The killer should have the option to leave without penalty if all survivors are bots, but it shouldn't automatically end. I also think survivors should be allowed to leave without penalty if someone else leaves unless they're SWF with the leaver. Bots are boring to play with and against.
-
Can't remember the last time I even had the gates powered against my Blight or Nurse and I still get thrown into lobbies within a minute of queuing up where survivors are clearly noobs. I'm sure MMR is technically a thing, but it seems to have little to no barring on matchmaking.
-
Did all the neutral challenges in the event tome on survivor and didn't run into a Xeno once.
-
Tunneling isn't a thing, much like genrush, it's just people playing the game. Take your L and move on.
-
I finished all the challenges in the first event Tome level np, not sure why so many in the community are struggling... only "hard" one was actually getting a killer to go near the ghost thing. The Void is pretty OP for killer, though.
-
Pretty uninteresting event IMO. I'm more intrigued by the whining and reeing on the forums and subreddit. Like, I did all the survivor and neutral challenges while playing normal solo queue, but apparently the average forum poster is so bad they can't do them without the killer being friendly? You just do gens and then click on the thingy and then use the portal to enter the thing and stand by the ghost thing... not hard, people.

Only if said exploit is officially recognised and announced as such.
Otherwise, you can't be banned for stumbling upon a bug or glitch.
The survivors doing it aren't "stumbling" into lockers repeatedly... you gaslighters are the worst. "oh gee golly the devs haven't said you're not supposed to be unkillable, so who can know if it's a bug or features uWu"
-
You must be in a small region. In the US it's quite uncommon for me to come across the same players.
-
I'm for removing the penalty. It's ridiculous that I'm expected to play out matches on corn maps as Myers!
-
I decided to try using a VPN and still get randomly disconnected from host despite my connection being stable otherwise. Currently at 60 minute penalty. I don't buy IXP excuse as I'd presumably be seeing similar issues with other AWS-hosted games.

You heard it here first, bots are OP.
😂 what a joke
No where in their comment did they say bots were OP. They noted the strength of bots, and you made up something to fit your narrative like the typical no lifer poster on this board does.

Whenever I try running it I find it not very useful. Sometimes in comes in clutch, but overall I think I'd rather have perks I get more consistent use out of.
-
BHVR ever gonna acknowledge that their servers are messed up?
-
Different dev team, different priorities.
-
I never dodge and survivors still whine, so it's a lose-lose.
-
Not sure what the high risk of DH is. If you're good you will land it most of the time.

