Predator, Pennywise (IT), Jack Torrance (The Shining), The Thing, Terminator and Jason (Friday 13th).
For my unrealistic choice, Jaws. Make it happen BHVR! I want to loop a big boi shark on Haddonfield.
-
I think the best way to do this would be with licenced cosmetics as opposed to a chapter.
Felix = Fred Cosmetic
Kate = Daphne Cosmetic
Michaela = Velma Cosmetic
Shaggy = Dwight Cosmetic
And then wraith could have a cosmetic of just a white table cloth over him with the eyes cut out.
I'd buy the ######### outta that.

Im not sure about controller but on pc there are remappable controls for example they had vaulting/dropping pallets set to Space. But i changed them to Q. Meanwhile mending was on right click by default so its never been on the same control as dropping pallets etc. Maybe theres an option to switch mending and stuff to RT while keeping vaulting and pallet interactions on RB?
As far as I can tell there is no way to remap it for controller in the options, but thanks for the suggestion.

God no. Delete this.
-
I really hope they add an ability to randomise your perks for your character when you reach a certain prestige level (like in chaos shuffle)
-
Please add an option to disable survivor voice lines!
-
This is the only perk that has me concerned from the list. It should become disabled during the end-game collapse like DS will be for a start otherwise it's pretty much a guaranteed escape at endgame after being unhooked. Also it should potentially only activate once per match if this is going to be what it does now.
-
A button in the loadout screen that blind-randomises your perks for the next game and gives you a small boost in bloodpoint gains for doing so. Hopefully this would mean more perk variety in games instead of meta perks every game.
-
I really hope so.
-
Probably chains of hate. I'm not a particular fan of the killer, survivor or map but worst of all was the teaser which left me blue balled thinking it could be Pinhead.
-
For me it's definitely the twins.
A lot of people saying the plague but I see them fairly regularly.
Rank 4 survivor.
-
My bet is on Chucky.
-
I don't really want more RE.
My money is on Chucky.
-
Maybe. Depends on reviews when it's out and reports on how DBD runs on it.
-
Killer: Jack Torrence.
Perk: Here's Johnny!
Whenever you break a breakable wall all survivors in your terror radius become exposed for 20/25/30 seconds.
-
I believe there is a new Chucky series coming out in October this year so I definitely wouldn't count it out.
-
His power can be getting in his green motor and mowing you down in the name of teddy.
-
Jason, Chucky and Pinhead are my top 3.
Pennywise and Candyman closely follow.
Jack Torrence would be cool too.
-
If they want to add Chucky as a playable character then I'm sure they can make it work. I'm all for it and hope one day he will be added!
-
I too hope the next licensed chapters return to slasher roots. Pinhead, Chucky, Jason, Pennywise, Candyman, Jack Torrence etc.
-
Underated in my opinion but not meta or anything.
-
It's rare to face the Twins but every time I do face them I appreciate the chase theme and their audio design in general.
-
If they removed the zombies and buffed him to compensate I wouldn't mind him, but the zombies are just too annoying, as both survivor and killer.
-
My only concern with this is some killer powers are a bit iffy on hilly terrain/stairs. For example PH's ranged attack, doctors shock, nemesis ranged and Oni slam to name a few. Using these uphill sometimes results in a hit not connecting/registering so hopefully that isn't an issue if maps do have more verticality in general.
-
No but like most things, once you've had enough exposure to it then it's no longer scary. I do wish it had a more unsettling atmosphere in general like you see in the silent hill map or the house in the new Thompson house.
-
No I am not interested in the lore whatsoever to be honest but I appreciate that they put effort into it because there are people who do enjoy it.
-
Hellraiser, Child's Play and Friday the 13th chapters are my top 3. Once / if these are added I will be very happy :)
-
Was there an ETA for these model reworks? If so I've missed it. Thanks.
-
Survivor: Not too much to say, cool design with decent perks.
Killer:
- Aesthetic and lore: Overall really like it. Definitely gives me 'Asian Ultra Violence' vibes (my first thought was Ichi The Killer). The only part I'm not a fan of aesthetically is the neon looking pink bits on the weapon.
- Power: Meh. I don't love it or hate it. Time will tell how strong it is but initially doesn't seem OP or complete garbage to me.
- Perks: Cool perks with new ideas and I think they are pretty well balanced overall.
-
I like him. I think they've taken some influence from Asian cinema. Perfect Blue influence was theorised before release and Ichi The Killer was the first thing that came to mind for me when I saw him.
-
I personally wouldn't absolutely hate it or be outraged if they put FNAF in the game, even though I have personally never played it or had any interest. If it brings new players or pleases a decent proportion of current ones then I don't see a problem. For me there are just a tonne of other licensed characters I would rather see in DBD first who I think are more timeless and iconic than FNAF characters (Jason, Chucky etc).
-
Every time.
-
Adoring Fan new killer confirmed.
-
The release of a new chapter normally always makes me return if I have had a break for any reason.
-
Doctor, then at least someone would be laughing at my jokes.
-
For original chapter it's Cursed Legacy for me. Oni is just badass and fun to play both as and against. The map was decent with the creepy statues being a nice touch and Yui is a pretty cool survivor. Whilst I don't think the perks were the best/meta they were still interesting.
-
Maybe it's gonna be an animatronic / doll like killer that was an on-stage replica of the pop-star but malfunctioned (glitching/survivor seen through screen like eyes)? Something kind of like Alisa from Tekken visually but torn up and bloody looking to fit DBD's aesthetic...
... But probably not lol.
-
As far as license killers go I think Chucky and Jason are the two iconics that have yet to be added. I would also like Pinhead though.
-
In regards to only a small portion of players using custom games, I think that is because the features for it are pretty basic. If some work was done on it (like for example the ability to add bots, a practice mode or allow people to set custom rules with friends) then you would see more people in custom games. I understand it shouldn't be a priority but I do think it should be looked into at some point for sure.
Thanks for the post.
-
Just remove the razors and I think it would be fine, they look so ugly!
-
On the flip side killer related hook perks like BBQ and make your choice don't work with cages either so I think it's fair.
-
I'm a big bioshock fan but if we were going to get another license chapter I think there are still quite a few more iconic ones left before we start getting to stuff like bioshock. Not to say I wouldn't think it was cool but there are other things higher on my wishlist.
-
Yes I second this, BP offerings are not being consumed and therefore not working.
-

Working fine for me.
It's specifically the BP offerings on PH I'm finding don't work just to clarify, sorry.
-
I second this. Offerings aren't working.
-
I find if you equip an ebony Mori with a disliked killer with the best add ons and noed etc then you will see people who are clearly using this just leave straight away and then when you get survivors in the lobby who stay then you can assume they aren't using it and change to what you actually wanted to play. It is very annoying though and needs to be dealt with as a priority.
-
I think at the least you should be able to have one survivor challenge and one killer challenge active at once so you don't have to manually change your challenge when switching roles.
-
Nothing play as normal.

I think he saved up all the tome challenges and dailies...
I see, thanks!

1 mil points stored the normal way.
90k from dailies I haven't claimed.
The rest from archive challenges I've completed but haven't claimed.
Plus if I want to I could also spent shards on perks I already own in the shrine of secrets for even more.
Ah okay, I had never thought of doing this, thanks!
