Okay, sorry, I'm clearly not in the right mind because I'm definitely angry. Bhvr won't give you any choice or sense of complacent. I'm just mad that you won't even know if the hacker got banned. But..... Forum rules. Why it applies to hacker. Why? It's hard to find a reasonable explanation, but there's nothing. I'm really mad you know? Knowing the game that you invested with time and money is hacker friendly. I just bought the game on nov, bought dlc and rift. It was the first multiplayer game that I enjoyed since I always play single player.

No one is supporting hackers. But the innocent until proven guilty applies to everyone. Nothing to change it.

Naming and Shaming rule applies to everyone even possible hackers.
Unless you have daming proof or them specifically saying "I'm using hacks" they are innocent until proven guilty.
There's already a video... Are we on a court room or something? Are we really supporting hackers here?

Because updating every single person that makes a report takes time. Time that is better spent going through other reports.
At least on some games you'll know when they got remove while playing the game.

I literally don't understand. Like the
tunneling I'm new to the game. If I was near and some go for a save I go back to chase the one who made a save if I was far I'm going on a chase. I don't really understand why's the killer fault. Who made the rules. The only thing not acceptable for me is camping like the one I played with Bubba with insideous perk inside the killer shack

I'm not focusing on someone I was chasing the other survivor in the killer shack and then this other guy was unfortunately in there too he was tbagging me outside the window and hit him then he down. Didn't pick him up chase out the other survivor and by the time I'm returning to him he was beside the pallet and someone was beside hime and down him. Then they disconnected.

I played Dota 1, Dota 2 and LoL, when I'm in highschool. 3 over 5 games, survivor are being toxic like why do I need Lethal pursuer, tunneling after I hooked 2 to 3 survivors. It's not my fault that they come on my way.

Either the 1 killer is depressed they didnt get anyone, or only got one or two or all 4 survivors are pissed at the killer. It's impossible for everyone to be happy in this game.

It depends on the infraction.
Verbal abuse in post-game chat, for example, does not require additional evidence as they can just check the logs.
However cheating, griefing and similar require video evidence that can be gathered by setting up the Nvidia Replay system, as Hastarkis pointed out.

Sometimes screenshots can work but mostly kinda yes, you have to record act of cheating somehow. Some consoles and Nvidea GeForce Experience allow to shadowly record everything (without saving) and save only last X minutes by hot-key, for example. Afaik, tt's not super system consuming. Or allow you to start/end recording. I use this shadow-recording feature myself to save accidental funny moments or cheaters. Of course it is not ideal and requires time from you (to crop/upload) but I'm invested enough to do that. Oh, and make note you have to provide your dbd player id (you can find it in settings) but cheater's name is optional! In case of anonymous mode or something like that feel free to report them in-game and leave the field in the ticket blank if you don't have information. This could be confusing at first but anonymous mode doesn't prevent you from reporting. Just for you know.
Also, developers announced improvements for the report system. New tools or smth like that. I'm looking forward to see more.

They banned over 50.000 cheaters this year alone with a total of 200.000 since the game came out. They are getting banned, so don't worry.

As for being able to play: vac-anticheat block people from playing games which are protected by vac. You still can play all other games.

These days I still see the soft hacks (players with permanent haste, or abnormal fast speeds in their objectives), but I havent faced a forceful disconnect hacker again, thankfully
Why the hell they're not getting banned? The game is beautifully balance for me. I wish the dev will focus on the anti cheat system. Since the game was fun to me.