After 30s CoB+OC regresses at .75 charges per second, not entirely sure the exactly scaling of OC, but prior to 30s it's obviously lower. For reference, a solo survivor repairs at 1c/s, and a gen requires 90 charges to be completed. It's really not a good combo unless survivors just hide for some reason, or they miss the skillcheck. Good survs don't miss the skillcheck, nor do they hide. CoB continues to give value for 60s after kicking a gen as it notifies you of any good skillchecks survs get, but that's really down to RNG.
-
I've tried it on numerous killers with various builds and it was consistently subpar to useless even when it didn't get cleansed for most of the match. You can only get value out of if you hit and run or someone takes a free hit, and even then most of the time the information it gave me wasn't any better than a perk like Whispers. And of course survivors these days heal up quite efficiently, and with most matches have CoH it makes the perk even worse. The only matches I was glad I had it was ones vs survivors who just hid in corners, but in such scenarios Whispers would've been better.
-
Considering in any given game multiple people are essentially playing to lose the only skillful play would be a win streak in a KYF setting where all 5 players are tryharding to win with none of the BS rules the tournaments implement.
-
It takes awhile for CoB+OC to do anything meaningful. So unless the killer sits there staring (in which case you have free rein on the other gens), just tap it when they leave. Literally sit on gen until the killer comes, then run away. Killer wastes time kicking the gen. If the killer continues chasing, you've got a massive head start, if not you just go back and tap the gen. This strat relies entirely on survivors being scared of the killer for some reason and hiding instead of doing gens.
Skull Merchant's drones are terrible. It doesn't slow repair speed, so the only reason to kill the drone is to avoid exposed, but that doesn't matter if you run DH. The killer knowing where you are is irrelevant because there's 4 survivors and no killer can pressure everyone all at once.
-
I don't really see how she succeeds in camping an area anymore than the other W M1 killers. She has no teleport/speed boost to quickly travel between gens, has no ranged attack, and her instadown is easily avoided spending a few seconds disabling the drone (and if you're injured and running DH you can just ignore drones). Just need 2 survivors, 1 on each of the furthest gens in the 3gen, to crack a 3gen in under 3 minutes. Boring? Perhaps, but if the other survivors are doing other gens then the match should be over relatively quickly.
-
Grinding 100m BP isn't difficult unless you think time = difficulty.
-
I'll probably mess around with Cut Loose and Blood Rush, but overall the perks are either straight up bad, or require too many conditions to be consistently useful.
-
BHVR's current roadmap goes to April, so they're unlikely to change anything meaningful until then (unless big updates are already in the pipeline). Despite the negative sentiment you may see on the forums, the game is still very popular (significantly more than when it originally released) and probably still raking in the cash.
-
For whatever reason BHVR loves not giving players all the information about stuff within the game client. I guess in their mind there's fun to be had in discovering random aspects of a killer's power.
-
Because it's funny. Especially when you trigger someone so hard they write a rant about it.
-
Why should I trust unverified numbers from Riot, a company owned by Tencent, one of the least trustworthy companies n the world?
-
100 fragments seems pretty good considering how much time it would take you to get that many normally.
-
Killing people in videogames will always be fun.
-
I doubt they'll ever really fine tune the MMR system as that would leave streamers who play all day with massive queue times as we see in other games. No one's going to wait 10+ minutes for a match of DBD that can end in under 5 minutes and usually ends in under 12 minutes.
-
You could intentionally lose 100 games in a row and wouldn't notice any difference in the quality of players you get matched with/against. MMR is meaningless.
-
Knight's extremely easy to "bully" because his power is garbage unless the survivor has no where to run. Killers like Nurse and Blight can end chases extremely quickly, leaving survivors less time to waste showboating.
-
It was buffed from just giving you distance to now giving you an extra health state you can use numerous times per match. You're borderline trolling if you don't run DH IMO.
-
It adds like 5s to mending, why would they killswitch an entire status effect for that?
-
25% survival rate would be fairly accurate to the horror films that inspired DBD.
-
This would leave to the streamers either sitting in extremely long queues or intentionally losing to derank for "content." So I doubt it'll happen.
-
Does it matter? P100s are just as likely to be as bad as a P0 in my experience. Takes no skill to have loads of free time to grind BP.
-
Only times I've done this was on accident, seems nonsensical that I should be banned for it.
-
Until maps are generated based on the killers' strength/weaknesses I don't think anything will change with the bad killers. The fact Blight and Trapper will be given the same map layouts is a serious problem.
-
It's unlikely they'll do something that'd affect the main playerbase negatively.
-
DBD has really subpar netcode.
-
Remove the Hex aspect, give it the old Ruin skillchecks, and make it like Corrupt where it deactivates when a survivor enters a dying state.
-
Considering how easy it still is to just backrev people he should be nerfed even more IMO.
-
Slugging was still a very strong strat even on the PTB they tested basekit unbreakable simply due to the fact that a survivor doing nothing but crawl around for 45s is often similar in value to hooking them. If you pick someone up you have to worry about flashlight/pallet saves, bodyblocks, boil over, sabo, etc, whereas with slugging you have none of those concerns and can immediately resume patrolling gens.
-
No player should be insulted for holding W. It's BHVR's fault for being terrible at map design.
-
I guess it's good if you get multiple tryhard survivors in the lobby, but overall I don't expect it to meaningfully change solo game outcomes. If anything it encourages suiciding on hook since you know for certain how worthless your teammates are being.
-
If the killer has the time to kick gens then survivors aren't applying enough pressure. All time spent going to and kicking a gen is free repair time on every other gen. Stop cleansing totems and looting chests and do a gen.
-
It's "working" in the sense that there is a hidden MMR system that is used to match players together, but it's extremely loose and more concerned about fast queues over balanced matches.
-
Considering it takes ages for BHVR to implement basic QoL changes to the main game I'd say the mobile team is just much more experienced at running a GaaS like DBD.
-
Nothing will change until they change how important gens are. We've seen with Deathgarden that BHVR doesn't know how to make a more engaging objective system.
