwise this is surely something most of us can agree is scummy & could do with addressing.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Wait.... You're not joking are you?......😐

@Saiph said:
Yeah it really doesn't feel like a good change.
The 2v1 hide&seek situation was already one of the least interesting parts of the game, and this change makes it far more common than before. Now every survivor hides like their life depends on it because they don't want to get mori'd, and killers slug the 2nd survivor 90% of the time. It feels like a net negative on both sides.
The whole base kit cypress mori change was such a horrible idea.
-
@BlightedTrapper said:
Wish they would've just put some of the power of the turning addons into his basekit, rather than gutting the addons with no compensation. And while they're at it they should replace the useless dissipation addons with actually fun ones, like the black grease and mother's helpers from pre-rework.
He didn't even get compensation nerfs when they buffed him so this is a long overdue nerf
-
@Bookern said:
To loved so people want to gut him like Skull merchant
Billy's kit isn't anywhere as bloated as Skull Merchant's was. And last time I checked SM never could zoom across the map as fast as him either. Did you honestly expect that he wouldn't get nerfed after receiving a straight buff?? Since most Billy's just practically hump you with their chainsaw revved anyways I don't feel an ounce of sympathy for him.
-
@joel84 said:
Quite the opposite. They will make fun of you and throw a teabag at you at the exit. If you don't have a problem with that, keep playing fair.
Otherwise: kill them all
The “thumbs up” option in the endgame screen, what is it? or rather, what is it good for? A useless feature and why the hell don't we have Art The Clown in the game yet? It's BHVR ... So money shouldn't matter after all.
I love this game, but sometimes I really wonder why I still do this to myself
I would like to see data that supports your claim of "95%" of the player base being like this. Otherwise I'm going to just assume your claim lacks any credibility whatsoever.

I'm an avid Billy main due to my addiction to double drift addons letting me waste a solid minute of my time doing laps around Ormond, so seeing the addon gutting just does not make sense to me. The basekit nerfs, sure, Overdrive's a bit nuts and I don't really care if it's tuned down a bit. The addons though?
Why are the turnrate addons being nerfed? Why was Lopro gutted? Why not aim for his actually problematic addon combo, double iridescent, the one that lets you down someone on the opposite side of the map in half a second?
Do you guys want every Billy to just run the same exact build by getting rid of the fun addons or is that just an unintended side effect? Also, why? Just why? If it's because your spreadsheet said they're being used too often, that's because they're fun, not because they're busted. Nobody that actually cares about winning is gonna be using the turnrate addons, we just wanna get sick Mario Kart clips through Red Forest or whatever.
Keep in mind that the straight buff out of nowhere they gave him made him even more horrible to play against. So now he's being toned down to offset those buffs.

No… there are games where the killers have no choice but to slug people over and over, not long ago a video with a streamer that had this issue was posted on these forums.
I have also had SWFs that abuse map offerings with certain maps + boil over, the only way to kill them was to bleed them out, because they found a spot where the killer had no chance to get them to a hook, and they would run there every chase.
So basically your saying you have no control over yourself? Nobody MAKES you do anything. Only you control your own actions. Claiming otherwise seems quite silly tbh.
-
@coldflame said:
how does this make sense? survivors taunting after every stun or sus vault whiff, standing around at gates, clicking flashlights the entire game, yet proceeding to complain that you're being a bad sport by using optimal strategies to try and win the game?
I mean if I tilt you enough to the point you start to play badly then that's solely your fault for taking the bait. It's a strategy that hardly works on good killers tbh. As for endgame chat It could be that I've grown a thicker skin in all my time plain multi-player games but you really shouldn't let it bother you. People like that exist in any multi-player game you play and won't change anytime soon

I mean what's fair is highly subjective tbh. What's fair about being camped to death by a Leatherface in the basement how is that fair??? How is being insta-killed by a tombstone+infinite evil Myers fair for people to play against since the only counterplay is hiding in lockers all game???? What you define as "fair" vs. what other people think as fair isn't set in stone. Getting upset over crouch spamming is a bit silly tbh. I'm not pretending survivor's have a skewed view of fair but killers have so many tools and free information perks at their disposal it's really hard not to be bias against killers sometimes

I have seen suggestions of reworking Hexes so the totem only lights up once the Hex becomes activate. For example, Ruin wouldn't appear until a survivor let go of a generator for the first time in a trial. Devour Hope wouldn't appear until a token was gained. Etc.
It would be a welcome change. It'd be nice to not lose a hex 30 seconds into the match just because a survivor spawned close to it.

I can confirm that a token recharges over the course of 30 seconds while chased. They do not recharge immediately.

This would take no more than 1 week. Gotta buff Huntress first tho, shes definitely a higher priority..
The huntress doesn't need any buffs. If anything she needs less hatches at the beginning because 6 is way too many

I despise The Legion because each game against one is just a mending simulator. Plus they all use the same slowdown builds that makes getting anything meaningful done as a survivor impossible. It's usually not a problem on most maps but on smaller ones he's completely busted

Since last updated, he got a decent buff on the cooldown of shape shifting, cutting literally in half. This means you can keep changing forms without any disadvantage, which is okay but it might be a little too much specially when you pair with the addon Clock Tower Gear.

Actually, he does kill. You can see this in the 1st movie in the scene with set hallway traps to kill Detective Cheng and Tapp when they raided his base. The first movie is where John is written as just your typical psychopath killer. It wasn't until later after the 1st one found it's instant success that Wan and his team really dug in on the whole "doesn't kill" philosphy when they were fleshing our more of his story. That's actually the great irony of his whole character's schtick in that he has his own mantra, but really is just a hypocrite.
Tbh sing died to a shotgun booby trap set up to off anyone dumb enough to follow John or his followers. His first REAl kill was Cecil aka the man who robbed Jill at gunpoint and slammed a door into her stomach causing her to miscarry
